We have previously stayed here and we visit Napier a few times in a year. We love we are able to stay here and that we are valued as frequent customers

The shower over the spa bath was not my favourite, water splashed out on the floor and the shower pressure was not good.

Absolutely stunningggg place to stay at. My girls absolutely loved the spa in the lounge area. Thankyou so much for a beautiful stay.

It wasn't a big dislike but the info online and in the guest book it said there were electric blankets on the beds but there wasnt

Great location. Room was clean and tidy. Parking was easy. Food in the restaurant was good, as was the restaurant service.

Paint was peeling above the shower (needs tidying up). When I went to reception to check out, I was told that the eftpos machine had not been recharged overnight so I couldn't pay for the dinner and breakfast I had eaten overnight. I was asked if I could go to a money machine to get cash (there was no back-up machine or way of paying). Since I was about to go to a meeting and didn't have the time to go to a money machine and return, I agreed to come back later in the day to clear my remaining bill (which I did). Although the service was very good (the morning receptionist was very apologetic and the afternoon receptionist got things sorted quickly), it was disappointing that someone failing to re-charge the eftpos machine overnight made paying my bill my problem to solve (having to go and get some cash and come back, or come back later in the day to pay it). Suggested improvements are: having a permanently wired eftpos machine (great unless there is a power cut), have an alternative eptpos machine that can be used eg in the restaurant (which is also great unless there is a powercut) and/or having manual credit card slips (which were used before eftpos was developed) to be able to capture a guest's card details and signature if there is no power.

Overall the facilities were more than what we expected,big rooms with comfy beds,location was good as it was close to the beach and staff were proffesional in delivering a good service.

Shame the pool was closed, we had booked it becaus eof the pool. Maybe a discount on the hot pools down the road recommended to us by the hotel as the pool was closed but not a major inconvenience based on how cheap the hotel.

Single ply toilet paper. Small ants in kitchen area. Rotten corner bathroom door with rusted hinges.

Staff attitude. Unkept promise about pool. No communication about pool. Lied about each room having a bond. Only one. Restaurant was never open. Went for breakfast Friday morning. No one in reception. No one in Restaurant. Then found out only open on weekends. Never told that. Would never stay there again.

Room smelt like bleach, even after airing it out couldn't get rid of the smell. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Parking was a issue. I drive a suv and you could not park under the hotel. Was way too small for bigger cars.

Location - handy to our scheduled meeting venue. Proximity to Shopping - warehouse etc. Room was fine, comfortable...heating was good.

Staff lacked good communication skills. Poor comms for laundry use in the household booklet...no reference to laundry when locked required to have room key to show staff before gaining access. Required to return to room to retrieve the key and then needed to have the necessary and correct coins card to operate the machines...we decided to go to a laundromat in the city.

I booked through booking.com got charged with my visa debit card when i arrived i was told my visa debit card wasnt a credit card and couldnt have my hotel room ive been charged $120 for this room so bit of a scam hotel so book elsewhere if your visiting napier. Just to add to this i stayed at this hotel last year and used my debit card abd wasnt a problem but heard its changed hands since then

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was quite good for my trip.

Very poor wifi connection. Covered swimming pool but was not heated. So on a cloudy day its very cold to get in to pool.

Staff were super helpful and friendly.the family room is spacious and fully equipped

Had to pay a $200 cash bond per room x 2 an refunded once we checked out on top of that had to pay for the rooms, we booked thru booking. com. Never had that done before so won't be back to stay, scroll thru there website its there

Loved the location, great to be able to walk to the center for dinner etc and the park across the road. The shower was a nice big size and had great pressure.

The room was quite small, the bed was too small and soft, not comfortable pillows. There were ants in the kitchen (not heaps) and the kettle was broken so we used the microwave. It was quite noisy, both from outside (not their fault, the Deco train and loud cars etc.) and we were also right on the end by the stairs so we heard every person coming up and down all night. The shower was good except when other people were using it. I had a shower in the afternoon and it was lovely and hot by my husband had a shower in the morning and said it was not hot, cool but not ice cold. I guess he missed out on the hot water. Didn't use any of the facilities, they don't have electric car charger available and the carpark is pretty hard to get in and out of if you don't have a tiny car.

No breakfast service onsite during the week. Adverts say there was, but staff advised there was nothing until weekend. there were other places if you wanted to walk down the street for breakfast - not very convenient though.

Location was great for what we wanted, and the price was affordable too. Staff on check in & check out were friendly and efficient.

The hot plates in the room were rusty and didn't look safe to use. The tile flooring was extremely cold underfoot, which made the whole room colder. While the water pressure was great in the shower, it wasn't very hot - even when turned right up it was luke warm at best. Parking was very tight underneath - if people didn't move far enough forward it was tight to get past. And some parks were near impossible to park in.

The room was great - comfortable, and with a spa bath which I wasn't expecting. The mini kitchen was well equipped.

Nothing I didn't like, but some hand soap in the kitchen would be a nice touch.

We booked a supeior room Didnt have anything more to a standard room except a king bed...balcony needs attention. Cigarette butts...unfortunately our stay ended with an incident with our ute been broken into and items stolen. The lady at the desk was very helpful..

The rooms & bathtooms are outdated signs of age and mould in bathrooms Car parking is a issue and not enough If your on the 3rd floor you have to walk up stairs and could be a issue for people who have dificulties or elderly Bugga there was no spa pools or hor tubs

Good location. Generally a comfortable room.

Shower experience. The water spayed over the top of the partition. It wet all my clothes, floor etc. Not a good design! This morning, the shower water was cold. I realize sometimes things happen which can't be foreseen. However, there should be some compensation for the inconvenience here.

Lovely big kitchen

Tiles on the kitchen and bathroom floor were very slippery as elderly we were worried of falling. Also no table to sit and eat just a desk with one chair. There was room to put another chair.

Location is great and it is good value for money.

Too many little things that are easily fixed. The wireless was unusable and has been every time we stayed. The lighting is terrible in the room and the shower screen is way too low and everything gets wet in the bathroom. The lighting in the stair well doesn't work reliably and you end up navigating in the dark.

Third time ... last time. Very dated but have persisted as the location is fantastic for what we need. Travelling as a business person, it is useless as the internet connectivity is non-existent. Had to tether to phones to maintain any connectivity. Rooms are very tired. Lighting is a joke. Small things like having the lights in the bathroom behind you so you cant see what you are doing, shower screen so low that everything gets covered in water when you shower, and the lighting in the room ... have a torch ready. If you do try to reach up to turn off the lights above the bed, do so carefully. They are not led bulbs and if you miss the tiny switch right under the fitting, you WILL burn your fingers. You will only eat at the onsite restaurant once ;)- That is not such a big issue as there are plenty of local options. Sorry team, but it will be our last visit.

Shower just a little small az I am over 6foot but awesome pressure.

location. was close to food activities beach retail shops the room was warm once heat pump was on.

the shower was noise when in use. the bathroom did not have any vents. the bed was to soft could feel every move. the wifi was soo slow we ended up using our own data. we could hear the next door spa at 2am and them talking.

Awesome place and best hospitality. Polite and gentle staff.

Just the first night when it was overpacked people still walking around after midnight I was on my own with 2 kids and just got a little bit scared nothing happened tho we were safe just didn’t like how late it was and felt like they were standing outside my room absolutely nothing to do with the hotel itself
