Big comfortable bed.. would book this room again for the price and what you get amenities and size you compared to most other cities
Spa bath didn't work properly (couldn't turn in bubbles or jets) didn't matter too much at late night for the sound f9r other guests but would've been great for the morning spa. Great place otherwise

There is also access to the nearby beach which is just across the road. The accommodation was clean and spacious and was good value for money. The host Julian was incredibly friendly and gave us valuable information about the Napier area and places to visit.

Reviewed Mar 27, 2026Easy to find and friendly welcome from Julien, our host who showed us to our accommodation & explained the facilities. We'd booked the penthouse apartment which was spacious and well equipped for self-catering (but we ate at Hunger Monger restaurant for a treat - highly recommended!). Large comfy bed, hot shower and lounge area looking out onto the balcony and view of beach. lovely suprise to find a hot tub in the apartment too. There was a laundry on site but we didn't use this. Great location for exploring Napier as easy walk to the central area, shops and historic art deco buildings. The walk along the beach esplanade was interesting and the beach looked great for a swim if the waves were calmer. Julien helpfully gave us a useful map and list of eating & drinking establishments he could recommend and nearby places to visit. Highly recommended for a stay in Napier.
Nothing negative to report except we wished we could stay more than one night!

The cleanest and best maintained room we have stayed at in many years of travel. The thoughtfulness of layout, fittings and finish was a pleasure to experience. Location is within a short walk to everywhere. Julian is one of the most professional, experienced and caring operators we have come across. Book early and change your plans to stay longer to enjoy one of the "gems" in accommodation.

The room was perfectly decorated and accommodated and very spacious. Julian was always on site and available to help with luggage, dining recommendations, etc. We highly recommend a stay!

Zum Baden war es sowieso zu kalt. Und am Strand beim Hotel kann man wegen der grossen Wellen nicht baden.
