The Hotel at Auburn University

Beautiful hotel, valet was friendly, pet friendly hotel which was so nice for us because we travel with our dog frequently, rooms were nice and love the nepresso coffee in the room!

Breakfast was very good. Front desk staff was extremely friendly. Valets were great!

The mattress on the pull out couch in our suite could be better. I know it's just a couch, but the fact that it makes into a bed means some guests, like myself, will use it. It's pretty pathetic :( Needs a better mattress and a comforter to go along with the linens provided for that pull out bed. It got pretty chilly through the night but I didn't want to call housekeeping to get a comforter because I didn't want to wake up the kids traveling with us. Would have been nice to have a comforter to go with the sheets and the one blanker provided.

Everything! The restaurant was delicious. We really loved the Piccollo bar was relaxing, swanky and the band was great. We enjoyed coffee at the coffee bar every morning and it was phenomenal.

The pool was clean but murky.

The restaurant was pretty good - the food was good, but it felt understaffed for the parents moving kids into the dorms and for the conference folks there. It seemed fairly full but the staffing was light.

The room wasn't great - the beds were good. When you stay in Auburn during a busy time - we were there to move our freshman into his dorm- the hotels get expensive. This room was small, not attractive, and needed a visual update for the cost.

Excellent hotel. The staff made the difference. They were all polite, courteous and professional. They are the most positive and can-do group I have dealt with in a long time.

Excellent location in the middle of campus. Beautiful exteriors, modern lobby with signature fragrance, but the rooms are very basic. Cheap flooring, wall covers, fabrics, and window AC units. Molton brown toiletries are very nice. But the rooms are cheaply furnished. Self Parking in the adjacent garage is $23 per day.

Best place to stay in Auburn when visiting our son! The amenities, service and location can't be beat. It will be our go to hotel for the next 4 years!

Came for Camp War Eagle And appreciated how they had information for parents before the event started to help put us at ease. The room and bed were very comfortable with plenty of space to put our stuff for the five days we were here. Definitely check out the Hey Day market as it’s a great casual setting and has cornhole and lots of food options for the whole family.

No hot water!!!! Love the hotel but somewhat expected more from the staff to make it right. Maybe time to try out the The Graduate...

This is the best place to stay in Auburn and particularly for Camp War Eagle. Convenient to everything, with a helpful staff, I would highly recommend it.

We were in town 3 nights for a tennis tournament. Location was great, rooms were nice and staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stays at this hotel are always fantastic. Very friendly, helpful staff. The facilities are top notch. Convenient location to Auburn University campus. Abundant high quality food and beverage options, both within the hotel and in the adjacent Hey Day Market. Also, the front desk at this hotel will coordinate spa services at the sister hotel, The Laurel Hotel and Spa, which are wonderful. Great team there as well.

Our 2026 Family Reunion was held at Auburn University. The staff, from the valet personnel to the front desk receptionist, were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this amazing hotel to family and friends visiting the Auburn area. July 2026

Hotel is nice. Dont expect any I Prefer status acknowledgment or benefits. Staff was very dismissive of trying to receive benefits advertised online.

From check in to check out, this place is great. Clean, convenient to downtown and campus. Staff was amazing. Beds were very comfortable.

We love staying at The Hotel at Auburn every year on our way to North Georgia. It's become one of our favorite traditions! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the restaurant is delicious. We also travel with our two dogs, and this is by far one of the most pet-friendly hotels we've stayed at. They truly make pets feel welcome, and we really appreciate that there are no extra pet fees. That alone keeps us coming back. We always look forward to our stop in Auburn!

The Hotel at Auburn is the perfect place to stay while visiting Auburn. The hotel location provides easy access to the campus and the employees are all very professional and welcome you with a smile.

First of all when you arrive associates will immediately come to the vehicle if you're driving and take care of your luggage while you're checking in. Checking in so smooth friendly happens in a matter of minutes and you're off to your room. Naturally restaurant is super or evening as well as morning meals. Or enjoy a terrific mozzarella Pizza at the bar for example. Now another big benefit is it's proximity to the campus which I'm sure most people who book realize so I'll reinforce the very convenient location everything on campus within walking distance. And I should say downtown is also just down the street and shoppers always talk about the wonderful stores Sunday Great deals they find and downtown auburn. So if you're going to visit auburn, stay at the Auburn conference center!

We stayed for Camp War Eagle 2026. We had stayed on our first campus visit in 2024. Great experience both times! The students who work at the hotel are great examples of all that is right with AU!

Great hotel with great friendly staff. We were here during CWE so lines by elevators were enormous. I wish there would be signs leading to the stairs which are hidden and entrance from outside. Other then that great experience

What a beautiful hotel, staff were friendly and welcoming. Had a room on the executive floor so soft drinks and snacks were available all day. Breakfast was also included with the room don’t think it was much more so excellent value for money. Loved the hard wood floors in the room and the outdoor pool. The hotel was spotless wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it

I love this hotel! It reminds me of what hotels used to be when service was a priority. Everyone was warm and welcoming and eager to help. The lobby and rooms are warm and inviting and clean!

The hotel's location is great. It's nice to have a restaurant and bar downstairs. The rooms have terrible lighting though and this gets on my nerves every time I stay.

Love that the room is spacious enough to accomodate a family. Enjoy how close to campus the hotel is and the staff can always answer our Auburn University questions.

Overall, one of the better hotels we have ever stayed at. Wonderful experience for a quick overnight stay after dropping our daughter off for swim camp at Auburn University that is across the street from campus and near wonderful dining spots. You won’t be disappointed.

The room smelt slightly damp. The bar also closes early for a hotel but maybe because it was quiet.

After staying in several hotels in Auburn this was a great choice and our "to go" hotel in the future. Facility first class, staff was super!

We love staying at The Hotel at Auburn University when we are in town to visit our student. This booking was for graduation weekend and our last hoorah was perfect. Close to campus, great restaurant and bar, friendly staff made for a great stay. Just sorry we won't be back in Auburn any time soon. Should we ever pass through and need a place to stay, I would look to book here first.

We had a wonderful time to a great weekend at graduation. Our dinner in the restaurant was fabulous. Service in the hotel is the best!

This is one of my favorite hotels. The location is great! You can walk everywhere in downtown Auburn. The hotel is clean, relaxing, and has a great staff! The Arricia restaurant has never disappointed me. Everything I have ordered has been delicious!

I moved rooms three times each one worse than the next. I wouldn’t recommend or return. The pool and pool areas were dirty as well.

We had a very nice stay at the Hotel at Auburn. Great staff and well appointed clean room. The associated restaurant in the building and at the sister hotel were outstanding. First class as you would expect from an"I prefer" establishment.

Everything from the staff to our room was perfect! The food was excellent, and everyone made our stay easy and welcoming.

The only thing I did not like the bathroom was too small. The toilet sits very close to the door no room if you leave the door open. The best hotel.

Location was amazing. First time in the city, the rooftop terrace next door was fantastic. Was very impressed with hotel decor, ambiance, and complimentary pantry. Even the smell in the hotel was great, very comforting.

We enjoyed the hospitality at Auburn. We were greeted by Brady at the front desk who was very personable and made us feel very welcome. My daughter was there for a tour of the university and he made her feel very welcome.

TV was broken. Black mold in shower. Pool was green. EV chargers were not available. Cost of room was too high for value received

room were small. Nice hotel overall. Had an issue at the italian restaurant we visited that is attached to the hotel. Valet was helpful check in was easy. not worth any more than 200 a night

Lovely staff at valet, check in and onsite restaurant. Rooms felt spacious and were clean. Self park in the adjacent garage was convenient, the fitness center was fine, and the location can’t be beat. We would look forward to another stay.

Excellent location. Easy walking town. Staff at Hotel was very nice and accommodating. The jazz/blues on Thursday-Sunday is a pleasant surprise, quality musicians. I had dinner one night at Ariccia, nice atmosphere. Pasta dishes appear to be specialty. Room was clean and adequate.

The Auburn Hotel is one of my favorite hotels, and I travel all over the country. The staff is always courteous and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the restaurant and bar are outstanding.

Bre Moore displayed outstanding customer service! She made our stay very enjoyable and that is why we continue to come back here.

Stayed here for an Auburn college tour. This is such a wonderful hotel- we really loved it. I wish it wasn’t $1,000 per night during football season or we’d stay here all the time. The lobby restaurant was wonderful for both breakfast and dinner. Literally right on campus so didn’t have to go far for the tour. Staff is friendly and welcoming without being off-putting. Will try to stay here every time we’re in Auburn.

We liked everything about the property…close proximity to the university pool (we were there for a weekend long swim meet), staff, lobby, reception, cafe, gym, etc. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops easily and quickly during our free time. Room was clean and comfortable. Robes and slippers were a nice touch. During a short rest from competition, we were able to watch the Christmas parade from our room. Due to our early morning schedule, the cafe was a welcomed convenience. Staff were always very friendly and accommodating. Lobby was nicely decorated for the Christmas holiday and had a lovely scent.

Proximity to campus. The hotel was clean, everyone was very friendly

The gym was small. Peloton didn't work. It was difficult to work out when more than 4 people in the room.

I enjoy staying at The University Hotel for events. It's a great place to stay just across the street from campus. Great Location

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Auburn U campus. The service, room, cleanliness, bed comfort, were all excellent! The hotel is across the street from campus and next to a wonderful food hall.

Staff was so friendly. I travel with my dog and everyone was so welcoming. This hotel is very pet friendly. So close to Toomers and easy to access campus. Restaurant in the hotel was exceptional with homemade pasta and nice vibe

An absolutely delightful hotel directly across the street from Auburn University. Immaculate, beautiful rooms. Awesome shower with great water pressure. Soft, comfy beds, pillows and comforters. Complimentary snack room on each floor, complimentary Nespresso in the room. PET FRIENDLY with no additional deposit required!!!!! Safe, walkable surrounding area. Plenty of restaurants. The staff are welcoming in every interaction. We would stay at this hotel again in the future.

We had such a wonderful graduation weekend at the Hotel at Auburn University! Staff were so welcoming- starting with the valet staff and on to check-in - perfect! Loved our room upgrade and our son sent us a welcome bottle of wine and cute charcuterie board which were waiting in our room when we arrived. Staff in Arriccia were also wonderful!
