View of the river was very nice. Before we booked in my opinion we were led to believe there was breakfast included, but that was not why we booked this room even though it was was a consideration while choosing. Breakfast even though not included was not inferior and prices were comparable to most.

Lack of direct room service

I attended a private function that night. The servers were wonderful and the food provided was delicious. Something came up and I wasn't able to spend the night after all. I stopped at the desk to tell them but there was just one person at the desk and the customer he was helping had an issue that was taking awhile (neither one's fault). I didn't want to wait any longer to start my long drive home so I left

The hotel itself is modern and well-maintained, but the boardwalk and surrounding streets are industrial mostly and not very inviting. It’s a place if you're stopping through, but not ideal if you're looking to wander around. The noise from construction was distracting while we were in the room. However it was only during daytime hours so altogether reasonable.

I waited over 30 minutes for my room. I finally settled for an alternate room. The lobby was being washed and there were hoses on the floors plus they were wet! That was very dangerous! I have difficulty ambulatory.

Great spot with clean rooms and parking. Highlight spot is Ryan in the hotel bar/restaurant. He is a gem! Friendly and attentive. Makes you want to go there again versus going out.

We thought we had paid for breakfast with our room but were charged extra for it and the blue and white checkered paper that the breakfast was served on had blue dye that bled onto our pancakes. Also the room had an unpleasant smell.

Staff was warm and welcoming, rooms were decent sized and comfortable, despite being busy was not loud.

I had a hard time getting my work online done as they put my name in the system backwards and I had to reboot my device several times to make it work.

The staff and food on location was amazing and very good quality although pricey it did make up for it with quality and portion size. Unfortunately, every single amenity I had reserved this hotel for were not available, not accessible or non existent

I chose this location because of the hot tub and pool offered. I reserved a king suite with an in room private access riverview balcony and bathtub. My kids wanted to swim and I figured if the hot tub was too packed I could use the bath in the room. After placing my reservation, I called to confirm that the pool and hot tub available because it said of the receipt that they were closed and was assured that both were open and available. however when we got to the room, there was no bathtub just a shower and the balcony was locked and had no access for the season, which it did not mention anywhere on the website. We go down to the hot tub and pool and see the hot tub had been removed and tiled over. Went across to the gym and while we were looking at the gym, they locked the door and shut the pool down for maintenance until the following day. So all of the amenities that I paid specifically to have were not even accessible. Worst yet all of the bookings on this site are offering these rooms with all these amenities that they either do not have or have access to use currently. Very misleading, very dishonest and very unprofessional. For such a well-known chain, I was extremely disappointed to have none of the things I had paid for in my stay considering if ai known I would’ve gone to a hotel with none of those things available for a third of the price I paid to have them here. The hot tub specifically needs to be taken off the list because it’s advertised as one of the few places anywhere near here that have one and was my number one reason for booking it and they do not even have one anymore

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. I was dissappointed about not having a jacuzzi tub... It was the only reason i chose this hotel. The upgraded room i was given was enormous with an awesome river view. I wanted a tub so badly that i moved to a smaller room. (I regretted that, but it was my choice) The front desk hostess was extremely sweet. The entire stay was very nice. Will definately recommend.

OMG, where do we start! First, the hotel was very clean! The crew were Very accommodating and helpful. Anything we needed was fulfilled! We were there for one week, but we will be back! Your organization need to realize how GREAT the team there is! It was WONDERFUL!

We had supper there, and it was excellent! Plan to stay there again when we’re in town, and eat supper right there!

I like a firmer pillow; but there was one one a chair in the room that I put in the pillow case, so I improvised!

Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. The best was the restaurant within the hotel. Small store with drinks and snacks. Cute little pool for the kids. I love that check out time was noon, so we didn't have to rush out in the morning. Great experience.

We could hear loud music coming from maybe a dance club or an event but, it only lasted about an hour or so!

I was traveling through the Lewiston/Auburn area when I suddenly began to feel very ill and needed to get off the road right away. I was so fortunate to find the Hilton Garden Inn Lewiston Auburn. Even though I arrived around 11:30 a.m.—well before the standard 3:00 p.m. check-in—Jacki Mo at the front desk immediately noticed I wasn’t feeling well and went above and beyond to get me into a room right away. Her kindness and compassion made all the difference. I was able to rest and recover safely instead of having to sleep in my car at a rest area. After nearly 18 hours of much-needed sleep, I felt well enough to continue my trip. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, but it’s truly the outstanding customer service that sets this place apart. I’m so grateful to Jacki and the entire team for their care and professionalism during a difficult moment. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Team did a great job over a very busy week with family weekend occurring at Bates. Heather and Terry were excellent in housekeeping, Ryan at the bar was great, Jackie Morgan took care of my room requests.

The room was very clean and had everything needed. The shower had great water pressure.

It took two days to get poly-fill pillows (allergic to feather). Our reservation was for four nights, and our room was only cleaned on the afternoon of our last night. We didn’t get fresh towels until the last night, and there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling from the room above that happened every day starting on the first night. We used our towels to save the floor (and the room below us) and they didn’t replace our towels even then. I had to complain multiple times to several people, making me feel like the jerk for pointing out the leak and needing fresh towels. One night manager promised a one night credit, but the desk person the morning of check out told us no. That any refund due to “inconvenience” was the responsibility of Hotels.com

Great location

The waitress, Samantha, was great! She really likes her job. Road out front was yuck. Parking was problematic as big trucks/SUVs were parked close together. Made it hard for us to move our car. Also, the old median strip is a hazard.

Clean and quiet rooms, great cooked to order breakfast, nice lobby and dining area.

The king bed was very high from the ground, making it a bit difficult to climb into.

stay was good only complaint is the tv remote very difficult to use never did figure it out completely

Was advertised as having a gym we are both Avis gym people. No gym but they would give you a pas to the ymca across the road in a very questionable part of Auburn many many homeless sleeping on park benches or on the River Walk not worth what we pais

Pillows are flat. Bathtub bottom is rounded, not flat. I personally found it hard to shower in. But thats just me. Tv sucked because everytime you turn the channel a woman's voice tells you the channel. So annoying. I'd mute it til I found a channel to watch. Only 2 handicapped parking spots. Refrigerator is in a cabinet. Was extremely hot in the cabinet. Thats probably not a good idea.

The hotel was within walking distance to the Great Falls Balloon Festival. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Finding secure parking was difficult. There was an extra lot, but we didn't see cameras. We were fortunate to find a space closer to the hotel.

Hotel was ok, not in the best area. Parking situation is less than ideal. Not enough parking for guests, ended up down the street in a lot of questionable security.

The beds are a little hard however the all around room and hotel is great. Friendly staff and to our surprise the pool and restaurant was open. We had a great inexpensive dinner. The prices are reasonable depending on what your looking for. The pool is small great for youngsters. And like my daughter said its like cold bath water. Parking was a little hard to find. However when we showed there was beautiful hot air balloons through the sky over hotel.
