Way overpriced for the quality of the facility. Wasn’t clean and just looked run down. Would never pay that price knowing the conditions the place was in. You also can hear everyone in the rooms and hallways around you. Terrible

It was pretty quiet.!…the staff was very welcoming…and I was accommodated when something in my suite wasn’t working.!

It was a bit dirty..and out dated. It needs an upgrade.!

I was not given any breakfast options but we brought our own and were able to eat in the room.

Room was adequate and was clean. I mentioned to front desk the air conditioner was leaking and the manager ??? said it was just condensation. The floor was very wet for the entire stay. (Not just condensation),

Upon arrival it seemed the lobby was over scented. Not gonna say they were covering up something but it was so strong it nearly caused me an asthma attack. Scent for people with asthma can be a trigger and should be more minimal as it does affect us

They let the people that was there before us, keep that room for another night, even though they knew we were coming and didn't call to tell me or anything.

Was charged one price then a few days later that was removed from my bank and 1 separate higher charge was posted to my account along with another smaller charge which caused an overdraft. Still no explanation but not sure if the cause was due to booking.com or the hotel. Either way not too happy

The day I checked out I noticed flea bites on my feet and ankles. I saw a lot of dogs during my stay. Room 236 needs to be fumigated. Hair everywhere in the room. TV remote did not work. Alarm clock did not work.

Though the place is old and worn I am giving it 4 Stars. It is clean and the room was spacious with a full kitchen. Nice coffee pot - especially for those who carry their own filters and coffee! The clerk was super nice, he went to the room to turn on the heat for me. BTW its the old wall unit - at least in the room I had stayed in - Ask when you check in! Theis wasnt what I prefer but it grew on me - a good value for the price.

The property is not being taken care of. A building can be old but still it needs to be clean and well-maintained.

My room was filthy and covered in dust, including the AC unit. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. We complained about it, and they gave us another room that wasn’t as bad as the first one, but it was still dirty. At this point, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the room ourselves because we noticed that no matter where they moved us, the room would still be dirty. The front desk said that it was because the building was old, but I explained that I’m allergic to dust. Her response was “Oh, bless your heart,” which was completely rude. There is no excuse for a building to be old and not keep it clean. It definitely doesn’t make sense. A building can be old, but it still needs to be clean and well-maintained. This was definitely the worst stay of my life. I don’t recommend staying here. We did because we’re not from here and we looked online, and the pictures look decent for a short visit to the area, but the photos and in-person are way different.

We loved the location of the hotel. We were five minutes away from where our conference was.

The hotel is very run down and dirty. Our room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. It definitely needed a deep cleaning. It’s also very run down and in need of a remodel. We were supposed to have a queen room with a living room. In the living room there was a bed instead. We also asked for a chair or 2 too go with our dinning room table and they never showed up like they said they would. There were only 2 forks in the kitchen. The dishes were all mismatched. The bedding was very worn. There was mold in the bathroom. Also one of the bathroom towel hooks fell off while we were there. The staff really just didn’t seem to care that we had any concerns. Since I was traveling for work I needed an invoice and had to ask 3 times to get that. I’ll never stay here agian.

I've stayed at this hotel over a dozen times in the past couple of years and have been effusive in my praise of it. It had become our go to place to stay in Nashville when I have to make my monthly trips for treatment at Vanderbilt. I learned it has recently been purchased in a lot of 38 properties and is now franchisee-managed. The change isn't positive. None of the many people I've become acquainted with on the staff were working there anymore. There's no longer a friendly greeting at the front desk and we find the place now lacking.

I prepaid for a one bedroom queen suite & was there at 4pm to check-in. I was given a standard room instead & wasn't offered a rate adjustment for the cost difference. Just a lady at the desk telling me that 4 or 5 other folks were going to be equally upset as if that made anything better. The room was missing furniture, coffee maker was broken and bulbs were missing in the bedside lamps. Staff remedied those issues. There is no longer coffee & tea available in the fitness area as has been the case for years and one of the conveniences that made this a great place to stay previously. You've lost a loyal customer and all of my referrals.

It provided what I needed for that stay But My bank account was charged the deposit yet there was no damage or excessive use.

William at the Front desk was very friendly and always has a smile. Very knowledgeable! The rooms and housekeeping staff are really great and everything you need is available for the asking thanks to the Housekeeping Manager Kindra!!! She seems to be everywhere doing everything! A very hard worker!! My stay was amazing with no complaints! Josh the overnight front desk clerk is such a treat and always has a smile and a kind word. Couldn’t ask for a nicer staff! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else while in Brentwood TN!

The walls were very thin you could hear dog barking that lived there and just had trouble sleeping because the people in rooms around us. You could hear every single thing.

Shakelle at the front desk took good care of us and made check-in a breeze. They've been doing some remodeling the last several months & I noticed that the office chairs in the room are new, wider and have working hydraulics. Much nicer. Bed was firm and comfortable. Hot coffee & tea is available 24/7 in the gym/laundry area as well as a coffee maker in the room. Like having a full size fridge and kitchen. Even when ordering in it's nice to have real plates and utensils to use. Great value for the money.

I thought i picked a decent hotel based on high reviews over other similar competitors in the area, but it turned out like Motel 6 or 8 ... 1. Room#132: 2/5 - looks old and abit smelly. Bed is ok, at least not squeaky or springy. Bedding sheets seem clean but not smelled fragrant. A closet door jam cracks... 2. Bathroom: 2/5 - dirty floor with hair and crumbs all over, cracks, rust. May be a dollar store shower head... no air vent... so fogged up after a shower. I only wore barefoot before the shower so after stepping in a wet tub, I saw my blackened foot stain in the tub so you can get an idea of how dirty the floor is... linens seem clean but thin and cheap material. The only nice thing is the sink and counter top is updated. 3. Kitchenette: 3/5 - furnished enough for light cooking. 4. Noise: 1/5 - besides the a/c blowing noise, and constant elevator engine noises next door, and also may be from the electrical room. So if you are a light sleeper, make sure not to get room#132 at all cost. 5. Check-in: 3/5 - the check-in was easy but not allowed to check-in until 4pm which is very inconvenient. 6. The premise: 2/5 - just so so, at least neither smelly thru out the hallways nor exciting to stay... we were waiting in the lobby for check-in, a couple of employees smoked right outside of the front doors about 8' away... so you get all the smoke when the door is open... another employee complained really loud about doing double works...like one person doing 2 jobs...

Gave this stay 3 stars. I love the area. It’s safe and, eateries and grocery stores are within walking distance. They have a one time deposit of $25 which I think is reasonable instead of charging a deposit for each day. It was only 5 minutes from my destination. The view from the room was nice and private where you just saw greenery and hills that made it feel like you were staying in a log cabin. However, the hotel smelled musty and old but the room was fairly clean. The hotel is so outdated but the price was good. The pictures online are photoshopped and make the hotel look newer than it actually is.

The photos were misleading. In addition, nothing on the website mentioned the hotel was under construction. The hotel also was pet friendly which triggered my allergies and I did not get any sleep for 2 nights. All hotels should post Pet Friendly under their name on the site. So travelers are aware.

Poorest experience in my 25 years of travel. Booked 3 rooms for family to stay. For starter no one's AC unites worked correctly. My room required a maintenance guy to install a 3-foot extension unit at 10:30p. My brothers-in-law room AC cut off after 5 min and never came back on. The front desk moved us to different rooms, and EVERY room experienced the exact same issues. The only options we were given at 11:30p was "you can check out or wait till 2a for Maintenace repair man to show". The only way for a comfortable sleep was to open a window... but wait, the window has NO SCREEN (safety hazard for a 3rd floor room). Upon my final trip to the front desk I was told the following, "...what do you think I'm engineering and we just have screens laying around back here?" Beyond frustrated I asked for the managers name and emailed her that evening. Still NO ONE has contacted me, replied to my email or even acknowledged the issues my family experienced. DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT BOOK THIS FACILITY

Comfortable, spacious room. Friendly staff. Outside grounds are well kept. Location is quiet and feels very safe. Just behind the building there's a greenbelt with paved trail leading to a park at each end.

Common areas are shabby, need new carpet, and were not real clean. Room was clean enough, but don't look too closely in the corners.

Staff and front desk were hard to get ahold of. Room didn’t look like the image’s online. Pretty outdated.

Location was great. The front staff were fantastic, helpful and attentive! The room cleanliness was the downfall to an otherwise great facility. Dog hair everywhere, the floor didn’t look like it was swept or washed from the previous guests. Window was grimy as was the A/C unit. A/C was not very efficient at keeping the room cool.

The room was wet, moldy, and smelled. I have tried contacting the hotel even immediately after the transaction the wrong card number (my personal when it should have been my business card) was used. It should not have even went through because the billing address was not correct. Several weeks of trying to get assistance and it was nothing but rudeness. I understand policies and how hard customer service can be. I was very professional and nice! They refused to help and told me I would not receive a refund even if I booked another room. After working all day then driving 7 hours, for my safety, I tried calling Sonesta to see if I was able to check in on Saturday instead of Friday but was on hold for so long, I booked a room just north of Nashville because I was exhausted... After being on hold for over an hour, hanging up and calling back 30 minutes later (Figured they were just overly busy). I called back to let Sonesta know that I would not be there Friday night but would arrive Saturday. No over the phone check in I had to drive another hour to check in to keep my reservation. So not only did I lose gas, but I also just lost another $300 for a room I just booked. I approach the room hoping I could just sleep. WRONG! The room was wet, smelled like mold, and sure enough the bedding was wet. Mold along the wall by the a/c unit. Wet spots with mold on the ceiling. I ended up sleeping in my vehicle and out hundreds of dollars out of my own pocket. And now sick because I'm highly allergic to mold. I will not be visiting back.

Room smelled like smoke-

Like: restaurants nearby , friendly staff, large studio room, clean rooms bathroom with good water pressure. Property has a fitness and snack center but I did not use either. Dislike: property is dated and shows sign of wear on carpet , cabinets, doord and the like. Room had a wet smell initially , but disappeared after running the a/c. For the price and location, I would stay again.

Overall dingy and not well maintained. Door threshhold missing, carpet in hall worn/dirty. Needs serious maintenance. Parking access - one door in and out. Minimal handicap parking. No additional doors to go in and out.
