The facilities are not as complete or to the standard for the hotel it seems, especially the swimming pool and pool bar.

The location and this was the first hotel we stayed when we emigrated from UK to Australia transiting via Singapore 20years ago.

Some staffs were friendly and some not. But following feedback to the Manager there was huge improvement. Not just towards us but others too. Great job.

The staffs were wonderful- the location was superb- walk everywhere and malls- very well connected by mrt. The food and service at club lounge was superb - you were welcome and can feel the sincerity.

If you dont pay deposit- your room service cannot be charged to the room- even you have ticked charge to the room. Me and hb was out- called room service for my daughters - the man insisted my daughters to pay at that moment- she ended up calling me and i told the guy i will pay when come back to hotel- he said must pay by 9.30- at reception - we came back before 9.30 cut short my dinner with my hb - he is no where and we paid to reception which obviously open 24 hrs and not by 9.30. This single event is unfortunate for a 5 star hotel which have all top qualities.

We particularly enjoyed the TWG tea. Always nice to be able to enjoy a cup of serious high quality tea after a day out.

We stayed in Room 1439. The only issue was the shower water turner. When turning off the handheld option, it was not apparent if the shower had been completely turned off. So one would keep turning. And suddenly it transitioned to the overhead fixed shower option. Eventually after the third shower, one could get used to adjusting the switch off. But hey, there must be better water tap fittings in the market than this !! But perhaps this issue was only in our room.

We were fortunate to have access to the Executive Lounge on the 15th Floor. A wonderful quiet place for a leisurely breakfast. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious.

For some reason, they decided they didn't need to mention at check-in that renovations - involving wall work - start at the hotel first thing every morning.

The hotel is located in a vey convenient area for leisure travelers to Singapore. Good shopping and close to MRT stations. Breakfast is excellent.

I couldn't think of any thing related to hotel that I did not like.

We had such a wonderful stay at Royal Plaza on Scotts. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome and special. It is the little personal touches and thoughtful service that really make a hotel stay memorable. A very special mention must go to Dewi Rizki from Guest Relations. She is an absolute gem and a real credit to the hotel. Her warmth, kindness and genuine care made our stay even more special. Thank you to Dewi and the entire team for such a lovely experience. This is the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back.

La struttura è in ottima posizione, al centro della vita commerciale di Singapore. Abbiamo preso una camera con accesso alla lounge; purtroppo per motivi di tempo non siamo riusciti a sfruttare granchè dei servizi offerti, ma quel poco di cui abbiamo usufruito prometteva comunque bene. Camera ampia, comoda, anche il bagno, con doccia molto funzionale e vasca, è di ottimo livello.

Exceptional staff, very professional, clearly well trained and genuinely friendly. Breakfast was fantastic.

The property's location is excellent, offering convenient access to key attractions and amenities. The dinner buffet was undoubtedly one of the finest available in the city, featuring an impressive selection and exceptional quality. The breakfast buffet was also enjoyable; however, the menu remained largely unchanged throughout our four-night stay, and a greater variety would have enhanced the experience. A special commendation goes to Katrina, the Duty Manager, whose professionalism and commitment to guest satisfaction significantly improved our stay. Unfortunately, our arrival experience was disappointing. Despite being charged an additional fee for early check-in, the reception team was unable to allocate a room and kept us waiting until late in the evening, causing considerable inconvenience and discomfort for our family. Katrina handled the situation with remarkable transparency, empathy, and efficiency. She candidly explained the challenges faced by the hotel, addressed our concerns proactively, and arranged a temporary room to ensure our family was comfortable while a permanent solution was being organized. Her exceptional customer service transformed what had become a frustrating experience into a positive one. Had Katrina not intervened, we were seriously considering requesting a full refund and relocating to an alternative property. Her professionalism, honesty, and genuine care for guests deserve special recognition and are a credit to the hotel.

Unfortunately, my initial experience with the hotel fell significantly short of the standards one would expect from a five-star property. Prior to arrival, I had specifically requested an early check-in and adjoining rooms, both of which were acknowledged by the hotel. However, neither commitment was honored upon arrival. Despite being charged an additional fee for early check-in at the reception desk, one of the rooms was not made available. I spent several hours in the lobby repeatedly following up with the reception team, whom I recall as Gadafi and Rose (apologies if the names are not entirely accurate). Throughout the day, I was repeatedly advised to return in another 30 minutes or an hour, with no definitive resolution provided. Eventually, after growing weary of waiting, I left the hotel briefly to freshen up. To my astonishment, upon returning at approximately 7:00 PM, well after the official check-in time of 2:00 PM, the room was still not ready. Communication from the reception team lacked transparency, and I was repeatedly informed that the hotel was fully occupied and that the king-size room I had reserved was unavailable. This was highly disappointing and created a very poor first impression of the property. Furthermore, the reception area offered limited seating for waiting guests, and the check-in process itself was exceptionally slow. Each time I sought an update, I had to rejoin the queue and wait considerable periods before being attended to. A special note of appreciation must be given to Katrina, the Duty Manager, whose professionalism, honesty, and guest-centric approach ultimately salvaged the situation. She provided a candid explanation of the challenges the hotel was facing, addressed our concerns with empathy, and arranged a temporary room to ensure my family could be accommodated comfortably. Her intervention transformed what was becoming an extremely frustrating experience into a manageable one.

Staff were very friendly . We went with 2 kids booked 1 lux room with 2 queen bed , they upgraded us to 2 interconnecting rooms with kids bunk for free. 😎

Het extra bed was nog niet geïnstalleerd toen we incheckten, tewijl ik dat toch een aantal dagen van te voren besproken heb met het hotel.

L'hôtel est parfaitement situé dans le quartier très commerçant de Singapour, proche d'une station du MRT, avec un bon choix de restaurations tout autour. La chambre est totalement fonctionnelle, bonne literie. Salle de bain bien équipée.

Breakfast was exceptional. All staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean.

Check in process. Our bags were nearly out into a taxi that was leaving when we arrived as bags weren’t brought up straight into the hotel straight away when we arrived. Room was very slow to be ready for some reason so we had late check in. But I still enjoyed our experience and will recommend to others.

Très peu d'explications en arrivant de la part de la réception et personnel peu aimable. Chambres qui sentent le renfermé et l'humidité Lit d'appoint en mauvaise état et une petite couverture en laine sans drap dessus (notre fils a 15 ans) Très très cher pour ce que c'est. Nous avons fait beaucoup d'hôtels mais celui-ci ne mérite pas 5 étoiles.
