We enjoy our stay at the Hampton Inn because it is clean and the staff are great. The location is perfect for travel to YVR.

Great location for closenes to airport. Super nice staff, gave us the room in the morning although check in was at 16:00. Another bonus feature is a free airport shuttle (which we used at 05:30 in the morning).

This was very near the airport with shuttle service. Friendly reception staff. pretty decent breakfast.

The price in $US was outrageous for a Hampton property. I think I overheard what others were being charged, which sounded like much less than what we were charged through Booking.com - BUT I cannot be certain; it was the end of a trip and I didn't have the energy to dig into it.

Great Stay

Handy for the airport with convenient shuttle service, comfy beds, great shower. The staff were really helpful. Also close to the station into vancouver or to the airport and plenty of restaurants/ food options nearby.

Well, the hotel was going through a lot of renovations. Our room was great, one of the remodeled ones. Lobby was a mess and felt sorry for the front desk person sitting at a card table. Having said that staff was great, van driver on the way from the airport was an eagle and the staff were all professional, especially given the renovations. Breakfast was fine and the staff took care of business clearing tables and taking care of quests. Even with the challenges, the team there were great.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The location is outstanding. It is only about a 5-minute walk to the Bridgeport SkyTrain Station, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and a large supermarket is conveniently located across the street. Getting around Vancouver and Richmond was extremely easy. The complimentary 14-seat airport shuttle was reliable and well organized. Both the airport pick-up and drop-off were punctual, making our travel completely stress-free. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. It offered a good selection of Western-style hot and cold items, and everything was fresh and well prepared. The facilities and overall service were exactly what we have come to expect from a Hilton property—professional, comfortable, and consistently excellent. Although we are Hilton Diamond members, we booked a non-refundable reservation through a third-party platform because hotels during the FIFA World Cup period were almost fully booked four months in advance, and we wanted to secure our itinerary. Normally, third-party reservations are not eligible for elite member benefits. However, after communicating with the hotel before our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to receive an early check-in. A very special thank you goes to Front Desk Supervisor Tammy Fisher. She was exceptionally warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. At check-out, she also made special arrangements to help us store our luggage. This was incredibly helpful because we planned to use this hotel as our base while traveling to several destinations and returning multiple times during our trip. Being able to leave some of our belongings at the hotel greatly simplified our travel plans, and we truly appreciated her kindness and flexibility. We sincerely thank Tammy and the entire hotel team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Vancouver area. Hilton elite members should also consider staying here—even if booking through a third-party platform—because the hotel genuinely values its guests and provides outstanding hospitality.

Great place to stay! Clean rooms. Loved that there was a shuttle provided from airport to the hotel, but it would have been much better to also have a shuttle service included to take us to the cruise port! Breakfast was great! Highly recommend!

Need a complimentary shuttle to cruise port. That would be an extra perk that would boost reservations. I felt like hotel prices were higher due to FIFA World Cup being in town.

We were pre-warned there was work going on but the impact on reception/breakfast services and chemical/paint/resin? fumes from work ops throughout rest of hotel was grim. Felt sorry for the staff trying to keep the front of house going.

Room 507, one night Brief stay before international flight. The good: Location proximity to YVR, room was clean, wifi worked, staff was friendly, bed ok, shower was interesting with dual heads. The bad: Lobby under renovation, not functional. Parking felt very tight. Room had some noise from outside, despite being at the end of the hallway and top floor. Pillows were abominal, get new pillows... Paid $300/night, stop gouging because of the World cup. Might stay again because of it being the only Hilton property near the airport.

Few things needed attention in the room. Closet door needs repaired, shower door doesn’t stay closed (adjustment needed), there was what looked like black mold in the corners of the shower door. Mattress is old. They do NOT have flavored creamer!!!! Not a place I’d stay at again.

Hotel is verouderd. De ontbijtruimte werd verbouwd doordat er slechts een beperkt ontbijt aanbod was en niet echt een gezellige ruimte om te ontbijten.

Im Hotel fanden Renovierungsarbeiten statt, die zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung (eine Woche vorher) NICHT angegeben waren. Wir hatten noch einen ganzen Tag Zeit um Vancouver anzusehen bevor wir zum Flughafen mussten und hätten unser Gepäck im Hotel deponiert. Dies war durch die Renovierung nicht möglich. Eine recht unfreundliche und überforderte Person an der „Rezeption“ war auch nicht bereit eine Lösung zu finden. Das Frühstück wurde im Eingangsbereich zwischen wartenden und Arbeitern angeboten.

Under renovations is a state that I understand, but they should’ve been better prepared. Breakfast was a ‘carry to your room’ thing.. but no trays, boxes or bags! The rooms were dusty due to renos as well. However, the price and convenience are just as good as I remember from past visits. Parking is an added bonus.

Location, price and accommodation were all ideal

Even though there was construction on the main entrance, everything in my room was clean and prepared. I really liked how easy checkin was and that they had my name on the tv in my room welcoming me! I also really liked the use of texting me to make sure I had everything that I needed. That is a must practice that should become normal!!! I was able to reach out and ask in advance about parking my vehicle, and whether they had any handicapped spots.

there's a couple of trades things that need to be fixed in room 416, not major but still need doing. Bathroom shower door is backwards. door tracks need to be reversed to stop water leakage onto floor. Little reading light is not working on one Side of the king size beds, and the plug in sockets are so loose that my charger kept falling out.

Supposed to be a Hilton Hotel! Doing renovations, we can wear that. Eating off paper plates, drinking from paper cups, cutlery is Bamboo, eight tables to sit at for breakfast! For the amount of people staying here, more chance of winning lottery than getting a seat. No water glass or any drinking glass or real coffee cup in your room. Would not stay here again. Sorry Hilton this has turned us off staying at any of your Hotels.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn Richmond. The staff were very friendly & very helpful. The staff always make a hotel better.

Great location for walking distance to Story Cafe, great happy hour. Perfect spot for an overnighter when catching an early morning flight. We did the bag breakfast and they were really good muffins and yogurt, coffee was available. Used the small exercise room, was sufficient for cardio. Nicely furnished room had a chaise lounger. The bathroom was really nice. This will be my go to when flying out of Vancouver.

None of the rooms would have a view, not necessary for our type of stay though.

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn before. It is a good spot to spend a night before an early flight out of YVR. Significantly less expensive than some competitors. We arrived early at check-in and were greeted with the magic words: Your room is ready. Big Bonus. On arrival, we called for the shuttle from YVR to the Hampton Inn. The shuttle arrived very quickly. We were meeting friends for dinner at the River Rock Casino. Turned out to be an easy walk.

There was construction in the area where breakfast is typically served. The lobby made for cosy quarters for eating our breakfast. We would have stayed at the Hampton Inn anyway, but should have been advised before booking.

I booked this place because Hampton Inn always have free hot breakfast with waffles. There was different hot meat daily for breakfast. Had bacon one day and sausage another day. I tried the gym too which was really small. There was limited free weights and no bench. Location is close to the train station, which is 4 blocks away. My room was clean and the shower had good pressure. Price was fair and will definitely stay again.

The location was very close to the airport.

The hotel windows need to be upgraded, you could hear traffic and planes flying over. The bed mattress was very old and uncomfortable. The breakfast was not good . Don't recommend to anyone to stay.

Not much. The front desk clerk Shiva was friendly and the transfer from/to airport went smoothly.

Many things! It’s under construction so there was lots of noise, no real breakfast room, and no hot food for breakfast. No reduction in rates either! We did not get the room type we booked and paid for : instead of a King size we were put in a Double Queen, with no explanation, and no room to move around. The heating/ cooling system was set up to have the fan blowing air all the time - across the beds! The only way to stop it, we were told, was to pull the plug on the unit and have no heating at all. Furnishings were poor quality; cleaning was sketchy; the bedding flimsy. And to top it all off, the only way to get free WiFi was to sign up for the Hilton loyalty program. We will NOT be loyal guests- it was a big mistake to spend this much money on such a poor quality hotel.

Bed was comfortable.

Sliding barn door on bathroom had no lock and was hard to keep it closed. Also Reno’s going on downstairs limited lobby space.

It was conveniently close to the freeway and stores and restaurants.

The parking was terrible! I had to park far away from the only entrance that was open. I didn't feel safe walking alone in the dark. I realized there was construction,but maybe have a security guard.

Very close to Vancouver Airport, with half-hourly free shuttle service made it a great location for an overnight stop between international and domestic flights. Good breakfast included. Clean, nice rooms, friendly staff.

My wife wanted a soak in a tub after our 20-hour travel day, but they only have showers in the rooms. On the other hand, the showers are excellent- walk-in glass wall custom tile showers with great pressure and fixtures. So definitely not a reason to look elsewhere!

The Breakfast was the best part. I will stay here again for that reason.

We also lost a beloved stuffed animal that belonged to my 2 year old. They looked in the room and shipped it to my house (at my expense). In the end, it was not ours, so that was a bit of a let down. However, I appreciate that they did put in some extra effort.

Shuttle picked us up after a very long flight and we had a very easy check in Our room was clean comfortable and spacious. The bed was excellent comfortable, shower hard lots of hot water . Breakfast was delicious Staff friendly and very helpful as we had to get to the ferry the next day. Thank you
