As usual, good reception staff and clean room. Some bathroom fittings had been upgraded which was nice.

I did not want to put this in a review, but feel that as I have not had a response from the revue that the hotel asked from me, I have to tell it like it is. We have always had a good experience with the Abercorn. Close to the airport, with a functioning shuttle and basic but good breakast. Clean. We were there after a very long Europe flight and so were tired but I could not get over the fact that there were a couple of long human hairs on the bottom sheet partially covered by the pillow. I was a little concerned about the cleanliness of the bottom sheet as it looked fairly creased. So not sure if the hotel is concerned at all as they have not responded after 48 hours.

I liked the online description but the reality was quite different

I wasn’t shown how to use the clock and the coffee maker, nor was I given the location of the ice machine. The online description mentioned a restaurant, but I wasn’t told that no one there spoke English! The breakfast buffet was sub standard; hard boiled eggs…really!!! The room was very overpriced.

Reasonably priced. Our room was a 2 room suite with a kitchen, it was clean and inviting. Our kids room was just a single room with 2 beds, same price, which was odd, but fit the bill for the overnight stay. Across the street from Costco which was handy. Close to the Vancouver Night Market and Casino. 20-30 uber ride to the cruise terminal. Shuttle driver was excellent!!

Lobby and area was dated, breakfast was pretty lame even for a free breakfast.

The location was excellent and the parking was free.

The breakfast was quite basic but it was adequate and very fresh. Staff were lovely and polite and kept everything topped up regularly. Odd thing was using paper cups & wooden cutlery!

Wir hatten das Hotel für 2 Nächte am Start unserer Reise gebucht und für 3 auf der Rückreise. Ausschlaggebend waren bei der Buchung Nähe zum Flughafen, zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und kostenloser Parkplatz. Das war alles perfekt.

Von unserem 1.Aufenthalt waren wir sehr enttäuscht: der Lärm von der Straße war extrem zu hören und unsere Nächte schlaflos. Der Teppich ekelhaft verdreckt. Die Steckdosen in Bettnähe waren hinter den nicht verrückbaren Betten und daher nicht zu benutzen. Da mein Mann auf ein Schlafapnoegerät angewiesen ist, haben wir an der Hotelrezeption um eine Verlängerungsschnur gebeten, aber das Personal war nicht hilfsbereit und behauptete alle Zimmer wären gleich geschnitten und wir sollten uns ein Kabel in der Stadt kaufen. Sehr enttäuschend !! Für unseren 2. Aufenthalt 14 Tage später hatten wir schon gebucht und bezahlt und siehe da: unser Zimmer war zwar viel kleiner, aber schallisoliert und ruhig, der Teppich sauber und auf jeder Seite des Bettes erreichbare Steckdosen. Das war dann doch sehr erfreulich und alles besser. Sehr merkwürdig, dass es beim 1. Aufenthalt alles nicht machbar war,

Der Schrank, in dem sich der Kühlschrank befindet ging nicht richtig auf. Jedes Mal müssten wir das Scharnier hin und her drücken.

The washroom down stairs are not properly clean. No maintenance in the building and the receptionist are not professional dealing with costumers.

The shower was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and tbere was plenty of storage in the room. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was all fresh and tasty. We enjoyed it.

The furniture in the room wasn't in very good condition, the tap in the bathroom wouldn't stay on and there was no milk provided in the room to use when making a hot drink.

Smelled bad in halls and especially elevator. Room was extremely dated and worn out. Some lights didn't work, shower did not get hot.

I arrived in the evening and left early in the morning. It was close to the airport and with a shuttle. It served my purpose.

We arrived in the middle of the night and without any luggage due to missing a flight. But the guy on the front desk was really accommodating even giving us some toothpaste! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The shuttle service to the airport is a bonus. Fabulous breakfast buffet too.

This is an older style motel - decorated in 'Scots Baronial' style of a type (ironically) increasingly rare in Scotland itself, but actually rather charming in this context. The Room was a bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable and had all the facilities. The location is very handy for the Airport - and there are some useful shops / eateries nearby. The Free Airport shuttle is a bonus

Although the hotel is older, it is well maintained, with a clean room and bathroom and no unpleasant old-building smell. The location near the airport was convenient, and the free airport shuttle, amazing breakfast, fast check-in and check-out, and large free parking lot were great.

The elevator buttons need to be replaced, and the furniture is quite vintage. The airport shuttle also only arrived after calling the hotel.

Für eine Nacht alles ok, eben ein klassisches Flughafenhotel. Frühstück war halt so, wie man es in Nordamerika erwartet.

Centrale ligging redelijk in de buurt van de luchthaven. Hotel beschikt over een luchthaven shuttle. Ook beschikt het hotel over kosteloze parkeerplaatsen. Ontbijt was goed te noemen.

Mala atención en la recepción turno tarde/noche. Estuvimos 3 días sin agua caliente sin respuesta ni solución por parte del gerente, quien jamás nos atendió. Especial maltrato por el recepcionista Shane del turno noche. No tuvimos ningún tipo de compensación por los tres días de baño con sólo agua fría.

The young assistant did her best to help us, but being the only staff member, she could not assist is.

The fact that we paid for 4 people with three beds,and did NOT get that! The supposed pull out bed, did Not pull out. It is a single couch, that the hotel person tried to tell us was a pull out ( but could not show us in our room, as she was the only person on duty. I have owned many pull out beds and the advertised pull out bed was NOT a pill out bed. As we had had a long 20 hoursflight, it was 8.30pm, we accepted the situation and asked for bedding for the couch, as my 24 year old daughter volunteered to sleep on it. Als we were provided with one sheet, we returned to the front desk to ask for a pillow blanket and a cover sheet. The room was NOT SET UP FOR 4 PEOPLE.... but two. Not enough towels, went bank down again! First person showered... we discovered... not enough shower shampoo, soap etc for 4 people!... back downstairs again!!!! Beds were comfy. Room was clean. Management, not the young girl at the reception desk, need a good kick up the BUTT!!! Organisition is poor and the advertised room is only a two bed, NOT THREE!!! We feel cheated!!!! Thankfully we had hot water... other parts of the hotel(rooms)... did not!! We will never stay there again!!!!!

The bathroom was dirty with previous guests hair all over the bathroom.

The breakfast was awful. Hot dogs cut up as sausages and toasters that would not brown your bread let alone toast it. Not sure what type of hard boiled eggs but they didn't taste like chicken eggs.

Location was 10 minute walk to Skytrain and buses. Short walking distance to fast food, restaurants, 7-11, and a Costco. Free Shuttle to and from Airport. Water pressure was great!

Breakfast was okay. What I thought was sausage, was a cut up hot dog. No other meat option. The rest was OK. Paint on ceiling of room was peeling off. Lamp had blown bulb and was broken between base and shade. No view to speak of. Just parking lot and road, in front and in back of hotel. Had to hold handle for a bit to get toilet to flush.

Basic, maar nette kamers. Deze ligging gekozen omwille van de dichtbijheid van ons autoverhuurbedrijf. Anders zou ik deze locatie niet aanraden. Vlak aan een drukke weg, pal onder de aanvliegroute van de vliegtuigen. Dus best wat geluidshinder. Echter wel vriendelijk personeel, zeker Phoh, die ons tijdens de pause van de shuttledienst toch van de luchthaven naar het hotel bracht. Voldoende keuze bij het ontbijt, maar wel te weinig ruimte voor alle gasten zodat er buiten de eetruimte een wachtrij stond en je dus niet echt het gevoel had rustig te kunnen eten. Parking vlak voor de deur. Net als een bushalte. Afstand naar Vancouver met de bus is een half uur. De skytrain ligt op een kwartiertje stappen van het hotel.

Er viel niet echt iets tegen, als doorreishotel kan dit zeker wel.

The staff was very responsive to the air conditioning problem. Their shuttle service and shuttle drive in particular was very helpful in getting us to the airport.

The breakfast was subpar. We did not even use it on the second day. We were placed in a room that had non-working air Conditioning. The staff did get us moved to a room with working air conditioning. Overall, the hotel is very dated and run down. General cleaning of room, towels, and bedding was acceptable, however, detailed cleaning does not appear to have been done for years.

Le personnel n’est pas aimable, la chambre n’était pas vraiment propre (des cheveux partout) et très vétuste, aucune serviette d’avance ni de papier toilettes, pas de tapis de bain…Le petit-déjeuner est de piètre qualité. Vu le prix payé, on s’attendait à autre chose. C’est un hôtel bas de gamme.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. On the first day, we found that the bed in our room was not properly clean. The top sheet was removable, and underneath it, the blanket had visible stains, including what appeared to be blood spots. We also found a bug on the blanket. On top of that, the shower was clogged, and the A/C was extremely noisy, making it very difficult to sleep. On the second day, the hot water stopped working and remained unavailable for almost 30 hours. We informed the front desk several times, but we were repeatedly told that it would be fixed soon. The water was extremely cold, to the point where even taking a cold shower was uncomfortable. This issue significantly affected our stay and ruined our plans for those days. On our last day, since the hot water still had not been fixed—a basic requirement for any hotel—we were finally moved to another room. Unfortunately, the problems continued. In the new room, the safe box was not working. A staff member came to try to fix it and spent around 30 minutes, but ultimately said he was unable to repair it and would come back later. Overall, we had a very poor experience at this hotel. The cleanliness issues, maintenance problems, lack of hot water, excessive A/C noise, and slow response to our complaints made our four-night stay extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel.

Es war schmutzig, als wir den Zettel zum reinigen des Zimmer raus gehängt habe wurde es leider ignoriert Das Bad war eine Katastrophe, zwei Tage hatten wir kein warmes Wasser wir waren mit unseren Problemen bei der Rezeption aber dort konnte man uns auch nicht helfen, sie wirkten hilflos Der Höhepunkt war das Mäusekot in unserem Zimmer war, das war echt ekelig, wir haben es sauber gemacht und morgens war neuer Mäusekot da, rund um unser Bett und Taschen

Good option for one night near the airport. It’s an older, basic hotel, but affordable considering Canadian prices. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

No me gustó nada. Estaba sucio, descuidado, viejo y el personal era desagradable. De hecho, teníamos una reserva hecha, nos dieron habitaciones para menos personas y nos dijeron que nos aguantáramos. Q era culpa nuestra por hacer la reserva en booking (que ellos no tienen la información) que me quejara a booking y que si no me gustaba que me fuese a otro hotel… increíble, jamás me había pasado.

Aircon in the room was so old and noisy we had to turn it off. The shower head was so low that we had to crouch down to get under it - we are both average height.

Close to the airport, complementary shuttle, comfy bed, and the very classy traditional Japanese restaurant on site was excellent. More reasonably priced than others in the area. Short walk to Michael’s and the place where I dropped of my rental car.

My flight was too early to take advantage of the breakfast but they did offer to pack one for me.

Maybe three stars a few years ago. The " being green" now means rooms are not made daily.

The room was very grungy. The bedding was old ,and a small sheet was used for the mattress and she didn’t even cover it. , old sheets and bedspread that look like it was dirty the bathroom is disgusting mould all around the bathtub dirt behind the sink and around the toilet. The towels are all very old as well . It’s in desperate need of a upgrade if they’re going to charge premium price.

Arrived late 10.30pm - communication told me to call the hotel when I was at shuttle pick up area. Made numerous calls to the number provided and no one answered. Eventually a shuttle came. Dropped off with 3-4 other patrons. No one at reception but you could hear someone in back room. Had to call out to get attention to be served.
