Everyone from the front desk to the breakfast staff was outstanding. I highly recommended this hotel. The room was very clean, modern with ample supplies. I look forward to staying at this location again when in the area.

!Overall, I am happy. However, I have a couple of small issues: the A/C is a bit noisy, and I had to tap on the side to quiet it down. Also, there is a small leak in the toilet overflow tank, but I fixed that!

Hotel kousek od letiště opodál stanice metra, kterým jste za 20 min v centru Vancouveru. Na severní ameriku velmi čistý pokoj. Pohodlná postel a příjemné zařízení. Velmi rychlé výtahy bez čekání. Check In i check out bez komplikací.

Velmi mizerná snídaně. Odůvodňují ji tím, že je prý "zadarmo". Nic není není zadarmo, je to v ceně a je to jejich špatná vizitka.

Dieses Hotel liegt nur 10 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt und ist ein idealer Übernachtungsort für die erste Nacht nach einem langen Flug. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten bequem und das Personal sehr freundlich. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants.

Staff very helpful- we were able to avail of early check-in and KC on reception helped us with the Richmond shuttle bus, to visit Steveston, by running out and asking the driver to wait for us. Breakfast was adequate, Coffee was available in the lobby 24/7. Airport shuttle was excellent and the hotel was within walking distance to the Bridgeport skytrain stop. Would recommend this hotel

Idealer Übernachtungsort nach einem langen Flug. Das Motel liegt nur 10 Fahrminuten vom Flughafen in Vancouver entfernt. Auch die Verbindung nach Downtown ist gut. Nach nur 10-Gehminuten ist man an der U-Bahnstation. Trotz der Nähe zum Flughafen war es nicht laut. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Personal empfangen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden und die Stellplätze, in der Tiefgarage, sind breit genug.

A short taxi ride from Vancouver Int. Modern and clean. Room was comfortable and the aircon was good.

The hotel has no bar or restaurant for evening meals etc. We had to walk 6 blocks to get to a Dennys (there were other restaurants closer). The neighbourhood isn't the best and there were evidence of homelessness and drugs close by. I wouldn't stay here again sadly.

Cleaned rooms

We used this as a base for a 4 night stay. Initially worried that we were too far from Downtown Vancouver but it wasn’t a problem. 10 min walk to Sky train and then 20 mins to downtown. Also easy access via an uber to so many other areas such as Kitsilano Beach. Hotel was clean, staff were lovely and breakfast was great. If you need to rent a car there are 2 rental places within a 5 min walk. Has a secure car garage. Easy Shuttle from airport.

We recently travelled back from an Alaskan cruise. We wanted some downtime before catching our return flights, so we elected to stay by the airport at the Holiday Inn Express Richmond. This is a very, efficiently, managed hotel for travelers. The location is convenient to the train into town as well as the airport and numerous suburban restaurants. There are free shuttles to the restaurants provided you reserve in advance. The hotel is extra clean. The rooms are ideal for sleeping, and you can choose to use a free "white noise" machine which works well. We stored our luggage safely because our cruise docked early. They also have "grab n go" food for early flights.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Ronald was incredibly helpful and patient. The front desk team, especially Troy, Terry, Tristan, and Oscar, were always friendly, welcoming, and professional. They made me feel valued from check-in to check-out. The service throughout my stay was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I look forward to staying here again.❤️

Stayed at this hote for one night. Very convenient location to the airport (there is a shuttle available). Location is also convenient drive to a large number of restaurants. The world's busiest Costco is across the street. There is a parking garage if you have a car, we were given access for free as we are IHG silver members. There is a free breakfast, but we didn't try it. The room was a good size, bed was comfortable. Bathroom had the standard Dove products. Front desk staff was efficient. There was no noise, even with the close proximity to the airport.

The staff at the Hotel were very friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was spacious and comfortable although the shower lacks water pressure. Otherwise the breakfast was average and although the location is not convenient to most amenities, there is a skytrain station close by and there is a direct line to the CBD (Waterfront station). The shuttle service to and from YVR airport is terrific.

We stayed here a day before leaving on an Alaska cruise. This hotel was perfect. Location is superb. Only ten minute walk from the train and across the street from restaurants and shops in case you’ve forgotten anything. The hotel was extremely clean, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. They have everything you could need if you don’t feel like leaving the hotel. They even have microwaveable meals if you need to have dinner in your room. Toiletries, snacks etc available for purchase. If you do leave there is an excellent sushi restaurant right across the street. This is hands down the best place to stay if you’re headed for a cruise and get in a day early. Couldn’t have been happier.

The location is very good as it’s in Richmond and very near the airport. Also having carpark facilities is so very convenient. The breakfast has really excellent spread despite the small restaurant space. Your breakfast staff are really commendable. The rooms are so spacious & well furnished.

I would love to give a much higher rating if not for what happened to our friend’s room in 518. The toilet bowl was badly choked when they returned in the evening. The staff did not handle the call well & the situation was very mishandled. The couple was not expecting an immediate solution as they understand it was at night. But there was no assurance of a service personnel to be sent in the morning. Instead they were given a rubber plunger to do the clearing themselves. On top of that, the reception staff reminded them that this service is the usual norm for all choking & it was what to expect as this is IHG express. I think this is very unprofessional service for a hotel industry of your country regardless of the class of hotel a customer chooses.

The room itself was comfortable and the shuffle to the airport was fine.However, there is no amenities in this hotel such as a restaurant or a bar and a taxi will be needed to go anywhere nearby, but my biggest gripe is 8 days later and they still have not refunded the deposit they took off me at check.In this is completely unacceptable.They must make millions of dollars holding onto customers money for over a week.

The breakfast was decent. The hotel shuttle on arrival was a 20 minute wait so we paid for a taxi. After a long flight with delays and cancellations we were exhausted and just wanted to check in.

Awful hotel. They allowed previous guest a late checkout, but room not ready by 3 pm check in time. I paid for handicapped room and have mobility issues and staff tried to give me a non handicapped room. I had to wait 20 minutes for room to be ready.

Friendly, reliable, clean, and quiet. The customer service was above and beyond. I accidentally left my laptop behind, and the staff made sure it was safely returned to me, carefully wrapped and in perfect condition. A heartfelt thank you to Terry, Troy, Tristan, Cindy, and Ryan nessand those I forgot, you made my day!

Wir haben hier zwei Nächte vor unserer Weiterreise verbracht. Das Hotel liegt nahe am Flughafen, man ist jedoch mit dem Skytrain dennoch in ca. 25 Minuten in der Stadt. Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Die kleine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer ist super. Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist gut und bietet eine ausreichende Auswahl. An der Rezeption gibt es den ganzen Tag Kaffee oder Tee und abends sogar leckere Cookies. Das Hotel bietet außerdem einen Flughafenshuttle, das ist auch super.

I always stay on this place every time I travelled. This hotel gives me the best comfort and relaxation on travelling thru Vancouver. The Bed is comfy, The suites are big, Noise cancellation is superb, Cleanliness is spotless and the breakfast is nice. This is what you paid for, the quality of service. I will very sure to consider being a member if I have a chance. Overall, It's impressive.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Express Vancouver Airport (Richmond) during a flight connection. Our flight arrived past midnight, and it was such a relief to see the hotel shuttle waiting right as we exited the airport—very convenient and stress-free. Check-in was smooth, and Emily and Raphael were especially warm and welcoming. As Platinum Elite members, we were pleasantly surprised with some thoughtful treats from the snack bar, which made us feel truly valued. The buffet breakfast the next morning was simple but had everything we needed to get our day started. Despite the shuttle being fully booked for our departure, Christian quickly arranged two cabs for our family of five so we could continue our journey without delay. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-managed stay with excellent service throughout. Highly recommended for anyone needing a convenient airport hotel.

We liked the location and proximity to the airport.

We had emailed ahead to let the hotel know we were coming in late on our flight from Cancun and we confirmed the shuttle. Upon a very late arrival we missed the last shuttle at 1:00am. We were VERY frustrated to hear we were to take a Taxi and to be reimbursed up to $25 and we were reassured that it should not be more than this price. Once out at the Taxi pickup the next Taxi pulled up and we jumped in to be told that it was cash and $31 dollars despite it only being about 4km at best. The sign at the Taxi stand said $24 dollars at the MOST for our zone. We were NOT impressed and I will never take a Taxi again at YVR without confirming details prior to entering. We felt CAPTIVE and knew we were not getting our money back from the hotel The driver also did NOT want us to take a photo of our information. It was all VERY shady and made us feel very unnerved after a long day of travel home from Mexico. NEVER again would I plan to arrive with arrangements like this and, again I feel YVR is at fault with allowing practices such as we experienced. It was unpleasant to say the least and it reflected poorly on the Holiday Inn Express as the Taxi did not provide an appropriate receipt with no name etc. We were reimbursed $25 but not the $31 and despite it being only $5.00 it, again, was very uncomfortable for us and left a negative feeling about it all :-(

Kudos to the management for supplying ceramic plates, cups, and metal cutlery at the breakfast service. It was a fresh change from all the hotels that provide only flimsy paper plates and those awful plastic forks and knives.

I originally made a booking at the Holiday Inn Express Richmond, but accidentally booked it for the wrong date and arrived a day early (and at 10:30 pm)! Despite the mix-up, the experience turned out to be incredibly positive thanks to the outstanding service I received. The young man at the front desk around 10:30 pm wasn’t able to accommodate us at that location, but he went above and beyond by calling their sister hotel the Holiday Inn on Cambie Street, to check for availability. Not only did they have a room, but they also honoured the same rate I had originally booked—something I truly appreciated. The Holiday Inn on Cambie is lovely. The rooms are modern, the beds are very comfortable, and it’s nice and quiet. The included breakfast is fantastic as well. We’ve stayed at both Holiday Inns multiple times and will continue to do so whenever we’re flying out for a holiday. A huge thank you to that front desk agent for his initiative, kindness, and exceptional customer service—he truly went above and beyond. Thank you so much!

A last minute need to spend an overnight at YVR prompted me to stay at HIE YVR. The $C300+ rate for what is a $129 hotel was outrageous. When no King bedded room was available, the clerk stated "since you booked a standard room, we can put you in any room we want." I won't be back.
