No sound proofing in the bedrooms, listened to the guy next door snoring all night, so left the TV on and nodded off. The prices in the bar were comical double rum and ginger ale £18.50. Glass of coke and a small Twix £6.50 this is a budget hotel in telford! The pool and sauna area were completely over run, it was a child's play ground. I was advised to book a slot for 7.00pm when closing times. were at 8.15p. Again the staff were lovely however it looked manic, so I left and didn't return... I did book to use these facilities.

Great atmosphere, staff customer focused and helpful. Fantastic value for money. You are dog friendly too. We loved our stay.and would recommend to anyone!

Lack of awareness of gluten free breakfast availability. Attitude of male bar person who was arrogant and didn’t smile once. No safe in our room,even when we were told there was.

Very clean hotel with very polite friendly staff where nothing is to much trouble. The hotel is well equipped with a pool and a Gym which free to use for hotel guests but it is advisable to book in advance at busy times. Very nice lounge area near the bar and a very nice restaurant for breakfast and evening meals but bar meals are also available if you don't want a formal sit down meal. The rooms are really large and well presented having two double beds, Air Conditioning, a very large TV wall mounted, a very clean en-suit and tea and coffee making also ironing board with iron and hair dryer. One of the big pluses is there is plenty of on site parking which is free of charge.

Great location especially for the exhibition centre, lots of cafes and restaurants, even on a sunday. The staff were friendly and helpful any time we spoke to them. The rooms were clean and well equipped.

Maybe a touch noisy from the motorway traffic, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept on but still way better than others!

Location

Breakfast service was poor in that tables were slow to clear and we didn’t have a table for a while. The fruit was frozen. There was no decent TV channel in the room. The air con noise outside the room was loud. The water pressure in the shower was weak. We had a room for 3 but only 2 towels and cups etc.

The hotel was very nicely appointed. It felt fresh, modern and stylish. On arrival you were provided a sweet. It’s a small thing but nicely presented and in packaging made from plants not plastic. The bedroom was a standard double and felt superior. It was spacious and clean and again a high standard of design and comfort. The large possibly 50inch to could stream from your devices and the internet speed was brilliant. The breakfast was good quality with a good selection of options. The bar menu and food was delicious. Fresh and again felt a high standard. Its proximity to the International centre was a two minute walk and very easy to get too. When factored with the hotels free parking this is a brilliant location.

We had a wonderful stay at voco Telford. The room was excellent, the restaurant was lovely, and everything about the hotel was first class. What really made our stay special, however, was the staff, who made us feel incredibly welcome. Magdelena, the Manager, was so helpful and friendly, and we would particularly like to thank Angie in the restaurant. She went above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I had a great stay. Angie is a real credit to your organisation and thoroughly deserves recognition for the exceptional service she provides. Thank you all so much. We would happily stay again and highly recommend the hotel.

Coffee machine in room doesn't make enough. Had to move as no main socket where it's situated. No milk in room. Please put normal instant coffee as a standby.

Staff were friendly I had asked for milk for toddler and they provided for free. Room was clean and bright cause it was on 1st floor. I was provided with good amount of towels for one night stay. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Staff were very friendly and professional. The indoor pool was very clean and the water temperature was just right. There are several places nearby that are great for families with children, such as Wonderland, Exotic zoo, water play areas and park within walking distance.

Rooms were spacious & comfortable. Furnishings were up dated. Bathroom was spacious for four people :) Staff were really helpful & kind, we had brought fresh flowers for a wedding that they kindly kept safe in a fridge for us behind reception. They also arranged an extension to our check out time which we greatly appreciated as we had a late night after the wedding!

For the price it was perfect

The hotel seemed nice and we used the pool however about 2hrs after check in I received a call from the hospital and my mum & dad and niece and nephew had been in a bad car crash and were being taken to John Radcliffe so we had to leave. When I went to tell reception they said there was an early checkout charge which they then went to check and came back delighted to say they’d waive it. At the time I was obviously concerned about my family but I was disappointed not to receive a follow up email reimbursing the breakfast we didn’t have or offering to maybe move our stay to another time (minus a room clean charge perhaps). I also thought the mention of the early checkout fee after I’d said it was for a bad car crash was inappropriate- it almost felt like the man felt he had to say it and felt bad doing so. Just felt like a not very human approach. I’ve stayed in the IHG hotels in both Berlin & Stockholm for work but probably will give them a miss.

Breakfast was superb and there were lots of options to choose from. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Staff at the reception, health club and the restaurant were so friendly and welcoming. This is out 3rd time staying at this hotel and this time it’s much better and the rooms had new decor and really nice throughout. Will definitely come back when visiting Ironbridge and the other places.

Loved the room it was so comfy and nicely decorated. The whole place smelt brand new! The restaurant staff were attentive and accommodating which is what we needed after a long trip. The prices in the restaurant were reasonable and the kids menu was fab. Me and the kids loved watching the birds visit the little waterfall on the patio during our meal. Everyone slept well and we had the most lovely view of the trees out our window which was totally unexpected! Would definitely stay again.

We didn’t get breakfast included in our rate and it was a little pricey to add it for four of us.

This is one of the most hospitable hotels in which we have stayed. It exceeded our expectations by some distance. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and good value. All staff, whether on reception, in the health suite or housekeeping, were friendly and efficient. It was pleasure to stay here. The hotel is only a few minutes drive from the very interesting and scenic Ironbridge UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I had stayed here under its previous name and it has certainly benifited from a revamp. The rooms were improved by new furniture, the bed was really comfortable with good quality bedding and pillows. There was a good enough selection on the lunch menu to find something to like and the same with the breakfast buffet. I used the gym and although not the biggest there was enough for a good work out. For some reason the gym was almost empty, unlike the pool which was very busy.

Biscuits,tea and coffee were not refilled in our room. There was only 1 packet of cookies for 4 guest check ins. Coffee was missing and no enough milk. We could not make use of the pool as it had to the pre booked in advance. But we only stayed for a night and we checked in late, so how are we going to book a swimming in advance?

It was a great location and beautiful presentation throughout the hotel. Very impressive and staff were very polite and helpful. We had a great breakfast with a beautiful view. Everything was very pleasant and we had a one hour swimming session with kids. This is far more luxurious for the price we paid and food was amazing! All the facilities were excellent! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to visit this place.. beautiful interior and very clean bathroom and rooms were well maintained.. nothing to complain about! All I can say is excellent!

We have been visiting this hotel twice a year for about 20 years . My children loved visiting wonderland when small and we have carried on coming as a family . Lovely memories and the perfect little break

The only thing we found a little uncomfy on this occasion was the mattresses. They are really bulky and not as comfortable as before so we didn’t sleep as well has we normally would .

Enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast was lovely . Staff were brilliant especially the gents at the bar . 1 helped when my niece got stung by a wasp and gave her a drink and some wrapped ice . Thankypu for your help .

Excellent facilities and location. The pool was very clean. The staff were very friendly.

The property was well located a 6 minute drive from Telford Central Station and about 10 minutes to my cousin’s house (who I was visiting). Upon arrival, we loved the decor - beautiful furniture and bright surroundings. The room was likewise beautiful with very clean and comfortable bedding. It was also very quiet. The Olive Tree restaurant is beautiful - well lit and decorated. The dinner there is amazing - the dessert was delicious. The staff are exceptionally polite and friendly - particularly the ones serving at the restaurant. They were keen for us to enjoy our stay and continuously asked if our food was satisfactory. They were also very mindful of my baby which I really appreciated. I also need to comment on the baby changing toilet in the lobby which was amazing - so clean and easy to use! In summary, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning in future.

Firstly, we were very unhappy about the fact that despite having requested a room about ground, we were placed on the ground floor. Secondly, we did not enjoy the breakfast - there is a lot of improvement to be done in that respect. Thirdly the bathroom was not exceptionally clean as expected. The tap has some wear and tear.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, excellent location for the International Centre and the staff were incredibly helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel had a lovely relaxed feeling. We really enjoyed the bar area and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

Recent refurbishment thoughtless and seemed to take no account of customer needs: Beds were too soft and much too high, posing a serious risk to elderly customers attempting to get out of bed. I booked 2 adults and a child for my stay and got a room with 2double beds and one single centrally located bedside table. THERE IS ALWAYS A BEDSIDE TABLE ON EACH SIDE OF A DOUBLE BED for very obvious and useful reasons.

The restaurant. The service was OK, it took a long time to get the bill despite asking twice, note that only 4 tables were occupied so it wasn't busy. More importantly (i have never complained before so unlike me) .. I ordered a starter, Fried Squid. I was very disappointed to received what amounted to no more than 2 rings of fried Squid, chopped into small pieces with lashings of some sauce. That cost almost £10 .. terrible value for money and an insult to serve a customer so little food regardless of it being a starter. Portion size should not be huge, no even big.. but it shouldn't be so little it feels insulting or even a prank. Maybe it was an ounce of Squid? for £10??? You're not a Michelin. 2 gece konakladım. Odamda ki kurutma makinesi çalışmıyordu, içinde parçası kırılmış sallayınca ses geliyordu. Yatmadan önce duş aldım, saçımı kurutamadım. Telefon ile resepsiyonu aramak istedim. Resepsiyonun kısa kodu yazıyordu, fakat kısa kod ile tuşladığınız hiç bir şey çalışmıyordu. Booking'den kurutma makinamın bozuk olduğunu resepsiyona bildirdim. Ertesi gün hotelden çıktım kurutma makinem değiştirilmemişti ve gece geldiğimde tekrar duş aldım. İki gece üst üste ıslak saçlarım ile yatmak durumunda kaldım. Odamda ki klimayı açtım, fakat gece boyunca açık kalmasına rağmen ısıtmadı. Zaten elimi fanın önüne tutunca soğuk-ılık arası üflediğini gördüm. Kahvaltı büyük bir salonda yapılıyor, fakat ilginç bir şekilde ekmek, peynir ve labne seçenekleri son derece yetersizdi.

Great property and location we’ve been visiting this hotel since 2017 and the new refurb is lovely asset to the building.

Shame since Covid you have stopped the little things that made us return, like the cookies and milk tokens for the children in the evenings, and colouring competitions etc

Breakfast was pretty goodstaff in general were very friendly a little disappointed that my son and friend 14 near 15 weren't allowed in the gym even with an adult present both have memberships for local one. was raining and outside roof drain was leaking badly outside of our window but inside rooms were spotless and comfortable
