The swimming pool was a fantastic perk.

The pillows were sadly not very comfortable, Abit like sleeping on pillow cases filled with woodchip. The bed was fantastic, But! If only hotels would learn that comfortable pillows should not be an option.

Snídaně byly chudší a nepříliš doplňované. Pokoje menší, horší možnost větrání - z důvodu stylu otevírání oken.

Staff were cheerful and very helpful. Room was very clean, the cot requested was in the room with clean sheet, ready. Pool was easy to access, view from room was great. Restaurant staff very helpful, fetched a high chair for us without even being asked, breakfast had an amazing selection of food.

Lady on reception was extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay, and really made me feel welcome

Only minor gripe was TV had several stations that appeared half scrambled when you tried to watch them

The room was comfortable and had most of what I needed. The breakfast was great and the hotel is very conveniently located for getting to the centre of Telford.

It would have been nice to have a hairdryer in the room and I couldn't work out how to keep the window open again after closing it the night before.

The breakfast was great had a full English. All well cooked. Also fruit and yogurt. Very nice

I stayed three nights with my dogs and felt the facilities and room were excellent for me and my two friends. The area around the hotel was perfect for them to walk and off the lead. I certainly will stay again.

We had two rooms close to each other. There was quite a difference in the room decor, with one being far more modern and nicer than the other. Perhaps they are slowly upgrading them all?

The hotel was clean, comfortable and well presented. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was convenient, and the staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable base for our couple of days in Telford.

The bar prices were a little on the expensive side, and the mattress was slightly firmer than I’m personally used to, although that is entirely down to preference. Neither detracted from our stay and, other than those minor points, we had no complaints whatsoever.

Nice convenient location for public transport, the shopping centre and Telford Town Park. Good housekeeping - clean room and bedding. Quiet room with good views over the landscaped property. Friday and Saturday breakfast fault free. Saturday dinner fault free. Staff interacting well with customers. Good customer service

Sunday breakfast at 9am was extremely disappointing - all food items depleted. No bread. No pastries. .The cold bar was depleted. Uncleared tables. No plates, cutlery. Gaslighted by the male staff on duty when I queried whether he would be topping up the fruit salad bowl. He pointed to a bowl of juice with some bits floating in it and queried what I was talking about!! I was so enraged I reported the issue to the manager and made him walk around the breakfast room. I left in disgust. This would never happen in the Mercure Telford Central across the road. They maintain a high standard at all times. 🫤

Straight forward, reliable, quality service and hotel rooms and accommodation. Restaurant menu marked up with many gluten free options which worked well. We were able to take our dog too and have a swim, brilliant!

Breakfast was chaotic. We were there just before 9am on a Sunday morning, no free tables except large tables, the few staff struggled to keep up clearing tables, replenishing food, but did do with a smile. People waiting for hot food, toast, pastries, etc. TIP: get there by 8am I guess to get a decent breakfast.

The only let down was I didn’t realise there was a pool so had no swimsuit, but that was my fault for not looking properly!

Limited TV channels kept saying no signal and was not able too set sleep timer. No hair dryer in room luckily my wife brought a hair cover so hair wouldn't get wet. Window would only stay open for 2 inches so couldn't get much air in room.

The Room was very clean and had everything you need. Staff were super friendly and the facilities and location were excellent, (10 minute walk from Telford Central). Parking onsite and everything was made easy.

Breakfast was less than value for money in my opinion, however, I am not usually a breakfast person.

It’s fine, the room was fine and the bed comfortable. The public areas really need a good clean but the room was cleans not much storage space for a longer stay.

The breakfast is appalling - the hash browns are so under cooked to appear almost white, the pastry selection is pathetic as is the fruit. The eggs were swimming in grease. Sausages were nice though.

Unfortunately the pool was closed due to unforeseen circumstances which was out of their control, however previous hotel's I have stayed at allow you to use the facilities on the day of check out too but this was not the case which meant that we were unable to use the pool on our stay. This was unfortunate because it was one of the reasons we booked this hotel over others.

I booked an exec room. The allocated room was next to the plant room, with constant low frequency drumming/grinding noise. No other exec room available so moved to a basic room without aircon. Window would not stay open, I had to wedge it with a toilet roll! Shower gel like water, clearly watered down. Shower continually runs hot then cold, hot/ cold. WiFi almost nonexistent in room (301) but ok in bar. My colleagues room had all the same issues, plus the small desk fan only ran for 30 mins before overheating, surely a fire risk, and worse still, the was what looked like blood on the en-suite door (see Expedia review) No apologies, no credit offered, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Good hotel and good value for money.

All generally fine. Maybe breakfast cereals could have been a bit better presented, and there was a problem with the coffee machine, but overall fine.

The staff were pleasant and attentive, the food was good, and the location is great, easy walk into the town centre. The hotel overall is very nice, we just had a duff room.

The room smelled musty, and there were cobwebs on the ceiling. There were a few blobs of something on the bathroom floor I had to wipe up. I'm hoping it was spilt cleaning fluid.
