Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Charlottetown by IHG

Great breakfast, nice and hot and tasty

J’ai eut un bon service

Pour le prix je m’attendais plus .

Location

It was close to everything

Toilet didn’t flush properly , bed was uncomfortable

The facilities and the breakfast

The beds are too soft for my taste

Room was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful vacation in PEI. The holiday is a fifteen minute drive from the waterfront. It was very convenient to get around and had everything we needed

Everything was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be back for anotherholiday

Location

Our room the first night had carpet which was very dirty and the room had a very bad smell. The room was very damp. Pillows and sheet felt wet. The staff was very friendly and helpful in moving us to a room with no carpet the next 2 nights

The social areas wasn’t clean at all

Staff were very friendly and helpful!!

The room was in the basement. Lots of noises at night through the walls and from toilets and showers runnimg

Only one available

Poorly outdated and high cost for below average room

Location, breakfast, style and cleanliness of hotel

Fitness facilities had multiple broken machines. Housekeeping did not vacuum rooms unless asked which for a location known for beaches (sand) was strange and left our room feeling dirty even after housekeeping had come by. We also requested 4 full towels in our room and everyday had to go get more.

Breakfast was constantly restocked. Slightly earlier check in request was accommodated.

Beds were kinda droopy and noisy. Vending machines were out of order.

Close to every thing

Room was cozy and spacious, pillows were super comfortable

Some breakfast items run out quickly, but weren’t replaced promptly by the staff

We got a room at the ground level, but the water pressure was too low to take a comfortable shower. For some reason the room felt very humid. We requested to change the room for the 2nd night and this time we got a room at the 3rd level which was much better and comfortable

The breastfast was good with a lot of options

location

car parking

The parking lot is big. Breakfast included GF bread!

The bed was noisy ..super weird. Both of us have medical equipment that needs to be plugged into electrical outlets. While the outlet on my husband's side worked, the one on my side didn't. I talked to the receptionist and he came up to the room and confirmed that the outlets weren't working. He said he would call an electrician... but it was Saturday night and the electrician would take a few hours to come. It was late, and we were tired. We agreed that fixing it in the morning made sense BUT, it meant I wouldn't have a good night. So, I asked for some compensation. He said had to check and would call back. We waited and then called the front desk again. A different receptionist answered and didn't know about our situation but after hearing our story, offered to switch us to a different room. It was way passed our bedtime, so we declined. The next morning, I saw a switch near the door and wondered if for some very dumb reason this one switch controlled the electrical outlets next to my side of the bed. It did ... so WHY didn't the staff know this. I lost a lot of sleep without my medical equipment. First, this is a STUPID situation. I hope the hotel either better trains their staff or better yet, eliminate this problem.

Location great for airport.

Pool was not ready outdoor

Laundry facilities. Everything clean and organized

La propreté et le calme

Service was nice, staff was extremely friendly and it was conveniently close to everywhere I needed to get to.

There wasn’t anything I did not like about the property.

Clean

Small pool

The breakfast was crowded. Seating was limited. The breakfast items were good and plentiful

The guests weee noisy at times the ones with younger family. Wished the rooms were more sound proof

Le déjeuner compris

The facility was clean. The beds were soft. Breakfast was very good, a lot of choices.

The pillows were very soft.

I was very pleased with everything. Staff members were helpful and friendly. There was a variety of breakfast selection to pick from. I will recommend this place to family and friends.

Everything was great, very clean, friendly stuff, great location and breakfast.

Friendly staff

Loved the cleanliness & the breakfast was the best anywhere. Staff were very friendly.

Our Keurig machine didn't work but wasn't a big deal.

Great stay! Will be back for sure! Very welcoming with for the whole family, dog included.

It was good

The fitness room wasn’t exactly aesthetically pleasing.

The WiFi was horrible. I had to use my data the whole time I stayed.

Tv wasn't a smart tv and didn't really work well. My kids couldn't watch Netflix off their wifi I had to hotspot them. The breakfast buffet wasn't great..... Either old, cold or dried out

The breakfast was good. Hot and tasty

The price could have been better. I’m finding hotels are getting more expensive with no real compensation. Same rooms same amenities.higher rates

Very comfortable

Friendly staff, very clean and beautiful hot breakfast.

There was nothing I could say about any dislikes during my stay.

Cleanliness

Everything was good

did not eat there

There was a great selection and the hot food was hot, lots of areas to sit and enjoy the food

The flow was a confusing, as the coffee was in another area from the food

It was good

The bed was making lot of noise and it was brought to the notice of Duty Manager as well as GM. But no improvement was noticed. Wrote several emails to GM and didn’t get satisfactory response. Everyone was in denial mode.

The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast had plenty of options.

Good staff

Staff and flexibility of changing rooms.

Would prefer TV Channels for kids and teenagers are included.

Nice ambiance and cozy vibes!

Everything is just great. Excellent rooms and laundry facility.

The only negative was the weak plastic cutlery but we bring our own now. :)

Clean and beautiful hotel

Nothing

Beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet with easy access to our car in the parking lot

Nothing

The room was spacious and clean!

Plenty of area to walk the dog and quite a few places to eat within a very short drive!!

There was no black out shade in the room although the Front Desk said they were kind of the process of installing them room-by-room!!

Super clean. A bit noisy. Not the most friendly staff when we arrived. The staff when we left was very friendly and polite and smiling.

The property was good.

Clean spacious room and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was very good and tasty.
