Wir haben uns gefreut, dass man mit der Bahn in Zaandam ankommt und 2 Minuten später bereits das Hotel erreichte. Das Frühstück war sehr fein, wir haben natürlich zum Lachs ein Gläschen Prosecco genossen :-) Das Bett war sehr bequem und die zusätzlichen Kissen (pro Person je 2 verschieden Härtegarde) haben für traumhaften Schlaf gesorgt.

Die Fahrräder für den Ausflug nach Zaanse Schans waren gut, jedoch haben wir einen Gepäckträger oder Fahrradkorb sehr vermisst.

A very unique and beautiful hotel that is definitely worth staying at. The little house itself is very interesting and unusual, and the room has a beautiful view. We really liked the location. There is a train station nearby, so it is very easy and quick to get to the centre of Amsterdam — it takes about 12 minutes. This is very convenient when visiting Amsterdam. There is also parking nearby, which is a big advantage for guests arriving by car. The room was cosy, and the bed and bed linen were clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and friendly, and overall we had a very good experience.

One small downside was that there were some hairs in the bathroom, and the cleaning could have been a little more thorough. Apart from that, everything was good. Overall, we really liked the hotel. If you want to stay somewhere unusual and have a slightly different experience during your trip to Amsterdam, I definitely recommend it. We were very happy with our stay.

Good location, just 2 mins to the station to reach Amsterdam Central and the airport. Very friendly staff, who were extremely helpful when there were a couple of issues with my room. Breakfast was excellent.

Wellness area is rather small and got a bit overcrowded in the evenings

The breakfast buffett was very good. No fresh omelets, however.

Access from the train level was limited. The hotel entrance on that level was locked and only open for conferences. Unfortunately, the public escalator outside the hotel was also not working, so one had to walk another 400m or so to access the closest public elevator to get to the second level to catch the train. That kinda defeats the purpose for access. Staff at the hotel refused to assist in any way by opening the door on the second level conveniently located just outside their elevators. Quite disappointing!

The design of the building is just extraordinary The convenient location is the most superb hotel in Zaandam, it is pretty much close to everything you want within the town.

Given its convenient location, which attracts most tourists from the globe, I would suggest rooms could’ve been decorated better and equipped with better furnitures.

Great location! Short, enjoyable walk to the train. Quiet, laid back neighborhood with a variety of stores and restaurants. Comfortable bed, large bathroom. Loved the slippers and robe!

Die Zimmer waren schön und das Bett bequem. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls gut.

Leider waren andere Gäste laut und rücksichtslos.

Solo l’esterno rispecchia le foto mentre le camere risultano vecchie ma soprattutto sporche anche la colazione è tutta da rivedere nulla è all’altezza delle 4 stelle .Inoltre al nostro piano c’era un forte odore di fumo di sigarette.Assolutamente non vale il costo pagato per il soggiorno

If you are looking for something just a short train ride away from the main part of Amsterdam I highly recommend Zaandam and especially this hotel! The hotel is so unique and the area around it is super cute and has lots of little stores, restaurants and cafes. We stayed in the Founder Suite and it did NOT disappoint! This room had a large sitting area with tv and desk with 2 chairs, the bedroom had a large king sized bed and large tv but it was the bathroom that blew us away. Not only did it have a shower..but also a large bathtub AND a sauna! We were also able to utilize any of their spa amenities as well. We definitely enjoyed relaxing in the pool and then the sauna after a long day walking around.

I’ve stayed in Zaandam previously so knew how easy it was to get around from how close the hotel is to the station, McDonald’s directly opposite the as a hit with my teen. Very pretty outside building

Stayed in a junior founder suite. Sauna door didn’t quite shut properly so didn’t get hot hot. Just warm. Tv had pay per view movies etc, would be nice just to have Netflix/disney plus app on. Bathroom could do with a freshen up

Hotel facilities are clean and room is very spacious!

The hair dryer is not as clean as I wish! The power cord of hair dryer is very dusty and it will be better to be wiped before every new customer check in! All the other places inside the room and bathroom are super clean!

A quirky building in a lovely location—ideal, above all, for taking the commuter train into Amsterdam or visiting the very instagrammable museum-like Dutch village of Zaanse Schans. The hotel is part of a shopping complex, so there are plenty of shops in the immediate vicinity. Our room was spacious, featuring a well-equipped bathroom and excellent beds. The two elevators struggle a bit to handle 12 floors—especially in the morning—but things work out in the end. There is a nearby parking garage that is reasonably priced by Dutch standards.

Goede locatie je zit lekker centraal, prima kamer, koelkastje op de kamer, verschillende Wellness faciliteiten waar je gebruik van kunt maken. 's Avonds kun je het hotel in door middel van het scannen van je pasje, voelde erg veilig.

Wij zijn hier twee dagen verbleven. De eerste dag was het ontbijt goed, de tweede dag was er al veel op en dit werd ook weinig tot niet bijgevuld (we kwamen 40 minuten voor het eind van het ontbijt) dit is tevens aangegeven bij de receptie. Geen stopcontacten naast het bed. Twee aparte bedden is meestal geen probleem, maar deze vlogen wel erg snel uit elkaar, bed ook erg zacht - moet maar net je ding zijn. Hygiëne in de badkamer zou beter kunnen, je merkt toch wat veroudering rondom het bad. Ramen kunnen maar beperkt open, zorgde voor weinig frisse lucht.

De ligging was perfect om de Zaanse Schans en Amsterdam te bezoeken. Je bent daar op een kwartier. Het ligt vlakbij het treinstation en ook met de taxi is het heel handig. Je eigen auto kan je makkelijk dichtbij parkeren.

De douche mocht onderaan iets properder zijn. We misten kapstokjes in de badkamer. Er was ook geen koffie op de kamer.

Het hotel is middel in het centrum en het station. Goed gelegen. De kamer was schoon en confortable. Het ontbijt was goed voor ieder wat wilt .

We stayed at 11th floor and every morning we've been woke up by seagulls at 5 o'clock in the morning very annoying so I don't recommend the last floors.

El hotel tiene una buena ubicación, muy cerca de la estación central, lo que facilita mucho los desplazamientos. El edificio por fuera es muy bonito.

Sin embargo, nuestra experiencia fue bastante decepcionante. Al llegar nos hicieron esperar más de una hora para entregarnos la habitación. Es cierto que nos ofrecieron habitaciones en otra planta, pero al viajar una pareja y una amiga, con dos habitaciones reservadas, queríamos estar en la misma planta. Nos dijeron que serían solo 15 minutos y esa espera terminó convirtiéndose en más de una hora. Después de esa larga espera, ni siquiera tuvieron el detalle de ofrecer una bebida o un pequeño aperitivo como gesto de cortesía. El trato del personal tampoco estuvo a la altura. En general fueron bastante antipáticos y poco amables, tanto en recepción como durante el desayuno. Incluso, mientras esperábamos en la terraza, un camarero pasó varias veces delante de nosotros sin preguntarnos si queríamos pedir algo, atendiendo antes a personas que habían llegado después. Nos pareció una falta de respeto y un servicio muy poco profesional. En la habitación también encontramos aspectos negativos. Apareció un insecto de humedad y el grifo de la bañera estaba estropeado, algo que no debería ocurrir en un hotel de esta categoría. Por el precio que pagamos por dos noches, esperábamos un nivel de calidad y de servicio mucho mayor. Teníamos muchas expectativas porque el hotel es muy bonito por fuera, pero por dentro y, sobre todo, por la atención recibida, dejó mucho que desear. Lamentablemente, no repetiríamos la experiencia.

Op onze kamer was het uitzicht niet zo best, maar we hadden ook pas enkele dagen vooraf gereserveerd in een druk seizoen. Ik veronderstel dat het bij andere kamers beter is.

Enkelt att transportera sig till Amsterdam med tåg (12 min, 2 stationer), hotellet ligger i ett område med restauranger och affärer. Vår dotter gillade hotellets pool och vi bastun. Parkeringen förbokades via Q-park och funkade fint.

Wanted to say what a great time my wife and I had in Holland and having a excellent hotel added to our pleasure. The hotel is centrally located in Zaandam,close to a good range of food outlets and retail shops.It is 10 minutes walk to the railway station, the train service is easy to use and inexpensive. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Our room was available early, it was clean and comfortable, had a good night's sleep every evening.Although we didn't have an evening meal in the hotel, we had breakfast, good array of food on offer.We used thr pool one afternoon and we were the only users of the pool. No negatives, only positive, would recommend and would stay here again for sure.

موقع الفندق ممتاز في منطقة هادئة ومناسبة للعائلات ، والمكيف كان بارد

الحمام يوجد فيه نافذة مطلة بالغرفة تمنع الخصوصية ودفع الماء جيد لكن ليس بالمستوى المطلوب ، التشيك آوت الساعة 11 صباحا وعندما طلبت منهم مهلة ساعة اضافية طلبوا مني دفع مبلغ اضافي مع العلم بأن أغلب الفنادق تمنح ساعة أو ساعتين اضافيتين مجانا عند الطلب!

Grappige architectuur. Rustige ruime kamer met airconditioning en koelkastje. Fijn zwembad. Lekkere bedden.

Geen plaats om de fietsen in het hotel te zetten, we moesten naar de OVstalling even verderop. Geen slippers om mee naar het zwembad te gaan. Er was geen douche gel bij het bad (gelukkig wel bij de wastafel).

Insgesamt hat uns das Hotel gut gefallen. Die Lage war hervorragend, das Personal an der Rezeption war super nett und auch das Houskeeing war super. Die Zimmer waren sauber und auch das Schwimmbad war gut.

Das Frühstück war absolut Minimum. Auf die Frage ob es auch Milchalternativen gäbe, wurde mir zähneknirschend im dritten Anlauf eine Tasse voll Sojamilch gegeben. Wir hatten es nur am ersten Morgen genutzt und sind dann lieber in eins der netten Cafés gegenüber zum halben Preis frühstücken gegangen.

It was so close to the station. We travelled in/out of Amsterdam everyday quite easily. The staff were very friendly. There are good restaurants close by.

The location so close to the train station was excellent and the outside view of the hotel beautiful.

The continental breakfast was expensive and the restaurants around the hotel was better value for money.

What an amazing hotel — we're so happy we chose to stay here! From the moment we arrived, the unique architecture and design made it feel really special, unlike anywhere else we've stayed. The location is great too — just a short walk from Zaandam station, and close to Zaanse Schans and central Amsterdam, so it was perfect for exploring the area. We were so happy to have our own private jacuzzi and sauna in the room — such a lovely touch, it made our stay feel really relaxing and a bit special. The room itself was comfortable and well thought out, and the staff were lovely and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this place to any traveller passing through, and we'll be back for sure!
