It was an excellent stay. The property is in a fantastic location, with all shops in easy walking distance and the hotel looks onto Lake Geneva - a nice promenade that you can walk:run down that hugs the shoreline. The facilities were great, we had a lovely meal on the terrace restaurant and regularly used the outdoor pool/spa and gym facilities. We were also very impressed with the staff, who were always very friendly and didn’t make anything seem too much.

It was a brilliant stay, the only shame was that the indoor pool was closed for renovation.

Le Fairmont Montreux Palace est un lieu exceptionnel de beauté et d'élégance. Nous avons apprécié le calme, sa situation géographique, les services, la propreté et le personnel toujours aux petits soins avec courtoisie. Ce palace est à recommander. La vue sur le lac, les équipements des chambres et surtout LE CALME. Nous avons eu un petit souci avec un WC et le personnel a été très réactif, nous a changé de chambre et nous a témoigné de petites attentions bien agréables. Merci à Samy qui s'est occupé de nous. Nous espérons pouvoir y séjourner à nouveau. Un grand merci aux équipes.

Absolument rien. Tout a été parfait. Il n'y a rien à dire de négatif sur cet hôtel et son personnel.

Le petit déjeuner. Expérience un peu négative, trop de monde, personnel stressé, peu de marchandise et pas remplacée

Wunderschöne, hochwertig ausgestattete, saubere, große Zimmer mit hübschem Balkon. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der Service incl. Valet Parking war perfekt. Die Größe des Hotels, die Breite der Gänge und die hohen wunderschön eingerichteten Räume sind beeindruckend.

Leider war der Blick auf den See von unserem Balkon aus etwas eingeschränkt aufgrund einer Veranstaltungshalle und der Straßenlärm hat auch etwas gestört. Bestenfalls wünschen wir uns beim nächsten Mal ein Zimmer in einer höheren Etage als der 2. Etage. Außerdem war es nicht möglich in Ruhe am Pool zu lesen bzw. zu schwimmern, da dort Kinder sehr laut und ungestüm gespielt haben, was scheinbar so geduldet wird. Wir sind dann auf die benachbarte Ruhewiese umgezogen. Dort war es herrlich!

We stayed in a lovely room overlooking the lake. Stunning view. It was a national holiday when we were there so had a fabulous view of the fireworks display. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of food and great fresh fruit selection. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool areas were really nice inside and out. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay at this hotel.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful. Rooms were great and surprisingly large. The views of lake Geneva were stunning. It was walkable to all of Montreux.

Beautiful view from the rooms, one room was very luxurious, breakfast was amazing with brilliant staff, great location!

Restaurant staff (jazz club) were less than inspiring in comparison to the breakfast staff (except for Clara). Some problems in our room which was a little older/worn.

By far the worst Fairmont Property we have stayed at. Stay away. We booked since it was advertised as a 5 star property. Close to 3k for 3 nights. There is zero service. No one gives a xxx . No one greats you with a smile or genuine about hospitality. First night we dined at the Jazz Cafe as recommended by the front desk since we arrived around 7pm. Once seated we waited 20 min for service and the person who took our order never showed up again. The same level of service at concierge where the guy wouldn't help with dinner recommendations. At check out they held our bags until evening and just brought 6 bags to the lobby and no help loading. They just are arrogant and classless for a supposedly 5*. And finally AC. Don't expect much we had the temp set to the lowest they would allow 18.5 and felt more like 23. When raised the issue the manager came to the room and unlocked thermostat and set it for 17. Still didn't solve the problem. He said maintenance would show up the next day and no one did. They just left us a fan. We have been diamond member for a few years will AllCor and decided to try Fairmont again. Never going again. We are done with the Fairmont brand.

Brilliant hotel. Although preparing for the annual Jazz Festival to hotel was a good location. The big plus is the quality of the staff and their great attitude. Valet parking so simple and straight forward. The hotel was vibrant. Breakfast must be one of the best I experienced in Europe. Both evenings we eat in the Jazz Restaurant where the food and service were exceptional.

Ik had via Booking een foto van een kamer met twin bedden en balkon. Dit was in werkelijkheid niet zo. toch beetje teleurstellend.

The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the room was comfortable, bright, and thoughtfully designed. Every member of the staff was genuinely welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The service was efficient, the atmosphere was warm, and every detail reflected a high standard of hospitality. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

A big heritage luxury hotel facing the beautiful lake in heart of Montreux. Very near the Montreux train station also. Rooms and bathrooms are big in size and of very good luxury level. Hotel has a very good restaurant and bar. Very good breakfast spread they offer . Room service menu quite elaborate. Room service is quite fast also. Two swimming pools one indoor and one outdoor. Very good and big spa. Housekeeping is of high standards . Services of the hotel whether reservations , concierge , Housekeeping, in room dining are praiseworthy and very responsive. Enjoyed my stay and will stay again when in Montreux next.

The Fairmont was a beautiful and well-maintained hotel in Montreux. Beautiful wide hallways led us to our lovely room that had an amazing view. Some fruit and water were placed on the bedroom table for us to enjoy. We were able to walk a short distance to dining and the Freddie Mercury statue by the water. We walked there early in the morning before the day got too hot.

I could live in room 62 for the rest of my life! Everything was perfect. Impressed with our very large room in the oldest part of the hotel. Fantastic view of Lake Geneva. Watched our favourite you tube channels and UK news on the tv. Great WiFi, really comfy bed with separate twin duvets. Fruit and gorgeous little chocolates waiting in the room for us. Good selection in the mini bar fridge, pull out drawers for coffee making, snacks, wine and glasses. Stunning reception area with chandeliers and beautiful staircase. Original old telephone cabins still exist. World class breakfast with so much choice, attentive and friendly staff. Excellent spa with an outdoor and warm indoor pool. Exclusive walkway under road between hotel and spa/pools. Immaculately clean everywhere at all times. Everywhere was either shining or sparkling. The gardens opposite were immaculate and pleasant. Location ideal for strolling along the lakeside, Freddie Mercury statue, a few restaurants and a paddle steamer launch.

Massive hotel, and crazy expensive. Very nice room spacious room and bathroom. Good view, tiny balcony with barely room for 1 chair and table. Decent breakfast spread but expensive and service not great. Took 3 go’s to get the right tea! Spa across the road has an indoor and outdoor pool, but a very loud DJ by the pool. Not exactly restful.

Actually a very nice hotel on the lake actually ..... they gave me this room 221 as a Platinum guest from ALL Accor the room has almost no view of the lake on the right the big hall of Montreux Festival on the left a little view of the lake. Extra I had written in time I come with a 90-year-old aunt who celebrates her birthday there and then they gave us a room where we had to walk 200 m through the long corridor - for the old lady an imposition - the ninety-year-year-old aunt had the room right next to me / we had booked an extra room with a view of the lake we had - but very limited - apparently no consideration is given to good customers at all here - as an apology I got a small bottle of 0.375 l of champagne - then he tried to give me another room due to my status but I didn't want to move out anymore - also in relation to and consideration for my aunt - as I said 90 years old !!

Such a beautiful hotel right in the center of the city. The location was amazing, and the room had one of the most beautiful views I’ve seen. The room was spacious, comfortable, and the service was wonderful from the moment we arrived. The whole atmosphere felt so elegant and luxurious, it honestly made me feel like I was staying in a royal palace.

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful spa and view. The weather was not in our favor so we spent some time at the indoor pool and spa. It happened to be a holiday week for the families in Europe so there was a lot of children at the pool but there is a quiet room for adults only if you so desire. we were only there one night but it was comfortable and beautiful.

Spectacular Alpine and lake views, warm and enthusiastic staff, and a superb location. Funky Claude’s Bar, live jazz and the Smoke on the Water cocktail were unforgettable highlights.

A persistent ceiling leak and missing toiletries detracted, but the memories prevailed.

There are hotels you stay in, and hotels you remember. Fairmont Montreux falls firmly into the latter. The setting is magical—Lake Geneva in front, snow-capped Alps beyond, and a promenade that invites long, lingering walks. The staff, especially the interns, brought a warmth and sincerity that made us feel genuinely welcome. Not everything was perfect. Our lower-floor room missed some of the grandeur the views deserved, basic toiletries were absent, and a ceiling leak near the entrance persisted for most of our stay despite being reported. Yet somehow, the memories that endure are the good ones: jazz drifting through Funky Claude’s Bar, a superb “Smoke on the Water” cocktail in hand, and the timeless beauty of Montreux outside the window. Imperfect, memorable, and easy to fall for.

Chambre extraordinaire avec vue sur le lac. Restauration de haute qualité et petits déjeuners fabuleux. Expérience extraordinaire à refaire c'est un vrai Palace ! Il faut réserver pour le brunch du dimanche .... La encore une expérience extraordinaire.

Lage 1 A. Wir hatten bewusst ein Zimmer mit Seeblick gebucht, waren aber begeistert über das Zimmer mit geschlossenem Balkon. Zimmer insgesamt super. Das schliesst auch das dezente sehr freundliche Zimmer-personal ein, die sehr akkurat und professionell sind. Die Belle-Epoque-Architektur des Hotels ist sehr schön. Spa-bereich und Indoor Pool haben wir sehr genossen.

Wir hätten gerne das Restaurant in der 1.Etage für unseren Jahrestag gebucht. Stattdessen im Jazz-Restaurant diniert. Das war aber auch sehr gut. Also eine wirkliche Kleinigkeit, ansonsten gibt es nichts was uns nicht gefallen hat.

We stayed in a lake and mountain view suite no 404 for 5 nights. I cannot fault this hotel at all. The accommodation is beautiful and very comfortable, the staff are charming, the views are gorgeous, the breakfasts are amazing. Probably one of the very best hotel experiences I have ever had. My thanks to the staff and management for a fantastic stay.

Nous avions pris une chambre triple. Le lit d’appoint est vraiment très inconfortable. Il n’a été fait qu’à 23h après 3 demandes à la réceptions… pas top de devoir relancer 2 fois pour un palace…
