Bedrooms were clean and spacious, with comfy beds and good ensuite facilities. Also had air conditioning. Excellent breakfast. Great location close to motorway and easy drive into Taunton.

Lack of parking, it was very busy in the carpark.

I found we had booked a double bedded room, so on asking if it was possible to change to twin beds, the very helpful receptionist sorted it beautifully.

There was only one chair in the room. For 2 people. Apparently, according to the receptionist,that is the industry standard in a twin room because they only expect one person to stay in a twin room!?! If I was travelling alone I would book a double room to get a bigger bed. I was offered another chair from the breakfast room but I would have had to carry it up to the room myself. I declined the offer ( as an elderly woman I would find it difficult to carry a chair. and my husband is disabled)

Nothing in particular but would have liked to see mushrooms at breakfast as being vegan/ vegetarian not much cooked breakfast to eat. Nothing they can do about it but location was out of town, although you could get a shuttle bus into town or 10 minutes by cab.

Everything I needed for a short stay. Well-equipped, clean and comfortable.

Free parking, walking distance into Taunton, handy having a Harvester on site which served pretty good food.

Bar prices, attended a wedding at Holiday Inn next door and prices seemed fairer

When the bed settee was put down you couldn’t access the tea and coffee making facilities. No cot on arrival and had to request one and had to put it up myself. At time of booking told where i could park the motorhome, which was not the case when we arrived. The staff were all pleasant especially the lady at breakfast time who was so helpful

Very sensibly priced

Easy to get to from motorway, we were on our way to Devon. Comfortable room, chance to relax after a long journey. Great reception and booking. Excellent breakfast which meant the stay was very good value. Liked the Harvester nearby. .

Had to unhitch trailer as there were no double parking places.

It’s so much better then the premier value for money and most of all quality of the food and services was wonderful

A very tired hotel. Bed a little saggy and breakfast was a poor quality. Butter had been stored badly and was a little rancid. Croissants were not plentiful and the coffee machine was out of order with no directions to a working one that was in a different room.

The breakfast this time was a bit on off the first morning the bacon was overcooked and so was the sausages the second morning they were better but it looked like the orange juice and the apple juice hard been watered down by the amount of glasses that were still left with loads of juice in them we put up the do not disturb on the door but yet the housekeeping entered the room plus someone open the door and closed it again when we're in the room I did ask the receptor and they said it could have been in the housekeeping ?

Easy to get too and not far from the race track. 30 minutes. Ideal location.

When first looking at the cooled breakfast at 7am it looked lovely but the sausages were tough. Bacon over cooked burnt. Beans spot on. But the scrambled eggs were cold. Shame really.

Staff was a bit abrupt, had to pay £30 extra for my dog to stay, dog pack was very feeble for £30 a tennis ball a pooh bag ,2 red chew sticks ,had to sit in tiled area with my dog for breakfast

Staff were all excellent, very helpful and friendly. I wasn't expecting much, but the hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy and a nice place to be. The room and bathroom were very clean, good facilities and comfy beds. Very quiet room too. The breakfast was great and was still being replenished near the end time.

It was Sat night in the summer hols, so demand was high and the cost was more than I'd like to pay, but it was by far the best value we could find.

The room was clean and comfortable and very quiet overnight. The location close to the M5 was very convenient. The included hot breakfast was surprisingly good considering it was 100% buffet style. There was free parking available. Overall, it was great value for money and we would stay there again.

The lack of any power point or recharging point on one side of the double bed was inconvenient and a surprising omission, though everything else in the room was fine. There was no jam to put on the toast for breakfast (though there were other things available, such as honey and Marmite, but in general the breakfast was very good.

I liked the layout of the room, and the decor. Breakfast was lovely. Choice of a firm or soft pillow. Easy to find.

The shower was cold. I didn't try it, hubbies did. The bed was ok, not the most comfortable, but not awful.

Stop over from Cardiff. Really easy and friendly check in by Candy?. Great room,comfy bed,spotlesly clean bathroom. No hot food in evening due to staffing issue. Great drinks selection without rip off prices. Lovely sleep. Fabulous buffet breakfast and free!!. Sraff friendly and pleasant,and M5 minutes away. Fabulous experience.

Service was excellent. Lots of staff onsite, very courteous and hard working. Room booked was a standard king - it was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Room had air conditioning, fridge and safe. A34 is close by but room double glazed and no road noise heard. Large, modern spacious bar and restaurant area with work spaces. Good food choices at reasonable prices. Onsite parking charged at reasonable rate. Much cheaper than Central Oxford parking and there us Peartree Park and Ride adjacent where bus run regularly into Oxford. Really enjoyed our stay. More impressed than we expected to be as usually stay in central Oxford. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Nothing major and certainly wouldnt stop us rebooking. No onsite EV chargers, but there are a couple at adjacent A34 services. Most modern hotels now installing in their car parks for use by Hotel guests. Shower pressure a bit low but okay and perfectly usuable. Shower over the bath which is fine but shower hose fixed to wall fitting - a personal dislike as it makes it impossible to wash hair over the bath! Weird pre-authorisation of full amount for room made, then further charges for bill. We ended up at one stage with three pending charges out of our account which is fine if you have plenty of funds available in your account - we had about £800 pending charges at one point for a £300 stay. All sorted out and only exact amount paid within a few days but strange company policy which could stop people booking and returning.

This HIG was pretty good considering its location by the business park and roundabout. It was in an odd location and lots of weirdness. The reception, bar and lounge are all one large space. The restaurant was next to it and merged into another side room. The room location was like a maze and had characters which we liked and a good use of the corridor with some seatings. There was no black pudding with breakfast, unfortunately. Our room was spacious on the ground floor. Our bed was luxurious as you can see big enough with another pillow in the middle!
