The beautiful room we had and gorgeous Brasserie.

Only one issue, the chord for the hairdryer barely reached the area where there was a mirror which made styling hair difficult.

The woman on reception could have been more polite when dealing with a problem with our parking.We had booked following a link to the hotel which gave us a permit to place in the car,she argued we did not have parking booked,after some haggle she did book the parking.This was an error in the booking and there should have been an apology,not a very nice start to our stay.

Exceedingly spacious room and en suite. The air-conditioning worked well. The hotel has a couple of very comfortable sitting rooms to relax in. The breakfast was very comprehensive, eaten in the brasserie overlooking the Thames. The hotel is very conveniently placed on the banks of the Thames within easy walking distance of Windsor Castle and the town; in fact it's next to the pedestrian bridge over the river.

There was only one powerpoint on one side of the bed and that wasn't particularly close. These days when one relies on your phone to provide alarm clock facilities and which needs to be charged overnight this isn't so convenient. No clock is provided. Because the hotel is comprised of different buildings, even in the main building, there are a lot of stairs up and down, in a sort of maze, to get to your room. There are no lifts.

Great location at the Windsor Bridge where boars pass and swans live. Their terrace bar overlooking the Thames was great. Short ride to Heathrow.

The evening menu is quite poor. Expected better. Pretty much the same as the last time visited. Breakfast food, was not hot. Remained the same throughout our stay

We left some alcohol in the mini fridge. A bottle of wine which had one glass drank from it. And 3-4 bottles of beer. When i called to ask about it i was told it had never been logged by housekeeping. They couldn't help except to advise i emailed again which seemed odd given i had just told the receptionist what had happened. I didn't email as it feel away as i was busy. I was disappointed with the response. More importantly i know we left it behind.

Our room was very small with low ceilings and a window we couldn’t open or see out of. Might as well have been a dungeon.

The two double rooms we had, whilst clean varied in size - both on the small side with no view. Not easily accessible being on the 2nd floor, no lift and lots of different stairs, corridors, etc. This could have been because a Wedding was being held at the Hotel on the Friday.

The front desk staff were hostile and came across as if they would rather be anywhere but there. Lack of enthusiasm and very mono tone when dealing with our check in. We also had to wait at least 5 minutes for staff to finish chatting before even being acknowledged that we could check in

I loved the location, on the Thames, right at the end of the Windsor/Eton Bridge. The facilities were lovely, and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are excellent.

the room was clean. the bed was comfortable. the location was great. breakfast was good.

the room is dark with two high small windows overlooking the roof. the hot/cold water faucet is separated so you can't get warm water. the hot water alone will scald your skin. the location of my room is up 50 flights of stair. difficult to clime when you are 79 years old like me.

We went to Windsor races and got the boat to the course perfect the next day went to the castle all very easy to get to

The room was ok apart from the wall you had to look at every time you looked out of the window ( room 84). The noise from a group of people outside till 5 o'clock in the morning was horrendous told the receptionist in the morning and all they said was we should have rung them, it wasn't good. Probably won't go to the hotel again because of that, its a shame because we had a good day at the races and had to put up with all that noise all night, there we alot more complaints about the noise. The rooms are ugly,nothing matches and poor finish. Yellow medieval patterend curtains, one side traditional brass tie back hook, other side very shiny chtome modern hook. muted 20s style woman painting, large angular mirrored lamps, green leafy bed throw, traditional brown furntiture, 90s blue and yellow striped carpet with lumps under it and not properly fitted. Does not feel like luxury at all. Breakfast room is stunning but taste and quality of all the food was poor. We left almost every single thing we tried except tinned peaches and a banana. Total mix of premium and poor

The Coffee at breakfast was not nice, and updated coffee espresso machine would of been better. No coffee machine in our room. Disappointed when we were not allowed one when we requested one.

So a bit of a mixed review for our stay here. Our first night was awful in a room with no aircon (although we had specifically booked aircon which was verified on our confirmation). It was incredibly uncomfortable (and we come from Australia!). We asked to be moved for the second night and we had to pay extra for another room. This second room was absolutely amazing - balcony and aircon and many other little touches that the first room did not have. We were so pleased we moved and had it not been for the first room I would have rated this hotel much higher.

I didn't like that we were given a room without aircon when we had specifically asked for it and then had to pay extra to move to another room.

Advertised FRRE parking one of the main reasons for booking hotel. On arrival there was no parking or vouchers for car park. Had to spend £40 on parking. No plug sockets were working in the room and my partner had to leave with wet hair very poor. Not good value as £40 for parking added 23% to the room cost

The location is amazing. The room are spacious and very clean

The TV screen was small and old in a weird angle to the bed, it wasn't a smart TV. There was no hot water in the shower. Breakfast was disappointing. The pastries on breakfast were cold and felt a bit old. The scrambled eggs where made of powder and not tasty. The beautiful area overlooking the river was closed.

It was absolutely beautiful the staff was so welcoming, the room was extremely clean and very spacious, and the A/C was very nice The location was fantastic right on the river and so central, and the breakfast was so delicious When I go back to Windsor I will definitely be staying here

The club room was very spacious for 2 adults and 1 child. The location was perfect for easily exploring all the sites or for a leisurely walk across the bridge into Eton. Would definitely book again if staying in Windsor.

The room was huge, the bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom! The breakfast was truly exceptional, I could've stayed there all day. I was grateful that the staff helped me with my bags to my room, as I had luggage with me. Location-wise, it's 60 seconds to the Castle, the station or Eton Bridge so you can't really ask for a better situated place to stay.

There was a small gap underneath my door, so it meant that I could hear other doors opening and closing, which wasn't the best.

Great location, easy couple block walk from Windsor Castle next to Thames River. Big and beautiful room. Awesome breakfast, friendly staff. very easy location to explore Windsor and an evening stroll next to Thames. Pleasant stay for our last night on our 3 week UK adventure and short drive to airport in the morning. Little pricey, but as they say Location/location and it was a great location.

Parking was a little pricey and a couple blocks away at the railroad station- was a little challenging checking in and out with luggage since no parking area and police officer told us we we not allowed to stop for more then a minute since it was a busy location, but we managed.

Great location with access to everything. Parking booked through hotel good value. Very clean, bed very comfortable, great walk in shower and lovely towels. Air conditioning in room was good but you could also open the window .Tea and coffee/milk in room with kettle. Bathrobes available if you needed them. Breakfast buffet available with good choice. We were in an executive double in the Windsor building across the road for which there is a lift . Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast buffet bacon etc could have been a bit hotter. Reception area get quite crowded when people checking in and out. Parking spaces are tight for bigger cars but elsewhere parking can cost a lot more.

Perfect location and the amenities are great. The staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was small but very comfortable and clean and it gad AC which was a bonus in the heatwave!

The only complaint I had was I contacted the hotel to request a walk in shower and they wanted me to upgrade to guarantee a walk in shower which we didn’t do and then the normal room we were allocated had a walk in shower so we would not have needed an upgrade.

Location amazing. I booked afternoon tea for 19 people. Was amazing. 7 rooms were booked due to 90th birthday celebrations we have stayed in the hotel many times. Cooked breakfast wasn't brilliant but pastries were lovely. Staff were fantastic

Breakfast wasn't up to standards. Bacon tough. Black pudding not right. But that's the only things that weren't right. Also you could put exit signs from rooms to reception
