Everything! Everything you can expect at a hotel was available here. The only thing was I wish breakfast was available, but there was a Starbucks close by so it was okay.

Hotel ogólnie ok, z małymi wyjątkami… Wejście do hotelu-drzwi ciężko się otwierają, problem z przejściem z walizkami. Apartament ciekawie wyposażony, jednak mała ilość szafek dla 4 osób.

Przede wszystkim z informacji na stronie hotelu booking wynika, że koszt parkingu to 18$, dopiero po zaparkowaniu i zameldowaniu otrzymaliśmy kartkę z informacjami o kosztach, przy czym parking kosztował 38$. Uważam, że jest to wprowadzanie w błąd klienta. Dodatkowo naliczają dodatkową opłatę, chyba na rzecz ochrony pracowników 11$, co również było widoczne dopiero po złożeniu rezerwacji. Jest to nieuczciwa praktyka. Kolejną kwestią jest podsumowanie ceny na booking, gdzie najpierw wyliczyło nam trochę ponad 1000zl za nocleg, już z podatkiem i opłatą miejską, a ostatecznie wyszło prawie 1300zł, plus wspomniane wyżej opłaty czyli ok 1500zł za noc. Mieliśmy też nieprzyjemną sytuację, gdyż zameldowaliśmy się ok 19 w hotelu, byliśmy z dziećmi, musieliśmy się rozpakować, wykąpać, przepakować na kolejny dzień, było ok 21.30 i coś zaczęło bardzo mocno uderzać, aż ściany dudniły. Nie wiedzieliśmy o co chodzi, sytuacja powtarzała się co chwilę, do ok 21.55. Otrzymaliśmy telefon z recepcji ok 22, z pytaniem czy wszystko dobrze. Zastanawialiśmy się, o co mogło chodzić i chyba sąsiadowi za ścianą przeszkadzały nasze zwykłe rozmowy. Cisza nocna zaczyna się o 22.00, więc sąsiad chyba zbyt nerwowy

L'hotel è nuovo e ben curato, a due passi da Venice Beach. Comodo anche il parcheggio proprio a fianco. Camera spaziosa, pulita e letto comodissimo, anche il bagno molto grande. Niente moquette a terra. Distributore di caffè gratuito vicino alla reception, molto apprezzato. Peccato la mancanza di colazione.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber und Lage ist gut für Venice Beach. In die Stadt ist es relativ weit. Parkplätze komplett überteuert aber ausreichend vorhanden.

Grundsätzlich solides Hotel für ein paar Nächte. Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels auf unserem roadtrip war das allerdings das schlechteste. Die Zimmer sind sauber (leider war in unserer Dusche ein fremdes Haar), allerdings in die Jahre gekommen- vor allem das Badezimmer und der Aufzug. Die Lage ist okay, vom Venice Beach ca. 15 min zu Fuß. Zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten bzw. Die Stadt generell ist schon etwas weiter weg-ca. 30/45 Minuten mit dem Auto. Dafür dass das parken auch recht teuer ist (38 € die Nacht für einen Stellplatz) und jeweils nochmal 11 € Resort pro Nacht pro Person würden wir sicherlich nicht wieder kommen und eher was nehmen was ein besseres Preis Leistung Verhältnis hat. Zusätzlich ist es sehr laut im Zimmer, durch die Straße und die sehr dünnen Fenster.

Really cute boutique hotel. I booked as a little stay-cation for my birthday, I would definitely stay here again. It is a short Uber ride to the beach and fun bars.

Struttura molto carina e situata nel cuore di Venice. Molto carini gli spazi all'aperto, in particolare la zona piscina e le aree dedicate al relax e ai pasti.

Il personale è accogliente ma poco disponibile. La camera è piacevole, ma il condizionatore era decisamente troppo rumoroso. Nota negativa per il servizio in camera: l'app ha addebitato l'importo sul conto senza però completare l'ordine. I corridoi per arrivare alla camera sono molto dispersivi e a volte poco chiari.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and I loved that I could control the temperature. The outside spaces with hammocks and pool were nice. I loved that I could leave my luggage after checkout.

Le personnel a accepté de nous changer de chambre pour les deux nuits restantes mais nous avons dû demander à parler au manager pour être rassurées sur cette seconde chambre car le personnel d’accueil ne semblait pas trop alarmé par la situation.

Struttura pulita, accogliente, inclusiva. Non c’è colazione prevista ma c’è un caffè nelle immediate vicinanze e anche un servizio a domicilio ordinando online da vari locali. Inoltre nella hall ci sono vari snack da consumare a pagamento. La posizione è buona per chi si muove in macchina, vicina a molti punti di ristorazione nonché alla spiaggia ma muoversi a piedi sarebbe un po’ complicato. Magari si possono affittare biciclette.

bed is on the softer side, sofa bed was very soft and we had anticipated that 2 kids wouldnt be able to sleep on it so pre-ordered a roll-in bed which was not there when we arrived late at night so we had to wait ~40mins for them to deliver.

The cost of parking was extreme.

One staff member attempted to charge us for the room even though was already paid, with proof, and when she checked and explained it was an issue on their end, no apology was given. The room smelled when we arrived and lingered for the entire stay.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié l’emplacement de l’hôtel, très pratique pour découvrir Los Angeles et notamment le secteur de Venice et Marina del Rey. L’ambiance du Kinney est originale, moderne et décontractée, avec une décoration colorée qui change des hôtels plus classiques. La chambre était agréable et l’atmosphère générale conviviale, ce qui correspond parfaitement à l’esprit californien.

La propreté de la chambre était malheureusement décevante, notamment dans la salle de bains où nous avons trouvé des cheveux à notre arrivée. Nous avions réservé une chambre pour quatre personnes avec deux grands lits, mais à notre arrivée, nous avons découvert qu’il n’y avait qu’un lit et un canapé-lit, qui n’était même pas préparé, alors que la réservation était bien prévue pour une famille de quatre personnes. Heureusement, l’hôtel a été très réactif : après l’avoir signalé, le personnel a rapidement fait monter deux lits d’appoint et s’est occupé de les préparer. Autre petit désagrément : il n’y avait pas suffisamment de serviettes pour quatre personnes et nous avons dû en demander des supplémentaires. Enfin, même si l’emplacement est pratique pour visiter Venice et Marina del Rey, les alentours immédiats de l’hôtel ne sont pas très agréables le soir. Nous ne nous sommes pas sentis totalement à l’aise en rentrant à pied et je conseillerais d’être vigilant une fois la nuit tombée.

In generale tutto ok, abbiamo soltanto avuto un problema con l’upgrade della camera. Avevamo richiesto l’upgrade della camera dopo aver ricevuto una mail in cui si chiedeva se fossimo interessati ad un upgrade, ma arrivati in struttura abbiamo scoperto che che si trattava più di un downgrade che di un upgrade in quanto siamo passati da due letti king size a un letto king size e un divano letto. Dopo un paio di discussioni con lo staff, per scusarsi non ci hanno fatto pagare il parcheggio (38$ a notte).

When we got there we were told that there would be fire alarm inspections the following day from 10-11. So the following day we were out until around noon. When we got back the testing was still happening so we decided we would go to the beach. My husband opened the door to see about the noise. Just then one of the fire alarm inspectors shoved past him and walked into the room. He didn’t say may I enter or excuse me or anything. Luckily, I had just put a bra on, but I definitely wasn’t expecting for a stranger to just barge into our room. We went immediately to the front desk and told them what happened. They agreed that it was inappropriate and that they are supposed to knock before entering the room. They said the manager would call me. The manager never called. I wrote a review on booking hoping for some sort of apology or something for this breach of privacy and I got nothing. Not even to be told that they had talked to the man or reprimanded him. In fact, in one of my reviews they called me a liar. I’m not one to write 1 star reviews, but the initial situation and the actions that followed made this hard to ignore.

The property itself was decent. It has a weird vibe. The outdoor spaces were okay. They have a nice hot tub/ pool area, and hammocks.

There is strange artwork throughout the property and in the rooms. There were only two channels on the tv. The main issue we had was that they were running fire alarm inspections the whole day. They told us it would stop at 11 so we went out out for a bit, when we came back at around noon and they were still doing the inspections. We went to our room to change to go to the beach. The alarms were still going off and so loud I had to cover my ears to avoid the pain from the sound. My husband stepped out to try and escape the noise in the room. As he stepped out the door, one of the workers aggressively ran into the room and two others were standing at the door, while I was changing, and said “okay sounds good” and walked back out. Needless to say, we were really upset and taken back by the interaction. We went to the front desks to complain where they agreed that it was super inappropriate and said that the workers were not supposed to enter the room and that they would have the manager call me. The manager never called. The stay was unsatisfying and we expected some sort of compensation for the breach of privacy and for the constant loud alarms that went off for a majority of the day.

We stayed at the Kinney for 3 days in June with kids. The hotel itself was fun & stylish with well appointed rooms. It's well located a quick 15(ish) minute walk to Venice Beach. The kids loved the small pool after long days exploring LA.

Non c’è possibilità di usufruire del servizio colazione, ma nelle vicinanze ci sono vari posti. Personale cortese.

I liked that it was walking distance to many stores and restaurants. The parking was very safe,convenient, and efficient. I also thought there were a lot of hotel amenities to hangout that allowed my stay to be very relaxing!

There was an interesting smell in the room upon arrival and the windows did not fully open to air-out the room.

A highly recommended hotel. Everything was truly fantastic, and I honestly don't have a single complaint. The hotel has direct access to the beach, which was extremely important to me and made my stay even more enjoyable.

Grundsätzlich ist die Lage des Hotels nicht schlecht. Es ist aber nicht im Zentrum und deshalb ist man auf ein Fahrzeug angewiesen. Man kann auch zu Fuss zum Venice Beach spazieren - ca. 20 Minuten. Auf dem Rückweg in der Dunkelheit empfehlen wir ein Uber. Umliegend findet man einige feine Restaurants, welche zu Fuss erreichbar sind.

Der Pool sieht nicht wirklich appetitlich aus... war etwas schade...

Great facilities, especially the pool and hot tub which the kids loved. Fifteen minute walk from Mothers beach. great food at Wacky Wok and Paisita just across the road and a liquor store next door for drinks and snacks. beds were comfortable and room was clean and spacious Very quiet.

air con was not very strong and avoided the Vyblee in room dining. we were charged for food that never arrived, promised a refund and then ignored when we followed up. Vyblee is not part of the hotel, so you don’t have to use it - use uber eats or door dash instead.

The Kinney is a modern, stylish, and well-maintained hotel. Everything was clean, colourful, and thoughtfully designed, and the property looked exactly like the photos. The location is excellent for exploring the area. We enjoyed walking to the Venice Canal Historic District, Venice Beach, and Marina Del Rey Beach. By car, it is also a short drive to downtown Santa Monica and the main Santa Monica Beach area. Paid parking is available on-site, but we also found street parking nearby. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

The Kinney est très design. La chambre est spacieuse, très bien décorée, propre. Le lit est très confortable. A l'accueil la personne qui parle français (la seule rencontrée lors de notre road trip) était très gentille, à l'écoute et pleine de bons conseils. Les velos sont un plus car très pratiques pour se rendre à Venice Beach et Santa Monica. Dommage qu'ils soient payants.

EVERYTHING! To be honest, I was very skeptical about this hotel at first. However, I can confidently say that I was completely proven wrong. My experience exceeded every expectation, and I am genuinely impressed. The staff is absolutely exceptional—attentive, helpful, kind, professional, and, most importantly, genuinely caring. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt welcomed and valued. Every interaction was pleasant, and it was clear that the team truly cares about creating the best possible experience for their guests. The rooms were impeccably maintained throughout our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. I can honestly say that I have zero complaints—literally none. It is rare to stay somewhere and not find a single thing to criticize, but that was exactly the case here. What impressed me the most was the willingness of the staff to go above and beyond whenever assistance was needed. No request seemed too small, and every question was met with genuine enthusiasm and a desire to help. I have stayed at many hotels over the years, but I have never experienced this level of attentiveness and hospitality. A special shoutout to Heidi, who was absolutely wonderful. She was always smiling, always welcoming, and always ready to help in any way possible. She truly made our stay even more enjoyable and is a fantastic representative of the hotel’s commitment to excellent service. As for the location, it is excellent. The Kinney is conveniently situated near everything you need. Los Angeles is an enormous city, so it is unrealistic to expect any hotel to be next to every attraction, but this location offers great accessibility and convenience. If you are wondering where to stay while visiting Los Angeles, I wholeheartedly recommend The Kinney. In terms of overall accommodation, service, and hospitality, this has been one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.
