Parking veel te duur
The pool and staff. Our room was beautiful ❤️
No hot tub
The roof top pool was very nice!
A person behind us got stuck in the elevator and luckily we got out of it before we could get stuck.
Location a bit secluded , entrance near public parking
The breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect
We got a handicapped room and it was a little far away from the elevator
Everyone was nice and helpful
Tub did not drain, parking too expensive, breakfast too much
Les chambres sentent la moisissure
The young lady who was there in the breakfast area was very kind
I loved the rooftop pool
Nothing
The manager was exceptional. Other front desk staff did not seem as interested in helping with customer needs or requests. Pool b was great.
Cost of breakfast was too high.
The location
Not the usual holiday inn feel our services and tremendously overpriced
Liked the location, blue line teain right on the corner. Pool on the roof was so fun for the kids. And liked the size of the room and the helpful staff. Housekeeping was great too.
The sleep sofa, the floor would be more comfortable. And I told the staff about a cockroach in the ladies restroom downstairs, hours later it was still there partly covered by a tissue 🤷🏻♀️. Not all lights are working.
Proximity to Union Station
Lack of dinning option nearby. Tired and needing some TLC
I just wanted to thank Alina, Maya, and Salvador for their help in making sure a critical piece of equipment I needed overnighted to the hotel was received without flaw. They took the matter seriously and I am thankful as I had no room for error. Very excellent customer service!!!
It is close to Union station, the staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool area was really nice too!
Overall the hotel is adequate The room was clean but outdated. We were unable to close blinds and had bright light shining in room All night. Staff was professional and friendly. Extra charge seemed excessive and learned about when checking in. Also 65 dollar a night. Charge for parking adds to overall cost. Breakfast was extra 22 dollars so we skipped breaks. Outdoor pool on rooftop nice.
Service,pool,beds
Fridge did not work well..
The breakfast was excellent
None
They are all thief’s
The cleaners are thief’s , left my money came back and it was stolen by room service
This place was okay, but not notable. Our room was small but adequate, beds were comfortable enough, breakfast was pretty good, and the staff were helpful, friendly and very patient with our large group which included small kids. However, this may be the only Chicago hotel with no nearby restaurants. Also, we are pretty impervious to traffic and other street noise, but if you're not, you may not find it restful.
We took an Amtrak that arrived at Union Station at 11:40am. We were able to check-in at 1:14pm. That was very much appreciated, considering check-in isn’t officially until 3:00pm. All of the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. When we tried to check in around noon, our room was not ready yet, but they offered to hold our luggage so we could grab lunch while we waited. We also really appreciated the quality of the hand soap and lotion in the bathroom!
We had a King Suite. Very nice. The bathroom was quite small for a King Suite, and the pull-out couch was not very comfortable. We also had to request extra pillows for the pull-out:
The property was overpriced at $375 per night based on condition of the property. There were fees attached to the bill I was unaware of when making the reservation. The room had a musty smell. There were cracks in the ceiling. There was an ant on the bed. The only good thing to report was the bed was solid and the room quiet. Probably the worst stay I had all year.
Cleanliness
Limited parking
The worker at the breakfast buffet was the sweetest greatest asset to this company
Limited parking and having to pay for parking
Not much - the room itself was fine I suppose
The location is absolutely terrible. It’s literally on the highway so it’s impossible to sleep. Super loud.
Was clean
Charge me double
Very clean and modern interior.
There was no cafe or restaurant within the premises.
Our stay at the Des Plaines was very pleasant. The front desk staff were very helpful and professional.
Clean, great location, friendly staff.
Location,
Breakfast wasn’t complimentary
The cold reception I got when checking in.

It was close to the train station and the staff (Andy) was phenomenal

Rent och prydligt på rummet
Ganska slitet hotell. Frukosten var dyr men verkligen inte speciell.
It was a walkable distance to the train station and rental car place. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. The location felt safe with people walking and coming from the subway station in the nect block. There's a Himalayan/Indian restaurant next door that had delicious food, too.
Convenient location Convenient check in and check out Nice room set up Bed comfortable
Paid for parking when the lot below was available for free
El desayuno no estaba incluido y habia muy pocas opciones para desayunar en el hotel
Había un poco de ruido
The hotel and the room where clean and functional—no unpleasant surprises. The neighborhood isn't really amazing, but the hotel is right next to the Clinton metro station (Blue Line). There are also buses nearby. The hotel parking lot is very small; it is not a "valet parking" service—as I had read in older reviews—but rather consists of spaces that must be reserved in advance (at the time of booking your room). All the spaces were already reserved upon our arrival, so we went to the parking lot located just below, which is independent of the hotel and can be booked via the SpotHero app (address: 519 S Clinton). It cost us $50 for two nights. The staff is very nice. The breakfast is classic, good, and generous (eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, sliced bread, croissants, pancakes, fruit, yogurt....). My kids were really happy that there was NOT a TV in the breakfast room. The atmosphere is calmer! The bathroom is very small and poorly ventilated. The showerhead does not offer multiple spray settings, so you cannot get a stronger flow. We had a suite with a kitchenette equipped with: fridge, microwave, sink, cupboards (there are no burners, plates or dishes). Please note: you can hear the flow of traffic beneath the hotel windows 24 hours a day. It didn't keep us from sleeping, but bring earplugs if you prefer absolute silence. In the entrance hall, you can purchase snacks, drinks, frozen meals to heat up in the microwave, and emergency supplies (cotton swabs, sanitary pads, etc.). We enjoyed our stay; everything went very well!
Great welcoming staff. Convenient location. Rooms were comfortable and the hotel felt secure.
The property is very clean, and very quiet. The rooms were clean the hallways were clean it was just overall very clean and very quiet.
The smell when I opened the door to my room it smelled like it had been closed up for a long time. It wasn’t a nice calm hotel scent. Other than that everything was perfect! After a while I no longer smelled the smell.
I like the location to McCormick place!
We had a giant cockroach, in our an it was really gross
Check in was excellent. The agent at check was very helpful, friendly, courteous and professional.
Street and sidewalk construction. No fault of HI.
Nothing the lady at the front desk was very rude and had an attitude
Everything she didn’t allow us to check in or even allowed us to pay the rest of the money because of my ID being on my phone
It’s peaceful

The front desk staff was great! Carlis and Aina gave us excellent recommendations about the tain and local sights.
The sofa bed was difficult to open.
I felt safe here
People sleeping in the lobby
What compelled me to book this hotel was the fact that there was a subway station right next door. That made it very easy to get around the city. I appreciated the level of politeness at the front desk and the amenities found in the room.
The only main drawback is that the hotel is surrounded by very little in terms of convenience stores during off-peak hours. Walking to nearby restaurants or other retail takes considerable time if you don't have a car.
Centrally located
Front desk staff didnt communicate our late checkout, causing housekeeping to walk into the room TWICE without knocking. Doors/walls are thin. Whole facility is a bit dated and needs some TLC.
Location was good close to where I needed to go.
Not having to pay 65$ for parking. I personally think it's ridiculous.

It wa s fantastic location for our needs.
We had to complain about a very annoying high pitched beep. It was something malfunctioning with the night stand decides. We forgot until it was bedtime as only annoying when it got super quiet. They apologized and let my daughter check out late but I had to leave early that last day.
The location & room clean
We stayed next to a younger group of girls, who were having some kind of party, multiple groups of guys showed up a whole lot of traffic and walked.\nAround with basically no clothes on. This stay was very uncomfortable. I asked the staff to assist, they lowered the volume for about 1hr and turned it right back up they didn't stop the music until about 2:30AM, trying to sleep through the night of our stay was horrible!
The bed was comfortable
Bathroom extremely small. Parking$65 a night.
Easy check in check out
Excellent
Longer stay as our train was late
Oh my where do I start the location is surrounded by plenty of delicious food options within a two block radius max. Every part of the hotel I seen was amazing and sparkling clean
Nothing.
The hotel was fairly new in appearance. The room was well kept, the furniture was in good condition, the linens were of good quality as were the pillows. the bed was comfortable. We all felt comfortable in this room.
When the traffic on Ida B Wells was loud, like motorcycles and the like, you could hear it through the air conditioning vents. Also, the vent for the bathroom did not seem to be working well.
Staff was great! Room was clean. Bed very comfortable! Close to Soldier Field, as I was in town for the playoff game.
Parking is limited. I feel like the breakfast should be included, as it is nothing special and other hotels offer it at no additional charge.
Muy cerca de la estación de línea azul L para el aeropuerto
Habitación muy pequeña, nos salió una cucaracha, como es hotel pequeño no hay vista
Location
parking fee was ridiculous, no complimentary breakfast
I booked a room with double queen beds, but found a king only room, and there were no other rooms that matched what I booked. Very disappointed
I like everything about this hotel. I can see this is a new, modern building with nice interior. The room is spacious. You can ask for tooth paste and tooth brush at the reception with no charge. The lobby interior is very nice and modern with lots of artsy stuffs, room is super clean and modern, location is perfect. Breakfast also very good as they provide various items from eggs, sausage, potatoes - til pastries, fruits, fresh juices and yoghurt. They also provide home made jams in the cute bottles. The best part of this hotel is the staffs. From receptionist Alina and the Dude), the room services and staffs at breakfast room - they are super nice and accomodated. Highly recommended ! I will definitely go back :).
Nothing !
Very clean, close to United Center and highway, friendly staff
Elevator seemed a tad older
Localização, ao lado da blue line
Arrumacao do quarto. Na sexta, voltei às 16h00 e o quarto ainda estava desarrumado. Passaram apenas às 16h30 para arrumar. Nunca tiraram a cama extra do quarto.
Excellent hospitality and facilities!
Location
No parking available Not clean room, elevator. Very outdated The room smelled like WEED!
The front desk rep
That there was no indoor pool like there was in the photos on booking.com and tried to charge us 22 per person when it showed included.
