Very expensive, but convenient for someone that has never been to Chicago. If I go again I will be able to find a much less expensive hotel and feel just as safe.

I like my location and my room. Hotel was close to Solider field. I came to see R&B Tour Usher & Chris Brown concert.

I had to wait 30 min get my room it wasn't too bad Sean at the front desk did a great job checking people in alone.

I received a very large room with a small kitchen, microwave, closet, and a very spacious desk to work on. Great views from the corner room of the city.

Breakfast was a joke, you get a voucher for 26 USD worth of food, which is good for nothing basically, a small egg, two toasts, and a coffee. So if we ignore the breakfast, the rest was great.

Front staff were exceptionally nice.

The rooms were very nice.

The parking was an additional $65 a night. The pillows were terrible and flat. I was charged an additional $75 when I got there, not sure what for. To be honest for a one night stay the price was incredibly high.

TL;DR: Great hotel, definitely would stay here again! Service: All the staff were really helpful and nice. I can't say enough good things about them. Special shoutout for Jasmarie at the front desk: I had arrived way earlier than check-in time before rooms were ready, so I decided to work in the lobby for a few hours. During those few hours, I peppered her with several questions and she was so nice about answering them all. Really appreciated her patience. Also a shoutout for the engineer to came to my room because I had issues with the HVAC. He went above and beyond to ensure my issue was addressed (checked things were ok on their side, then checked my room, then went back to check things on their side, then came back with a ladder to fix something, not sure what because I was on a call). Room: Spacious, clean, and comfortable. My room looks like it was updated pretty recently, as the bathroom had new fixtures. Only "complaint" was water pressure in the shower was sad, and it took forever to fully wet my hair and rinse out the shampoo every time. Location: Lots of restaurants around, coffee options, and a Van Leeuwen ice cream shop is right across the street! Super convenient.

What I appreciated about the hotel was its location; it wasn't too busy in the mornings or at night. The cleanliness and the quality of the room were excellent for both my wife and me. Additionally, I enjoyed the rooftop patio, which offered a variety of food and drinks.

The bed sheets and mattress were of low quality, making them somewhat uncomfortable, but still sleepable.

Give me a connecting room; room is cold; breakfast is option limiting and not tasty; the clothe-set is very very narrow; do not have slippery; actually I think it only worth 120 dollars but it cost me 320 per night

This is a great place to stay. It's incredibly convenient to Union Station, so I love to stay here when I take Amtrak to Chicago. And Uber pick-up right out front is easy. The staff was wonderfully welcoming, and, though I was early and my selected room wasn't ready yet, they were able to find me a room that was. The room was attractive, comfortable, clean, and quite pleasant. Security (key card needed for elevator and late-night entry) is present without being intrusive. And being able to purchase a snack in the lobby late at night is handy. The restaurant is in the connected Canopy Hotel, and I had an excellent breakfast.

Great location. Easy to reach out all main Chicago attractions by walking. Only missed the rooftop restaurant which was closed.

We had an amazing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Central Loop during our three day weekend to come see the great Gatsby! The hotel building is historical and just beautiful! We chose this location where it’s close proximity to the Cadillac Theatre. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. The amenities are all wonderful, but the best part was meeting Anisa at our check-in time! She was so kind and filled with amazing advice to make her stay even more fun!

Even though the view wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for, we still enjoyed staying here. The atmosphere was nice and the room was very clean. The location was very central to everything we needed. We got what we paid for and the receptionist Anisa was a great help with everything we needed.

The main issue was that I got charged around 33% more than the price that was shown on Booking, paid with a credit card on site. It was difficult to notice it at first since it was my first time in the US, and the hotel reserved a deposit for each night of the stay, which was ultimately returned to me. This deposit initially clouded the total price for me, which I only realised after getting back home to Europe. Booking tried to contact Hilton, received no response, thus promised that the difference would be deposited back to me from Booking's side, after which they would stay to deal with Hilton to cover themselves for the difference. Its been 1.5 months and the issue is still not resolved. Other issues with the property - the room was cold, with no option to raise the temperature (the weather outside was cold as well). This led to the heater starting and stopping quite frequently, and the noise of it shutting down was pretty loud - heard as a bang somewhere above the bed, as if there was a sort of a valve that had a really loud and unsmooth closing sound. I logged onto the TV with my Youtube channel, but no matter if I shut the TV off - next time I turned it on it was always playing these random Hilton videos on Youtube, cluttering my view history with these random videos and messing up my algorithm. I guess that's one way of collecting views huh.

Great hotel. I stayed on the Canopy side. Just a few blocks from the Field and the mile. Right next to Willis Tower. Great restaurant and the gym was in great shape. Can’t say enough nice things about it.

L'eau de la douche était tout juste chaude, sans plus. J'en ai fait la remarque tous les matins au front desk, qui me répondait "je vais demander à notre ingénieur" de s'en occuper, mais rien n'a changé. Il y a dans cet hôtel des bruits toute la nuit dont nous n'avons pas localisé la provenance, bruits de tuyauteries? Portes qui claquent avec le vent?

We had a corner room that was very spacious. Large and very comfortable bed. Blackout blinds that helped with adjusting to time difference. Very clean and would stay again. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful with everything. Location was close to city centre but also a gave a little buffer to escape any noise. Transport was easily accessible.

It was not a big deal, but the water did not get to a very hot temp in the shower. The bathroom and shower were lovely and clean though.

Overall great experience

The front staff was amazing. They were very helpful in suggesting things to do snd getting us to the different places like the skydeck and navy pier. The rooms were clean and updated. I highly recommend staying here.

Friendly service. Check-in was fast and easy - I used the Hilton on-line process and was able to select the room I wanted. Bed quality was great and had very restful sleep. Room was spotless and plenty of space

The check in person was friendly and explained everything to the couple before us but when we stepped up to counter she only asked my name and for my credit card. She the charged my card after j told her that I already paid through booking. She just ignored me. I had to call my card to dispute the charges which took several weeks.

This hotel is wonderful. But what makes it extra extraordinary is the people. Especially Kevin behind the bar. He was exceptional. He cared about our journey, served us with excitement and a joy that felt so authentic. Our stay here was so wonderful because the people who worked there seem like they really care about you.

The location is fantastic - across from the Sears Tower, and several shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the air conditioning maintained 67° (the lowest setting). Would definitely stay here again.
