Very clean! The hotel was beautiful, nice and clean food options as well as a convenience store located in the lobby. The pool was great. Our room was on the 8th floor facing the mountains which was beautiful with the floor to seal windows. The staff was really nice and helpful and can't forget the delicious cookies and water we were greeted with at check-in. My TV also greeted us with our family name.,

This hotel is small but mighty. When I arrived, the front desk staff was so welcoming and accommodated a couple of things I needed without making a big deal out of it. They were cheerful and kind. My room is fantastic! I went to get coffee from a woman named Jasmine who welcomed me with joy at 5:30 am. I can’t believe this customer service. It’s impeccable.

A comfortable stop on our road trip. Large, clean rooms. Located a 20-minute drive from Laguna Beach and a 5-minute drive to a major shopping mall, which provided us with alternative breakfast and dining options. They also had a pool, bar + restaurant on site which we did not use.

The staff was superb, the front desk as well as the bartenders! The bed/pillows were comfortable.

The television in the room did't really work. Once we were able to get it going after turning it off and then on again a few times, the sound was faulty and not in sinc. In addition, the elevators were very odd. They were on both side of the hallway but you had to stand way back to see which door opened as they were both on the same switch.

We stayed for 3 nights and had asked for daily housekeeping. After first night and as we left the room the next morning, (housekeeping was next door) we said hello and left. On our return, no housekeeping was done. We called for additional towels at the front desk and inquired if they were mistaken in not cleaning our room. Front desk confirmed that they did note daily cleaning. After an hour of waiting for the towels, we had to call again to remind them of our towels. They made our beds the next day but did not change the sheets. All they did was make the bed. It would have been nice if they had clarified what daily housekeeping meant: no new towels or changing of sheets for our 3 night stay. Service wise, I feel it was lacking. Room was at least clean.

When it came time to plan my 50th birthday celebration, I wanted a venue that would make this milestone truly special. After a disappointing experience with my original venue, I was relieved to discover the DoubleTree by Hilton Irvine – Spectrum. From my very first visit, I knew I had found the perfect place, and it exceeded all of my expectations. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Catering Sales Manager Noel Vasin and the outstanding staff members Julie and Alex. From the beginning, they were professional, accommodating, and genuinely committed to making my event a success. Their guidance and attention to detail made the planning process smooth and stress-free. The venue itself is beautiful. Guests were welcomed through an elegant foyer, where I was able to create a stunning entrance with balloon decorations lining the hallway. The banquet room was the perfect setting for my celebration, and I was extremely pleased with the room layout, table arrangements, and overall presentation. The hotel also provided round mirrors and votive candles that beautifully complemented my centerpieces and enhanced the décor. The food was excellent. I selected the chicken and salmon entrées for my guests, and throughout the evening I received numerous compliments on both selections. Everything was prepared perfectly and served promptly. The cash bar was a great addition, and the champagne toast helped make the evening feel even more festive and memorable. What truly set this venue apart was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member was attentive, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Their professionalism allowed me to relax and fully enjoy celebrating this important milestone with my family and friends. This celebration was especially meaningful to me because it took place shortly after the loss of my mother. During a difficult time in my life, the kindness, compassion, and professionalism shown by the DoubleTree team helped create an evening filled with joy, love, and cherished memories that I will never forget. Thank you again to Noel, Julie, Alex, and the entire DoubleTree team for helping make my 50th birthday celebration such a wonderful success. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel and had such phenomenal service. The manager and staff accommodated every request immediately and with joy. Jasmine, and Gilbert in the morning. Desi and Deanna in the bar at night. I felt like I was at "Cheers" by the friendliness of these bartenders! The food was just amazing at 90 Pacifica. Always served super hot and the presentation was lovely and inviting. The coffee/snack area was open 24/7 and the sandwiches available there (especially the chicken Capresi) were delicious. We were there with family and there were so many different areas in which to gather. When I asked for something, I never felt like I bothered anyone. This is a great place to stay everytime we come down to the southern cal area. From the clean exceptional accommodations and amenities, to the great well rounded delicious menu at their 90 Pacifica restaurant & Bar or getting snack or latte at their Blend store. The rooms are well kept and very clean with nice smart tv's if your feeling to stay in to catch up for series binge stream. If you need shopping take their shuttle to the Spectrum Mall which will drop you off and pick you up. But what really keeps us coming back is the committed staff who are always ready to help out with anything you need no matter how busy, late or not so busy it is with genuine smiles. In our experience, this is a rare find in the service industry where you able to find a few individuals from the staff that are great and the rest of them you deal with are just ehh... My shouts out to: Deanne...the great mixologist, Desi...Thanks for the tasty Latte! Denise, Laura, & Emir...No matter how busy or late it is you Rock! Gilbert & Robert...Your impeccable service at breakfast is exceptional! Blanca....Thanks for stopping and asking us if we needed anything for our rooms even though we were good. P.S. Don't forget their delicious Double Tree cookies as they are truly delectable!

This hotel is centrally located to Irvine spectrum shopping center. Hotel is decent and very clean. Our room was very nicely appointed. Our bed here was better than the Embassy Suites we stayed at previously. Only downsides were: 1) parking: no markings on how to access the parking lot. I saw other drivers frustrated by this as well. One kiosk marked with instructions, the other leaves it up to you. 2) Shower. I wanted to give this an A+, but there is one concern here and that is slipping. The bottom shower pan is real slippery when water is applied so be careful. Enter shower from left, then turn water on. I didn't do this and almost slipped. Shower head, pressure and temperature of water is excellent. 3) Toilet. There is some weird maybe water saving feature that didn't work too well. It liked to keep the toilet running during flushes. Holing the handle down seemed to fix this. Low noise and very good temperature controls. Nice big screen tv to unwind in bed after a long day. Great spacious room and nice in room amenities. Now that I have the parking figured out, I'd stay here again but hold on to the handle bar when getting into the shower.

This Hotel is unique. It is clean organized and the rooms, restaurant, immaculate grounds and most importantly,Customer Service. I would like to recognize a few outstanding employees. Deanne at the bar is always up and ready to make your experience, one of a kind. Front Desk Laura and Denise were great. Gilbert at the breakfast buffet went above and beyond every morning. Alma serviced our room with the utmost care. The food in the restaurant was unbelievable. I recommend this Hotel whole heartedly

Good location, great food at the restaurant and customer service at the restaurant was great. The check in was rough. Only in person was helping someone at the desk and another person was on the phone. Neither one even acknowledged us even though the one helping in person was waiting for the customer checking in to find their card in their bag. She looked annoyed and like she didn’t want to be there. Finally the girl that was on the phone finished up and helped us. She was nice and friendly once we were helped. I was traveling alone with my two kids so sitting there waiting for 5 minutes wasn’t a great way to start the stay.

I have stayed here before and everything was great, I slept well and no problems. This time the beds were so hard and uncomfortable. My daughter and I both were sore in the morning. The bathroom light also didn’t work properly. It would turn on just fine and then the next time not work. I got sick of it so kept it on the rest of our stay to not deal with it. The toilet also kept running so we had to keep jiggling the handle. The person down the hall had a little yappy dog that would bark once an hour, every hour until we finally were able to sleep. And there was also someone playing loud music on a floor under us. It was disappointing because the first time we stayed there it had been close to perfect. It makes me weary to try again, especially since this isn’t a cheap hotel.

This doubletree is probably the best one I’ve ever stayed at due to its cleanliness, 24 hour store, and most importantly, its excellent employees. Denise, Jasmine, and Gilbert all went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

I had the pleasure at staying at Doubletree Hilton Irvine Spectrum for a business trip and truly had a wonderful experience and stay! The staff here is incredibly kind and helpful. Maggie at the front desk helped answer any questions and made check out very easy. Gilbert was an exceptional waiter every morning and breakfast as well. He was kind and personable! As well as the other wait staff. I got a coffee at the coffee shop every morning from Jasmine who was also very sweet. Thanks again for a wonderful trip and what a great staff you have! Riley M

I thought it was ridiculous that they made you pay $35 for parking and the cocktails in the lobby being $20- $22 each was crazy and made us not eat at the restaurant.

Denise was absolutely amazing to work with. I had specific requests and she did everything im her power to meet the requests. She communicated clearly and followed up when needed. The hotel was clean and made the stay great. A large part of our great experience was due to Denise!!

Stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Irvine Spectrum for the first time and had a great experience. My family was visiting from Arizona and we spent a couple of days together enjoying the stay. Sophia at the front desk was very helpful and made us feel welcome right away. Alex at the bar recommended the burger, which was excellent. My wife also tried the chocolate espresso martini and absolutely loved it! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it. Thank you!

My family and I stayed at the Doubletree Hilton Irvine Spectrum Feb 6 thru Feb 8, 2026, for two days of club soccer. From day one the staff was great. They were attentive and had answers and solutions for everything that came up. I especially wanted to thank Gilbert in the dinning room/kitchen. He was amazing and made sure each of our families staying the weekend were taken care of, he took time to talk, check on everyone and ensure our time at this hotel was a postive experience. On February 7, our team received a message that our game for the 8th had been cancelled, unfortunately not until 4pm, and we had also prepaid a team dinner for 6pm, which was far to late to cancel the reservations and dinner. The manager on duty, Jeremy Yujico, was gracious and tried to accommodate our team and make the best of a bumpy situation. This was much appreciated. The staff at this hotel from the front desk staff, to the young lady working in the "Blend Cafe" was friendly, helpful and made a long weekend positive from beginning to end. Thank you.

We hosted a business conference at the DoubleTree Hotel in Irvine on January 29, 2026, and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. We had over 25 principals traveling from multiple states, with stays ranging from 2–5 nights, and the coordination could not have gone more smoothly. A huge part of that success was thanks to Samantha Medrano, Executive Meeting Manager, who was absolutely outstanding. Samantha assisted us with room block bookings, conference room setup, and food and coffee break preparation, and she handled every detail with patience, grace, and genuine kindness. She worked closely with us to ensure the conference room was set up exactly as requested and was incredibly accommodating with all of our needs and last-minute requests. Her responsiveness, professionalism, and calm demeanor made the entire planning process stress-free. The guest rooms were comfortable, and our principals had nothing but positive feedback and no complaints throughout their stay. The hotel staff overall provided excellent service, the meeting space was well-organized and comfortable, and the food and beverage service was timely and well prepared. Our attendees felt well taken care of, which made a big difference in the success of our event. I highly recommend the DoubleTree Hotel in Irvine for any business conference, corporate event or even casual stay especially commend Samantha Medrano for going above and beyond. We would absolutely host another event here in the future.

It’s good parking fee is a bit high such a nice hotel parking should be free. It’s not like a huge downtown or limited space they should consider about this.

Our room smelled like floor chemicals and there was no window that opened for fresh air. There is no fan for the bathroom and we did not know that there as a charge for parking.

I’m going to be honest, this visit to Irvine at the Doubletree Hilton was above and beyond my expectations. The front desk, bar staff, and shuttle services were so kind and accommodating, especially for such a large group. A special shout out for both Issam and Nelson, who took care of me and my team all week with such professionalism and kindness. Their attention to us daily by providing free transportation was greatly appreciated. If I go back to Irvine, I’d definitely stay here again. Issam — I made it :,D

I got scammed from this experience. False promises and no accountability from staff. This Staff Denise kept saying no problem, we will take care of it and on the day of the reservation, she said, oh, we cant do anything about it after dealing with her days before. Unbelievable. and truly disappointing.

There are vendors, there are venue partners, and then there are people who genuinely change your entire experience. Noel Vasin is that person. From the very beginning, Noel was not only incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but also one of the most nurturing, supportive, and genuinely caring people I have ever worked with in this industry. She made us feel safe, supported, and fully taken care of from day one. On the day of the event especially, Noel truly went above and beyond in a way that cannot be overstated. She handled all day-of coordination and support so seamlessly that I was able to be fully present, calm, and actually enjoy the celebration. As an Event Producer, letting go on the day of an event is not easy but Noel made it effortless. She anticipated needs before they were voiced, handled details quietly and efficiently, and made sure everything flowed exactly as it should without ever making it feel stressful or chaotic. What sets Noel apart is not just her expertise, but her heart. She leads with kindness, patience, and a level of care that makes you feel like your event truly matters to her. She treated our engagement party as if it were her own, and that level of dedication is rare. We felt supported every step of the way, and knowing Noel was there allowed us to fully trust the process. We are endlessly grateful for her, and anyone who has the opportunity to work with Noel is truly in the best hands possible.

The Doubletree - Spectrum Irvine has become our preferred place to stay when we visit our family and grandchildren. The hotel is very well maintained, very clean and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. I would like to especially recognize one of the front desk staff. His name is Derek. Derek has been very helpful if we have special request of other hospital staff. Always friendly and always with a smile. We look forward to seeing him on our visits. Very nice gentleman. I would also like to recognize the hotel’s food and beverage manager, Julie. Julie has always helped us willingly and with a smile: very friendly and professional . She took care of us one day with a quick lunch without hesitation when (unbeknownst to us) the restaurant was already closed after the lunch time. We are extremely happy with the Doubletree after a couple of visits to other hotels which were not to our liking. We will return again a number of future visits to SoCal.

Love the friendliness of the staff, especially Alyssa, who remembered us and gave us excellent service the first time so we wanted to come back. This location is very clean, convenient to the 24 hour cafe downstairs, and to Irvine Spectrum. It is our home away from home and we appreciate how easy it is to check in and out, during our busy pass-throughs.

The lotion came off the wall when it's suppose to hang on the wall. The bathroom didn't have essentials.

Staying at this hotel for my first multi-day business trip in Irvine, I couldn’t have picked a better place. There were pricier locations closer to where I needed to meet, but this Doubletree was close enough to be a short drive, affordable for my budget, and extremely high-class for a “mid-range” hotel. I did have to navigate even the short trip to and from the venue each day, but this is a reflection on Irvine’s layout, not the hotel, which was fairly easy to find even in the dark. The parking lot seemed secure and well-lit, there were plenty of luggage carts, and the staff was amazing at all hours! I also appreciated their wide stairwells at the end of each hallway (elevators are smooth and centrally located, but I prefer the stairs when I’m empty-handed) and their spacious, well-appointed exercise room, which is open 24-hours to a room keycard. While I didn’t get the name of the helpful clerk at the Blend Café Market (24-hour food, drink, and accoutrement shopping in the lobby), I did note Gilbert, my server at the in-house restaurant, who prepared my order with care and panache, and whose curiosity about my stay and my reason for traveling here began as reserved politeness, but warmed gently into friendly conversation when I opened that door for a minute. The giant breakfast burrito and fruit juice I ordered were terrific, and Gilbert made my morning stop a welcome experience, and not just a meal. Even more helpful was Denise at the front desk. Denise answered a slew of questions for me on the night I checked in (it was my first time at this Doubletree and in Irvine), and she made me feel like a longtime guest returning “home” after renovations, and not a first-time visitor who hadn’t traveled anywhere for business in a while. I had more questions (and already a few compliments) the next night, and I sought her out again after her extraordinary service upon arrival. She was, if anything, even more helpful that time, and I requested her name to include in this review, as well as thanking her personally for all she did for me during my stay. Denise is an absolute treasure, and I hope the Doubletree management recognizes her the way she makes every guest feel seen, heard, and valued, too. In short, this was a wonderful experience, and I will certainly stay here the next time I come to Irvine for any reason!

I had an excellent experience working with Noel, the Catering Sales Manager. This was my third time working with her and each event has gone perfectly. Our company does what has now become a yearly event with breakfast and a U-shape setup for about 30-people for a 2-hour meeting. Noel works very well (and quickly!) over email/virtually and helps to create a perfect event each time. Although I have not experienced this meeting in person, the team loves the food and venue and I love the all around great service. Thank you for your help, Noel!
