Soleil Boutique Hotel Hanoi

This was the second time in this vacation that I stayed at Soleil. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. Thank you for the whole Soleil team for their good care and I hope to return again some time in the future.

Top Hotel in guter Lage. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück bietet alles was man sich wünschen kann.

Wir waren 3Nächte im Soleil und hatten die Suite mit Balkon (im 9. Stock) und ein Premier Zweibettzimmer (2. Stock). Beide Zimmer waren super sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Die Suite hatte einen kleinen Balkon wo man gemütlich zu zweit sitzen kann und ein schönes großes Badezimmer. Auch das Premierzimmer im 2. Stock war einwandfrei vielleicht etwas klein. Das Frühstück bot neben vietnamesischen Gerichten eine breite Auswahl an westlichen Gerichten u.a Pizza, Lasagne, Sandwiches .... Gerichte waren alle hervorragend. Auf Wunsch erhält man auch einen "vietnamesischen Kaffee". Service von Rezeption, bis Frühstück und Zimmerservice sehr freundlich, kompetent und zuvorkommend. Lage war gut und trotz direkte Lage an eine vielbefahrenen Strasse recht ruhig, 3min zu Fuss zur Train Street, ca. 10 min zum Hoan Kiem See. Sehr viele tourisitsche wie auch einheimische Restaurants, Bars und Kaffees in der direkten Umgebung.

La suite que nous avons choisi était parfaite ! Propre, confortable, tout était au rendez vous. L equipe est accueillante et sympathique, tout là quand il le faut. C'est un hôtel où on se sent bien et où l on a envie de revenir.

The location is perfect next to Tống Duy Tân street with the great restaurants and cafes. The rooms are nice and very clean. The roof top bar and pool is fabulous. Breakfast is super extensive with fresh ingredients every morning. However the thing that makes staying at the Soleil hotel special is the staff. They're so caring, helpful and knowledgeable. They made our stay in Hanoi a very special experience and we'll be staying there again on our next trip to Hanoi.

Tolle Lage nur etwa 3 Minuten von der berühmten Train Station entfernt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, die Zimmer sauber und ruhig, das Personal war äußerst freundlich. Wir haben sogar die Möglichkeit das Late Check outs genutzt, so konnten wir bequem duschen, bevor es mit dem Zug weiterging. Der rooftop Pool ist wunderschön und bietet ein perfekte Möglichkeiten, den Trubel Hanois kurz zu entfliehen oder sich das ganze Treiben von oben anzuschauen.

Clean hotel, well located and great value. The bonus was the barman on the rooftop bar who was extremely helpful and good at his job

Wir haben das gleiche Hotel zwei mal gebucht und würde es wieder buchen. Es ist sehr zentral im Old Quarter gelegen und trotzdem ist es sehr angenehm ruhig im Zimmer. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Jeden Tag hat uns ein frischer Obst-Teller erwartet :)

The noise from outside. We stayed on the top floor with great views, but the windows are not double glazed, no soundproofing, so the constant cars and bike horn noise 24hrs was hard to sleep at night. Staff offered changing rooms to a lower floor but would be downgrading our views, so opted for ear plugs, which was a very slight improvement. Also not sure why each time our room was cleaned, the power was turned off in the room, so would come back to a stuffy hot room and fridge contents warm.

Ein super tolles Hotel! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und hatte alles was das Herz begehrt! Zimmer waren hell und sauber, die Betten waren eher schmal aber sehr bequem! Und das Personal war super freundlich!

We have stayed at this hotel for the second time. Very polite and helpful staff. Good location, lots of restaurants. Next to the train street. Breakfast buffet had a good and fresh variety of food. If you’re tired and hot, you can refresh yourself in the rooftop pool with a beer or a cocktail.

Il personale è gentile e disponibile, dopo aver segnalato la presenza di una persona celiaca ci hanno aiutato a ordinare la colazione senza glutin da una pasticceria della città. Alla fine ci hanno anche regalato il caffè salato come pensierino.

Honestly one of the most well put together and maintained hotels I've ever stayed at. Staff were lovely facilities exceeded expectations and I just really enjoyed every aspect of the hotel.

Great location with the amenities needed to be comfortable. Boutique style. Cara, Qua, Smyth were wonderful warm and gracious. Always helpful and easy to talk to. Stayed in family suite with connecting rooms. We are a family of 4 with 2 adult children. Excellent

Super easy to find! Welcoming and friendly staff. The room was spacious, tidy and felt luxurious. And a bonus was having streaming services on the TV. Would definitely stay here again!

Ich habe das Zimmer für ein älteres befreundetes Ehepaar gebucht. Sie sprechen kaum Englisch. Durch die tolle Zusammenarbeit mit Allie an der Rezeption konnten sie sich mühelos zurechtfinden. Allie hat für sie Touren und taxis gebucht. Danke für alles Allie. Wir waren im Januar in dem Hotel und es hat uns auch da super gefallen.

Das Personal ist extrem hilfsbereit und nett.

Die Bar im Pool könnte besser ausgestattet sein. Es ist zwar immer jemand dort und immer sehr nett aber das Angebot ist sehr niedrig. Ein paar gute schöne Cocktails 🍸 würden das Erlebnis topen.

Honestly I can’t fault our 6 night stay at the hotel. Everything was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was always delicious and the rooftop swimming pool was perfect in the hot weather. It is also centrally located and not noisy at all. Cara and every one of the staff made our stay highly memorable.

It's my second time now staying in this hotel (and even coming back in a week) and it's always a pleasure thanks to the exceptional team there: always welcoming and helping you for anything, giving you tips for what to visit and where to eat. The hotel itself is very clean, the room are comfortable and even if it's central meaning lots of traffic around, you don't hear anything at all. The pool on the rooftop is the cherry on the cake, a must in Hanoi after a long busy day. The buffet breakfast is a beautiful mix of Vietnamiese and European flavours. It is fresh and changing everyday and they cook some dish on the go like eggs or pho. Thank you again to all the team for the super service !

The hotel has an attractive foyer that is a welcoming space when you come inside from the street. The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished and very clean. The staff are wonderful and helpful and organised transfers and tours. The pool and roof top bar were also great areas to use.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Soleil Boutique Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was perfect for exploring Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a great variety to start each day. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality. Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared that we had the best possible experience. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sehr schön ausgestattet, das Frühstück sehr gut und vom Pool oben hat man eine tolle Aussicht. Ich würde immer wieder ins Soleil Boutique Hotel gehen.

The location was superb- close to restaurants, museums and everything you wanna explore in the old quarter.

The hotel is within walking distance of everything in the old quarter. There is an alleyway with restaurants, cafes, and eateries that are open all day right across the street. I had a suite, and the room was immaculate, and the stay was truly memorable. I came home every night and dished away all of my troubles in the tub.

L’ascenseur était en dysfonctionnement pendant plusieurs heures. Nous avons dû monter les 6 étages jusqu’à notre chambre à pied avant d’aller à la piscine au 10ème étage ! et avec cette chaleur dans la cage d’escalier, mon fils de 5 ans a saigné du nez sur le lit quelques gouttes. On nous a facturé 200.000vnd! C’était pas très commercial je trouve.

This is such a friendly, welcoming hotel. It is small but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room and bathroom was spacious and beautifully decorated. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel is spotless and room serviced to a high standard. Breakfast was superb and we had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant. The rooftop pool and bar is a lovely asset to the hotel. The staff are outstanding. We had a lovely few days here.,

All of the staff were very attentative and anticipated every need. Even provided a little packed lunch because of our early departure flight.

They incurred a data breach that resulted in my personal data being shared to a scammer. This included my name, the hotel, the dates I was staying and possibly more that i'm unaware of.

The pool was sometimes crowded with people and it’s quite small so hard to relax I would have liked to get some proposals for activities like tuk tuk even though I knew Hanoi I was a bit lost in what to do when I arrived

We had booked a room that should have been 30 square feet, it was far from that. I feel dodged. The sheets were not changed and cleanliness was poor, they also skipped one day of cleaning

Our best hotel stay ever! A comfortable, clean & perfectly located hotel - with incredible views of the city. However its greatest strength is its staff who consistently went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was lovely and a had a huge variety - with a chef on hand to cook further dishes! On the day of our check out, we were also very grateful that the hotel offered to store our bags & let us use an onsite shower before onward travel.

Really welcoming and friendly staff that go out of their way to assist you and help you feel comfortable. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The location was perfect - just a stone’s throw away from everything you need.

Der Service war erstklassig, wir haben tolle Empfehlungen und immer Unterstützung erhalten wenn wir die benötigt haben. Insbesondere Peter bin ich sehr dankbar, dass er uns den Cruise in Halong Bay organisiert hat.

Der Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer hätte kälter sein dürfen. Wenn man empfindlich ist, könnte einem der Straßenlärm stören. In unserem Fall war das aber kein Problem.

Our stay there was wonderful....Cara was awesome... they let me and my friend keep our luggage’s there for 3 nights as we were traveling to sapa... the location is away from the old quarter but itz walking distance...or you can take a grab and close to train street...the staff was excellent help us with the luggage’s... the buffet was good too, simple and nice :-) Also, I had accidentally left my phone in the bathroom when I went to collect my luggage. Thankfully, the staff kept it safe, and Cara was able to reach me and let me know she had it such a huge relief!

The Staff were welcoming, friendly, very attentive and helpful. The language difference wasn't a problem at all. The location of the hotel is great. The food was great. All enjoyed the swim up bar on the roof. We would stay here again if we returned to Hanoi.

We had a pleasant stay at Soleil Boutique Hotel and would recommend it with a few caveats for travellers to keep in mind. The standout element was undoubtedly the staff. Every team member we encountered was attentive, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. A moment that particularly stood out: we had an early 6am checkout and couldn't make it to the breakfast buffet. Without us having to ask, the team made sure we had breakfast and coffee prepared to take with us. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and really left a lasting impression. Overall, the heart of this hotel is its people, and that counts for a lot. Just go in with realistic expectations about the size of the facilities and you're likely to have a lovely stay.

On the flip side, the room felt a little tight for two people — comfortable enough, but worth knowing if you're expecting generous space. The rooftop pool was also smaller and more crowded than the hotel's photos suggest, which was a slight disappointment for us.

We loved absolutely EVERYTHING about Soleil Boutique and Spa from our warm welcome at check-in, in particularly, Cara who was an absolute gem, assistance to our room, the incredible breakfast which was hands down the best breakfast we’ve had on our 2-week vacation from the South to North of Vietnam. The hotel amenities and facilities were top notch in terms of cleanliness, decor, and spectacular views of the city. Our favorite part was the friendliness and professionalism of staff that we felt went out of our way to make our stay enjoyable. In addition to Cara, our bartender at the rooftop bar and pool was the best. I can not recall his name but he went out of his way to attend to us to get us out of the rain when it started pouring rain and was very attentive to our needs. I feel like he went above and beyond and was much appreciated. We were very grateful to staff for allowing us to leave our luggage while we waited to leave on our overnight train. Lastly, the spa services we utilized with Soleil were amazing. Thank you to all the spa staff!

The staff were excellent. So, so good. They really cared about their customers. They remembered our rooms and names (we had 4 rooms booked), we were not just a number. Peter, chloe, Quan, Allie, Mr Houng, everyone was amazing.

Extremely busy street outside. If you want more space in the room opt for a bigger room as the deluxe rooms are quite small. The rooftop bar (many stairs to go up), the pool is small ensure you are dry as there are stairs.

The staff here are Superb from Peter to Allie to chloe to Quan to Mr Houng (the tall young guy at the restaurant, he was so amazing and always friendly and helpful). The lady at the restaurant was also very nice. Everyone was excellent. The hotel is located in the heart of the Old Quarter, it is a boutique hotel and everything in the Old Quarter is small (narrow). There is a pool, there is a gym with 3 machines there is a rooftop bar, but these are very small. Everything is very clean as Hanoi is very grimmy with so many cars and motorbikes. The restaurant in the hotel serves good food if you do not want to eat out.

Hanoi is a very busy city. The Old Quarter is a very crowded area. Most hotels are on the smaller side. The rooms are small and some rooms have a very small bathroom (think inside room on a cruise ship with a small bathroom). We had 4 rooms booked and the other rooms had bigger bathrooms, we did not mide to stay in our small room as we were not there all the time. The hotel is located on an extremely busy street (it does not stop morning, afternoon and night), the hotel staff were great in assisting us to cross the street with all out luggage as the transfer dropped us across the street (it was hard to do a U-Turn). The city is not a walkable city, it's grimmy with pollution and dust from all the road work and construction. The road rules are optional so be very careful in crossing streets. The French Quarter has large streets and sidewalks that you can walk, however most buildings are government buildings and banks, hence the nice roads. Lots of food options around the hotel from street food to restaurants. The pool area is small and you have to go up stairs and the rooftop bar more stairs, do not get too drunk otherwise it's hard to get down :)

Die Lage war perfekt, alles war fußmäufig zu erreichen. Peter hat uns sehr geholfen mit der Planung von der Tour nach Halong und dem transfer dafür.
