Meritel Hanoi

From the moment we arrived, the Meritel Hanoi was exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is perfect for exploring Hanoi, the rooms are gorgeous and comfortable, and the pool and rooftop area are such a lovely escape from the energy of the city. What truly makes this hotel special, though, is the people. The level of kindness, warmth, professionalism and genuine care shown to us throughout our stay was extraordinary. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and it never felt forced or simply part of the job. We felt genuinely welcomed and looked after. There are hotels you remember because they are beautiful, and then there are hotels you remember because of how they made you feel. Meritel Hanoi gave us both. It was the perfect way to finish our time in Vietnam and a place we would return to without hesitation.

Genuinely, nothing. Our only disappointment was having to leave. The entire experience exceeded our expectations.

屋上のバーが大変素敵でした。 朝早く出かけねばならず、朝食boxを持たせてくれた配慮にも感謝です。

予約した際からツインベッドルームを希望していましたが、チェックイン時点で用意できていないと言われて大変困った。結果、ツインルームは用意してもらえたのですが、ツインルームが2つ繋がった部屋の片方を手配され、隣の部屋の音が漏れる状態でした。うるさくて落ち着かなかったのが残念でした。

La chambre était vraiment super jolie. Très bon petit déjeuner. L’hôtel est au centre du vieux quartier de Hanoi donc très pratique. Possibilité de prendre une douche avant notre départ en train de nuit donc très pratique !

Énormément de bruits juste à coté de notre chambre donc impossible de se reposer l’après midi de notre arrivée ni la nuit car du bruit jusqu’à 21h et reprise à 6h. Nous avons dû changer de chambre mais cela est très dommage de la part de l’hôtel qui était responsable du bruit et nous a quand même placé dans cette chambre à notre arrivée..

שדרגו אותנו בהתחלה ללא ידיעה שזה היה מעולה בקשתי להוסיף עוד לילה לא נתנו לנו סגרתי בבוקינג עוד לילה כמו שסגרתי בהתחלה וקיבלנו חדר ממש זוועה בנוסף סגרתי עם ארוחת בוקר ואמרו לי שאין ונאלצנו לשלם

Hotel se nachází ve skvělé lokalitě, vše v docházkové vzdálenosti. Pokoj byl hezky zařízený, čistý, pravidelně uklízený a v celém hotelu to hezky vonělo. Snídaně byla dobrá. Nejlepší byl personál, který byl velice nápomocný, snažili se nám pobyt v Hanoji co nejvíce usnadnit a zpříjemnit.

Tím že se nachází ve přímo v centru, je na ulicích neustále rušno a hluk.

Tolle Lage, freundlicher Empfang, außerordentlich bemühtes Personal. Schönes sauberes Zimmer, ausgezeichnetes Essen (Frühstück, Restaurant und Rooftopbar) und vernünftige Preise.

Leider z.T. etwas hellhörig, was andere Gäste betrifft.

The hotel felt luxurious and located in a great spot away from the busy spots. Staff were great, especially Tom who made sure our stay was great and offered his help at anytime!

Such a beautiful hotel! It’s a charming boutique hotel located very close to Hanoi Train Street and just a 10-minute walk from the heart of the Old Quarter. We booked a family room with connecting doors, which was extremely convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel has an incredible rooftop bar where we spent several evenings, and they also offer a great happy hour. The hotel restaurant is excellent too! We ate there several times, and everything was delicious. It’s also one of the highest-rated restaurants in the area. There is also a wonderful spa, so the hotel really has everything you could need. The service was exceptional. Mark looked after us throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. He even proactively told us about things happening nearby, such as a football match taking place that evening. Mark truly made our stay unforgettable!

Maybe offer more gluten-free options for children at breakfast.

Great location, beautiful room, super comfy bed and great shower. The terrace in our room was a real bonus. Tom in reception really helped us out with a complimentary late check out and information about the local attractions.

The staff are the loveliest people and really go out of their way to help you. They are so kind.

It is a little loud but that’s to be expected in the area.

We spent two weeks in Vietnam on holiday and the Meritel by far was the best accommodations during our enitre trip. The bed was super comfy! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They organized a special birthday surprise for my wife. And during breakfast they offered to prepare her special dishes as she is vegetarian. There was no need thought because there was enough great food for her to choose from.

Le Meritel Hanoi est un très bel établissement, très bien placé pour visiter Hanoi à pied. Le personnel a été très attentif à toutes nos demandes. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et le spa excellent. Une très bonne étape à Hanoi.

نظافة الغرف مب واااوو الشرشف طبعا طول مدتي ماتغير ٦ ليالي نفس الشرشف بس الغرف اثاثه جيد مب مستهلك وبعدين من ٩ او ١٠ ازعاج يصير لان يشتغلون اتوقع يكبرون الفندق وطبعا من الساعة ٦ الصبح راح تسمعون هرن السيارات لين ٢ من الليل ولما بتنزلون جدام الفندق ماله مدخل خاص تنزلون ع الشارع وطبعا هم معروفين مايوقفون حق حد يعني البقاء للاقوى ( عبور الشارع ) ولما بتطلبون تاكسي نفس الشي يوقف ع جنب وتعبرون الشارع ومرات لما تدخلون الفندق بتشمون ريحة لان عندهم مطعم معروف يجون له وايد ولما بتفتحون الستاره ترى اللي برع يشوفكم بخصوص الريوق ماجربتهم

The location was brilliant, right in the middle of everything. Walking distance of everything. Mike was a font of knowledge. All the staff were excellent.

O hotel cobrou nós mais 300€ por uma criança no quarto normal. Numa reserva de 260€ cobraram mais 300€ por uma criança. Não tínhamos pequeno almoço nem nada. Por tanto cobraram mais 300€ e deixaram nós no mesmo quarto. Aproveitaram se da situação ao máximo.

UN magnifique hôtel, un personnel dévoué et attentif, capable de répondre à toutes les attentes de personnes en voyage au Vietnam. Un hôtel très confortable avec un bar romantique à souhait en rooftop. La vielle ville et l'ensemble des centres d'intérêts sont accessibles à pied. Depuis l'hôtel, nous avons pu, grâce au service d'un collaborateur totalement à l'écoute nommé Mike, organisé une visite de la Baie de Ha Long, juste fantastique. Des conseils chaque jour, et un séjour de rêve à la découverte de la belle et si envoutante ville de Hanoï. Cela fait partie de toute la magie de notre voyage au Vietnam

There’s no shade around the pool for when it’s hot.

We've stayed in other hotels in Hanoi, in the same neighborhood but Meritel was much better in terms of rooms (we had one with a balcony) and overall quality. The pool and rooftop bar are nice, breakfast great and varies each day. The staff was super helpful and kind. One person – Ryan in our case – was making sure every day (we stayed 5 nights) that all was going well.

There were construction works in the building next door, so we had to change room.

旧市街やホアンキエム湖などの観光地にも歩いていける好立地。綺麗なお部屋にウェルカムフルーツ、スタッフの方も皆さん親切でした。朝ごはんも2日利用しましたが内容が少しずつ違い、連泊でも飽きずに食べられました。近くにある美味しいお店やトレインストリートの電車が通る時間など詳細な観光情報も頂けてよかったです！

Wir haben uns ganz kurzfristig entschieden, eine Nacht in Hanoi zu verbringen – und mit diesem Hotel definitiv die richtige Entscheidung getroffen! Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen und wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Phoebe, die uns herzlich eingecheckt hat und uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts mit tollen Tipps zur Seite stand. Sie war stets darum bemüht, dass es uns gut geht und wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Hanoi haben. Vielen Dank dafür! Auch alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren jederzeit freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer, haben hervorragend im hoteleigenen Restaurant gegessen und waren besonders von der großen und vielfältigen Auswahl beim Frühstück begeistert. Für uns war es ein wirklich besonderer Aufenthalt – herzlich, aufmerksam und einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Wir sind sehr froh, dass wir uns spontan für dieses Hotel entschieden haben, und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team, insbesondere an Phoebe, für diese wunderbare Gastfreundschaft! Wir würden bei einem weiteren Aufenthalt in Hanoi sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Premier hôtel de notre périple. Très bel escale pour commencer son séjour à Hanoi. L'hôtel est proche des lieux touristiques et cela se fait facilement à pied. Les chambres sont grandes et lit très confortables. Belle décoration indochine, la piscine en roof top est très sympa au coucher du soleil et l'eau est bien chaude à cette époque. Le petit déjeuner est bien et de bonne qualité. L'équipe de l'hôtel est au petit soin, vous avez.un concierge attribué à votre arrivée qui vous aide dans votre séjour. La rue du train est à 2mn à pied, plein de petites boutiques et de salon de massage et nails. Belle découverte.

Hotel had character, had all the modern amenities and was very clean. The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful we have come across in all our travels. Location was great with walking distance to most things we wanted to do and see and only a short Grab ride to others

Questa non è una recensione falsa!!! Con questa premessa, ci tengo davvero a fare questa recensione perché prima di arrivare ad Hanoi avevamo paura delle recensioni false che si leggevano in giro e dalle quali ti mettevano tutti in guardia. In questo hotel abbiamo trovato invece gentilezza, pulizia, buon cibo e un letto comodissimo. Ogni giorno ci hanno accolto con il sorriso, rifatto il letto e cambiato gli asciugamani. Leggendo le recensioni molti dicevano che non era un hotel a 5 stelle ma io mi chiedo come sia possibile che le persone valutino gli hotel senza valutare il contesto in cui essi si trovano. Un hotel 5 stelle ad Hanoi non sarà mai come un hotel 5 stelle a Roma come a sua volta non sarà mai come un hotel 5 stelle a Parigi come a sua volta non sarà mai come un hotel 5 stelle in Perù e via dicendo. In questo contesto, questo hotel MERITA 5 stelle e anche di più. Aggiungo anche che la piscina è perfetta, non sarà olimpionica ma è una coccola dopo aver girato nella caldissima città e la posizione comodissima, a due passi dalla Train Street. Un hotel bello, un cinque stelle reale al pari degli standard europei. Servizio impeccabile, lo staff efficiente e presente, tutti gentilissimi e sorridenti, affabili e disponibili in tutto. Il buffet della colazione eccellente, con la possibilità di farsi cucinare le uova al momento….il cibo è fresco e di altissima qualità! Anche il ristorante è davvero buono. L’hotel è ben arredato, di classe, le stanze pulite ed insonorizzate molto bene. Ci tornerei altre 100 volte!!!! Abbiamo scelto altri hotel in Vietnam, in altre città 5 stelle ma il livello del Meritel è un’altra cosa, non c’è paragone!!!!! Lo consiglio per tutto!!!
