I've been staying in this place several times now, I like it.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. He called to confirm our arrival time and waited for us after 21:00, past their closing time.

The apartment was comfortable and suitable for an overnight stay. Friendly host and good location.

There was no dishwashing liquid or a dishcloth/dish towel, so washing dishes wasn't an option. It is a self-catering unit, but we were just staying overnight, so we didn't bring anything with us. There is a stove and microwave, but no pot holders to handle anything hot. The carpet in front of the bed does not have a rubber backing and slides when stopped on. This nearly resulted in a fall. The apartment is listed as having a private bathroom. There is nothing private about it. The toilet, bath and shower are in the corner of the bedroom.

I ask for clean towels didn't get them 3 nights same towels

The staff would not allow us to check in after 9pm and left us with our family of 7 (5 children) stranded on the road in a dangerous country - their response when we were communicating with them en-route to them was very unhelpful and not caring of our situation (being delayed due to bad traffic from Cape Town - a 10-hour road trip). They were extremely unhelpful and inhospitable in their attitude toward us. They refused to refund us even though they were not willing to check us in after 9pm! We were forced to make last minute arrangements to stay elsewhere and lose all money paid to them.

There was a urea like smell in the bathroom on my arrival until the end of my stay.

Well located close to town centre. Off street parking. Clean and comfortable

Communication with the property was excellent. The rooms were clean and spacious. We were happy with the accommodation.

I just found it strange that there is as no Duvet on the beds. I did enquire and was told the comforter is the duvet. Sleeping under a comforter was not comfortable and for me, was not an enjoyable experience. Unless I did not know how to use the electric blanket, it did not work for my side of the double bed. At -5 degree's overnight, I got cold. Very!

Nice welcome from the host. Our room was upgraded at no cost to us. The room is the perfect size for a 1 night stay - not too small and not too big. It was comfortable with heater and electric blanket provided.

I got a different room that does not look like the pictures on the advertisement. It was cold all night with no heater. They should maybe rethink their booking prices.

I wanted a way to wash only the food, we couldn't heat it, they said the plugs didn't work, so we went and ate cold food, only the TV plug worked

The property was easily accessible, newly refurbished, simple and had a great space for our dogs.

The place is very cosy and kept very clean. I enjoyed my stay there. The location is exceptional, in a suburban area with lots of trees.

Honestly didn't have much bad things Madeira it is a wonderful place

Breakfast - not mentioned or on offer where when and what was on offer. Check-in was a simple affair of "here is key and your room is around the corner through the road gate and second room - unaccompanied" (Rather impersonal) Oh , and when you leave drop key in letter box.

Check-in could have been a bit more personal and informative, instead of here is your key etc. Also I opted for pay at the property , but was direct debited once booking was confirmed on the ap.
