Madra Rua Organic Accommodation

The breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and very helpful and I would most definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Tutto, struttura pulitissima, camera superconfortevole, proprietari gentilissimi e molto disponibili a fornire informazioni sulle cose da vedere.

Excellent breakfast and beautiful location

Convenient to where i was visiting.

Amazing hosts and a fabulous room and breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at Madra Rua. German and Clara are a lovely, welcoming couple who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed the Spanish omelette and the thoughtfully arranged tea selection. I tried three different varieties of organic tea, and each one was refreshing and full of flavour. The rooms were spotless, with comfortable beds, quality linens, and very well-maintained bathrooms. We especially appreciated the organic, eco-friendly atmosphere and the hosts' commitment to sustainability and nature. We stayed for one night. After breakfast the next morning, we took a quick trip to the Ballyliffin Beach playground, which is only about 6 minutes away, before checking out at 11 a.m. We also enjoyed visiting Malin Head and the Wild Alpaca Way, both within about a 20-minute drive. For EV drivers, charging was very convenient. We fully charged our vehicle before reaching accommodation at the charging hub located at F93 C9X6, which has both a WEEV fast charger and an ESB charger (bring your own cable for the ESB unit). This gave us more than enough charge to explore the area and comfortably drive back home. While charging, there are plenty of takeaway and dining options available in Buncrana town centre nearby. Overall, a relaxing and memorable stay in a beautiful part of Donegal. We would be happy to return and highly recommend Madra Rua to anyone visiting the area.

Honestly, I couldn't find anything to dislike during our stay. The hosts, accommodation, cleanliness, location, and overall experience all exceeded our expectations. I'd encourage others to experience it for themselves—you'll likely agree that there's very little, if anything, to fault.

Bella struttura con camere ariose e accoglienti, bagno in ordine, wifi bene. Accoglienza calorosa. Posizione ottima con accesso comodo. Colazione buona

The hosts where very friendly and made us feel at home breakfast was excellent and beautiful view to go with it

Germán and Clara were so helpful and friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was punctual and very tasty.

We liked everything.

We got a lovely welcome from the hosts. The breakfast was delicious, the room comfortable, the view beautiful. We highly recommend this place.

Everything was amazing

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and met our needs for the short stay.

The hosts were amazing Clara and Germán lovely couple. Spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable with lovely bedding, great shower with plenty of hot water, plus shower gel shampoo and conditioner. Hairdryer in the chest of drawers. If you wanted tea or coffee you could help yourself in the breakfast room, you could also use the room in the evening if you wanted to watch television. Note no television in the room which personally I think is a good idea. Excellent breakfast choices and very good coffee and tea, all organic.

All very nice.

The owners are Spanish and very helpful. One breakfast option was Spanish tortilla which was very nice. Our room had a double and single bed.

I don't like having to decide on arrivel what time I would like breakfast and having to choose what to eat. I would prefer a pot of tea rather than my cup being filled up when the owner reappeared.

The Spanish hosts were absolutely wonderful and welcoming. The breakfasts were amazing. The room was spacious, comfortable beds and linens great. Would recommend if in the area.

Leaving!

Extremely welcoming and helpful hosts. Lovely room tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Delicious breakfast . Good value.

Nothing. We liked everything.

The hosts where very welcoming The breakfast was excellent The rooms immaculate, spacious and comfortable

No tea making facilities in room but shared tea making facilities on landing

The location. The host was the most welcoming. Super friendly and cooks a great breakfast . Advises on all local activities and some unknown spots to visit while touring around. Room very clean and comfortable. Many thanks again for the very kind welcome.

There was noting not to like.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating with helping with a early check in

N/A

Rien

Lovely surroundings. Beach and waterfall not far off. Nice view from bedroom window. Friendly and welcoming hostess.

First impressions? Garden in a very neglected state does not give much hope for their future. Host's TV was thundering into my room just above. I don't think they realise how thin the floorboards are... was difficult to concentrate on anything - earplugs worked wonders.

Tutto molto bello e buono

Such lovely friendly people, very welcoming and a gorgeous breakfast. just fabulous!

Vraiment super, le personnel était très sympathique ! Le petit déjeuner excellent et complet.

Our hosts were absolutely brilliant so warm and welcoming with an outstanding sense of humour.

Clara and German are amazing. They welcomed us in a wonderful way, making us feel like we were at home. They prepared a delicious breakfast for us.

Clean, spacious room with good lights next to the bed, many electrical sockets, a separate space for storing clothes and luggage and a great bathroom. Cooked breakfast everyday of your choice. Everything working well, pleasant dining room, and tea and coffee available any time.

Busy road, incense in the hall that might not be to everybody’s taste, very good insulation for temperature but not always for sounds from inside.

The hosts Clara and Germán were very welcoming and accommodating. Everything was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing!!! I would definitely go back ❤️

Very clean, beautiful, and comfortable place. Hosts are really nice. 👌

Great breakfast and very accommodating on timings

Lovely property with very spacious rooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable and plenty of parking. The host was a wonderful Spanish lady who made me and my husband feel very welcome.

Nothing at all

Posizione comodissima e vicinissima a Malin head e five fingers strand. Host molto simpatici e molto disponibili. Camere bellissime e silenziose. A pochi minuti dal paese. Ci tornerei sicuramente

Nulla.

Ci sarei stata moltissimo tempo!

Clara was a delightful energetic host. I loved the organic bath products. The Spanish omelette for breakfast was scrumptious & a nice change from the usual fry.

Nothing.

Tutto!! Clara è stata eccezionale e stratosferica!! Splendida accoglienza e ottimi suggerimenti di scorci panoramici! Consigliatissimo!!

The hosts were very hospitable. Accomodation was very clean and the bed super comfy. Couldn't fault the breakfast; pancakes & fruit were delicious and the cooked breakfast was very good.

Claire and I felt immediately comfortable with meeting the hosts Clara & Germán. Truly lovely people who would do anything for you. They go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect and it is. We slept really well, the breakfast is made fresh to your liking and the rooms are clean, nice and comfortable. The accommodation felt just right for us and we look forward to returning when we can.

We really enjoyed our stay. Clara amd her husband made us very welcome. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and Clara even made us a take away breakfast as we left early in the morning. Set in a beautiful location. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Easy to find, close to the water, host very accommodating

Shower was a bit small

We had a fantastic stay at Madra Rua! We were up in Ballyliffin for a friend’s wedding and wanted to stay somewhere nearby! Our room was lovely and clean but the best part of our stay was our wonderful hosts Clara and Germán! They were so welcoming and helpful giving us local taxi numbers for transport, making us the best breakfast with additional pancakes and even letting us stay at the property until our transport came to collect us! We had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back! Lauren & Luke

Nothing, everything was brilliant!

The hosts were friendly and inviting and couldn’t of been more helpful during our stay. Breakfast was personal and delicious with plenty of healthy options to help yourself to. We will be sure to recommend to everyone who plans to stay in the area

Super lovely B&B, the owners are so nice, breakfast and rooms are excellent! Clara made me a doggy bag for my early check out which was so kind. Got so many good tips for my journey. Best stay in Donegal.
