Room was decent

When I arrived 30 mins before check in I was given a room and keys. I walked into a dirty room that had not yet been cleaned from the previous guest. I went back downstairs to let staff know. I was told to take a seat and wait. I asked about other rooms available and was told to just wait. I waited in the lobby for an hour and 20 minutes. I didn’t get into my room until an entire hour past check in time.

Lovely energy, the staff are make it so. What a world of difference it makes to feel welcomed & not just another tedious customer. Makes me want to be the best hotel guest I can be! Also, very clean.

There was nothing to dislike.

kwaliteit van de kamer. de kamer is nodig aan een opknapbeurt toe! viezigheid onder het bed, schimmel in de badkamer en op veel plaatsen was de verf ondertussen toch echt verdwenen.

The breakfast was simply excellent. And the staff was genuinely friendly. The room was surprisingly spacious - almost as big as the Norwich airport terminal (which is one of the nicest airports I have experienced).

Breakfast was very good. We did not have dinner. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. However, the WiFi was very poor.

The fact that it’s been 2 weeks since we checked out and have not received our refund of £150( put down for any extra expenses we incur in the hotel). I was told this would go back to my card immediately after checking out and l did insist on the money has we were needed it for our holiday in Lincolnshire. I had to take my family on holiday & stretch my finances as this hotel refused to refund my money. I called again twice and the same story of funds will be returned to my card within a few days ( from immediately to within 3 days). It has been 2 weeks plus and nothing has been returned. Is this how you treat customers?? It’s appalling for a company as holiday inn to treat us this way. Loise Agnes

I liked that there was a pool at the hotel which made the stay even better. There was a problem with my room and the receptionist upgraded me to a premium room which was very kind.

Staff very helpful. Late check out time was great so we could use the pool in the morning. Breakfast was delicious!

It was close to where we needed to be.

The room had the air conditioning left on so the room was freezing. There were dead flies in the bathroom and bedroom. The bin hadn’t been emptied from the guests before. We read the breakfast was good, but sorry to say it was all pretty substandard. Coffee tasted of powder milk, orange juice was squash and the eggs look like they had sat there for a week.

The staff on reception were lovely. Safe location, easy parking. Good room temperature. Good facilities. Wheelchair accessible.

Its a good location and the hotel is quite large. Good choice at breakfast.

There was cobwebs in my room everywhere. Not a deal breaker, but the reason I scored low. Also, the complimentary shampoo had run out after our first night so when they came to make the bed etc, we would have expected them to have been checked and restocked, but they werent.

Rooms were a little tired, the extractor fan in our bathroom was really noisy and sounded like a plane taking off when you switched it on and off. The TV didn’t work very well too. Also, the swimming pool changing rooms were really tired, rundown and didn’t feel clean.

the cleaning staff (limefms) cleans with stained, used (by other guests) pillow cases. i am disgusted by the cleaning standards in this hotel. couldn’t sleep at all because the noise level is loud up u till 1am. the walls are falling to pieces and are full of marks, dents and deep scratches. it looks like a wild animal has been stuck in a room for a week trying to clawing its way out. most of the phones in rooms aren’t working because apparently the wires were cut while maintenance was installing something. i was told by a receptionist that the phones are still in the room so that they can legally still call them a standard room. the hallways are dark and dull and the atmosphere is genuinely depressing. the value of money people spend on a room is too much for the lack of service and cleanliness. the location of the hotel is the only good part about it as it’s near the airport which means a can take a plane and go as far away from it as possible.

Great location, clean and friendly staff

The family room wasn’t really big enough for 2 adults and 2 teens. My 13&15 had to share a sofa bed. I should have looked into this more before I booked.

Travelling for business and the location was very convenient.

The stairs, hallways, doors and skirting boards in my room were a bit shabby which detracted from the nicely refurbished bathroom and hotel open lobby, restaurant and the lovely staff.

No windows in the room, a skylight. Dirty, everywhere. You can hear the lift every time and the doors opening and closing, every time.

I stayed with my family in a "premier room" for four nights. The room had many things that did not work and the staff could not fix them. I will list a few below, 1. Air conditioning (we did not have air conditioning when the temperature was above 30 degrees. We could get a small table fan only on the fourth night) 2. Digital safe 3. Espresso machine 4. Iron box 5. Refrigerator (it maintained room temperature consistently) 6. Bathroom door lock 7. Bathtub jacuzzi. I have never stayed in any room with so many broken stuff. My 9 year old daughter and I used the swimming pool on the first evening. After we spent 30 minutes in the pool, a staff very politely told me,"I found someone's poo in the water a few minutes ago. It is not nice for you to be in this pool. You are not contaminated...no worries". We jumped out of the pool immediately and did not go that direction for the rest of our stay. The pool and its changing room will not pass any hygiene inspection.

Great location. Loved the pool. Room was big. Staff were lovely. Most of the breakfast was very good.

It was difficult to regulate the temperature. It was quite cold and couldn’t seem to get the thermostat to change. The room wasn’t serviced which wasn’t a problem in itself but someone had been in the room as a new bin bag had been put in and the bag of rubbish left in the room. Toilet rolls and tissues had not been replenished. Pancakes at breakfast were rock hard and I mean rock hard. They were inedible.

The bed was quite comfortable.

My grandson had a show there on Saturday night and sold 520 tickets. When we arrived they had set the room out for 200 although they were told for how many in the first instance but the message was not passed on. So had to wait while they provided another 320 chairs. The restaurant was closed all day on Saturday for technical problems so no food. The bedroom was very basic and certainly not worth the price. The car parking is definitely not adequate

Stayed during one of the hottest days of the year, unfortunately the AC was struggling. The rooms are a tad out-dated too.

The proximity to the airport is great. The rooms were comfortable and clean enough for 1 night stay. The breakfast served everything that we needed. There is also a small bar that gets you some drinks in the evening. I think the price tag is a pretty good match of what is actually offered at the hotel. Staff was very friendly as well and checkin was done smoothlessly.

The bed was comfy and I had a good nights sleep. The communal areas also looked clean and the staff were friendly.

The hotel room was really scruffy and tired looking. The furniture was all stained and scuffed, the shower cubicle had mold growing around the silicone, the bathroom door had a corner missing from the bottom and the lock didn't work, the bedroom walls were all stained, and the tv was old. The carpets also felt sticky. The room looked nothing like the pictures presented on Booking.com which was really disappointing. I wouldn't stay here again.

The dining area was nice and staff were friendly. Breakfast options were good and food was nice.

Room was dated and felt unclean. Patch on ceiling from a leak, woodwork chipped and looked like mould spores. Room felt musty, wet room flooded, no extraction in there either so a steamy mess. Shower curtain fell off, hair around the sink which must have been from a previous guest. Rubbish behind the chair in the room. Socket by the bed didn’t work. Unfortunately It just didn’t feel like a 4 star. It didn’t feel like a clean and fresh hotel room. It was very dated in the room. The spa area wasn’t maintained either and uncomfortable to use so chose to go back to the room to get dressed but didn’t want to spend too much time in there either. Overall, we got what we paid for I guess. It was only £130 for 3 for the night and included breakfast.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Grandchildren loved finding the animals and the activity pack was great. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We also used the swimming pool which was great too.

Breakfast was lovely. Evening meal was ok but the children’s fish fingers were not jumbo and not nice. Churros did not come with chocolate dipping sauce just more very sweet caramel sauce.

Unfortunately the room was damp and there was a very large brown patch on the rooms ceiling. Myself and our daugher woke up coughing in the night as the smell of damp became worse. Noted Woodlice in the bathroom. By the time we had all showered and settled it was late and my son had fallen asleep so too difficult ask to move rooms also had a dog with us. There was also marks on the walls, shabby fixtures and fittings. It was an accessible room. I would think twice if you have any respiratory issues staying here. We tried to address when we left and also have sent several emails but no reply. Wouldn't stay here again because of this.

Clean, affordable hotel in a good location. Staff were friendly and approachable. The facilities, ie restaurant, room, foyer were to a good standard and well-kept. I had a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The shower temperature was not great. Could get it to heat up to my liking. Other than that everything else was fine.

Staff especially Cambell, Emma and Kelly, and J who found my car key along with credit cards and made sure it was returned to me safely. These people are a credit to your Company, a pleasure to meet them. Room was spotless, bed really comfortable with good quality linen. Swimming pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Jacuzzi a real bonus

We had no window, just a skylight which did not open and we did request a ground floor room as we are both disabled, but were allocated 3rd floor. (ROOM 509) The hotel receptionist checked and it would appear Booking.com had not passed this on with our reservation. Thankfully there was a lift. We would have liked 2 armchairs, the second chair was hard plastic and uncomfortable, but as our stay was just 2 nights, it was acceptable. There was no window in the bathroom either so overall it felt a little claustrophobic.

Staff were excellent and it was so clean.

The showers in the changing rooms were see through so I was unable to shower my little boy as it was busy.

Have stayed in this hotel before and liked it hence coming back its in a good location for main tourist places in Norfolk . Breakfast was good and room was adequate.

This Hotel is in dire need of a revamp, internally its looking tired and furniture looks well used. While the swimming pool was quite nice, although bit on the small side as regular members occupied most of it and left little room for us to swim. The changing facilities are really poor. The external appearance of this Hotel is shabby, the gardens are not maintained and the windows etc are covered in spider webs, very untidy.

It was peaceful, food was very good, breakfast laid out really well with plenty of choice. Staff were all helpful and polite. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable.

Nydelig frokost! Vi kunne bestille gratis omelett i tillegg til varmdisk og kald disken, omeletten var svær og nydelig, perfekt stekt bacon og veldig bra utvalg på frokosten. Eg overnatter mye på hotell i norge, men den frokosten her var topp! Vi har ikkje hund sjølv, men dette var eit hunde vennelig hotell, det var drikkestasjon for hund og litt div hundesnacsk, synest det var ein positiv ting, og ikkje minst koselig. Store rom.

Well I booked a hotel that had air conditioning but it didn’t work so I complained in the morning that evening we went to our room there was a fan on the floor which was rubbish. No explanation or nothing just a fan on the floor. I checked out next morning and again mentioned the air conditioning they told me that because there was a lot of people there and everyone was using it at the same time it became overwhelmed but isn’t that what everyone does at night when it’s hot we all use it. I said I could have booked a different hotel half the price with no air conditioning. Absolutely ridiculous excuse in my eyes. I have asked for my money back. Still waiting for a reply

I was so upset. You give a tremendous choice of breakfast however the cooked food was being made cold by the air conditioning blowing full blast onto the cooked food, I was speechless and brought this to the attention of the staff member who looked unplugged???? I wanted to ask for a refund but my partner said just write a letter of complaint which I am going to do on Monday.

The breakfast being cold and having to come out of the room to use the disabled toilet because we found ours blocked when we went to use it about 10:30 pm. It was far too late to report it as we didn't want to be up all night waiting for the plumber to call, this also had an impact on both of us as I have to use the toilet regularly as I have recently undergone surgery and ended up using a purpose made urine recepticle from my car during the night or the disabled toilet.

Convenient ground floor room to stay overnight with my dog. Nearby exit to internal garden to walk. Poo bags and treats provided. Dogs allowed in sun terrace area next to restaurant. Staff very helpful.

Aircon was broken on the hottest day on record in June and windows would not open. Booking.com listing and hotel name doesn't really make it clear how close to the airport this hotel really is.

There was a good choice for breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful.

The tea was awful tasting so kept to hot chocolate. Unfortunately the shower was over a bath which made it difficult for a disabled partner to use during our stay. When I brought this up I was told there wasn't another room available on the ground floor with just a shower. It's a shame we didn't realise this when booking the room.

Very Large Room, Quite & Had very good Air Conditioning, was wonderful to have a cool room on one of the Hottest days of this year! The public area's like the Restaurant were also Air Conditioned. Very good breakfast with lots of choices.

Unfortunately the plates to put the cooked breakfast on were cold & the breakfast was luke warm, so that was a shame, they need to sort that out.

The hotel is really tired and in need of an update. Further, it looked as if there had been water damage to the outside of the building and the interior was musty smelling. For what it was, the hotel was expensive.

The food was good, and the place was comfortable. Spacious room also. We watched the football match, and it was a nice place. I had a late check-out also, and that was provided as required by me.
