The blackout curtains kept the light out. Continental breakfast had a lot of variety and large seating area.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026This motel was immaculately clean. The room was spacious. The bed was one of the most comfortable that we had ever had. Breakfast was good and very clean. This place is impressive. Moreover, the people at the front desk were lovely, both evening and day staff. We will definitely be back!!

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026I absolutely loved the locations convenience to the Blue Water Convention Center and all of its amenities. The staff were very polite and the rooms were nice and clean. I absolutely was amazed at how spacious the bathroom was. The offered breakfast was also quite satisfying.
Got there a little early and could not get checked in. Check in is not until 3pm and I had gotten there at1pm.

It seems like a small thing, but we would’ve liked just some regular standard bacon. The back bacon was quite thick cut and not as tasty. We have a son with a full dairy allergy and some hard-boiled eggs instead of the scrambled eggs and the little mini omelettes that were made from a mix that had dairy would’ve been a nice choice for him. The rest of the breakfast really was quite delicious and a good variety of choices clearly labelled.

The beds were smaller than a standard queen. One of the elevators was broken so there were long waits and packed elevators. The phone in the room didn't work to call the front desk we asked for an Extra blanket and not to knock on the door because the kids were asleep - they knocked loudly. The pool was dirty, there was a lot of dirt on the bottom of the pool that got kicked up when you swam. The shower by the pool is dangerous, it's very slippery my kid fell and hit his head.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026The breakfast at this Holiday Inn Express is very good, lots of hot-food options. The location is ridiculously easy to find, close to the very walkable park, and across the street from an exceptional coffee shop too (Bean on a Mission). We will choose this hotel again.
This is the first hotel on our trip that did not have premium cable TV options. For example, many hotels offer TCM, but there were no old movies to fall asleep to at Holiday Inn Express. But that's the only thing that didn't exceed the other three hotels on our trip.

There are not alot of healthy options for breakfast. Limited fruit ( Apples and Bananas) and no veggies or anything. Very bread and sugar heavy - and eating from paper plates with plastic utensils is a bit yuck.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026The rooms are very spacious, exceptionally clean, smells very fresh and clean as well. I was very comfortable through my stay. The staff was friendly and quick. Check-in and out were both seamless. The price was very fair and breakfast was very good and well balanced. I also enjoyed the view from my room on the 6th floor.
I don't think I can say anything that could be better, very well maintained place with friendly and competent staff.

It would be nice if there was an actual bathroom door. The key cards sucked as only one worked even after reprogramming them. The elevators stink like someone was smoking weed in them. The rooms were smaller than the pictures shown online. The shower was a mess and dirty. You could hear some couple having wild sex through the night I at least hope they were having sex with all the screaming. The breakfast was likely the best part but gave me and my friend the shits shortly after.
