The room was very clean and comfortable and had nice lighting and amenities for the price offered. The staff at both the front desk and valet were very welcoming and helpful and made our stay a lot better.
The valet parking was a little bit expensive which was not the most ideal especially for a multiple night stay. Additionally, the location itself was a little bit hard to access from a left turn due to heavy oncoming traffic.
Location
Loved it
It’s near everything
Clean and conveniently located within walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl.
Parking was very crowded because they allow parking for the restaurant too. They should charge less for guests to park. A bit expensive.
location was perfect for our concert at Hollywood bowl. Also very close to Hollywood Blvd for our visit to Jimmy Kimmel.
Parking fees are high
Super clean, nice staff, and heated pool
There’s nothing bad about the hotel
ROOMS ARE CLEAN,
The breakfast was horrible a hostess was mean food was cold and we waited quite a while just to be served. Basically the food was horrible and the service was horrible.
I'm not one often give bad reviews, but my honest opinion of this property is that you should not waste your money on it. Very poor value (marginally cheaper than Conrad DTLA on the days I visited). The hotel was marginally cheaper than the Conrad DTLA during the nights when I stayed. On paper, this price seemed to be justified by the location. But with all major attractions 15-20 minutes walk away, this is a false economy. On top of the poor value, what made it truly unacceptable was the frankly hostile service. I have been Hilton Diamond for over five years, and Gold for two years before that. My status was not from credit cards but actual stays and nights, so believe me when I say I have a wide range of experience with what Hilton service should be like from their budget (e.g., Garden Inn, Tru) to their most premium brands (e.g., WA, LXR) in America, the UK, Continental Europe, Asia, and Africa. I know American customer service can be rough around the edges, but this was far worse than that. Sylvia checked me in and out. There was no greetings of any kind, even after I said good morning to her. I checked in with my girlfriend, and it was obvious to anyone who can count that the both of us were staying, so two people's F&B credits should be credited. Evidently, Sylvia refused to exercise such ability. When I pointed that out to her after check out, she said, "I can't help you now that you've checked out (i.e., before you received your bill and realised that I couldn't be bothered to count how many people were staying)". I pointed to her that she should've noticed that there were two people staying, but she responded by saying "you said in your App that one person is staying", before handed me a card of her manager and told me to email him/her. She then abruptly ended the conversation and turned away. The rest of the hotel didn't redeem this outright hostile service I experienced. Room was dated, the air con was as loud as a plane, and the housekeeping was minimal. Although the staff in the evening were friendly and polite when I purchased something from their snack shop. In conclusion, my earnest recommendation would be to stay elsewhere in LA: you'll be happier, richer, or both.
Great location for all things Hollywood. Walk to the Bowl. Walk to the Blvd. Convenient having restaurant on property
$50 forced valet parking.
We checked in to hotel on Friday, 7. 17.26. I have a handicap placard from my home state that I bring with me when me and my girlfriend travel around the country. When we got to the hotel and parked in one of the (ADA) handicap assessable parking stalls. A valet immediately came up to me and was not very friendly. I explained to him that we have a handicap placard and I am a 100 percent disabled veteran. Along with being an advocate for multiple veterans and people with disabilities. Obviously, he did not seem friendly and was rude. So, I opted to not get into an argument with him and address my concerns with the hotel manager. His name was Riley. I explained the situation with the valet attendant and showed the manager my 100 percent, Department of Defense, (VA) identification card. On Friday evening we went out to dinner. When we arrived back to the hotel at approximately 9:30 PM. All of the handicap assessable (ADA) parking stalls were full. Not one of them had a handicap placard. I took pictures. We had other cars behind us and the valet was not readily available or in front of the valet stand. So we decided to pull forward, as we had two other cars behind us, and they were trying to enter the Hilton Garden Parking lot. We pulled toward the back. And a valet attendant asked if we were staying at the hotel. We said we were, as our receipt for parking was on the dash. Along with a handicap placard which was affixed to rear view mirror, I informed the valet attendant that there were no handicap spots available. And, he indicated; “we park any valet vehicle in those handicap spots.” Even vehicles that don’t have handicap placards. He stated he would take our vehicle and we could leave it where we left it and he would park it. He did not attempt to take it to one of the front (ADA) parking stalls. He parked it in the rear area of property. Me and my girlfriend our both Hilton Honors members. We have stayed at other Hilton properties and have never ever incurred any type of disregard or disrespect for federal, state, and local (ADA) laws. Along with the disrespect and contempt we received with (ADA) parking. On a different note, the elevator was extremely slow. At one time it took nearly 12 minutes to finally get it to our floor. Our room had a musty odor. The A/C seemed to not be working effectively. If a hotel's valet service blocks or abuses designated handicap spots, they can be cited under California Vehicle Code 22507.8 CVC, which makes it illegal to block or bar access to a disabled parking space. On-Site Lots: If the hotel operates a parking garage or lot on its premises, it must maintain a specific number of accessible, blue-striped spaces. By law, these spaces cannot be blocked or restricted solely for valet. Hotels in Los Angeles/Hollywood cannot use designated Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) handicap parking spots exclusively for their valet service. These specific spaces must always remain available for disabled guests to self-park or be parked by valet attendants. It is relatively obvious, that this particular Hilton Garden hotel, is not up to, or even close to Hilton standards.

It was walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl and a shopping center. There was a restaurant downstairs connected to the hotel which was convenient. The rooms were clean and staff was very friendly.
The air conditioner in the room was very loud while sleeping.
Location was great staff super nice and helpful
Parking is expensive bed isn't very comfortable and blankets are very thin there is nothing like getting to a cozy room after a long drive and having that nice clean hotel style bed with fluffy blanket and pillows nope not here
Rooms where clean, comfortable.
Didn't have the best experience with the waitress down in the restaurant, made us not want to eat there for the remaining time of our stay.
Clean
Faucet in sink was loose Shower door did not close all the way I was charged 16:95 per person per night for breakfast yet I had to pay for breakfast at Friday’s. So no breakfast included I need a refund
Staff were all helpful and courteous when i stayed there and no complaints.
the chef in the kitchen needs cooking lessons as his interpretation of a cooked burger and a raw burger is totally different.
Thank you also for the very useful first time tourist information.
👍
Location, comfort.
Nothing
nice
Location was ideal and convenient
The tgif breakfast was mediocre though the waitress was delightful
Marco at the Front desk !
Went to the TGIF at the hotel 3 hours before closing. A woman who appeared to be the manager , sat us at a table and never came back again. After sitting there for 30 minutes waiting to be served , we finally just got up and left. We went to the front desk to purchase a beer and Marco told us the restaurant also had beer. We let him know that we attempted to buy some food and drinks and were ignored the entire time and never served . While the TGIF may not be the Hilton. It is still part of your hotel and makes you look bad. The restaurant was not super busy so it just did not make sense why we were never acknowledge or served .
How welcomed we were by parking attendant and front desk. Location which made it very convenient yo sites, pool ate was very clean and well stocked with towels.
The parking spaces too small and vehicles were park extremely close to each other. Could probably have more handicap parking spaces.
Average hotel - great location. 950 mts walk from Hollywood subway station However, this hotel penalizes long stay guests!!! This hotel charges USD 100 as security deposit for a night If a guest stays for 5 nights, they charge a whopping USD 500 - ideally it should be same - $100 Additionally, If you are a Hilton Honors member, you get 2 water bottles Free per stay i.e if you pay for 1 night you get 2 bottles, if u stay for 5 nights u still get only 2 bottles. Each extra water bottle is charged at $3 In short, if u plan a longer stay - better to check in & check out daily - ROFL
This in a $300+ night hotel: I was approach upon my arrival, around 9pm, to a prostitute who got confused with rooms and kept knocking at my door, screaming "open the door, you requested this service", next door was her client another hotel guest, they kept partying, playing music and having loud sex, I called security at 2:30 pm, 4:45 pm and finally at 5:10 am I had to take action and tell them personally that my 7 year old was asking if the lady screaming was okay, BY FAR ONE THE WORST EXPERIENCE STAYING I couldn't even sleep.
Great stay!! Juan and Silvia the front desk great customer service
We had an amazing stay during our honeymoon! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very welcoming. We especially want to recognize Silvia and Juan for their outstanding service and kindness. They helped make our experience even more special and memorable. Their hospitality and attention truly stood out. Thank you for making our honeymoon such a wonderful experience. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel!
Stay was outstanding with great service.
Ubicación.
Muy caro el valet parking 55 US.
The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed here after an event at the Hollywood Bowl and the location was very convenient. 15 min walk, avoided all the traffic and congestion related to driving or ride shares. However, I do believe they neglected to put in ANY sound proofing insulation in the walls. We could hear everything in the hallway and the adjacent rooms like they were happening in our room. We could have carried on a conversation with our unrelated neighbors last night through the walls. Yesterday the room next door was being cleaned and it sounded like the vacuum was being run right next to our bed. I could even smell cleaning solution through our closed door. Which is good that we can tell they use cleaning solution, but WHY can I smell it in my room? Bottom line: location great for Hollywood Bowl access, but if you plan to spend any time in your room other than from 11 pm to 7 am or so, don’t expect any quiet. (And as I finish writing this the room above mine flushed the toilet and then I heard them place a plastic cup on the bathroom counter).
Amazing experience at this hotel! 10/10 service from the manager and valet
Close To the Hollywood Bowl
Nothing
Very basic, not up to the standard of the Hilton Garden Inn at other locations. Many things with no maintainance, from bathroom to doors, windows and beds.
NA
One receptionist manager was rude
The cleanliness and staff were amazing !
Loved everything about it
This hotel is in a good location for lots of the attractions but parking is expensive at $55 a day. Having said that it’s in Hollywood, so expect to pay lots for parking anyway.
Clean, comfy, and bed was Great
A little pricey
Very clean, quiet, & centralized.
Restaurant food (TGIF) was not available to deliver to the pool although it was advertised.
It was beautiful and close to everything.
Nothing
No
- Nothing spectacular - Nothing terribly bad either - Biggest positive: Walking distance from Hollywood Blvd, Walk of Fame, Hollywood sign viewing place, Dolby theatre (where Oscars are hosted).
So close to Hollywood
It was all great
Hotel was chosen due to the proximity to Universal Studios. You can also easily walk to Hollywood Boulevard (the time square of LA). Rooms were a bit beat down. Holes in sheets, rust in shower, etc. Was highly annoyed by the $55 parking fee. Seemed excessive considering the location.
Over priced for no reason. Shower head had mold Light kept flickering
Everything… the staff were completely helpful, and personable.. they made sure we had everything we needed.
Nothing.
They need to update tvs to smart tvs. Also security deposit is ridiculous.
Me encanta aqui
Very clean, close to the attractions at Hollywood. The room is quiet despite the fact that it is close to a busy street. The staff is friendly and helpful. Totally worth it for a visit at Hollywood/LA.
The hotel’s restaurant is TGI Fridays - not the type of food I would have expected to find at Hilton

The room was spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable, everything was clean and tidy, and great value for money.
The shower water pressure was a bit low, but still manageable.
Room was clean, staff friendly including restaurant staff, very happy with location and service.
By Far the worst Garden Inn hotel i have ever being. Valet parking $55 dlls by day, no sound isolation (all night hearing the cars passing near the hotel), $200 dlls of deposit & horrible smell in the room. I selected this hotel because is near to Universal Studios, but i decided to move mi reservation to a different Garden Inn in Lake forest Irvine

the room was very comfy and high quality, also was very big.
nothing wrong to say, just that maybe the water temperature for the shower a little bit hotter.
Location
Noise
Good shuttle service - fast check in and nice room. The main issue was noise from the road which was so bad could hardly sleep - awake from 2am onwards. Would not stay here again solely for this reason.
Good location friendly staff
No problem
Lovely big room, great pool area, happy hour in bar and great food, was offered a late checkout without even asking. Close walk up Runyon Canyon.
The staff were very nice and helpful.
