The room was beautiful and spacious.

Random charge for parking when on the website it said free parking but charged 45$ for valet parking and it was mandatory. And the front desk staff when we check in was so rude. Not friendly at all. I didn’t get his name but was not happy at all.

The staff are accomodating and breakfast is 10/10. The room is clean and cozy.

There’s a slight smell, maybe because of the carpet.

It was a good room. Nice and clean. Good breakfast.

For a room already being $209 a night and then not saying until getting there parking is mandatory and $45 a day and we can’t park ourselves valet has to is excessive. We waited forever to get our car and for our car to be parked because the parking was also open for event parking which is crazy just trying to get more money. It wasn’t convenient at all. And honestly made it so we don’t come back to this exact hotel next time.

Suites are facing a very busy and noisy street, you can't sleep if you don't switch on AC to cover the street noises.Upon arrival oir sofa bes wasn't ready, you have to prepare it by yourself. The bed was uncomfortable to my taste. Very basic breakfast but this is a standart in the US.

Hotel was very clean and in an ideal location. Staff were accommodating and our room was spacious enough for two adults and four teenagers. Would like to give a two thumbs up to the complimentary dining staff MARIETA and VERONICA. They were SO friendly to EVERYBODY. They greeted EVERYONE. They both had smiling faces and said "good morning" to everyone! They were in such good spirits early in the morning. AND- they both worked non-stop keeping the dining well stocked and super clean. Holiday Inn is lucky to have them.

It is in an excellent place and everything is in walking distance. Very clean and friendly crew.

The rooms are large and newly remodeled. But the staff Veronica and Marieta are amazing. The are attentive, clean, have friendly smile. You can tell they love what they do. I will not miss breakfast tomorrow. They make you feel like family.

We stayed at this Holiday Inn with a school group for a competition. Hotel was clean, very hospitable, and the breakfast was fantastic. They even opened early for us on the day we had to leave early for our competition. It was in close proximity to the Walk of Fame, Univeral Studios, good eating places, and a convenience store across the street. Would stay there again.

The hotel has a perfect location. The front desk staff were hospitable and helpful whenever we called. The room was very clean, modern with a comfy bed. I will say that part of my reason for a four is that this is in Hollywood and noise from sirens and large trucks was very audible up until around 1/1:30am during our stay. The breakfast here is the best! Great assortment of cereal, bread and an instant pancake machine that churned out fluffy pancakes in about 1 minute. The cinnamon rolls are always a highlight for me so that was a great way to get my day going. Marieta and Veronica made us feel at home in the mornings and they are the absolute best. We had a very good experience here and would stay here again in the future.

Great locations, comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast had lots of good options, including eggs, sausage and potatoes. Marieta and Lidia were both very helpful and friendly. They made our breakfast experience very pleasant and comfortable. Great place to stay with family.

Very clean, nice breakfast. Staff is very friendly (especially Tanya, don’t know if I write her name correctly, but she was the lady at the desk). Room is spacious and beds are comfortable.

The fire alarm went off at 4.45 am. Nobody can help such things but it was detrimental for my sleep.

I came across Marieta during breakfast. She was a bright ray of sunshine to start the day. Very warm & inviting.... made me feel like I was at a bed & breakfast. At one point a little girl left her water bottle on a table because her family seemed to be rushing to the airport with their luggage. Marieta noticed it, quickly grabbed the water and ran after the family to catch them at the elevator. I could see how grateful the little girl was when she saw Marieta coming. Sounds silly, but it's the little gestures that help us cope with the chaos of everyday life.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel, and one of the main reasons was Marieta. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. From the very beginning, she made us feel welcome and always greeted us with a genuine smile. Marieta went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. She was always willing to assist, offered excellent service, and made every meal even more enjoyable with her positive attitude and professionalism. Her dedication and warmth truly made a difference in our stay. She is a great example of outstanding hospitality, and we are very grateful for all her help. Thank you, Marieta, for making our visit so special. We hope to see you again on our next trip!

The hotel was amazing. The check in was super quick and I liked how the lady at reception informed us that if we became a member we could check in early which was super kind of her and she helped us sign up. The rooms were huge and very clean with a lot of outlets which is good for charging all our devices and the bathrooms had good quality Dove products. The location was really good as it was 5 minutes walk to Hollywood Highland Metro and many bus routes and the street has good view of the Hollywood sign. The hotel was very safe with security at the entrance and you need the key card to enter so feels safe for families. The breakfast was exceptional with a lot of choice for vegans, vegetarians etc and the food was super tasty with an automatic pancake machine. The hosts are very accommodating and always welcome you and help you find a seat and get a plate. They also are very kind and were always ready to have a conversation, giving the breakfast room have a very lively atmosphere. Furthermore, they always cleared our tables whenever they saw empty plates or offered to grab us more food when we were finished. Additionally, they always made sure food was stocked up and enough for everybody, eventhough it was almost closing time, ensuring we always have food ready for us. Marieta was exceptionally helpful where she saw empty bottles on my tables and offered to fill them all up for us and she was so jolly and happy to see everyone. She also let us know what food was next which was really nice and she informed us that we can take the fruit and coffee out our hotels room. The staff here are all super kind and the hotel had an amazing atmosphere.

The rooms were good and I want to give a shout out to Marieta and Lidia who were excellent hostesses while we had our complimentary breakfast.

Szűkös kínálatú amerikai reggeli (palacsinta, tojás, kolbászkák vagy pulykapogácsa váltogatva, nem egyszerre..., sült krumpli). Zöldség soha nincs, gyümölcsböl csak alma és narancs. A reggeliztető személyzet azonban nagyon kedves volt, és a reggeliző helyiség is megfelelő méretű, sok asztallal. Napközben víz, kávé nem elérhetö. A szállodalánc más egységeivel összehasonlítva nagy csalódás. A klíma közvetenüll az ágy mellett van a födön, így éjjel nem igazán használható. A mi szobánkban rossz szag volt, de ez valószínűleg nem általános jelenség a szállodában. Egy mikrohullámú sütő jól jött volna.

Great location walkable to Hollywood Bowl. Marieta in the breakfast area is wonderful—friendly and so helpful. Great choice to stay over after a show.

We stayed there with our four kids. The location is good, walking distance to walk of fame and many other activities. Breakfast-staff (Marieta and Véronica) were very kind and helpful. The only issue was that there were very few gluten-free options. No bread etc. I would expect that there should be more options when staying at a hotel in a large chain as IHG. Neighborhood felt safe.

Loved their warm breakfast. Everything was delicious 😋. I enjoyed our stay here❣️The employees were very welcoming!

The breakfast is good, and Marieta the breakfast helper is so sweet! She checked in on us and was shocked that we were flying out because she hadn’t talked to us before. The front desk lady was also sooo upbeat, and I loved all of her help! The hotel location was also quite nice, and the rooms were kept nice and clean.

Nice location and very friendly and helpful free breakfast service. Had hot dishes, pancakes , fruit, etc Marieta went above and beyond making sure we had napkins and food that we wanted. So friendly and helpful. Valet parking. Would stay here again!

What a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hollywood Walk of Fame! We were made to feel like a home away from home! Especially the service of Marieta & Veronica, I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my time and have never had service this good. They are kind, caring and always looking after my 3 children. The breakfast is delicious, pool is great for the kids and rooms are very clean and modern!

We have stayed here before, but it has been a while and the property has been renovated between our stays. Everything looks new and nice. I am Diamond level with IHG One Rewards for context and do stay frequently at various Holiday Inn Express locations. This particular location does have valet only parking. I am not a fan of valet parking, but it is a tight parking garage and it is Hollywood, so it goes with the territory. The valet attendant was great although I did not get his name. He was there both evening and the next morning. The room was comfortable and quiet (we were in the back building). It was everything you expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Some things that are peculiar to this particular property: It feels a bit like the Winchester house as you wander through. There are two buildings and the hotel is built on the side of a hill. So to get to the back building, you take an elevator from the lobby up to floor five, then walk through hallways making two right turns along the way to another elevator which accesses floors 4 through 7. Along the way you look down and the pool which is in the center of the building with rooms and hallways all around. You can access floor 4 from the back building elevator which is where the breakfast room and pool are located. I'm assuming when the breakfast room is closed, you cannot walk all the way through floor 4 to both buildings. It is a little complicated. You run into other confused guests trying to find their way. The breakfast was great. There have been many reviews about the staff, and we had Marieta and Elsie. They are both pleasant and personable and keep everything stocked and fresh. It is one of the best run breakfast rooms I have experienced for the brand. The food choices are the brand standards, nothing extra. Another new development since our last stay was the amenity fee. They don't call it that, they call it a "Service Fee" and it seems to be a percentage of the room rate. There is no indication as to what it is for, no explanation whatsoever anywhere in the booking process. If you go into the details of other fees, it simply states a percentage and the words "Service Fee". This is the first time I have seen this on any IHG hotel where they did not specify it as Amenity Fee, Destination Fee, etc. and list what it included (generally garbage, but at least an effort is made). But the most interesting part is that I was staying on a points night, so free to me. BUT, it is still subject to the mystery Service Fee. I didn't bother to ask how they compute it on a free room since the percentage varies, but based on the math it appears to have been computed on the lowest standard rate for the room. Overall, this is simply a price increase without calling it that. The other hotels nearby do not have a service or amenity fee so far. Overall, I would stay here again if the price was right as the stay itself was pleasant. But do not forget to calculate the Service Fee in your overall cost when making booking decisions.

The property is central and the age shows, but it works all works out. The staff is mostly friendly, the valet guys are great (Jose & JoseGuillermo) and the breakfast ladies are amazing! The place is OK, nothing special, except .. Nothing about this place gives me the feel "I want to come again", except the breakfast ladies. Marieta & Veronica make a great team and they run a tight breakfast show It's a common breakfast but you get such personalized attention. They are tireless in ensuring every guest, and I mean every single one of them gets personalized attention. Families with kids, bigger parties waiting to be seated, ensuring tables are clean, coffee needs a creamer, you need a sauce or anything, they just want to stay on top. This is probably one reason I would come back to this place. The hospitality by the breakfast ladies!

Fantastic 3-night stay in June! Perfect hotel with an unbeatable location. We had breakfast daily, and Marieta in the breakfast room was a standout—the hotel is very lucky to have such an amazing staff member! Our bedroom was also huge and fabulous. 10/10!

Stayed two nights. Ideal location for the hollywood bowl, extremely convenient and quite comfortable. Pros: Much more updated than many other older California motels. Very clean. Big rooms, quite comfortable. Good beds, slept well and bedding was really good with many pillows. Breakfast was reasonable compared to most motels/hotels of this standard, on the better side. They did have soymilk, which was appreciated and cooked oatmeal as well with walnuts, raisins, etc The staff here are the high point, very helpful and motivated to make sure you're happy. Excellent experience with the team from the front desk to the ladies who run the breakfast room. Great location, easily walkable to the concert. Cons: I guess its just California event pricing but $300+ US for a renovated motel is not great value, but I understand it is relative. Parking fee is irritating but I understand and it was easy to get the car when we needed it. Older renovated motel issues: AC is noisy which is not great, although did cool fantastically, which was appreciated since it was hot when we were there. Bathroom got hot after showers and didn't exhaust. Finally, the breakfast service was fantastic, but the ladies walked around handing out tripadvisor cards soliciting reviews. They earned it but I don't like that practice as it distorts objectivity. Surprising for an IHG hotel.

Great location, walking distance from the Walk of Fame, easy to drive from the North.

Very clean hotel with an easy check-in. Breakfast was really good with a great variety of options. I especially wanted to take the time to recognize the wonderful service from MARIETA and VERÓNICA, the breakfast staff. They both went above and beyond — so sweet, attentive, and helpful. They had a baby high chair available, which made our mornings so much easier with our little one. They kept clearing the table, asked several times if we needed anything else, and always made us feel welcome. Traveling with a baby can be challenging, but thanks to them breakfast was the most relaxing part of our day. They were amazing!!

First, I want to say that the staff here is very kind and welcoming, from the front desk and check in, to housekeeping, and especially the ladies in the breakfast room. I know that it’s not a full service restaurant but Marieta, Veronica, and Elsie were there every day, smiling, offering to fill water bottles, clear plates, keep the food stocked, and help us find seats. They really made the stay here enjoyable. The rooms are clean and well-stocked. We stayed here 4 nights and whenever we needed anything, it just took a quick call to get it. The location is just a couple of blocks off Hollywood Bl and the Walk of Fame. It’s a short walk to get there. It’s also within walking distance of the Hollywood Bowl. Overall a great stay and I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

We stayed here for four nights in June. Fantastic location, perfect hotel, had breakfast every morning, Marieta and Veronica were amazing in the breakfast room. The hotel , as I am sure it knows, are very lucky to have them. Fabulous big bedroom, lovely swimming pool, I wish every hotel was like this one!

Breakfast was included which was great, Elsie and the other ladies in the breakfast room were fantastic, all lovely, helpful and were always there to take our plates even though they didn’t have to. The reception was fantastic, organised interconnecting rooms for us very last minute.

Rooms and bathroom were big, interconnecting rooms.

Great location to stay for Hollywood Bowl. Easy 15 min walk. Parking is easy. Rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast is good with hot entrees. Marieta and Elsie are super cheerful and made bfast extra special.

The hotel rooms are very clean. The front staff and the ladies ( Marieta & Veronica ) that work in the breakfast room are very nice and pleasant. I honestly though the free breakfast was very delicious as well. I recommend my anyone to stay here for a trip in the area. Especially since it’s close to Universal Studios and City Walk.

Elevator is dangerous, could lose your body parts if not careful. Some of the stuff is rude when kids need to use the bathroom in a rush.

Marieta and Veronica prepared a lovely buffet for us.

This is a very friendly place with wonderful staff. As a single traveler, I felt very safe in this hotel. The room was in great shape. I would definitely recommend it. A special shoutout to Elsie, Marieta, and Veronica for their wonderful job in the breakfast room. They were friendly and attentive to guest's needs.

Nice clean rooms, great valet service, and excellent breakfast workers. The customer service at the front desk was good for the most part (one guy in the evening could work on his customer service skills).

Staying at the Holiday Inn Express - Walk of Fame made our trip quite smooth - no easy feat when traveling with 15 middle schoolers! After a harrowing day of flight delays, the valet welcomed us warmly at 3:00 AM and took our 2 large vans off our hands. Waking up to the smiling faces of Veronica, Elsie, and Marieta each day at the fourth floor continental breakfast was a treat. They started our days off on a great foot. The crew took great care of us, remembering hot water for my very specific tea canister, and laying out a good spread, including pancakes, cinnamon rolls, different omelets and sausage each day, cereals, juice, coffee, and tea. The rooms were clean and comfy, modern and well-kept. We will definitely book here again next time!

I had booked 2 rooms for my family that were on different floors. But the front desk staff made a real effort to get rooms near each other on the same floor which made logistics much easier on us. The breakfast offered a lot of variety. The dining area was well maintained and clean thanks to Marieta and Veronica. They provided great service with a smile.

Short but Wonderful stay at a nice and clean hotel just a block and a half away from the walk of fame. Check in was smooth, and our receptionist answered our abundance of questions about the area. She also gave us directions to where we needed to go. The room was comfortable, quiet, with nothing damaged or broken in the room. The AC cooled well, and quickly. The breakfast was delicious. Marieta attended to us during breakfast and she was engaging in conversation while she kept our dirty dishes out of the way. All in all, it was a great stay. We’ll be back the next time we are in the area.

The Holiday Inn was located in a perfect spot, walking distance to Hollywood Blvd and all sites we wanted to see.
