Hotel Zelos San Francisco

The hotel location was extremely convenient for finding public transportation and the hotel room was very comfortable being in the middle of the city.

The only detail that stood out was the shower drain was a little slow to where water would pool a bits

The room was too big with a king bed. It was comfortable and cozy. The location was perfect.

The bathroom was older than it appeared in the photos. Also, breakfast was included in our booking, but when we checked in, we were given two voucher coupons worth a total of only USD 25 per person. In reality, that amount was barely enough for an omelet. I think the hotel should improve the breakfast arrangement, especially since breakfast was advertised as included.

Excellent location, very quiet, very clean, secure.

The hotel was already expensive, although comparatively a bit less than the other standards. But then added a $35 fee each day for use of their own facilities. Ridiculous! for that, they could’ve added some nice croissants with the coffee available. There is also additional parking fee so I recommend using the fifth admission garage which is cheaper than the hotel charges.

Hotel Zelos is a great hotel! We arrived early and Jeff and Jesille provided excellent customer service, by ensuring that we were properly checked in and all of our needs were meet. Jeff even called us to let us know that our room was ready. The top notch customer service Jeff and Jesille gave use was like nothing I have seen in a long time. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is not just looking for a good hotel but a great customer service staff as well. You could tell that they both cared about the customer as well as the type of service they provided to each individual. The rooms were very clean, and the location was spot on! I would definitely choose this hotel again the next time I visit San Francisco!

Booked my stay through Hotwire and got a decent price. The lobby is under construction so check in is on the 5th floor. It’s a nice property that has recently been updated. The staff was a bit rude when I checked in, perhaps they were just overwhelmed but I got a bad vibe from the guy that checked me in. Maybe it was because I booked through a third party? My room was very nice, clean and comfortable. My view was an office building that was fairly close so I kept my curtains closed the entire stay otherwise I felt I was on display. My favorite part of my stay was the shower. It was fricken amazing!! Stay for the shower if nothing else. My main complaint is the lack of a coffee maker in the room. Being from the midwest I wake up at 3:00am PST and had to wait until 5 for starbucks to open and 6:30 for the hotel to put out their coffee. Nice location just off Market and close to downtown. There are great hotels in town with coffee makers and without attitudes. I may try this one again but for now I’m not a big fan.

Great location and amazing staff that was warm and welcoming. I got upgraded in my room which was a great room that was huge and extremely clean and overall beautiful.

The location is extraordinarily convenient for the convention in Moscone Center. Very welcoming atmosphere. The room was very clean and orderly. The receptionist Jasmine was greatly helpful and gave us all the information and options we needed. Glad to have booked my stay with her, 10/10.

We stayed for four days this week as my daughter was starting in USF. The team in the hotel, both prior to arrival and during our stay were fantastic. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Thank you for a lovely stay

Loved it here!! Super modern, stylish & unique, cleanest ever, and the staff is just so friendly & helpful! Entering from garage has a unique gorgeous entry; entry to hotel is almost hidden but in a really cool way!!…and when you walk into your room you feel like wow this is nice!!

Love the room and the hotel in is the perfect location! Bart station is right down stairs so getting around was pretty easy. Jeff was very nice and helped us with early check in!

Yazmin was incredibly friendly and helpful. So kind in accomodating us and would reccomend this place to other people just because of her!

The service from Jeff at the front desk was spectacular! 5 star service from start to finish! Greeted us, answered questions, and even anticipated our needs. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean/modern! I will be staying here exclusively in future!

The location is great and you have access to lots of public transportation options. It’s a very chill hotel and you feel welcomed and at home there. The rooms are small, but it’s honestly perfect. They’re clean and tidy, couldn’t ask for more. The staff is friendly and the check in/check out process is very easy. Would recommend.

Location was awesome in a safe area. BART train to/from airport, MUNI, and cable cars were a block away or less. Front desk staff were very friendly and were helpful offering suggestions to my son and I on our first visit to the city. Room was clean, modern, and well-kept. Housekeeping did an awesome job. I would definitely want to stay here again when we come back to San Francisco!

Jeff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the rest of the staff was just as kind and helpful. One thing I really appreciated was that someone from the staff checked in with me the morning after my arrival to make sure everything was going well and to see if there was anything I needed to make my stay more comfortable. The location is another big plus. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to do within walking distance, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here!

Booked a last minute stay and just from walking in, the energy was exceptional, a big thanks to Jeff for assisting me throughout the check-in process. It’s my first day in the city and I can say for certain, I’m already loving it just based off of the energy in this hotel

O café da manhã é gostoso, porém muito caro, principalmente considerando que o hotel fica numa área repleta de boas opções como o Caffe Central, meu favorito. Durante a limpeza, levaram meu travesseiro de bordo junto com a roupa de cama e nunca mais o vi. No entanto, o staff pediu desculpas e me ofereceu desconto nas taxas. Considero uma boa saída, apesar de ter sido uma perda afetiva, pois o travesseiro tinha sido presente do meu afilhado quando pequenininho.

The location is excellent—right in the city center and surrounded by numerous restaurants, famous brands, parks, and a cinema. The reception staff are friendly and responsive to guest requests. I was also particularly impressed by their exceptional bathrobes.

Outside was a little sketchy, wouldn’t feel comfortable walking around at night and it wouldn’t been better if there was a card reader at the front.

Room small badly, carpet need a proper clean, and air need to be refreshed (aircon was old and noisy, keeping me up at night). Shower with no pressure. Breakfast was included in the booking, but I only received a $22 voucher, which do not cover food, drink, tax and tips, ending up to pay additions every morning, pretty misleading, as the included breakfast was a reason I choose the hotel

Our stay at the Hotel Zelos was excellent. The room was beautiful, modern, and clean. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job and were also very friendly. I would recommend the Hotel if you are coming to San Francisco for a visit!

We had an awesome 2 night stay with friends and family. We had a total of 4 rooms among our group and everyone raved about their clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and cool vibe. Location is also convenient to shopping, restaurants, sightseeing and transportation. Highly recommend and will not hesitate to book again when visiting San Francisco.

Walked in and instantly was so excited it’s classy and simple but also clean and welcoming. I was greeted by the 2 amazing ladies at the front Jasmi and Jesille who were so helpful and kind. I came with my boyfriend on our first one year trip and she made it extra amazing by updating us to a room with a bigger bathtub after i had made a joke about wanting to swim. Offered free breakfast and coffee with a cute bar that has such a lovely and fun vibe. 1000000000/10 I would love to come and stay here again. oh also the room was amazing perfect bed and bathroom were both so clean!!!

Hotel Zelos was a warm, welcoming and quaint hotel in the middle of Union Station near public transit, museums, culture and next door to Trader Joe’s.

Great location, and very good value in this hip smaller 4 star hotel. Jesille was awesome at checkin, parking with valet Feldt very safe and secure, and the small Jim worked perfectly for our needs. I would definitely come back again.

I arrived after midnight in Zelos without a reservation, after having searched for many other hotels in the area. The guy at the front desk (Michael) was really attentive and helpful, kudos to the staff team, and I was finally able to get rest. Great location and room, would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely fantastic experience here! Opting to skip housekeeping gives you $10 credit to use at the bar/restaurant on the 5th floor. Any questions, you can text the number and they will respond at lightning speeds. Also the staff at the Dirty Habit (bar/restaurant) are amazing. Soap and amenities smell ahhhmazing! And bed was the comfiest ever. Front desk staff Jasmin and Amish were so patient and kind during the checkout process and holding on to luggage while we waited for our ride. Good vibes 24/7 here. Amazing location, very central to lots of cool Stuff and great food. The food inside the hotel was just what we needed and the atmosphere is even better, the ribeye was a 9pm impulse after a 8 hour day of driving and it was everything we needed. Jasmin at the front was such a sweetheart and great host. We ended up staying here again at the end of our road trip because we liked it so much in the way out. Rooms were clean, and the bed was so comfortable. Definitely coming back soon!

We found this hotel on Trip Advisor, were looking for a place near downtown that we could walk to from the ball park (it is a mile walk). It was perfect and traveller reviews here were accurate. The executive king city view room was kind of corporate but roomy and lovely, and very quiet. The resort fee includes a $10 voucher for the restaurant which has a happy hour from 4-6 so we sought a snack and drink there. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. There is not much to the lobby, and it is right next to a large Trader Joes with a busy bus stop in front, but don't let that throw you off, the rooms are nice and the price was very reasonable.

I rocked up about 3 hours before the check-in time, weary from a long flight. But Jesille noticed that during the check-in process and went the extra mile to find an open room upgrade so I could get in a room early. Awesome experience all around! Great hotel

The hotel is centrally located and is located in a desirable area when it comes to access to the city. Jamine welcomed us very professionally and accomodating. The room was roomy and well appointed. The hotel is well furnished and updated. The walls are well insulated from noise and from other patrons. Overall, my family's whole stay was very relaxing. By the way, access to Trader Joes are a huge plus.

Room was decent! Had some crumbs and stains from previous person who stayed (I assume) but they cleaned what they were able to when I brought this to their attention. Jasmin is amazing and actually let us book early for no extra fee! I could assume it's because airbnb made booking with them extremely difficult but it's not their fault in any way! Finally, we're next to one of the best clothing stores I've ever been to which is a 3 floor Ross??? We're also next to Trader Joe's and a Target. Would definitely come back!

The location was so convenient for the conference I was at. I walked to a lot of different areas from my hotel.

The property was clean, elevators were fast and the rooms were nice.

Very good hotel. No microwaves in the room. No steamers for suits in the closet, only iron. Had an unfortunate experience with the in-house restaurant that had me missing a meal. FOH staff is great. Cleaning services great. Beware of taxi services in this area. Ubers cancel frequently and Waymo’s take forever to get to you. I think it’s due to the terrible traffic congestion in the area and GPS is unable to properly pinpoint you in this part of town. If you have to be certain places during the day, on a schedule, you will miss your ETA.

This was a special trip for me and my wife. When Jasmine asked what brought us to San Francisco, we told her we were celebrating 26 years of marriage. She kindly gave us a nice room and a bottle of wine to celebrate. Jasmine made our trip even more memorable. This was some of the best hospitality we have experienced in any hotel we have stayed at. She is a real asset to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the wide window overlooking Market Street. Even though it is a busy area, the room was surprisingly quiet. Thank you, Jasmine, for making our celebration of 26 years of marriage so special.

Valet parking was very convenient, but it was very expensive. Noted $55.00 on website, but I have a MID Sized pick up truck so was charged an undisclosed Oversized rate of $75, plus $10 tax, so parking was actually $85.00. Restaurant food was expensive (I guess all of SF is, but even the hotel's breakfast prices were the same as any other SF city restaurant. $27 for a 2 egg meal. For example, my 8 oz glass of wine was $30.00.

Our stay was wonderful, especially the front desk. Jeff and Jesille made us feel so welcomed right as we walked in the front doors. They were extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Hands down best San Francisco trip ever! Conveniently on Market St, easy walk to Union Square. Less than a mile walk to Oracle Park to cheer on our Chicago Cubs. Jeff and Jesille are super friendly and professional. They treated us like VIP guests. Honestly we had such a good conversation, they felt like family! The room was super clean, modernly designed and well equipped with all the necessities. The staff at Dirty Habit (in house restaurant) were also ready to serve with pleasure. Stop looking and book your next stay with Hotel Zelos. You won't regret it.
