Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport

The hotel offers free pick up to and from the Airport. We booked for the night prior to a late evening departure and were given a late check-out, then able to wait in the lobby in comfortable chairs until it was time to take the shuttle. We had a meal in the evening at the onsite restaurant which was enjoyed and reasonably priced. The view from our 11th floor room was over the Fraser River and planes could be seen coming into land

I really appreciated the ability to check in a bit early. I had been working all week. Breakfast had typical options. No complaints.

I’ve stayed in many hotels and on arrival the bell service helps you with your luggage and walks you to your room. When I got to my room there was dirty plates outside my door. The pillows were very uncomfortable (too soft for my liking). With so many on the bed it might be a good idea to have some firmer ones. The tv guide on the converter didn’t work. When I first got in the room it was on and scrolling but never worked again. The tv screen was too dark.

Facilities were a bit dated for the price paid, but it was convenient to coming into Vancouver after a long 15 hour flight as a stop over point.

This property has a great free airport shuttle. The location of the property is great, two stops down is a really nice mall and there is a large Suoerstore that is walkable from the property and also a Tim Hortons across the street. When cruising it is very convenient to take the train to the Waterfront where you walk less than 2 blocks to the Cruise Terminal. I would highly recommend this property as the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property is going under renovations. Things didn’t work. Air-conditioning is noisy. Only one lift was working and the hotel is very old and rundown.

Extrem hellhörig, nachts Massen von grölenden, besoffenen Menschen, ab 5.30 Uhr jeden morgen mindestens 2 h Müllabfuhr, die mit viel Lärm Tonnenweise Altglas und sonstigen Müll des ganzen Viertels direkt vor dem Hotel entsorgt. Lage ist für Hotelnutzung absolut ungeeignet! An Schlaf ist nicht zu denken. Wenn überhaupt, dann müssten Schallschutzfenster eingebaut werden. Wir hätten eigentlich schon misstrauisch werden müssen, da auf dem Tisch drei Packungen Ohrstöpsel zu sehen waren. Aber selbst damit war es definitiv zu laut!

Minor point but we didnt realise we needed to phone straight away for the shuttle bus so we ended up waiting quite a long time

Easy access to the airport and right next to a gaming centre which was perfect to keep the kids entertained for a 1 night overnight airport stay

Clean and chose because of the airport shuttle at early hours.

It seems as if the price increased but could have been the US $ conversion to Canadian. Unless you like Oriental cuisine, there were not many options to dine within walking distance.

La piscina y el gym. Aunque no pudimos usar la piscina porque tenían clases de gente externa al hotel que llevaba a sus hijos a clases de natación.

El hotel está bastante viejo, se nota en los muebles y en las habitaciones. El ascensor principal estaba en mantenimiento y tuvimos que subir por el de carga y estaba sucio.

The hotel was very close to the airport - that was a plus. The hotel did get our rooms ready early so we could check in earlier.

When I booked this hotel it showed breakfast included but when I asked for a breakfast voucher as instructed by the restaurant I was told it was not included. When I went to turn down my bed to get ready for sleep it looked like the bed sheets had been smoothed out from someone else sleeping there the night before and there was long hair all over the pillow. Kind of grossed me out!

The airport shuttle service is wonderful. The decor looks dated but everything works perfectly - shower was great, staff were helpful and friendly and the location was excellent 👍🏼, opposite a mall called Aberdeen Centre.

The bed sheets didn’t fit the bed, no complimentary water in the room, there was noise from the lift to the 12 floor, I was invited to pay for an upgrade to the penthouse suite (on the 11th floor) only to find that there was a floor above me. I just didn’t feel that this room was value for money. I wouldn’t stay here again, I’d find a different airport hotel.

We arrived late and had a car with us which wasn't expected. The reception attendant was very helpful, giving us parking for free. We only stayed for one night and left early so didn't use many of the facilities but what we did use was fine.

Comfy bed and free shuttle bus from airport. But if you take the SkyTrain, please get off at Aberdeen station. It's just a few steps away. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants around the hotel. I arrived around 2.30 p.m., but the front staff still managed to let me get in the room before the check-in time (3.00 p.m.) The check-out time is 12.00 pm which is very rare to find this from other hotels.

The driver for a shuttle bus service was a bit aggressive driving when he drove me to the hotel after he picked up some call, but he was polite enough to me.

Was overcharged on arrival which I discussed at the time and was dismissed. In follow up discussion next day was acknowledged and overcharge amended.

This is a fairly standard hotel. It's a bit old and you feel it, although it is reasonably well maintained and clean. The staff is great: helpful, friendly and competent. Calling it an airport hotel is a bit of a stretch, but their complementary and efficient airport shuttle makes up for the location. Also, it's right next to the Aberdeen train station, so getting into downtown Vancouver is easy and straightforward.

Very spacious clean and had all you need in the apartment.

Lift access to 12th floor from ground level was not ideal as the lift only went to the 11th floor and you had to then use a cross over lift or use the stairs to lug your suitcases up to the the 12th floor. In our case it was quicker to walk up and down the fire exit stairs.

Always enjoy staying at the Rad or Rad Blue, its our 'go to'.

Unfortunately, the hotel was having work done. The builders (against the hotel's wishes) started unloading their tools around 7am and started drilling into the adjacent wall around 7:45. Literally sounded like a building site at 7:45am. I took a video/sound recording and informed the duty manager, who was very apologetic, as it was somewhat out of his/their control, and tried to put things right. Unfortunately, I'm now wide awake, and the damage was done. Think the work is going on for a further few months or so. Otherwise, the hotel/facilities were top-notch as expected from all of our stays at the Rad... just the noise in the morning was a pain in the rear!!

Complimentary airport shuttle bus is convenient. Great location, situated next to Aberdeen skytrain station, Aberdeen Centre and Yaohan Centre. Buffet-style breakfast for adults and kids gives a good start of our day.

The staff didn’t smile and seem like they just wanted to move you along - felt like a number in a queue. Blow dryer was cold and coffee was awful!

Super location, close to airport (with a courtesy shuttle bus too) and to the Canada Line metro to get to down town. Great family room and friendly staff who assisted us.

Eine sehr teures in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Bei dem Preis, auch noch Parkplatz Gebühren zu erheben fanden wir nicht angemessen. Desweiteren weigert sich das Hotel als auch Booking eine Rechnung auszustellen. Diese wird benötigt da es eine geschäftliche Reise war. Der Badebereich/Wellnessbereich ist alt und war nicht sehr sauber als wir dort waren. Auch konnten wir die Bereiche nur eingeschränkt nutzen. Es befanden sich Baustellen im Hotel, die sehr auffällig waren. Das Frühstück war sehr gut jedoch mussten wir auch für das Baby was nicht gegessen hat die Frühstücksgebühr bezahlen. Nach den Bildern hatte wir deutlich mehr erwartet.

Our room was on the top floor. Furniture was dirty, room was a hassle to get to as we had to transfer to a small freight elevator on the floor below to get to the 12th floor. We had lots of luggage to move.

It’s a good hotel. It is in need of modernising. And while we were there they were upgrading the elevators. The location is great for access to different areas but when you want to be close to airport. The 12:00 pm check out is also really good.

It needs some modernising. The 1 bed suites are not that spacious when you need to use the sofa bed in the living room. The breakfast isn’t great (but pricey).

Exceptional Service , great location . We arrived a few hours earlier and they were nice enough to allow us check in early. When we left the booked shuttle to airport left 2 minutes earlier and we were left behind. The staff named Preet was very kind and called in a taxi for us at their cost. Much appreciated!

抵達後已預約好晚上的飯店接駁車至機場，出發前15分鐘還先到櫃檯確認會發車，但到了預訂時間接駁車卻沒有出現，直到自己去櫃檯再次詢問，才說幫我問問看司機，最後又再多等了15分鐘叫了一台小的計程車送我們去機場。 整個接駁車的流程都很不順，要一直自己主動去追蹤和詢問。

All staff members we encountered were very helpful and professional. The location was as expected.

The property, especially the rooms are very dated.

There was a problem with the safe in the room, after locking our valuables in there we could not reopen it with the code. However this was resolved after a half hour wait. Disappointed no breakfast included given the price of the room.

It is very out dated. We did not feel it lived up to the Radisson experiences we have had in the past, and we got a different room than the one we booked. Old dark furniture and carpets and a musty smell, but we were only there for one night. I am glad we did not have to be in that room for several days.

Didn't stay long enough but short visit good

The location of the hotel is excellent. Just a few minutes walk to Aberdeen Station. Free shuttle bus service to/from YVR. There are shopping centres and asian restaurants around the area, all within a 10-min walk.

One of the 2 elevators for the hotel is under maintenance, it took some time every time to go up/down.

Thanks for the early check-in. Staff is very helpful and nice. There is 24 hours shuttle bus from airport. And also very close to subway station. It’s so easy to go to city centre. Rooms are very clean.

Arrived at 2am, given a room on 12 floor, which required going up a guest lift to the 11th floor then finding the goods lift to the 12th. Reception omitted telling us this detail so we had to work it out. Wouldn’t give us late check out even though we weren’t flying till 10:20 pm that day. So paid for a room for 10 hours. Room was hot and stuffy, we had to crank up aircon to cool it down so we could sleep listening to the drone of the exhaust fan. Won’t be using Radisson again even though we think this one might be owned by someone else!!!

Location is a very busy industrialised area

Very good experience. Rooms are comfortable and quiet even though near the airport, Wi-Fi was excellent, plenty of hot water and water pressure, personnel are great especially I'd like to mention Ana and Elena at the front desk. We're always helpful and with a great positive attitudes. As mentioned in other reviews, nice to have a mall across the street along with the SkyTrain. Asian Grocery and food options located behind the hotel as well; opens at 9:00am a.m.

It was a great location, the king suite room was huge and tastefully decorated. The room was quiet and cool. Early check in was requested and provided at 10am even though they were full the previous night but ensured the cleaners prioritised cleaning our room so we could rest after a long international flight. The free shuttle service to pick up and drop off at the hotel from/to airport was very much appreciated.

I’m not a fan of having a shower over a bath but the shower was nice anyway. Two lifts were also not working leaving only one lift for everyone so sometimes a bit of a delay. The male waiter in the restaurant seemed to be in a bad mood last night and went missing when we wanted to pay for our meal. We waited for about 10 minutes for the waitress to emerge from the kitchen so we could pay for our meal and she was surprised the waiter hadn’t served us.

Stay was great however they charged me for a deposit for my stay and 'forgot' to cancel it. Deposits are never actually charged and cancelled afterwards. I had to chase them to get my money back. Their website is very non-comfortable to contact for a complaint. Luckily Booking took care of it very fast

Our original room smelled strongly of smoke so we requested a new room.
