Very clean and comfortable . Central location, walk to everything. Great breakfast. Hosts go above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing. Beds lovely. Elegant, refined setting. Thoroughly enjoyed our time. Entry System gives easy access to the inn and room. Parking right outside.

Smaller room, cozy. Stairs up to the room though host kindly carried suitcase upon arrival and departure.

I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast. It exceeded my expectations. This was the last stop in our vacation and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. It was spa like comfort.

Maybe the room could have been a bit bigger

The property was very charming, with lovely decorations, a comfortable bed, and a large bathroom with a nice shower and plenty of sink space. Randy prepared a huge, delicious breakfast every morning, served on beautiful plates, and a snack was available every afternoon. Kelly welcomed us when we arrived and answered any questions we had throughout our stay. We were able to walk to all of the sites in town we wanted to see, and there was parking available for the rental car we used to go further afield.

There was nothing we disliked, but there are stairs to the bedrooms (no elevator,) so it is not ideal for guests with limited mobility.

A deux pas du boardwalk qui longe l’eau et du parc Victoria. Mais surtout, le personnel est d’une grande gentillesse, l’accueil est chaleureux. Les déjeuners sont variés et délicieux en plus d’être magnifiquement bien présentés. En plus du déjeuner, il y avait toujours une viennoiserie faite maison. La décoration est investie. Chaque jour, le propriétaire prépare un dessert maison qu’il laisse à notre disposition jusqu’au soir. Je me sentais comme une enfant qui revient dans sa maison réconfortante accueillie par les douceurs de sa maman.

Really quaint and lovely. Incredible breakfast (all the reviews are accurate!). And lots of attention to detail which I love. Very Victorian but that was just charming.

Our stay was amazing!! We were greeted with a smile and we felt at home right away! The room was chic and cozy! They were also very accommodating for our last minute schedule change! The smoked salmon omelette breakfast was delicious and all the little touches to the meal made it special (asparagus, fresh biscuits…). Definitely would recommend it to a friend and we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Easy walking distance to local eateries and sights and the hosts were super accommodating. Would definitely return to this property.

Charlotte Rose Inn – Where Comfort Meets Island Charm We had a wonderful stay at the Charlotte Rose Inn during our visit to Prince Edward Island in 2025, and it truly made our trip memorable. Location: Perfectly situated, the Inn is just a 5-minute walk to Queen Street, Victoria Park’s scenic boardwalk, and the Beaconsfield Historic House. The waterfront is also an easy 15-minute stroll away. The city center is filled with restaurants, cafés, and bars offering a wide range of dining choices — from casual bites to fine dining — all within walking distance. Room: Our room was a comfortable size, with an impressively spacious bathroom. The air-conditioning was strong and much appreciated during the unusually hot summer. We also loved the practical touches — plenty of plug points with USB sockets, a quality steam iron, and thoughtful amenities. Food & Beverage: Breakfast was outstanding — plentiful, varied, and of superb quality. The host bakes fresh pastries daily, each day offering something new and delicious. The common area is stocked 24/7 with coffee, tea, milk, water, and even chocolates, which felt like such a generous touch. Service: The hospitality here is genuine and warm. As there’s no elevator, our host personally carried our heavy luggage to our first-floor room — a gesture we truly appreciated. Laundry service is available in-house for just CAD 10 per load, and ours was done the same day. Aesthetic: The front garden is simply beautiful, adding to the charm and welcoming feel of the place.

Areas for Improvement: The mattress was a little too soft for our backs, and the room felt somewhat crowded with furniture and decorative pillows, which made the space feel less open.

Charlotte’s Rose Inn was phenomenal: the rooms was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were substantial and varied each day over our five day stay. Staff were excellent: supportive and responsive to questions about town.

This property is second to none. It is decorated beautifully with charm & character! Room was ample in size and our bed comfortable. We enjoyed the afternoon refreshments and their gourmet breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quintessential Charlottetown experience! 5 star stay for sure!!!

Parking was good but tight

Immaculate! It’s such an interesting space, full of little treasures, but still feels tidy and clean!

It felt a bit expensive but for the space, and the delicious breakfast, we were still content.

The Inn was well located to walk to major sites in the City and for driving in/out of town. The Inn is well kept with cute period decoration. The bed was comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The host and staff were friendly and kind, and very accommodating. We weren’t able to stay for breakfast the days of our stay, and Randy was always trying to provide snacks instead. We appreciated this.

We couldn't believe the the high quality and presentation of the different Breakfast options included with our room. We have never had a breakfast that good at a 5* hotel. Kudos to the chef. Location wise you can't beat it in Charlottetown.

Staff super friendly and breakfast was over the top! Our room was all comfortable and location was great for walking about town. Everything was available for our comfort like list of sights to see, restaurant and their menu's, even umbrellas if need be. Our private outdoor porch area was lovely and relaxing away from the heat of the day. Stay, you will not be disappointed.

Friendly and helpful with everything even my luggage. The owners had day trips mapped out with what to see and how to get there. What a fantastic idea!

Our room had too much furniture in it so limited space to open up two suitcases.

We stayed for one night and loved it so much that we booked it again at their earliest availability which was three days later. This B&B is perhaps the best place that I’ve stayed away from home. 1. The home and our room was excellent everything so thoughtful placed and it seemed that they anticipated our all our needs. 2. 24/7 complimentary refreshments and snacks with superb china ware. Very thoughtful. 3. The breakfast was delicious, generous and what I’d term “fine dining”. 4. The home was elegantly decorated and in excellent shape. No level of detail was left wanting. 5. The hosts were kind and extremely well organized. 6. New technologies. While this was a Victorian devote home, it had all the amenities you’d expect for a a hotel including wifi, usb chargers, remote controlled fans(Dyson) hair dryers (Dyson). We sincerely appreciated the experience and thanked the hosts for being meticulous in taking their guests’ comfort into consideration.

We cannot fault the stay. Randy and his team are very hospitable and helpful. The place is meticulously and stylishly decorated. Credit to the hospitality industry. It was a marvelous stay. Very memorable. Location is great. Very close to the Main Street.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! The location is fabulous, an easy walk to everything in Charlottetown. The staff is just delightful, very thoughtful and caring. The sweet touches for our anniversary stay were very appreciated (photo included in my review)🩷

The only real complaint is that the bed is quite squeaky and the mini fridge is a bit noisy for the room we were in. I sleep with earplugs so not a big deal for me but if you are sound sensitive these are considerations.

What a great find. We were greeted immediately upon our arrival and Randy took our suitcase upstairs for us. The room was very nice with all kinds of amenities that one could ask for. Breakfasts were great and Randy and Kelly were always so helpful with anything we needed or asked about. Close to the downtown area with lots of restaurants and shops and beautiful waterfront.

The perfect stay if you're staying in Charlottetown. Rooms are super comfy and the place is conveniently located and walkable to every hot spot. The daily breakfasts are incredible and the staff's hospitality is top tier.

Breakfast was amazing - yummy and a work of art daily. Snacks, chocolates, cold water, tea and coffee anytime, room coffee maker. It's an old house so pur room (Lucy Maud) was pretty small with two twin beds .... Staff was lovely.

When you enter the Rose Inn you walk into a Victorian piece of art. Everything is very pleasantly put and designed. The breakfast setting is so pretty that you barely dare to start eating, which you really should since it is also delicious. Randy is a food artist, not just a chef. And Kaylee in the reception is the sweetest and most helpful and her smile lights up the day. Recommend the Rose Inn very much for all those who really wanna indulge in the vibes of life in the good ol’ times!
