Location is wonderfully convenient. Our room with a view of the castle was enchanting.

Location was great and the hotel had wonderful amenities, was clean and spacious. We didn’t eat breakfast but it looked great. Also appreciated being able to store luggage with our early arrival so we could see the city without having to lug suitcases behind us.

Property was perfectly located to many main attractions. It was an easy check in and out and an overall comfortable room. The staff were very friendly.

Værelserne var en smule små, der var desværre hår på en af vores håndklæder ved ankomst, og det var et meget dyrt hotel - sikkert grundet beliggenheden, men man kan klart få mere for pengene andetsteds.

Fantastic location and blessed with a beautiful view of the Castle. Extremely well equipped room, excellent choices for breakfast and onsite snack shop. Perfect for our mini break, will definitely return and highly recommend staying here.

Close to everything , the staff were amazing, the place was clean and had excellent communal areas.

Because we stayed with you we could have left our luggage with you for free while we went to go and do the west highland walk but we got told by one of your staff we couldn’t we had to go through Stasher when I went onto web site it didn’t bring up your property so we paid to have our luggage stored at a less convenient place for nearly $300 Australian. When we got told after we did that by another staff member that we could have it for free we were upset because of the conflicting information. So it would be good if all staff had the right information.

The location was great. We walked to all of the sites, and there were tons of restaurants nearby. It was super high-tech and eco friendly. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.

The location was amazing! Near castle and Grassmarket area. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Room had all the amenities and was in excellent condition.

Thr location is excellent. If you have a blue badge you can park outside the hotel, for free, for the duration of your trip!

The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable for me. One of the towels was dirty. There are student flats next door that gets very loud on the weekend.

Fabulous location. Very practical and lovely design. Well equiped gym.

Maintenance. The room I stayed in should have been out of order for the damage of the pavement that was repaired poorly. It was a detail that affected the fabulous experience otherwise.

The location was excellent and we had a lovely view of the castle. The aparthotel concept worked well for us - we liked having the kitchenette in the room and more facilities than a standard hotel room. We were greeted with a complimentary hamper which was a lovely surprise.

We were in a studio room and the configuration was strange and uncomfortable. The bed was right against the wall with very little room at the base to walk around it. It made getting in and out very difficult. The TV was on a wall running alongside the bed and the only chairs were hard and wooden, not at all comfortable - so the only way to watch TV was by sitting on the end of the bed without any support. We obviously didn't come to Edinburgh to watch TV - but at the end of a day of sightseeing it is good to be able to relax - we just couldn't in this room. There was also a really bad smell coming from the drains when we arrived - it went away after we ran the shower but it wasn't a pleasant way to be greeted.

We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, and the location was excellent within easy walking distance of the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Grassmarket and the main attractions of the Old Town. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

There was nothing significant that we disliked during our stay. Everything met our expectations and we had a very comfortable experience.

Perfect location! On a quiet street just at the edge of all the restaurants and shops. Beautiful view of Edinburgh castle. Quiet, perfect size room, couldn’t ask for a better stay!

My mum had a mobility scooter and the apartment offered plenty of room for her to manoeuvre. The staff were beyond helpful at all times.

The staff were amazing so relaxed and friendly the appartments were amazing stayed here twice now and ill be back breakfast was amazing too

No telephone in room or way to get help if an emergency, fall, etc. Scanning a QR code to message in an emergency is not adequate .

Paid breakfast, but it is good. you only get housekeeping service if your stay is for at least 7 days. If you are staying for 7 days or more, housekeeping's first visit to clean will be on the fifth day of your stay. We were able to check in a couple hours prior to the scheduled check in time. Laundry facilities and gym were clean. Room was nice, equipped with everything you could possibly need- such as pots, pans, cutlery, etc.

It was an expensive stay, but I think thats because we booking during the FRINGE festival so demand was high.

Location and breakfast are okay.

Extremely difficult to locate staff for check-in… they don’t appear to have a defined station, so it becomes a hunt. Then, even though the room was ready, they wanted to nickel and dime us with a charge for checking in early - literally the ONLY hotel out of thousands I’ve stayed at that does this. Bed layout is uncomfortable for two people - no light controls or plugs on one side. Bottom line is whether I would stay here again - not a chance

Room was more like a basement no light in the bedroom no window sofa bed was uncomfortable room was filthy, if this was advertised at a budget hotel then fair enough but it supposed to be very good I asked at reception for a different room but might aswell talked to the wall ,will never stay here again. Cost £600 for one night because a concert was on at murrayfield

Fantastische locatie, super vriendelijk personeel en een top kamer. Goed te verduisteren, kleine keuken helemaal up to date en een bed met uitzicht op het kasteel!

Jammer genoeg laat het glas geluid door, stonden er uren lang bussen stationair te draaien op straat. Vermoedelijk waren de prijzen erg hoog door het festival dat gehouden werd in de stad (wat voor ons een verrassing was).

Was in a good location for what we were doing (edinburgh tattoo) the room has everything someone would need for a stay, including a tiny kitchenette. I personally I wouldn't book a long vacation as it is very small but it was fine for one night. Car park was very close. The staff were pleasent when we arrived and we were shown to our room.

Although most of the room appeared clean, the wooden shelf bit on the wall behind the bed was filthy so wouldn't recommend putting anything there. The decor was very rundown down. Several cracks and holes in the wall, the floors looked dirty but it was just scrapes and chips in the flooring. The shower was ok but if you are nearing closer to 6ft and over, you won't fit underneath the shower head. The only natural light into the room is from the door, which people can see into the room quite easily as we were ground floor. Having curtains shut over meant no natural light. The bed was quite high and was big enough but for the person on the far away side to get in, they have to climb over the bed as there is no space around it. Something for people who may struggle to do that to be mindful about. Pillows had no support at all. Breakfast was very poor. There was a good selection but it just didn't live up to expectation. The hot food was cold! sausages were quite hard, the scrambled egg was far too sloppy, the cinammon pastry was very dry on the outside and unfortunately the entire fruit salad tasted like melon which I really dislike.

It was clean, all touristic spots are close by, calm save and the Staff Members were exeptionell friendly. Espacaly Kat she was really sympathic.

It was a little bit expensive but i understand why. There were the Edinburgh Tattoo and an other festival

It was located very high, so a very long walk up from the town, on a map it looks ok until you realise how steep the paths are, would recommend people arriving by taxi to use a taxi. We had 2 single beds but when we came to get into bed late at night after attending tattoo the single duvets had been put in doubled covers which meant they moved around all night and ended up not staying flat. It was too late for us to call housekeeping and then wait for them as it was after midnight at this point and we were exhausted. Informed reception in the morning, they sympathised and agreed it was unacceptable, hopefully it won’t happen to others z

Schönes Hotel mit kleinen, sehr gut ausgestatteten Appartements, tollem Blick auf die Burg in der Nähe des Grassmarkets mit breitgefächerter Pub- und Restaurantszene. Idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Edingburg zu Fuß zu erkunden, Bushaltestellen sind außerdem in der Nähe. Das junge Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Leider gab es keinen deutschen Fernsehsender und auch kein gutes, informatives englischsprachiges Programm. Starke Staubansammlung innen im Kühlschrank in den Querrillen im untersten Bereich, die wir mit dem Tischbesen entfernen konnten.

In a great location. We could walk to most places we wanted to visit. Next to a busy location but just a little bit further away so really quiet. We liked the high quality finish and appliances.

This stay exceeded our expectations! Not only was the location perfect for walking around and seeing everything we wanted, the staff was so lovely and helpful. The lobby has a wonderful lounge area with coffee, snacks and drinks which made it feel so comfortable and welcoming. The staff was also really helpful when we kept our bags for the day after we checked out and kept exploring. WiFi was also free and strong

The room was the best part of our stay, it was clean, well decorated and spacious. We didn't use it but the kitchen would've been a lovely addition to anyone wanting to self-cater. The room also features air con which we got a lot of use out of making the room always comfortable. The location is brilliant for exploring Edinburgh. We were a short walk to everything that we wanted to visit, whether it was restaurants, pubs, shops or viewpoints.

The hotel has a unique style of service that feels very much hands off with their staff. Some aspects like the self-checkout pantry for things like snacks and drinks were a fun idea, but unfortunately that's where our enjoyment ended. The listing states they have a restaurant but that description isn't very accurate. They only serve pizzas as a snack and we were told we can just order food to the hotel instead, so if you're booking here expecting to dine, don't! The pizza was ok, but the service was worse. Every time we wanted to order anything or ask for the bill we'd wait ages until we eventually had to chase down members of staff. In a restaurant you expect to be attended to, even if its just to take an order or give the bill, but we felt like we were neglected despite the lobby being empty of other guests. Breakfast was also self-service since its a buffet. There was a solid variety but I personally felt it was very overpriced. The hot foods were always lukewarm or cold when we ate there, regardless of what time we came down for breakfast. *Final Accessibility Note* If you're booking to visit Edinburgh Castle, don't be fooled by the seemingly close proximity. You are right at the bottom of it and while it is a short walk, it's a strenuous one! There are still other uphill routes that are double the time, but are more manageable. However this is just a note for those who may struggle with mobility, the location is still very much fantastic!

In the studio, the bed was only accessible on one side, as it was positioned in a corner, which made it difficult for the other person to get in & out.

The hotel is clean and in a good location, but unfortunately it lacks many basic amenities. Essential items such as complimentary bottled water and tissues were not provided. In addition, housekeeping is not available for stays shorter than seven days, which was never made clear at the time of booking. The biggest issue, however, was the staff. Hotel employees entered our room three times while my wife and I were inside. The final time, a staff member opened the door and told us to leave the room. This was a serious invasion of our privacy and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there is no telephone in the room to contact reception, making it difficult to resolve issues quickly. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and will be my last stay with this hotel chain.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Direkt im Zentrum und nur einen kurzen Fußmarsch von der Royal Mile entfernt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Badezimmer war sehr eng und wirkte etwas abgenutzt für den Preis. Die Sauberkeit im Bad mit WC war gegeben. Der Boden in den Wohnräumen hätte bei unserer Ankunft sauberer sein können. Der Gewandkasten ist selbst für zwei Personen viel zu klein konzipiert. Man muss eben den Koffer als Gewandanlage nutzen.

The staff were brilliant. Warm, friendly and cheerful from the moment we arrived to when we said goodbye. We had a room with a castle view and the location is perfect for Grasmarket and the Fringe or the galleries. But it was quiet at night with lots of mod cons.

The bed being right against the wall and lack of a bedside table for the person on the wall side of the room.

Great location and very clean. We stayed in a one bedroom and then a studio. Very comfortable beds.

no black out shades in the one bedroom. Noisy guests directly above us in the one bedroom and could hear walking, voices . Staff are very nice but have no way to contact management should any issue arise until the next day.

My family was hoping for a view of the castle from our room, but our room was blocked by a building, so the experience wasn't great. The staff were very helpful, but we were still disappointed; the photos on the official website had given us too much to look forward to. The staff explained that our room type was an apartment, which I understand, but perhaps they would have appreciated a more realistic description of the view from the window. The official website only advertised direct views of the castle, which misled us.
