1. Hot water is not really functional attendant attempted to fix it but the water can scald so we had to ask for bucket to use water from sink and mix with hot water very inconvenient 2. The pool water smells like ?metal after my child swam it's smells unusual and never again let my child swim for health reason 3. No space for parking area we had to park somewhere a little far and safe 4. One time water was down and we were supposed to go out early we had to wait for almost an hour to get the water back. 5. AC at first was nice and cold until we came back from an outing AC was not as cold as we checked in

We had a lovely time at Ecostay, the staff were lovely and friendly, the resort has a lovely rexlaxing atmosphere and is very quiet! It is a bit out of town but only 5 mins drive to the centre We slept great, the room was very dark and breakfast is good for the price! The fridge and the tv were very good and working, also free water refills and recycling bins which were appreciated greatly!! We rented a scooter from them as well which was very handy Great value overall!

Only thing is the shower definitely needs replacing or fixing as the water flow is terrible, we managed as we were only there for a few days

Had an amazing stay at Ecostay Resort! The location is perfect, close to beaches but still very quiet. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the accommodations are clean and cozy. Definitely a resort I’d recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Erg matig restaurant. Vieze koffie en thee, ontbijt zag er niet goed uit, veel opties op de kaart niet beschikbaar. Matige service. Vooraf gevraagd of wij scooter konden huren en konden ontbijten bij aankomst. Dit was goed bevonden. Bij aankomst moest ik de scooter opnieuw aanvragen en mochten we geen ontbijt meer bestellen. Zwembad stelt niks voor.

Ilmastointilaite piti kovaa meteliä. Huoneen ulkopuolella ei ollut pöytää eikä tuoleja.

L’établissement est situé à proximité de la ville et des plages. Notre gîte était propre et bien équipé.

Nous n’avons pas pu louer de moto via l’établissement car il n’y en avait plus de disponible (malgré les nombreux messages reçus pour nous proposer d’en louer). Nous n’avons pas été aidé pour trouver un endroit où louer une moto. Nous avons tenté de réserver une excursion en mer, l’établissement a annulé la veille à 19:00 sans nous proposer de solution de replie. La piscine n’était pas utilisable.

Hyggeligt sted. Maden var fantastisk til virkelig gode priser. Serverings personalet meget søde. Lille men lækker detalje, stof servietter i restauranten. Er pt. på et 5 stjernet resort, med små umulige papir servietter. Top karakter til restauranten og maden. Lille hyggeligt "jungle" sted.

Problemer med skylle ud i toilettet og sengene/madrasser kunne godt bruge en opgradering. Meget støjende aircondition.

The staff were one of the friendliest people I’ve met in the Philippines! They were so kind and helped me a lot with several things. Also, the restaurant and whole resort is made beautifully!

You can still hear traffic noises quite loudly, even at night. Some guests are disrespectful and scream and sing in front of my window at night or listen to loud Rap music early in the morning. The staff might tell the guests in advance to not behave like that

Bad for seniors or handicapped. 100m to our unit across large size gravel, mud sloped walkway which should have been paved. Cheap interiors with thin dime store mattresses which slid off bed frames. Nothing EcoStay here except the green ASTRO Turf entry step and bench inside the unit.

The location, the pool, as well as the natural setting of the hotel.

Avoid booking the Balicasag Island tour through the hotel. We were informed that the activity would cost PHP 2,500, plus PHP 150 per person, which we paid directly at the hotel reception. However, once we arrived for the tour, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an additional PHP 450 per person for snorkeling. This extra charge was never mentioned beforehand and was only brought up during the activity, leaving us no choice but to pay if we wanted to take part. The tour itself felt rushed. The boatmen made it clear they wanted to return quickly, which created a pressured atmosphere and didn’t allow us enough time to really enjoy the experience. To make things worse, after we left the hotel, they contacted us asking whether we had actually paid the PHP 2,500, claiming they had no record of the transaction — even though we had paid this amount at the front desk. Overall, we recommend booking with a different company. The lack of communication from the hotel staff, combined with the unprofessional and questionable conduct of the tour operators, nearly ruined what should have been a beautiful experience.

I ended up in hospital and staff had cleaned my room. When the hospital kept my passport and bankcard as collateral for not paying the medical bill, the staff were on hand (with my sister's guidance) to help with easy communication between the Australian Embassy and the hospital by way of phone contact between the two as my two mobile phones weren't working. They also checked on me when I was sitting in the restaurant as I was not well and when I found it difficult to walk due to a medical condition I came down with. I can't thank the staff enough and if I won the lottery I would make sure they would be looked after for their lifetime for what they did for me. I would love to come back.

Nika at reception was incredibly warm and welcoming and very keen to help especially with calling tuktuks to go into town etc. The atmosphere of Ecostay was fantastic - was a true tropical lush haven tucked away. Location from Alona main area was not ideal however the location to nearby areas was very very good for our short stay in Panglao!

I appreciated the reception at the front desk, the consideration of my special requests, and the reservation of transport. I only stayed one night before my departure. The resort is close to the airport, close to the beaches, it is pleasant and clean. All the staff were very pleasant and attentive.

The aisle is not convenient for rolling luggage. It's better to bring bags to carry.

The AC is WAYYY too loud. The environment is generally very loud. The rooms are not well isolated you can hear everything and some geckos get into the rooms. The shower is very bad right next to the toilets. No shampoo bottle they give you tiny soap bricks it’s ridiculous. Bed is too hard.

Piscine petite mais à débordement et avec jacuzzi, massages, laverie, restaurant très agréable. Equipe aux petits soins. Bungalows individuels avec climatisation. Excellent rapport qualité prix !

The whole hotel looks nice and has a nice atmosphere. The location is good for Dumaluan (entrance fee), but for other beaches with free entrance you will need a scooter. The breakfast is not included, but there is a restaurant that is part of the hotel that serves okay breakfast with free coffee/tea.

Termite excrememt on the mattress and on the toilet paper.. Had to change room. The mattress is very thin and too old. It smells like in a very humid cave. The music of the restaurant starts at 6am. The employees have to sleep in an extremeley small room with bunkbeds. The entrance door lock wasn't fixed well and stopped working after one day so we couldn't get in.. Even after repairing it it was loose.The bathroom door had to be lifted in order to be able to close it. The sink is loose. The bed lamp works only if you move the cable correctly. The TV is difficult to turn on with two remotes and there is almost no channel that works. The floor in the bathroom is not inclined and the water stays. There is no mirror in the bathroom. The A/C in the room is too loud to keep on at night. They try to make additional money with everything. You have to pay 1 pesos to refill 1 glass of water. You need to have a lot of small coins in order to be able to use it. The dispenser works almost never.If you want to go somewhere else for a night and want to leave your bag in the hotel you have to pay 200pesos for 24hours and 50 pesos for every additional hour. For breakfast they tell ypu you get 10 discount sonce you sleep in the hotel, but they don't tell you that you have to add 5% taxes. The swimming pool is really small. The family huts don't have sunbeds, but also the others can not use them because the ground is inclined.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The house is cozy, the internet is good for work, although sometimes slow. i liked the location, down the road in 15 minutes walk there is a great beach. The restaurant is suitable for vegetarians, a large selection of dishes, and they cook very tasty! And the best part of my stay was the massage, it was incredible!

Tuk-Tuk to the Tagbilaran port cost for my 450 piso, I think it’s expensive

The price does not match the quality. The accommodation is noisy, the equipment is old and ugly. The owner is unpleasant.

I have recently stayed with my partner at Ecostay Resort Panglao and we immediately felt at home by the genuine hospitality. All staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel offers services to organise various private tours for a decent price all across Panglao and Bohol. The Chocolate Hills are a must-see! The room was spacious with a perfectly functioning AC. Special shoutout for Nica and Shilow for the consistent care and attention during our stay. We are excited to return to this property and would absolutely recommend this for visiting tourists in Panglao!

While our stay was generally pleasant, I believe there’s room for improvement. The toilet could have been designed more thoughtfully for better comfort, and the towels, unfortunately, didn’t absorb as well as we would have expected. Also, the shower holder was unmounted, which required us to hold the shower head during use.

What I like is, that, they have a swimming pool to enjoy.

The staff are not friendly, the bed is so uncomfortable and big mosquitoes lingering the rooms.

Staff are nice and accommodating. I like the eco concept but the property needs upgrade. You get what you paid for. The noise from other room can be heard. The room next to the one I occopied was occopied by a family with kids for 2 or 3 nights. I could hear the kids noise from playing and jumping. I reported this to the management. Outside the hotel area, there are affordable dining options, gasoline station and convenient stores. There are also private beach resorts nearby that are walkable or accessible through a short ride.

What breakfast the staff said we didn't get a free breakfast. And you charges my family 500 pesos. For a missing towel. At checkout. I want my 500 pesos back and refunded. Wifi was not that good. Your menu prices are too high
