Clean, quiet and convenient location for us
Pet bags to clean up
Hotel lindo, comida ótima, em frente ao Centro de Convenções. Silencioso para dormir à noite. Perfeito!
This was a great location for our comic con weekend. Staff was very friendly and professional. Everywhere smelled good and was clean. The room was very concrete and the bedding was a dream. Side note: our front desk agent the day were arrived, Brandon, was very helpful and was wearing his cosplay in support of the event across the street. It was a welcoming outfit that made us feel like we fit in. Nice touch letting employees wear their cosplay clothes!
I was told, when I made the reservation, that breakfast was included, buffet style. The morning we were there, I was told by the front desk that my package didn’t include breakfast so we had to forgo our morning meal and this made it very difficult for our big day at the convention center. It was really disappointing but our overall stay was great.
Excellent location. Super clean. City Train was right there… besides the hotel
It didn’t have a pool
Clean, perfect location, amazing amenities, parking garage
位置不错

Check in was quick and efficient
Friendly staff, convenient to Moda concert. We were able to walk. Also used the valet for parking.
The bed was a bit soft and had low spots.
Clean, location,, friendly staff
There really isn’t comfortable restaurant facility. No breakfast provided.
It was very nice. Liked the vaulted ceiling.
No microwave in the room. The refrigerator like object was not cold, just cool. Couldn’t keep anything cold. For the amount per night charged, a refrigerator and microwave should be included. Also, the Keurig machine was dirty and crusted, completely unusable.
Clean, stuff was friendly and a 4 minute walk to moda center
Pillows were super flat
Location, clean, contemporary, amenities.
Wish it was cheaper?
Great location and food.
All was great.
Great proximity to the Moda Center. We missed the traditional dinner hours, but were able to get a delicious burger at 10 pm from the bar. City views, both day and night, were fabulous.
The arrangement of the bathroom is odd.
We love to stay at this hotel is very convenient and we like that we are walking/uber distance to things to do around down town.
Very clean. Staff very polite.
Portland 🤢
Location and staff!
The bed was not my favorite. Just a personal opinion.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the Hyatt Regency Portland. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. I appreciated the overall quality of the accommodations and enjoyed my time at the hotel. There were a few minor areas for improvement, particularly with housekeeping, but overall I was satisfied with my stay and would consider staying here agaIn.
I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. The location is extremely convenient, especially for anyone attending an event at the Oregon Convention Center, and it is also a great base for exploring Portland. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the overall quiet and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality really made the experience special. From check-in to check-out, I felt well taken care of. Overall, I was very impressed with this Hyatt Regency and would happily stay here again on my next visit to Portland. Highly recommended!
Front desk people were very helpful. Room was very comfortable. We had a room that overlooked the south, facing the convention center and bridges. TV worked well. We called and requested extra coffee cups and they came quickly.
First off. The parking is in a separate building. You find the parking building, park, then exit the building to enter the hotel. No skybridge or basement tunnel connecting the two. No microwave in our room, that was weird. Also weird is the bathroom. cubicle for toilet on the right of the sink, cubicle for shower on the left of sink, with sink open to the hallway. If you need to do number two you have to close the sliding door that cuts off the entire hallway of the room. Hopefully this room design is for king beds only. I cant imagine traveling for work and saying, "Please grab your papers and sit at the desk, because I have to close this off for a while."
Brandon and Damien were fantastic to work with! The property is great and I loved staying there.
good location right near public transit
Each encounter I had at the Hyatt Convention Center was very pleasant. Check in was a breeze and parking was abundant and easy to access. The room was amazing - so clean and inviting. The housekeeping staff did such a great job, and my room was always so well kept. The access to the Oregon Convention Center and the MAX train are so convenient. The bartenders in the hotel lobby bar were just great - welcoming, inviting, friendly, and professional all at the same time. Check out was simple and hassle free and this trip reminded me why Hyatt is my first choice wherever I travel.
The Hyatt Regency in Portland not only provided a comfortable home base with all the amenities a traveller would look for, beautiful views, and a convenient location. The hotel staff went above and beyond to anticipate and support business needs. Would definitely recommend!
Modern. Clean. Friendly staff. Best stay for business in a very long time. Front desk was very attentive. The lobby seating and bar seating were well thought out. The room was well designed Thank you!
Great location, super convenient, and perfect for an easy stay in Portland. The Hyatt Regency sits right next to the Convention Center, literally steps away, which made getting to events effortless. One of the best parts is how easy it is to get around — you can take the MAX light rail straight into downtown, and it’s quick, clean, and stress‑free. Once you’re settled in, you’re surrounded by good food options within walking distance. Pine State Biscuits is close enough for a morning walk (and absolutely worth it), and Burgerville is right there for a fast, reliable bite. The area feels safe, easy to navigate, and perfect if you want to explore without needing a car. Overall, the Hyatt Regency Portland delivered a smooth, convenient stay with great access to transit, food, and the Convention Center. A solid choice for anyone visiting the area.
Breakfast is always great
The shower was small
Beautiful place and clean
Centralized location, friendly staff and comfort!
Excellent hotel with great location for the Oregon Convention Center. Very comfortable beds; great bathroom designed for privacy with a large door separating that area from the beds. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and kind.
Hotel is classy, comfortable, very convenient. Excellent guest service was provided by the front desk, by the Food service staff, and by those working in the Market for on-the-go food. Raven, at the front desk, was especially helpful in obtaining our discounted tickets to the Japanese garden. Ashlee, at the front desk, was also very helpful and courteous. Room was very comfortable and clean.
Everything from the staff, hospitality, the clean amazing room and especially the view of the city.
Great hotel. Nice perc having max train ticket included with stay. Great breakfast in BBQ restaurant. I recommend the breakfast tacos.
Immaculate cleanliness and extremely outstanding employees, conveniently located near train and convention center, safe and comfortable.
Location was great and close to convention center.
Na
The entire hotel was very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly. Transportation is very easy from the airport and to the downtown area. The restaurants were lacking, especially for a hotel where people are staying for a conference/convention. There was not a lot of info in the room regarding the area.
A beautiful hotel room, superb service, everything was great. Right by the rail so easy to get to and from the airport by taking the red line there. I stayed by myself and it felt super spacious. The bed was very comfortable, I had an amazing sleep.
Great Hyatt service, a little pricey but super convenient for OCC events and public transit options. Comfortable room. The Market was convenient with decent coffee.
Location
Very loud, bathroom had zero privacy there was a glass door but it was open to the whole room other than that.
Other than the parking situation the experience was great, staff were very friendly. Valet parking was costly. Self parking was costly as well and the self park garage was the block behind the hotel but there was nowhere to drop your luggage before parking. You had to park and bring your luggage. Both my spouse and I are disabled and the sidewalk is on an incline, it was very taxing for both of us.
I will absolutely stay here every time I travel to Portland. Entire staff was exceptional, accommodating and genuinely kind. I’ve never encountered staff this nice at any hotel and I travel quite a bit. The breakfast/pancakes are in the top 3 of hotel restaurants I’ve ever been to. This is my #1 hotel of choice now.
The room was quiet, spotless and comfortable. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel location on the Portland MAX Lightrail route makes it super convenient, especially from the airport.
It would be nice if the hotel had a pool, or hot tub. But, all of its other attributes more than make up for this missing amenity.
The hotel was a great place to stay. We turned our car over to the valet and walked to the Moda center for our event. The restaurant was a great option for us and was delish. Great service. We did dinner and the breakfast buffet. The lobby was hopping after the we got back but got drinks and a snack from the market. Comfy seats to visit with the family we were with and people watch, lol. The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfy. Nice gym, too. Will be back when we have downtown Portland events.
Very friendly staff in every department, the gym was better than expected, employees were very respectful and helpful when answering questions overall great service.
Great stay at Hyatt Regency - Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR! Friendly staff from front desk to market and housekeeping. Loved staying on the ninth floor to see views and a decent sunset! Right next to transit to get to and from airport or to neighborhoods for dinner/events. Easy and respectful pick ups and drop offs from rideshare locals too! Yummy tuna poke and truffle fries for dinner - good meal before red eye back to the East Coast! :)
Consistently superior! Great location, convenient parking for location, Cool open spaces, warm lounges and comfy rooms. It's got it all.
Great hotel with wonderful service! Caroline at the front desk was extremely nice and accommodating! It was a great way to start my first visit to Portland! Rooms were clean and up to date. Beds are so comfy! Cool little coffee shop/gift shop combo. Coffee was very good and the selection of gifty items was nice!
The employees were friendly and helpful and the location was convenient to not only the conference center, but also to public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable.
THE best hotel in downtown Oregon! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the rooms were spotless. Steps away from the convention center, it was the most convenient place to stay.
Excellent proximity to the MODA center and public transit that can take one easily to the airport or Providence Park. The staff is always friendly and the hotel is always clean.
Friendly staff. Rooms are very clean, does not smell like dog at all. For a hotel being pet friendly, the rooms were spotless. Had a great experience
Over all excellent, very clean, friendly staff..parking is a little inconvenient and should be free for guests in my opinion.
Parking is a little inconvenient, very hard to get stuff from car , far from the hotel and as I said it should be free for overnight guests.
Beautiful view, super comfortable beds
Wasn’t too wild about the buffet breakfast, but I did like the smoked trout. The potatoes had a funky taste.
Clean hotel. Friendly, helpful staff and convenient location to convention center. Would highly recommend this location. Heads up: Bar closes at 11 during the week and 12 on weekends regardless if they are busy or not. Not a deterrent, just a heads up.
Great stay. Excellent location next to convention center and proximity to train line for transit throughout the city was awesome.
Not a great experience. You would think if you are right next to the convention center you would be prepared to handle a large event but we were treated rudely and they were clearly understaffed. Our room was not cleaned on the very first day and we had to call and ask why not and were told that we are understaffed, not as an apology but as information and seemed annoyed and asked what we need.
Our family just wrapped up an absolute standout long weekend at the Hyatt Regency Oregon Convention Center, and we couldn't be happier with our stay. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. * The Staff: The team here is exceptional. Every single interaction we had—from check-in to concierge recommendations—was met with genuine warmth and incredible service. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. * The Rooms: Crisp, modern, and perfectly maintained. The rooms were spacious, incredibly comfortable, and offered a great layout for the family to relax after a busy day exploring. * The Breakfast: Absolutely excellent! The breakfast options were high-quality, delicious, and became something the whole family looked forward to each morning. The location was incredibly convenient, but it’s the stellar hospitality and comfort that will make this our go-to spot whenever we're back in town. Highly recommended!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the front desk, specially Brandon, took care of us. We were vendors at the convention center. He helped with our shipped equipment getting it to the convention center, parking and even when we boxed everything up at the end of our time there he printed out shipping labels and placed them on our boxes and prepared for UPS pick up. It saved us time and allowed us to spend one more dinner out exploring the beautiful city of Portland! Plus the bed was the best hotel bed I have ever slept in. We slept great! Thank you Brandon and the Hyatt for a great stay! See you next time!
Seems like this is a new hotel. The ambience, furniture bedding cleanliness we’re all outstanding great location super convenient to take the metro into downtown and back.
You want to stay here. A lot of the hotels in the area are in very bad condition. The homeless have overwhelmed a lot of Portland, and it smells. But the Hyatt was literally a breath of fresh air. It was great having a large lobby to socialize with friends without having to go out! A lot of my friends were unhappy with their hotel.
I waited six hours for the cleaning service, but they didn’t turn up. I booked the room on the understanding that it would have a microwave and a fridge, but these were not provided in the room.
Some good and then some bad. Good: Clean and modern with a good location. Bad: Rooms are compact to the point it hurts. The bedroom bathroom situation is non sensical. The restaurant has good food but is run so poorly it’s infuriating. We will not stay again. 2nd poor experience with a Hyatt in less than a month. Good grief.
Room size of a king room with sleeper sofa that is supposed to accomodate 3 adults is tiny. Having to pay $4 for small bottle of water is outrageous. Housekeeping is terrible - had to ask multiple times for it. Sofa bed had one pillow, no sheets or duvet, we checked in at around 11 and was ready for bed, asked the front desk for sheets and duvet, it never arrived that night. Breakfast is bad, one of the front desk memeber was not helpful. The good parts were the valet - very good service, and couple of the front desk people was quite helpful. Lobby was nice. Will not stay here again.
"The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were pleasant on the surface — but my stay had several real service issues that led to the low rating. First, the surrounding area: there's a consistent presence of homeless individuals on the corner near the entrance — some sleeping on the ground in the middle of the day — along with loitering and marijuana smoking. The smell lingers near the doors, which made coming and going uncomfortable. Second, communication and service at checkout were poor. I called ahead to ask if staff could come pick up my luggage from the room, and was told that service wasn't available — I'd need to bring everything down myself. I brought two bags down and told the front desk I was checking out, but still had one more bag upstairs. Despite this, my key was deactivated before my checkout time — likely triggered when the first two bags were checked in — even though I had explicitly told them I still needed to retrieve another item from the room. I was told to get it quickly, and I went up immediately, without delay, but found my key no longer worked, even though I still had an hour left before checkout. The cleaning staff on that floor didn't speak English and could only direct me back to the front desk. When I returned to the front desk, I waited in the Hyatt Members line while staff continued helping the non-members line ahead of me — I wasn't helped until every non-member in the other line had been served. Eventually I was issued a new key and had to go retrieve my bag myself. To make things worse, I later learned a luggage cart/mover could have been arranged to help move my bags — but this was never mentioned when I originally called to ask about luggage pickup. Overall, the physical hotel was fine, but the combination of the surrounding environment and this level of miscommunication and inefficiency at checkout made for a frustrating stay."
This hotel is top notch. Friendly staff and clean/comfortable rooms. I would come back without hesitation. I traveled with a large group of students and we had a wonderful time.
Horrible staff, rude, would not come back. I checked in after 10 am, was told that check out will be 11 am, I was hope to check out slightly late. The staff didn’t even want to listen from me, was very rude.
Location and staff
Parking
Valet parking.
No room service! Had to get food from their "Market". I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the bacon was incinerated. Inedible. Also ordered a fish and chips from their Bar and that was horrible. The fish was dry inside the burnt outside crust. Also inedible.Completely unacceptable.
We had an excellent 2 day stay. Location is perfect and service was impeccable. Rooms arw very comfortable and bar/restaurant were great and delicious. Would definitely come back here again.
Chose it because it was located near our event, but ended up really loving the room, our view, the restaurant and the staff.
Close proximity to the convention center and very clean.
Jame who is helping us is so cool he help us know more about the place and very welcoming he will make you feel worry free very nice.
This is a great property if you are visiting the Portland area for business or pleasure. The hotel is conveniently located with public transport available as well as valet. If you are a World of Hyatt Globalist, the value you get at this property is awesome, with a nice breakfast and rooms with great views.
Great location and super convenient getting to other parts of downtown Portland since there was public transportation right out front. All the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. On our 2nd night, the room next store was very rowdy, called the front desk and within 10 minutes I heard the security guard talking to our neighbors then all was quiet. I appreciated the quick response. We liked the added perks that come with the hotel, especially the transit passes. The Marketplace was perfect to grab a quick bite, souvenir, toiletry etc and the staff here was excellent. The property was very clean, modern decor, and spacious. Self parking was $35/day which we didn't mind paying since there was charging for our electric car. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel is located in a prime location in southeast Portland. It is right next to a Max stop, and you have a convenient way to get around the city without the use of a car. Hotel check-in was fine, the front desk only had one person the entirety of my stay. The people are all dressed in the Portland aesthetic, casual and flannels. The hotel is one of the newer ones in the area, and the room design is reminiscent of Tokyo. The bathroom is small and definitely cannot hold more than one person at a time. If you are traveling with a group and you want privacy, there is a sliding door that separates the door, bathroom, and refrigerator and the hanging space for clothes (there is not a closet) so if you need to leave when someone is changing there may be some negotiation that occurs. The hotel room is nicely appointed and has faux wood floor. The lighting is a challenge throughout the room for putting on makeup. There are plenty of outlets for plugging in to charge things. I did visit the gym, it is big and nice but is primarily equipped with free weights, waling machines, elipicals, bikes and one stair machine and a multi-use pulley system weight machine. There are few weight balls and mats for stretching. On my first night, I turned on the water and it came out light brown for a while, I found it odd (I had never experienced that in a hotel before) when I stepped in I completely wiped out because it was beyond slick in the tub to the point I could find absolutely no footing and caught my self on my left side on the side of the tub. My back ended up bruised and index fingernail split in the middle but I managed to get myself up. I did let the Hyatt customer service know online and reported it to the front desk in the morning. No one followed up or seemed at all concerned. This completely soured my view of the hotel. My suspicion is that the tub/shower had not been cleaned, hence the brown water, and that there was probably conditioner residue remaining at the bottom of the tub. The other drawback to this hotel is that it does not have its own parking structure. You have to park behind the hotel in a parking garage that is shared with the convention center. You then have to walk across the street, and on our check-in, it was raining (which is usual for the Pacific Northwest 9 months of the year) so you may have to maneuver your luggage across the street and up a slight hill to get inside the hotel. The hotel does offer valet parking for $45 a day. The self-parking fee is $35 per day, and there is also a $25 daily fee being charged as a "destination fee" at the hotel. It is meant to cover "premium wifi" your two bottles of water in the room when you arrive, and gives you a $15 bar credit, but you can only use it if you charge to your room. The hotel is great for location and ease of getting around the city via max and for staying if you have events at the convention center or Moda Center. The customer service left much to be desired.
I found the hotel clean and accommodating, except for the parking situation. The parking lot attendant refused to let me use the hotels parking garage, even with my room reservation and card in my possession. I had to discuss the problem with front desk staff, who immediately corrected it. However upon returning to the parking garage, I was met with a stubborn attendant again that argued until reluctantly letting me use the garage. The location was great, close to down town, with easy access via a tram. Plenty of food choices nearby and for the most part very friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel was gorgeous and there wasn't a single other thing that bothered me the entire stay. Theres plenty to do and see in the area. Overall a pleasant experience.
This hotel is so convenient - steps from the light rail (Max) and across the street from the convention center. This made everything accessible. Rooms were great and the staff was extra helpful. This made my conference a bit less stressful, and I always welcome that.
The Hyatt at the Oregon Convention center is an excellent venue with nice modern rooms, clean restrooms, well kept ballroom/meeting spaces, and very kind and welcoming staff. I would come here again in a heartbeat knowing what nice location and friendly people are waiting here.
I had a great experience at the hotel. Staff were super nice and welcoming. The services were top notch. I really liked the small market in the lobby.
heart of Portland, easy walk to any food places nearby and local stores, atmosphere was beautiful. rooms were clean, spacious, and featured a TV with cable and cast streaming. Room walls are a little thin and you can hear people down the hall but it was never a big issue. Services were amazing.
Very close to the Moda center
$35 to park your car at a hotel that you paid $200 to stay in for one night seems a little excessive.
This hotel is adjacent to the Oregon Convention Center, so it’s very convenient. The hotel had serious staffing issues while we were staying there. They canceled maid service one day because too many maids called out sick. They had no bell staff, so we were on our own with luggage. Other nickel and dime issues: if you arrive early and want to check in, they charge you $10/hour for early check-in. That is unheard of. The lobby bar closes unusually early, especially with 100s of conventioneers looking for entertainment. Otherwise, it’s not a bad hotel. There are just too many little things wrong for me to recommend it.
The bed was extremely comfortable. The distance to the Moda center was fantastic. Staff was really awesome.
The bathroom was a bit odd for two people who were sharing the room. It was hard to change without a door to close and changing where the toilet was was a little cramped. Had issues when eating because there was a miscommunication when I asked for vegan and it came with dairy and egg.
The beds were comfortable
Staff was not accommodating
Overall satisfied. Staff friendly, room clean and comfortable, although right by the light rail's side, it's very quiet. And it's convenient to take public transit to go anywhere. The one thing that I believe can be better: I arrived around 10:30am, was told that the room is ready, but to check in before 3pm, I need to pay an extra amount of money. I mean, I know your check in time is 3pm, but had you check me in when I just arrived, you'd have greatly improved my experience without costing you anything, and you will have one super satisfied customer who'd be willing to recommend you to anyone going to Portland!
Sweet location for Moda. We walked and zero issues. Some decent places within walking for food and desserts. Would probably always stay here for Moda.
I liked the cleanliness of the facility and location
Parking was atrocious, the garage has no levels marked. Payment was also an additional amount that was not disclosed at all, kind of dissappointing
Very nice hotel and experience. Convenient location, good restaurant, spacious rooms, and quiet atmosphere. As seniors, we appreciated this.
Front desk was helpful and check in was friendly and efficient. Food at Spoke and Fork was outstanding!
The beds aren’t really very comfortable.
Clean facility, pleasant staff and quiet atmosphere. Bed was comfy! Nice bar and food was really good. Despite being in downtown, I thought it was quiet, I was on the 14th floor with a great view.
Proximity to concert
This hotel in Portland is our favorite hotel! The rooms are nicely remodeled. We stayed as a family with a toddler and a baby and the room had great nightlights and everything we needed for our comfort! But the real highlight was the staff! Brandon was especially excellent and accommodating to our needs. He made sure we were taken of care of. He set the tone for our trip! Celene was also very kind and warm. We met the head of security outside by the Max station, and we felt very safe with him. He gave us wonderful recommendations. Also, the proximity to the Max station made our trip to and from the airport very convenient. We also visited the zoo and the Max being right outside was a huge perk. Thanks to everyone at the Hyatt Regency in Portland for a wonderful stay where we made lifelong memories.
Unexpected charges and fees, hard to find parking garage, and no microwaves in rooms to heat up food.
The room was nice and big. I loved the bathroom and all the storage.
No microwave in the room. For the price I think that should be in every room
Great location for Moda center and convention. Really good food and drinks. Super friendly and helpful staff. Room was spotless and it was very comfortable. This is a small thing but as a senior citizen, I was super impressed: lights under bed and along floor turn on automatically when you get up to use the bathroom.
I was booked into this hotel by my company for a convention there. I have always loved Hyatt and was happy to be in attendance . From the moment we walked in the experience was everything yoiu expect froma Hyatt and then some. The front desk was friendly, engaging and went above and beyond in making us feel valued. We ate at the bar a few ties and enjoyed the food, drinks and ambiance. I highly reccomend the onsiete coffee shop and you can pick up a few cute Portland style souvenirs while you wait (briefly) for your coffee. A bonus is the Max light rail has a stop right outside the door of the hotel making both the airport and the city accessible for just a few doallrs. Our room was relaxing and comfy and every space in this facility is sparkling clean. You cant go wrong staying here. When I find myself in Portland again this will be my place.
Very nice hotel and great amenities and business networking scene. I enjoyed the views of Portland from my room view also.
My room was wonderful. The czechian clerk was fabulous and polite and professional. The valet was wonderful. And the view was fabulous
