Sonesta Select San Francisco Airport Oyster Point Waterfront

The beds

The staff just have you standing there while they are on their phones

I like the trail walk around the facility and the treadmills.

Not enough food facilities and more free weights in the workout area. But that’s just wishful thinking other than that everything was perfect.

The staff is incredibly helpful and they seem happy. I'm very familiar with this hotel even when it was a Marriott and it certainly has been upgraded.

There weren't many options for breakfast but there was good coffee. The gym used to be so much better.

There’s no swimming pool or hot tub. They charge you $25 per night of parking. No free breakfast as well.

Clean, comfortable and accessible to the airport.

Close to freeway

Charged me $25 per night for parking, which was not disclosed to me when I checked in or checked out. In fact, the front desk receptionist stated that I had no charges when I checked out…now, day after checkout, I find out that hotel wants to charge me $100 for 4 nights parking plus $8 in taxes. Spoke with Hotel Manager Chris who refused to reverse charges. This is fraudulent business practices. I’ve opened a complaint with Sonesta Corporate and plan to contact VISA to protest these charges…Buyer Beware!

Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean/comfortable!

Friendly staff spacious clean room

Strong smell of carpet cleaner

The bartender, Edgar, was very accommodating and friendly. The location is amazing for strolls and early runs

Maybe a more consistent cleaning of the rooms

Great location

Good

Good

- Bien placé près de l’aéroport - Confortable

- Parking extérieur payant - Quartier autour un peu triste.

Good location, trail nearby, has everything you need, personnel is nice.

The toilet clogged. I asked to fix, they said they will come in 2 hours. Nobody came for the whole day. When I returned in the evening I needed to ask one more time, the guy came and I needed to explain again what happened.

Amplitud y limpieza

No había nada que no me gustó

The location

Nothing everything was good

This is our 3rd time to stay here. We brought 4 of our friends here this time. It was quiet and the view is amazing!

This time we stayed there was loud thuds on the floor on top of our room. But it was short.

I like the fact that I was treated as a vip guest. I have been staying at Sonesta hotels for more than 30 years from Aruba to here and I felt like I never left the vip corporate treatment

I liked everything

The property was well kept and very quiet even with my room facing freeway and Amtrak passing by! Noise level was no issue! I loved the balcony in the room

There’s no pool or jacuzzi at this property! It would have made my stay even better

Breakfast not included

Breakfast should be included

Pet Friendly and extremely exceptional staff.

Microwave in room was dirty on the inside.

It was clean and everyone was very nice

Location- central to shopping, restaurants, airport and train stations

Sofa, carpets in suite were dirty with large stains as well as in main lobby

The desk clerk Gio was very kind and welcoming.

The bathroom floor was sticky and the tub was slippery. The tub should have a mat so not to slip.

Great room and amenities

Loved it all

I wish is more restaurant near the hotel

The only thing I don’t like is changing for parking in my opinion it’s not fair pay for parking

Room was quite comfy. Shower was a bit weak.

internet

Pěkný hotel v dobré a bezpečné lokalitě kousek od letiště, do centra asi půl hodiny autem. Vše čisté a v pořádku.

Professional & friendly staff! Excellent location.

Clean & quiet environment.

Proximity to airport and shuttle service. The hotel staff were very friendly and supportive

Nothing as all good

Appreciate this hotel being dog friendly. They provided a dog mat and bowl upon check in. We stayed here with our toddler too and would stay again if we had our dog with us, but probably wouldn't if we didn't. Staff was great and friendly.

Carpet in the floor and the shower was slightly run down.

Lots of common space; great setting next to water; ample parking and the best staff ever!

Secluded, clean, nice staff

The bed was comfortable, clean, and staff was super nice and attentive. I also love the convenience of the airport shuttle and the convenience to pay for the parking space while on vacation.

Unfortunately, what really disappointed me was the strong smell of marijuana in my room. It seemed to be coming through the AC vent from the room next door.. The smell was very strong and made it difficult to enjoy my room. I understand that people have their personal choices, but I wish guests would be more respectful of others and smoke only in designated areas. It was especially frustrating to have the smell enter my room when I have my family including children. I hope the hotel can find a way to better prevent this from happening to other guests.

Room was comfortable and clean, price overall was good.

Paying for parking this far out from the city is crazy.

locations,

Parking fees and Shower Head Very low

Even though we paid the price of our accommodation in advance to Booking, the Hotel deducted the price of the rooms from our bill once again. They said we would get it back at some point. Moreover, they don't want to refund the amount that was deducted from our bill the second time. Even though we explained it to the staff and the manager, they didn't want to understand. What they did is simply outrageous! We don't recommend this hotel to anyone! Anyone who doesn't want to pay twice for accommodation should avoid it!

Love the design of the hotel and it was a cozy bed. Beautiful view.

No water refill station on our floor. No free breakfast and parking expensive.

We like the property overall, especially the patio and trail along the bay.

The mattress in our room was very lumpy. The shower had a bit of mold. It is a roll in shower with the shower curtain raised high so a lot of water runs onto the floor and is a slippery hazard. In addition, we were disappointed with the restaurant.

No breakfast available at the time. Upgraded room view was disappointing.

Clean and comfortable

Staff were professional but not friendly

It was a little outdated but not smelly like other outdated hotels. It was nice and clean, comfy beds. I liked the creepy long halls hehe

Staff was great. Room was comfortable. Airport shuttles are convenient and leave often. Grounds are pleasant and well maintained. I spent a decent amount of time working in the lobby area and enjoyed that, there are seats and plugs and coffee there.

Water in the room had a saltwater funk, so I had to go downstairs to get filtered water. I ended up keeping the door closed to the bathroom to keep the smell down. Wi-Fi was too slow for video meetings. I had to rely on my cell phone 5G for any meetings. One morning the water was not hot. The website said there is no gym, but I found one after I had checked out. I would have liked more communication about amenities and hours for the restaurant, etc.

I loved everything. Staff terrific. Location and water view wonderful. Did lots of walking daily with baby in stroller. Free shuttle to airport too!

We had two rooms but only one had balcony. We had expected two. Also I would recommend a self serve free coffee and hot water station for mornings in lobby. Waiting in line for a $6 coffee at very busy breakfast counter didn’t work. I know you have coffee in rooms but please consider suggestion.

Location is good. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean.

Location to the airport

Mean, rude lady at the desk in the evening. Really made getting a shuttle from the airport to hotel much longer than necessary. Why make something so simple so difficult just because you can. Luckily the drive was kind!

Ubicación, precio, limpieza y comodidad.

Que cobren el estacionamiento

TV WASN’T WORKING & THE HOT WATER ONLY WORKED FOR 10 MINS.

Lots of things.

They sutprise you w/a $16.00 parking charge AFTER you have made the reservation. UNDERHANDED!!

Limpio

Love the location

shuttle bus to and from airport. room had a very cozy and optimal layout. perfect water temperature. nice view

no screens on windows. no included breakfast and the staff at the lobby starbucks always forget about orders. there were some stains on carpet but seemed to be from the fire suppressor system. fire alarm went off at 3am and woke me and my pregnant wife up.

The cleanliness and the view the staff the pet policy cuz my fur baby gets enjoy the stay with me. Even with Pets allowed the hotel always has a fresh smell to it the view of parts of the bay is beautiful and a bonus! Housekeeping are friendly and does an awesome job keeping Sonesta clean and smell good with comfortable beds and clean linen for your stay .

Everything is was good

Lindo hotel y habitación. Buena atención. Tiene estacionamiento.

Ubicacion

Clean, new, no smoke smell, pleasant staff who worked to accommodate our questions and requests. Special shoutout to Curly, the van driver, and to the front desk staff.

The bed

No microwave in the room and parking

Clean and great view with walking paths

The front desk is really not people friendly

They charge for car parking. It has too much space and not in central location, but force customers to get extra money

Nah am Wasser , super schön gestaltet

Kühlschrank im Zimmer piept

I liked the ocean views and the amount of space in the room

I didn’t like the bathroom, the tub wasn’t cleaned properly, one of our beds had someone’s hair still on the pillows upon our arrival. The only other complaint was that the cleaning staff didn’t come by my room once to tidy up. We were told we had to request a tidy up for 3 day stays.

It was fine for a night, only complaint is that it absolutely smells like smoke even though it’s a non smoking place. Obviously its not the staff smoking but it is on them to address/fix it .

Smell of smoke

A little hard to find and parking lot was full but facility was 5 star .

It was nice and clean

It’s so clean

Great option for business travel in SSF. Rooms were clean and hotel in quiet and safe area. Loved being on the trails near the water as well.

Clean, close to airport and need corporate offices so felt safe.

Staff was friendly

Couldn’t sleep both nights room above us was noisy and stomping all night both night till 3am when I finally called to complain. Switched rooms 3 times because they were dirty and not properly cleaned.

The sofa and bed

Parking

The shuttle service from the airport was very handy.

Our room floor was wet and smelled like dog pee. The facility looked nothing like the pictures online.

The couch

No patio

Location was close to the airport.

Flight got in late. called at 11:40 for shuttle. Was told shuttle ran until midnight. called hotel and was told last shuttle was 11:30. Was told we would have to take a taxi or Uber in rude manner. We had to Uber and it was $45. We got to the hotel and we had booked a water view balcony and was given regular. When we went back down to the desk we were told balcony rooms were not guaranteed and that we could see a little water from our room. Hotel is a little rough with graffiti in elevator and showing age.

Nice large rooms. Convenient in terms of proximity to the airport.

We arrived on July 2, 2026 at 10:10 pm. The shuttle driver was a terrible, even dangerous driver (ran a stop sign) and incredibly rude. He made no effort to help with our bags, and then made rude comments after they weren’t in the “correct” rack. The morning shuttle driver was lovely, but the guy in the evening was enough that I won’t stay there again - I’d been traveling for 14 hours and didn’t need his ineptitude and poor attitude

Location, safety, friendly staff, couldn’t hear neighbors, affordable parking

Everything was great!

Nothing

Customer service sucked

Great location right by the waterside. Unfortunately, no restaurant, just a cafeteria.

Location

There was hair in one of the bathtub and water didn’t drain well

Very dog friendly. Nice grounds around the hotel for dogs

It would be nice to have a microwave

Great staff, and very clean

View of water was beautiful and peaceful. Room was spacious. When needed to extend our stay, front desk was helpful and was hassle free. Laundry mat on site which was great.

House keeping didn’t come daily. We stayed a total of 5 days and they only came once. Breakfast a little over priced.

It was very modern, and the staff was nice

Our bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, the shower looked stained with what looked like blood, and the floor wasn’t swept very well

Konum

Personel mutsuz ve yardımcı değil temizlik zayıf

Tesis şehrin dışında arabayla geldinizseniz muhteşem bir konumda

Tesis temizdi

The room was quiet, comfortable, and big. Had a bathtub which is getting more rare. Loved the couch as well.

When I walked into the downstairs hallway there was a lot of noise from some kind of machine, but my room was quiet. Very few food options nearby. My room had a weird smell when I walked in. Not too strong and I got used to it, but most hotel rooms just smell fresh. The window didn't open enough to air it out. But, the price was great and I'd stay here again.

Shuttle Service was good and rooms were clean. Breakfast was satisfactory

Rooms were clean but surronding is not so good
