Good location

All the stairs and doors trying to get to our room

The bed was comfortable. The couch was comfortable

The bathroom was atrocious. Paint peeling off ceiling..window frame mouldy..antislip bath mat was discoloured yellow. Bath was not enticing. Couch cushions are very dirty. The drying room which you have to use as they do not like skis boots etc in rooms was left open and unlocked, very surprised our skis were still there ! The place smells of room freshener which was overpowering but luckily you eventually get used to it. The tv is tiny in both bedroom and lounge and seating is too far away.

Perfect location- made everything walkable (even our hikes right from the hotel!) which was extra important because driving was tricky with one ways and road construction and parking in the city was expensive!

Hurleys was clean and comfortable - wasn’t too far to walk into the main town.

Was a little bit rundown but nothing significant. In the rain it was a bit further to walk to, compared to being right in the city centre (but still not far).

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The motel is a close enough to the centre to walk, and the room was very nice and surprisingly warm.

The key downside was that, being at a corner between two busy streets, traffic could be loud, although most of the time it was fine. One thing that could be improved about the room we stayed in was the fan in the bathroom, which was very weak and took forever to deal with the humidity from showering.

The apartment was spacious but older style but very clean and comfortable beds. Handy having the additional downstairs toilet. Large bath with spa jets. Nice views from top floor.

Very old building so rooms are quite dated and floors are very squeaky. I thought traffic noise would be a problem but it wasn’t.

Getting in and out of the shower is quite a stretch. The room smelt a bit off, think it was coming from the vent in the bathroom.

Large apartment which is well equipped. It’s good to be able to cook a meal after a day of skiing when you don’t feel like going out again . Very comfortable bed and units serviced daily.

You have to step into a bath for the shower and also walk up and down a steep hill for access so not ideal if you’re elderly or have joint issues.

Staff was lovely and showed me where to go and offered to help with luggage. Warm room with balcony and had a spa bath in bathroom. Very quiet and had a great night sleep.

The place is lovely and clean and has everything that we needed. It was warm and cosy. Super close to town centre. Friendly stuff.

Lovely spacious rooms with everything you need and handy kitchenette which is great with kids. Comfy beds and lovely staff. Easy walk down to the lake.

It does feel a little dated and on the lower level the sound from the road can be a little loud at times but again not a dealbreaker!

It was very central and I loved the sauna. The beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed for a short stay.

There was not much to dislike. Maybe a lift on the premises for people with large bags.

I have raised this directly with Hurleys before writing this review and I gave them the opportunity to remedy my serious concerns, they have not done this so I am now writing this. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, it's dated decor was marginally acceptable but the bed, the bed is by far the most uncomfortable bed I have ever spent my hard earned money to sleep on. It was so saggy that I had to visit the chiropractor. The pillows were equally uncomfortable. The bed absolutely needs replacement and I asked Hurley's to let me know if they were going to replace the bed before anyone else stays in that room, they said they would take it up with the owners and let me know. They have not done this so I feel it is my duty to warn others from booking this room - 211 (Honeymoon Suite). There is also considerable road noise and a lot of light that seeps into the room at night from the sign they have out front of the room, I'm not sure why the sign is illuminated at the back of the sign as the only people who can see that side of the sign are the people staying in the motel, I would suggest Hurley's black the back of that sign out so your guests have less light seeping into the room so very unnecessarily. I would ask directly if they have put a new bed into this room before booking this room, if they haven't, book elsewhere!

This was a great option for families, there were 5 of us and it had great space and was really comfortable. It was walking distance to town and had everything we needed. We would come back again.

The only things that weren't great (But also not that problematic) was the shower pressure wasn't great and it just dribbled out and with it being a bit older we had to carry our bags up a few flights to our apartment. But nothing that would stop us staying again.

Our room was large with kitchenette and windows all around. We could see the Remarkables from our room. We could walk from the hotel into the CBD . A spa bath was enjoyed.

The walk back from the CBD was all up hill but doable for two 75 plus reasonably fit old people.

Clean place, perfect for my family, near to town and skyline..

I feel like the location of the hotel/apartments wasn’t too bad but there was always a loud digger sound in the morning which would wake everyone up. The atmosphere was amazing, with great oxygen and no trace of anything from the previous guest. The rooms were nice as well with clean towels everyday. The value of the stay was actually quite cheap, well, cheaper than other places.

The property is located in a convenient location, about 10 mins walk to the town centre. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well furnished, and suited our needs very well. We enjoyed our stay, no complaints.

Comfy bed

No hot water at all for a full day!! Nothing offered for this! There was a point where we had no water at all. The place was pretty filthy too the bathtub and toilet was not clean. I get accidents happen and the water was being sorted by a plumber but not once did management let us know for how long or offer any compensation! Not nice after being in the snow to not have hot water working.

Beautiful lake views, a great location, and a cozy, spotless two-bedroom apartment with 1.5 bathrooms. It was perfect for our family, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We would happily stay here again.

Our fridge was freezing our food and milk. Advised staff and they altered the dail on the fridge but it made no difference.

Good size room with everything we needed.

No extractor fan in bathroom and sauna was closed for repair.

Lovely large bed with clean and tidy room. Thought it was good value for money even though it was shoulder season.

There was nothing we could say negative about the stay although an electric blanket would have been nice.

What a location! An easy stroll into town, the gateway to the Queenstown Gardens, and super quiet. Plus, two traditional saunas meant you could warm back up in privacy daily! The staff were so lovely and communicated well too.

Enjoyed the spa bath. Bed was comfortable

The fridge was not plugged in and we could not access the power point to plug it in. Outdoor sitting area very disappointing
