Very nice and clean

No reports

Staff very helpful and go above and beyond - especially the lady who checked us in and Robert, Francisco and Christina serving breakfast. The chef also made special eggs for us which was appreciated. Room was comfy and a good size. Location great for exploring Leicester. Parking cost reasonable.

Room lighting was the only area needing improvement.

Really clean and comfortable. I only stayed for one night so can’t comment on the facilities but the staff were friendly, the parking was easy and had a reduced rate. Location was great for what I needed. Can’t really go wrong with one of the IHG hotels!

Comoda e pulita con una colazione super

L’ingresso a piedi non è comodissimo

Close proximity to shops and restaurants Big size room Good breakfast

I think the rooms/toilet are a bit tired. Landline yes or yes needs an update. Some biscuits would be perfect with tea.Thank you!

This property has so many pluses, location, safety, cleanliness, lovely friendly, respectful, kind, competent, professional staff, nice healthy variety of hot and cold breakfast option.( including with booking) Very good value for money. The hotel staff considered and acted appropriately including with compassion and safety to our children’s medical condition when informed.

We were allocated the second to last floor. The view was lovely but a bit scary. However, safety measures were noticeably taken.

The room with two double beds suited our family's stay. The beds are comfy.

For a room with two double beds accommodating three people, the basic amenities were surprisingly limited. There was only one teaspoon and just two tea sachets provided. No fridge. These are small details, but they fall short of the minimum you would reasonably expect for the number of guests staying in the room.

Nice clean and spacious

The pillow was like concrete

Great location, easy parking next door, staff from the moment I walked in the building were welcoming and helpful

I don’t like adjoining rooms which I had.

Lovely staff, clean and central

Probably location beside roundabout

Good buffet breakfast, spacious bedroom, easy parking, good location

All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpfull

The rooms were airy and large. Breakfast was very good value for money (continental)

The beds were too high and the mattress was way too hard for me

Staff was very friendly. I didn’t get the name of the man seating people at breakfast but he was wonderful and very very kind. Room was very spacious.

Hotel is a bit dated but room was clean and decent. The shower pressure was very poor, the bathtub filled up While showering and I’m glad I ran the water before getting in because it was all yellow for a few minutes before running clear.

Midden in het centrum

The room was very spacious 2 double beds as a Twin room. Continental breakfast was not mentioned on the web site, but a member of staff told us about it when we mentioned we were going out for breakfast. As we have a disability permit parking was very good.

The TVs in the bar could had had subtitles on so we would know what was being said, we cannot lip read

Su ubicación, amabilidad del personal, limpieza y atención

Nada

Breakfast was superb, lots of choice. Great quality.

Friendliness and politeness of all the hotel staffs

The bathroom sink was faulty. The water wasn't flowing easily.

Very comfortable, clean and safe……thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Breakfast was great there a good selection. Staff was friendly and helpful .

Nothing.

Great room, really good breakfast and all staff were friendly, particularly reception and breakfast staff.

Nothing.

Great hotel, friendly staff, clean, comfy beds and a great breakfast

Clean. Easy walk in to town Staff all helpful and friendly

The parking was expensive

Breakfast service was really excellent, staff were friendly and helpful especially the greet and shepherding by Robert

The seal on the shower glass didn't work that well thereby allowing seepage onto the bath mat.

Great location in the heart of Leicester. Excellent modern rooms. Good breakfast. Parking for 24 hours at a reduced rate of £6.

Nice big room

Loud thumping music from club venue next door kept me awake till gone midnight. Would never stay there again

Friendly staff. Great location. Good value for money.

The car park that is opposite has very smelly stairwells ! We know it’s not the hotels fault but it impacts the overall impression of the hotel.

The staff was so friendly

The location is not great but if you need to be in the city it’s fantastic

God seng, god morgenmad, super venlig receptionist.

Der er absolut ingen sjæl. Der er det der skal være og intet mere. Fik “Fish & Chips” til aftensmad, det var som fast food.

Excellent and clean room, but very hard pillows... Breakfast really nice and well presented. Very polite staff on reception Excellent central location with easy accessibility to local restaurants etc

Just the pillows on the bed - they were really hard........

Easily accessible great location with all facilities and things to do within walking distance

Great staff, brilliant location

Food overcooked.

Rooms clean , beds comfortable, restaurant nice, breakfast lovely, staff nice and helpful.

Due to the location of the hotel the traffic was really noisy constant, there were ear plugs available but this didn't help much. The hotel is central location though so understand cant be helped much.

2 double beds in the room rather than a sofa bed .

Cost

Staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, even catered well for gluten free as my husband is a celiac. Easy to get to, we parked in the highcross carpark which was £6 with the hotel validation.

All good only toilet flush was issue

Toilet flush

I’d booked into another hotel, which when I got there was so dire I refused to stay. So did a last minute booking for this one. The receptionist could not give me a reduced price as an IHG member as I had already made my reservation via Booking.com. But she did upgrade me to a huge and lovely room

Location!

bossy manager

Helpful staff, clean and comfortable room.

Parking was expensive even with some discount. The lighting in the room could have been a tad brighter.

Beds were good

No spa nor pool

Good value for money hotel with excellent breakfast

Parking is not provided as per advertised on Bookings and is required to be paid for in a non-secure location opposite hotel.

Vi hade en superbra vistelse! Det absolut bästa var personalen som var helt fantastiska och otroligt hjälpsamma. Läget är också jättebra med bara en kort promenad till city centre.

Det finns inget speciellt att klaga på överhuvudtaget.

Great location for city centre exploring, parking options closed by, lovely staff, good size rooms.

Traffic noise due to location.

To dirty

Dirty. Bad smell in the bathroom

Facilities

Parking position

Lovely breakfast, spacious rooms

The beds were a bit hard

Easy check in and comfortable rooms. Very hospitable staff. Nice to have ironing facilities in the room as well as a hairdryer. Good breakfast choices aswell

Lights in the room felt a little dim and did see a few cobwebs but no spiders thank god..just need a little attention to that otherwise all was good.

Clean , modern and close to the centre

Eficiente

The staff were really friendly and helpful! We felt really welcome the receptionist even gave our son a kit kat when we left which was nice. The rooms were really clean and my son loved having a double bed all to himself because he normally tries to take over mine and my wife's bed.

Nothing

Location, room size, view, cleanliness, gym, breakfast buffet. We only stayed one night but everything was perfect. Staff were attentive and quickly dealt with the minor issues we had.

Paying for parking but understand why as it's a city centre location. I was nervous about the car park after reading Google reviews but it was fine. The room phone worked but calls were not picked up so I had to make my request at reception & cards were a little faulty. Both minor issues were quickly sorted. The team here are very professional .

Room was a nice size.

Location. Room was noisy. Breakfast was cold.

Big comfortable bedroom. Excellent breakfast. Lovely helpful staff. All processes simple, including the discounted car parking. Amazingly good value.

The only snag was that the shower didn’t work properly. But an engineer responded as soon as we reported it

Hotel is good and room also clean, I was stay for one night with family, room is enough big.. 👍🏻❤️

Nothing..

Location

Breakfast was lovely

Central location and always friendly

I have always found the property to be very welcoming, clean with friendly staff in reception and lounge

The staff were helpful courteous and friendly. The hotel was very clean, we had an issue in our room and the team sorted it straight away and thats all you can ask. Breakfast is good and a great selection. Great location and considering its in the centre we were not disturbed by outside noise. 👍😍

The beds were too firm for me but for others im sure they would be perfect 👌

The staff were pleasant and helpful for the most part. The bed was comfortable and the restaurant was well-stocked for both breakfast and dinner.

The response when I informed the front desk that the phone in my room didn't work was that 'they' would get someone to fix it the next day. Unfortunately, when I checked out after my 3rd night there, the phone still was not working. The parking was excessive; 60GBP for 3 nights!! There was no laundry on the premises and washing had to be sent out; as there was no listing for 'slacks' on the laundry list, my slacks were dry-cleaned and pressed (incorrectly) with a total charge of 63GBP!!

Lied about the parking. Told us we could only park 20 minutes outside the hotel. But other cars were parked there for days.

The location is great and the breakfast is amazing. The best part about this place is the staff, they’re highly approachable and helping.

Car park close to the city centre.

All good

Near to the town and ample parking space

Limited vegan breakfast choices

Staff were fantastic. Room was clean and modern.

Location a little awkward for pedestrian access from railway station but once you get over the roads and and traffic lights and into town not a big issue.

Quality and presentation good but cooked food wasn’t warm enough - lukewarm

On arrival smell on exiting lift. Same smell on entering room - air conditioning??? . By opening window and playing about with air con minimised smell - not a good first impression. Did not complain

Bra stora rum, nära till allt.

Inga mini kyl, frukost var inte så bra

Spacious and clean room. The iron and ironing board in came in very handy. Friendly staff.

Expensive parking charges at NCP parking nearby. Would be good if there was parking provided at Holiday Inn with discounted pricing.

Central location and friendly staff

Nothing

Location

one of the staff at reception was very rude

Lovely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location to explore Leicester

N/A

Very clean, and comfortable. Friendly and welcome staff. Lovely self serve breakfast with plenty of choices. First time in a holiday inn and I was very pleasantly surprised. Will definitely go back!

Hotel was ideal for my needs

Extremely friendly staff. Decent food selection for breakfast

Clarity on parking fees with local euro car park (discounted rate available but only when registering at reception- that info is not clear at the car park itself)

It was ok

The bathroom left a lot to be desired. The location of soap dispensers was dangerous for elderly people, a slip danger when using the shower and an impossible position to reach when using the bath, above and out of reach.

Frühstück sehr gut. Sehr nettes Personal beim Frühstück.

Wilde Gegend, Parkplatz nicht sicher.

Bathroom problems again

We had a great time during our stay. Francesco and Sojjan ensured that our breakfast needs were met. Will visit again

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn on numerous occasions this year and have consistently been impressed by the warm welcome and excellent service from every member of staff. The restaurant team, in particular, are helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Adjacent parking is available, and the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the city centre, making it a convenient base for exploring. All in all, a great place to stay when visiting the area.

Lovely hotel well located. Breakfast was great especially for the coeliac among us. They took time to make sure she got exactly what she wanted and brought it straight from the kitchen. Francisco and his colleagues were attentive, cheery and helpful.

Great hospitality I have come across in so long, Jackie was so helpful and kind

Location was good and staff was helpfull too

Na

Whole hotel experience was fantastic. Francisco during breakfast showed great service with a smile friendly staff and great variety of food.

Bed not particularly comfortable. Daytime staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Helpful staff and comfy rooms

Because of the location of the hotel, it can get noisy. Hotel staff were kind enough to move us to a quieter room

Minimal furniture in the rooms

Staff generally good but one or two front desk staff a bit combative. No walk-in shower.

Breakfast was perfect: fresh and enough choice

bit more lighting in the room; there were different types of lights around the room, but not enough in the main area. I struggled to see the creases while ironing.

Helpful staff

I booked for 1 room but was charged for 2 rooms

Helpful staff

I booked for 1 room but I was charged for 2 roomsR ZZ

Overall friendly staff. Especially Robert who engaged with us daily. The breakfast was tasty. However we would have appreciated a bit more variation. The bed was comfortable and made well. The hotel is also within walking distance of city center which was very practical for us. Overall pleasant experience.

Breakfast is premium price but only average in content and taste

The breakfast. More fresh fruit.

Location, staff and value

Cleanliness in the toilets and corridors

The staff were friendly helpful the breakfast was great and I got a lovely gluten free breakfast

The bed was harder than I would have liked and it was a shower over a bath but everything else made up for that
