The property was in a good location. Close to the airport and in walking distance from grocery store and restaurants. We were able to do an early check-in for a small fee so they were very accommodating. The facilities were very clean.

The room was dirty upon arrival, with leftover food, a hole in the couch, and food stains on the table from the previous stay. Then I left early. I paid for the room upon arrival, but they took the money way later, after checkout, which was overdrawn from my bank account, causing trouble

The location is ideal, good for shopping and not far from the airport.

Airport pick up shuttle is the reason why we didn’t gave a 10. We called upon arrival. Waited 45 minutes. Shuttle did not showed up. Called again. They told us we’ll send a Lift in 17 minutes. Never showed up. We took a taxi for 25 usd for a 10 minute drive. They have to work on this issue!!!!!!

Perfect location, 12 minutes from the airport. Late checkout was not a problem. Rooms are perfect for a short stay. Staff is wonderful. Near a large supermarket and some fastfood.

You need to pay 25$ parking fee

Our 3 day stay was absolutely incredible!!! I would like to thank Maricela for keeping our room so clean and tidy. The breakfast was amazing and what made it even better was the attention to make us feel at home from Karelia, Yaima and Nora. The attention to detail is what we most admired. I had an excellent breakfast experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Airport South – Blue Lagoon, located at 777 NW 57th Avenue, Miami, FL 33126. The breakfast was fresh, well organized, and had a great variety of options. Everything was kept clean and fully stocked throughout the morning. I especially want to recognize Karelia, Yaima, and Nora for their outstanding customer service. They were welcoming, attentive, friendly, and made sure every guest felt taken care of. Their professionalism, positive attitude, and dedication truly made a difference and started my day on a great note. Thank you to the entire breakfast team for the excellent hospitality. The staff was friendly and helpful! Fernando went above and beyond to pick us up early from the airport.

There needs to be signs that are enforced about kids wearing swim diapers and no eating by the pool or hit tub. A toddler threw up but the hot tub! The phones do not work at the pool deck. We had to text a staff member.

Location was great, you can cross the street and there are Dominos, Burger King. etc. As soon as I get into the room, the TV showed my name and 2 bottles of complimentary water were there. There was a free shuttle every hour to the airport. Continental breakfast had a variety that also surprised me. Wi-fi was also very good and check out time was perfect (12pm) for my flight.

My mind is at peace when I book and stay at this hotel. Clean rooms, quiet hotel with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am very impressed by the on-time hourly airport shuttle complimentary shuttle along with their late check-out policy. Just ask! The location is convenient, walking distance from multiple food options and if you want to add a bit of shopping there is that too. ATMs, supermarket and gas station is also close by. When I stay at Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon South I believe I am getting value and the atmosphere helps me to work and feel safe knowing that the staff is responsive.

I stay the night in Miami to catch a connecting flight and this was by far on the best best places to stay for your money. Room was super clean, everything worked, nothing that needed repair. No cockroaches in the middle of the night. The other brand named hotels in the same area are not so good. We will be staying here from now on when we are passing thru.

We decides to stay here prior to departing on a cruise and the hotel staff have been great to us. Very attentive and responsive to our requests. Everything has been very very good, rooms are clean, breakfast is great! Hampton Inn is pretty consistent throughout their properties.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Hampton Inn. Check-in was quick and easy, and Gio, the Front Desk Supervisor, was extremely helpful. He provided great recommendations for nearby restaurants and local attractions, making our visit even more enjoyable.

The property was well kept up.

Loved everting about the property. The room was hot thou. I tried to turn the AC unit down to get cold but it didn’t move. So I just tried to sleep in the heat not a good feeling

The one hour wait for your shuttle. If it ran every half an hour you would have happy customers. We missed the shuttle NY 30 seconds. When your flying alot you just want to get to your hotel.

This Hampton Inn beats any Hampton I’ve ever stayed at due to the amazing friendly staff and the design and decor. Only pictures can do it justice. I can only say Blue Lagoon is a fitting name for this out of the ordinary Hampton Inn.

First I’ll mention our front desk person Edis. From the time I called and spoke to him to edit my reservation, to when we met at the front desk Edis was amazing! Best customer service ever and delightful, respectful young man. Then there’s the property. Not a 4 star hotel but in my opinion..4 star service and cleanliness. Better room and facilities than the much more expensive 4 star we just left in Georgia! Our second time staying with Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon but won’t be our last. We will stay here before our cruises out of Miami every time !!!

My wife and I had just got off a cruise we requested to get our room a little early. Unfortunately, I booked for the incorrect date through Expedia. Gio and Edie at front desk were phenomenal! Gio found us a room a great rate. Gio walked us through on how to get refunded from Expedia. We were so impressed by the superior customer service, that we agreed that this will be the only hotel we stay at anytime we are in Miami.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and both times were great. I love the location because it's right across the street from a shopping center that has a grocery store, restaurants and Burlingtons. They offer free breakfast, free airport shuttle and a shuttle to the Port of Miami for a small fee. Five Stars Definitely..

Il y a beaucoup de choses à dire. Et pas en bien. Premier point j’ai demandé un lit bébé durant ma réservation booking, j’arrive sur place je le spécifie à la réception et nous partons dîner avec mon mari à 20h30 à notre retour le lit n’est toujours pas en chambre. J’appelle la reception qui fait envoyer un lit qui arrive rapidement mais au moment de le monter on se rends compte qu’il est cassé. On demande un deuxième lit qui lui aussi avait un soucis on a fini pas réussir à le faire tenir après 15mn d’essais. Durant le séjour mon fils et moi même nous nous sommes coupés sur la moquette dans notre appartement. Comme si nous avions marché sur des petits bouts de verres. L’appartement quant à lui n’avait même pas de planche à découper et très peu d’ustensiles de cuisine. Le matin mon fils a été réveillé par un monsieur qui nettoyait les vitres. Je ne parle même pas de l’odeur de drogue dans notre couloir d’appartement super pour un enfant de deux ans. La piscine était froide et le jacuzzi beaucoup trop chaud. La seule chose qui sauve les meubles sont les employés qui eux sont top le reste c’est à fuir

That i booked months in advance for a good price and when I showed up I was told y'all double booked and no longer had my room and tried to charge me double what I paid for the room initially which was a huge inconvenience after flying all day to get there.

The transportation situation was a genuine headache. The hotel shuttle only runs to the airport once an hour, and nobody tells you this in advance, so I ended up scrambling for a last-minute taxi. Don’t count on them to get you where you need to go. The fitness center was similarly disappointing: the Peloton had no working programming, the treadmill was out of order, and the weights selection was pretty sparse. The room itself wasn’t in great shape either. Tattered curtains, no lock on the bathroom door, and the pool towels were almost comically small (barely enough to cover your chest). It all added up to a stay that felt a little neglected. Breakfast was genuinely good, though, so there’s that.

I stayed here this passed Monday and Tuesday for a business trip there were 2 men that I met at the front desk 1 was named GUSTAVO and the other was named JOSE, I was first greeted by Gustavo he seemed nice very polite he was on the phone trying to get someone to get my luggage for me in the meantime while I was waiting I looked over and met JOSE I had asked him about the amenities and what he recommended in the area for a place to eat just to have small talk to pass time while I waited this man said there's a Burger King near by I asked for recommendations not a quick bite at a fast food restaurant what a lazy response I don't know how he was even a supervisor he had so much attitude and his body language was so un enthusiastic you can cut the tension with a knife I was so bothered with his character I just ignored him and started talking to Gustavo he made my visit a bit more pleasing

The staff was very friendly and professional, and the hotel had a really pleasant scent throughout. The room was also beautiful, clean, and comfortable. There are secure parking spaces directly at the hotel, and the parking fee is reasonable.

Unfortunately, the rooms are not well soundproofed. We had a room near the elevator and could hear every single person coming and going. I also found the price for one night a bit too high.
