Die Unterkunft war ein echter Traum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und für eine Safari im Yala Nationalpark eine perfekte Lage. Hab die Safari nicht über das Hotel gebucht, sondern direkt über den Benachbarten Anbieter. Frühstück war super und für die Safari wurde das Frühstück sehr nachhaltig verpackt.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sowohl das Frühstück, als auch das Abendessen waren super lecker. Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön und stylish.

Wir waren leider Moskito-Buffet. Das Zimmer braucht dringend Moskitoschutz über dem Bett, sowie an den Fenstern.

La struttura è stupenda e secondo noi non rende abbastanza dalle foto. È tutto perfetto, pulito, curato nei minimi dettagli: dall’arredamento, alla piscina, alle stanze e alla cucina. La struttura si trova a 5 minuti di tuk tuk dalla città e a circa mezz’ora a piedi. È situata vicino al lago in una zona residenziale locale della città. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile. Il cibo tutto buonissimo, la colazione è stata la migliore che abbiamo fatto in Sri Lanka e anche a pranzo e a cena abbiamo mangiato molto bene. L’hotel ci ha anche organizzato il Safari a Yala National Park con la guida Mari. Per noi era il nostro primo Safari e Mari ha reso l’esperienza unica: una guida che conosce bene il parco e sa ascoltare e rispettare la natura e gli animali. L’hotel ci ha anche preparato la box per la colazione, è stata una giornata perfetta e etica e rispettosa degli animali. Ci dispiace non essere rimasti di più in questa intima oasi di pace! Miglior hotel in cui abbiamo soggiornato in Sri Lanka!!

Tutto perfetto, secondo noi i proprietari dovrebbero rifare le foto della struttura perché non le fanno giustizia e non valorizzano abbastanza i suoi bellissimi dettagli.

It’s a beautiful property, exceeded my expectations. The room, public areas and pool are all stylish and immaculately maintained. They also put together an excellent picnic breakfast to take on our early safari.

Le design, l’architecture, l’accueil de Sujith et de son personnel. Le restaurant est parfait également. La piscine permet de se reposer et se detendre ou après un safari à Yala.

Prachtig hotel!!! Oogt heel nieuw en luxe. Zwembad was ook echt prachtig! Je kan een safari boeken, wat wij dus ook hebben gedaan. Een eigen jeep voor whole day is wel fijn, omdat je dan wat meer beweegruimte hebt zonder andere toeristen.

Ze doen hun best de kamers schoon te maken, maar toch blijft de badkamer stinken bij gebruik van water. Communicatie over safari kon beter; we kregen snel reactie toen we aangaven het te willen boeken, maar toen we dit eenmaal gedaan hadden kregen we geen reacties meer op vragen. Zo moesten we zelf uitzoeken hoelaat we klaar moesten staan en wisten we niet dat er ook een pauze van twee uur op een strand bij zat.

The room was nice and clean. The staff was super friendly, and the dinner and breakfast were really good! The pool area was also spotless and lovely. The private half-day safari cost $145 for two people, which included entrance tickets ($40-$45 p.P.) and a packed breakfast. Our safari driver was also very respectful towards wildlife and nature.

Wat een parel is dit! By far het mooiste hotel waar we in Sri Lanka geweest zijn. De kamer, het restaurant, het zwembad: alles is prachtig en lijkt wel gloed nieuw! De safari die het hotel regelde was ook top. We kregen ontbijtpakketjes mee en Mari was een hele leuke gids. Hij noemt zichzelf ‘driver’, maar daar doet hij zichzelf behoorlijk mee te kort. Hij ziet echt alles! Als klap op de vuurpijl mochten wij na de Safari nog een aantal uurtjes extra van de kamer gebruikmaken. We hoefden pas om 4 uur naar het vliegveld en hij was vrij, dus dat vonden ze geen probleem. Al met al een hele dikke aanrader dit!

My Village is een kleinschalig resort dat met veel smaak is ingericht. Heerlijke bedden, geweldig zwembad en werkelijk het beste ontbijt van onze hele reis. Ik raad aan je safari hier te boeken. Onze gids Nishan reed geweldig en via de tickets van My Village konden we als een vd eersten het park in.

Het hotel biedt laundry service aan. We hebben onze witte was gescheiden ingeleverd van de gekleurde was. We kregen dit bruin / roze terug. Ze hebben het nog een keer geprobeerd te wassen maar het bleef vies. Het ging om veel kleding. Geen compensatie gekregen of korting op verblijf. Met de baas gesproken en afgesproken dat hij een bericht zou schrijven zodat wij dit bij onze verzekering kunnen claimen. We hebben hier 2 uur op gewacht maar geen bericht gekregen. Hij nam zijn telefoon niet meer op en liet zijn staff aan hun lot over (die hun uiterste best voor ons deden maar erg slecht engels spraken). Uiteindelijk moeten vertrekken zonder iets van een excuus of verantwoording nemen. Zeer slechte service. Echt heel jammer want hangt als een donkere wolk boven ons verblijf hier.

Fantastisch verblijf, echt een paradijsje met vriendelijke mensen. Het zwembad is ontzettend mooi en de kamers zijn ruim met een goede airco! Daarnaast was het eten heerlijk, met name de chicken roti is een aanrader :).

De waterdruk was helaas niet goed, waardoor er weinig water uit de douche kwam en we de tweede dag het toilet niet konden doorspoelen.

De accommodatie was echt fantastisch. Zeer sfeervol ingericht, netjes en schoon. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was goed en ook kan je hier zeer goed dineren. Alles werd vers gemaakt. Het zwembad is ook echt prachtig. Kortom dit is echt een aanrader. Wil je vanuit deze locatie een safari maken naar Yala park, stuur de dan een bericht naar de accommodatie. Hier regelen ze dit voor je tegen goede prijs.

ホテルの内装ですが、写真より実際の方がめちゃくちゃ素敵です！可愛くてテンションあがりますよ。 2階の素敵なお部屋を用意していただき、快適に過ごせました。プールに入る時間がなかったのが残念！ 朝ごはんはサファリ用のお弁当を用意していただき、とても美味しかったです。ウェルカムドリンクも最高でした。 ヤーラサファリを予定している方は、ぜひホテルに手配をお願いしてください！ドライバーさんがプライベートジープで朝迎えにきてくれて、早いタイミングで入ることができました。そして、彼がヒョウを見つけてくれたので、私たちは特等席で見ることができました！！！その後もゾウの親子を見れたり、有名なTuskerを見れたり、想定以上のサファリツアーでした！！ 本当にドライバーさんと、My Villageに感謝です。Yalaに行くならこのホテル一択ですよ。

De kamer was ruim, netjes en had alles wat we nodig hadden. We reserveerden een ochtendsafari in Yala via het hotel. Deze was ook dik in orde. We kregen een ruime gevarieerde ontbijtbox mee en konden na onze safari uitchecken. Het zwembad ligt net de straat over maar het is er zo rustig en paradijslijk dat het niet opvalt dat je de straat over moet. Een dikke aanrader!

The bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. A special thank you to Mari, who organised our safari experience. Everything was arranged perfectly with no issues at all, and the driver was fantastic. We were lucky enough to see so many amazing animals, which made the experience truly unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and unforgettable experiences. Wij hebben onwijs genoten. De accommodatie ziet er tiptop uit. Goed ingericht en gestyled. Kamers zijn ruim met hoog plafond. We kregen elke dag een verse smoothie. We hebben de Safari bij het hotel geboekt, en dat was een groot succes. We hadden geen betere safari leider kunnen hebben. We hebben in totaal drie luipaarden gezien. Het zwembad is een aangename aanvulling op de accommodatie. Lekkere temperatuur van het water en schoon. Het ontbijt was perfect. De medewerkers waren gastvrij en hulpvaardig. We raden deze accommodatie zeker aan.

Heel fijn zwembad, vriendelijk personeel dat ons eerder liet inchecken. Personeel regelde safari en een lekker ontbijtpakketje voor onderweg.

Je zit in de jungle, dus veel mieren en vliegen en we hadden een grote kakkerlak in onze badkamer, maar dit was er maar eentje dus puur door de jungle en niet vanwege hygiëne denken we.

Everithing was newly built and clean. Pool is great, staff also. They packed us breakfast in cute wooden boxes we could take to a safari at 4 a.m. good value for money.

El hotel es muy bonito, las fotos no le hacen justicia. La piscina es muy chula y las habitaciones están limpias y bien, es verdad que nuestro cuarto era oscuro porque las ventanas no daban directamente al exterior, pero no nos importó. También había algunas hormigas pero es algo habitual en la zona. El personal es agradable pero la comunicación no fue buena, no nos entendíamos en inglés.

Al llegar no sabían que habitación teníamos, nos dejaron las maletas y ya, no nos explicaron nada. Tuve que preguntar donde estaba la piscina ya que está cruzando la calle. También preguntamos al que creemos que era el encargado del hotel sobre los autobuses para movernos a otra zona y no sabía o no nos entendía, el caso es que no nos facilitaron ninguna ayuda. Y para terminar me da mucha pena porque reservamos un safari con el hotel ya que vimos buenas reseñas pero no me gustó. Tenía una experiencia previa muy buena en Habaranna con otro guia super respetuoso con los animales pero no fue el caso. En Yala todos los Jeep se avalanzan en busca del Leopardo lo cual es muy agobiante, me encanta la naturaleza y los animales así como poder observarlos pero no a cualquier precio, no tengo necesidad de perseguir a un pobre animal por una foto.. además la excursión era de 5 a 12 y a las 10.45h estábamos en el hotel, parecía que el guía tenía prisa, nadie nos dijo porque nos íbamos tan pronto cuando la excursión contratada por 125 euros implicaba esas horas ... Además nos dijo varias veces que el había hecho su trabajo, que ya nos había enseñado el leopardo y que ya nos podíamos ir, pensaba que era broma pero no.. y luego se ofendieron pq no dejamos propina Así que me da lastima porque el hotel es agradable y bonito y las personas que trabajan en el también pero al no poder comunicarnos correctamente con ellos así como el tour de safari hacen que tenga que puntutarlo negativamente ya que un alojamiento lo conforman tanto la estructura, las personas y servicios que se ofrecen.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hier wirklich top!! Das Essen ist sehr gut und auch die Zimmer sind wunderschön. Perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für eine Yala Safari. Der Pool und die Außenanlage sind wunderschön.

Die Unterkunft hat uns eine Safari in Yala und eine in Bundala organisiert. Beide Safaris waren mit Mari, der ein toller Guide war. Er hat eine große Begeisterung für die Natur und erklärte uns viel über die Tiere.

Lovely stay close to Yara if you’re doing a safari. Great pool and food. Mari who was our safari guide and driver was great!

Wat een prachtig plekje, met het leukste ontbijt wat we gehad hebben. We kregen een upgrade naar een ruimere kamer. Met een heerlijk bed!

Het personeel is erg terughoudend, legt niets uit. We zijn wel heel vriendelijk ontvangen en behandeld hoor, maar het zwembad zat bijvoorbeeld aan de overkant en we werden niet naar onze kamer gebracht. De tassen werden daar neergezet en zo doende wisten we dat dat onze kamer moest zijn.

Beautifully designed - the pool was gorgeous and a haven to sit after a safari. The main hotel dining area is stylish and great breakfast. The hotel organised a private safari with their own guide Mari who was superb! So knowledgable and passionate about the park - genuinely interested and great at spotting even the smallest animals and birds as well as the block buster Leopards and Elephant - it’s not the cheapest but so worth it. The hotel pack a wonderful breakfast (beautifully packaged in a wooden box - loved the attention to detail!) and an amazing curry lunch. Couldn’t fault our experience.

Excellent stay. Stayed here 2 nights and they arranged a safari to Yala with an excellent driver Maree. The rooms were large and comfortable with AC and a roof fan. Food was excellent as usual and all in all a great place to stay if you want to go to Yala. Not much else in the surrounding areas.

Es könnte bei der Ankunft mehr kommuniziert werden. Wir waren uns nicht sicher ob das Restaurant offen hat, haben dann aber später herausgefunden, dass es immer geöffnet ist und der Koch dann auf Bestellung frisch kocht. Das war dann sehr schön und lecker! Unser Zimmer war leider nicht richtig sauber (Spiegel nicht geputzt, Haare am Fön, etwas Staub)

Geweldige plek, alles is super stijlvol ingericht en de service is goed. Prachtig zwembad met hele fijne ligbedden. Ruime schone kamer. Super uitgebreid en heerlijk ontbijt. Er staat altijd gezellig een muziekje op. Wij hebben geen safari gedaan (omdat we die in Wilpattu al hadden gedaan en veel gezien) maar toch hebben we ons heerlijk vermaakt in dit prachtige boutique hotel.

Cool eingerichtetes Hotel mit wahnsinnig schöner Poolanlage! Essen & Frühstücksboxen überragend! Safari und Transfer zur nächsten Unterkunft wurden entspannt bei Anreise vom Hotelbesitzer organisiert. Safari unbedingt bei Podi buchen! Wir haben 2 Leoparden, viele Elefanten, ein Krokodil usw. gesehen! Der Guide war der absolute Hammer! Fahrstil auch sehr unterhaltsam (fast wie Freizeitpark)!

Mitarbeiter sprechen nicht so gut Englisch und generell wird nicht so viel kommuniziert. Wenn man selbst nach Infos fragt, klappt aber alles hervorragend!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im My Village Hotel und können es in Kombination mit einer Safari empfehlen. Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Der Pool ist gross und gepflegt, perfekt für einen entspannten Nachmittag nach der Safari. Die Umgebung im Ort selbst ist eher schlicht, aber im Hotel hat man alles, was man braucht. Das Frühstück war gut. Wir konnten frische Eierspeisen wählen und es gab eine grosse Auswahl an leckerem Obst. Das Abendessen im Hotel ist etwas teurer als in den lokalen Restaurants, die wir sonst besucht haben, aber die Qualität war sehr gut, alles frisch zubereitet und lecker. Unser Highlight war die Full-Day-Safari im Yala National Park mit Nishan. Er war unglaublich freundlich, ein sehr guter Fahrer und hat sich grosse Mühe gegeben, dass wir Leoparden sehen. Auch alle anderen Tiere hat er sofort entdeckt und uns erklärt. Man hat gemerkt, dass ihm wichtig ist, dass wir eine tolle Erfahrung haben.

Eine super schönes Hotel im grünen, mit einer sehr schönen Pool Anlage. Der Service ist sehr gut, ebenso wie das Essen welches frisch zubereitet wird. Die Portionen sind sehr groß und Köstlich. Die Organisierte Safari war super, der Guide war top und das Frühstück welches wir mit bekamen auch. Rundum ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt.

The hotel was very nice. They were helpful, they organized a full day safari for us. Our driver Chamara was very good. He hassled his way through tens of other safari vehicles and gave us an incredible view as the leopard crossed the road right in front of us. We were also very lucky but credits to Chamara!

All facilities extremely good. We had a delightful stay! We booked a full day private safari through the hotel, Armari our guide was exceptional and made sure we had the best experience. We saw all of the ‘must see animals’.

Tolles Frühstück, haben liebevolle Lunchbox am Tag der Safari zubereitet bekommen. Unser Zimmer (1.OG) war sehr dunkel, aber ruhig und draußen gab es zahlreiche Sitzgelegenheiten (an Mückenschutz denken!)

Attractive. Spacious. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into its modern design. Room was spotless & comfortable. Pool area - just across the road - is well maintained & inviting. The property arranged a half day Jeep tour of Yala National Park. The driver & guide, Mari, was excellent, doing his utmost to draw our attention to what we could not ‘spot’.

Just the one mistake. Booked us for a tour of Yala instead of the quieter Bundala that we had asked for. Never mind! Mari more than made up for the error.

Our entire experience deserves a 10. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. The room might feel slightly dark, but there are plenty of lights available, so this was not an issue for us. We really enjoyed the dinner as well, which meant we did not need to leave the hotel in the evening. It was delicious. We also loved relaxing by the swimming pool. The service from everyone at the hotel was outstanding. The staff was professional, kind, and very attentive. We also booked a morning safari to Yala National Park through the hotel. They prepared a breakfast box for us in a beautiful wooden box, and it was absolutely delicious. Our driver and guide, Nishan, was excellent. He is very knowledgeable about the animals, and you can clearly see that this is his passion. We were lucky enough to see a leopard, as well as elephants, crocodiles, water buffaloes, deer, and many different bird species. It was truly an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend both the hotel and the safari to anyone visiting Yala!
