Delta Hotels by Marriott Northampton

All staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and professional ! Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of USB points, although I didn’t notice the ones in the bedside lights initially 🙄😊.

My biggest niggle was being charged £2 for the car park, especially when the room was costing over £100.

The shower was not very good, One minute, it was very hot, and next minute, it was cold. You can not get the right temperature on it that was a shame. We will stay again ( I hope it gets sorted out)

Toilet didn’t flush . Outrageous I was charged 50.00 on my debit card for no reason. When I asked in the morning she said you should get it refunded in 7- 10 days. Daylight robbery and for this reason I would never stay again . What actually is the 50 pounds for?. Also 3.00 pounds for parking as a paying guest. RIP off

The hotel has no lift , poor lady at reception had to help me carry my load . I pre booked late checkout and had to cancel it and they would not refund my money back which was very disappointing? I had the right to request for a refund . The shower head is very small and not a lot of water coming out.

Das Zimmer hatte eine gute Grösse (auch mit ausgezogenem Schlafsofa für unser Kind), es war sauber und trotz Nähe zur Schnellstrasse ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück hatte gut geschmeckt und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und wollten nahe an der Schnellstrasse bleiben. Wir waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden.

Location perfect. View from the room was perfect. I look the fact that I was able to open the window for natural breeze.

2 rooms booked and was given close to each other

Room was freezing. They said heater was broken so we requested plug in heaters amd extra duvet. Plug sockets was broken and TV wasn't working in the room. Very disappointed with my stay.

Good location and reasonable charge of just £3 for parking (although I think it should be in with the price of the room). Room was a little tired but air conditioning was superb! That good I had to turn it down in the end. Good power shower and large TV with good channel selection. Empty fridge which I never understand, where is the mini bar?? Main bar, Polish lady was so nice and chatty, food was also good although we felt menu selection was very limited! Overall it was a pleasant overnight stay and I will return again.

We hosted an event here with the help of The Delta. The entire team were utterly sensational and they had the most amazing rooms, conference spaces and food offerings. The place was so clean and had all the amenities one could ask for. The service is exceptional and if ever you are in Northampton you should go here. Not sure I would rush to book a Marriott up again, Reception Staff were very nice and friendly as were a couple of the Restaurant staff, what let the Hotel down were the uncomfortable beds, ( I asked Reception for an extra matress topper which was added and helped) tea and coffee not being topped up, considering we were staying 3 nights it wouldn't have been too much trouble to put 6 tea bags etc in at beginning of stay, having to remember to ask reception for a tea bag etc was annoying. I would have like my bed made up for the price paid, it is really aimed at one night corporate stays. We were meeting friends, we had a fridge they did not even though we had the same room type,, there safe did not work ours did ( mentioned to reception) Breakfast was ok, was made to feel awkward that I asked for a Vegetarian option too late at 9.30am " she would have to check if there was anything this late as it may have run out".... there was at least another hour of service left .... Quiet setting and easy to get an Uber into the Centre. Overall ok, but not outstanding.

I cannot express how helpful the staff were during our one-night stay. If I were basing my review on customer service alone, this would easily be a 5/5 review. Unfortunately, we had to change rooms twice within the first half hour of checking in. The first room had a faulty toilet flush and the second had a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. As a result, it felt as though our stay had been blighted from the outset. However, the lady on reception, whose name I sadly forgot to ask, was absolutely fantastic. She was patient, understanding, genuinely apologetic and did everything she could to ensure that our stay was comfortable. She arranged for us to move rooms again and upgraded us to a much larger room, which was perfect. I would like to sincerely thank this young lady for her outstanding customer service. In many places today, good customer care can be difficult to find, so it was refreshing to encounter someone who clearly takes pride in delivering an excellent service. Overall, the staff are the real strength of this establishment. The bed was very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was lovely. We stayed for one night on 30th May and despite the issues encountered on arrival, the exceptional service we received made a lasting impression. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would like to thank the team for looking after us so well.

No disabled access to upper floor. Plug on lamp had cover missing leaving live terminals exposed, although this was quickly rectified. Surely an inspection of the room would have picked this up - very dangerous!

The evening meals for both my partner and I were below the expected standard unfortunately.

Water from bath tap was running yellow with what looked like dirt or fecal matter in it. Although the staff gave me another room to shower, there didn't seem to be a lot of curiosity to investigate the problem.

I was staying for my 45th birthday at the end of March 2026 (27 March - 3rd April) I am a regurlar guest at the hotel so am used to being treated very well and always feel welcome and well looked after hotel rooms are always clean and hotel well kept and alwasy has an amazing laidback peacful atmoshere, I will usually give the hotel a 8 or 9 out of 10 but this stay has to be a full blown 10/10 everyone from the reception team to the bar and resturant teams went above board to make my birthday special my mum was treated like royalty and I felt like a V.I.P - Special mentions to Anna - so prfessionall and welcoming always look forward to being served by her Louise - such a pleasure speaking with her made us feel welcome and made sure a requests were met Temas - I would need to write a full 3 page review to fully express how Temas made sure everything went smoothly cant put a foot wrong Robert - I have never had to look for Robert any time i walk into the retsturant area I am greeted with such Respect alwasy well looked after a class gentlman Shyam - Represents the team amazingly need more hotel staff like this Callum - Dont let Callum leave such a qaulity staff member to have on the team. the whole team are such a joy to be around and see working they are the reason i will always go back to the Marriot Hotel Northamptom and have become a regular Location is great very peacful dont even realise there is motorway nearby

Breakfast hit and miss… Cooked food Luke warm not hot.. Monday 20th,there was no sausages or bacon available?.. My first of three breakfasts there were little pots of honey,2 nd Day an old nearly empty jar..3rd day no honey at all.. third day also no fruit yoghurts available only plain..no tinned peaches for my fruit salad,and no fresh bananas. What is going on for the price you charged? My room… No daily maid service..call reception if needed.. So sorry but this is supposed to be a good hotel..I expected the service I received first time I stayed, not a penny pinching establishment.. Tea/ coffee in room not replaced at all.. Call if you need.?? I was appalled by the lack of service this time round..And to top it off ..being told you are going to start charging up to Ten pounds a day to park your car in a car park on top of now overpriced and unkept rooms.As there was myself and partner with two cars that’s £60 on top of 3 day room charges.. You don’t get charged for parking in cheaper hotels close to yourselves. ie- travelodge Wooton and Premier In. wooton… I have used both as I come toNorthampton often and realise now that they are much better value which is a shame . I chose yourselves as I had my grandsons wedding over the weekend and wanted that big of luxury I found there before.. Added to that my partner was close to the golf course.. It really did spoil my stay .. As the pampering I got on my last visit had all but disappeared.. I did not call reception for anything because I realised that you must have reduced staff in housekeeping and managed.. It’s such a shame and I most certainly won’t be praising you this time around.. I’m very upset by the massive reverse in standards.. Therefore I won’t be staying with you again.. Sad but I don’t have money to throw away when things I expected are no longer available..
