Fabulous location, easy parking, lovely and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and a great shower in the bathroom! :)

We had a great stay at this hotel. Although we didn’t have breakfast, our dinner was excellent — the kitchen catered especially well for food intolerances and allergies, which made dining completely stress‑free. The staff were brilliant: friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Our room had a small fridge and a tiny freezer, which was incredibly handy. The hotel also offers loads of facilities we didn’t get the chance to use, but it’s great to have so much available on‑site. The location is ideal too — you can walk into town easily and visit the famous railway model village nearby. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay with fantastic staff and great food
Our stay was very good. Staff is totally incredible. However. It would have been better if they had AC in the room, and getting in and out of the bathtub shower was difficult and a challenge especially since the door stop was in the way. Otherwise. I would recommend getting this place again.
No AC, and getting in and out of the shower. I could see that seniors would have a problem.
Pool was unbelievable really enjoyed it
Bed was very uncomfortable and could also feel all the springs, Also walls are paper thin we came away for a relaxing weekend and both night we wore woken by people screaming and fighting or kids running up and down the hallway at all hours of the night !! Also I found stuff at breakfast not very friendly they could look a bit more approachable! Also rooms needs to be updated. Staff at reception desk was fab and very helpful .. also done dinner in restaurant on both nights and food was unbelievable.. both busy nights and service was on point
Good for families
Timetables out of date for activities
The staff were lovely, very helpful.
Beds weren't as comfortable as they could be. Very hot in the rooms, no A/C
Location was very good to the town. Rooms where lovely and comfortable. I enjoyed the Rituals products in the bathroom.

Nice restaurant & staff at reception were helpful
Rooms are very outdated. Ordered drinks took 25 minutes before we got them, horrific I have to say.
Lovely hotel, excellent choice of food. Staff very efficient. It was very family orientated, lots of kids.
Nothing to report.
There was a faint smell in the corridor. The hotel badly needs upgrading
Location good. Walking distance of town. Clonakilty is a hidden gem. Late bar was lovely. Music on the night was great. Staff we came in contact with were very helpful and nice.

Stayed here for three nights, room was excellent. Lots of facility’s and fun activities for the kids to partake in. Staff were all welcoming! The food truck next to the hotel is a great idea, we all got pizzas and they were amazing. Will definitely be staying again!!
Staff were lovely and breakfast was great.
Didn't realise there would be so many young families there and it was a bit noisy at times. Ideal location for families not so great if you are looking for a quiet getaway.
Very comfortable room and very clean
Water pressure in the shower was terrible.
It was very welcoming, clean & comfortable to stay in . The staff were very friendly & helpful.
Not a great choice on the evening dinner menu.
Only stayed for one night but if I was returning to Clonakilty would definitely stay here again. Staff were friendly and room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Hotel is about a 15min walk to town centre. Highly recommended 👌

Brilliant for the kids lots of fun stuff for them to do
We were here a few years ago when we had one child. A few years later we are back with two! Currently staying in the renovated 2 bed apartments. Really good finish on them and smart tvs are a welcome bonus, the kid's can watch Netflix etc. I gave a good review last time and this time is no different. Highly recommend this hotel, all the staff are great and the food is very good too. One of our children was sick during the night and the night porter dropped us over new linen very quickly which was good. Loads of things to do around the area so hotel is in a great location. Will defo be back again!
Staff were very good - very friendly and great with the kids. Loads for kids to do and I really liked the food truck for a casual dining option
The rooms and some facilities (like the changing rooms) are extremely dated. Not unclean as such but hard to keep it looking fresh. TVs in room old and slow. Lamps and fittings really could do with upgrading. Rooms need a bit of love
So many experiences all in the one place!A ropes course with zip lining, a cinema, an outstanding kids club, children’s discos, music and entertainment every night, a tremendous leisure club with a lovely pool, an indoor play zone, a teenagers games room, wonderful grounds for children to play in, scrumptious breakfasts and much much more. A bowling alley will soon be opened too. This hotel offers self catering holiday homes as well as hotel rooms. The holiday homes are spacious and have recently been refurbished. Our family visits this hotel every Easter. 24 years later, it is still our first choice! David Henry is the manager and he welcomes families back to his hotel year after year. The staff in the hotel are exceptionally well trained and the holiday club for children is run with expertise. Donal, one of the staff who organises the discos for children is so talented and is one of the best entertainers I have ever seen. From this hotel, families can visit Inchydoney Beach, the model railway village and enjoy a ride in the Choo Choo ( a favourite for lots of families), visit the lovely town of Clonakilty with its gorgeous bookshops, Auntie Nellies Sweet shop and much much more. Whether the weather is wet or hot, there is so much to do in this welcoming family hotel. At Easter, your children can enjoy a fabulous Easter Egg hunt. There are special dinners for children to enjoy too and the Sunday lunches for the whole family are amazing. Another facility the hotel offers is an outdoor eating area where families can order pizzas and more. There is something in this hotel for everyone no matter what age. This hotel is a one in a million hotel. Thank you David Henry and all your staff for more than 20 lovely Easter breaks in your holiday homes at the hotel. We look forward to many more adventures.
My self and my partner John stayed in the Cloonakilty park hotel for 3 nights.the staff couldn't be nicer, especially Stephen the manager, we had something that needed to be sorted and he sorted it quickly .the cleaning staff were always so helpful . .it's a children friendly hotel.the breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from.we will be back again, hopefully next year.well done to all involved .👌👏
The hotel was relaxing & great value for money.
Great facilities rooms spacious and comfortable
The quality of the breakfast… powdered scrambled eggs🥴
Loved how relaxed I was down there and the apartment was right next to the hotel. The food was absolutely gorgeous will definitely be back

I liked the staff. They were very helpful. However, they were missing the finishing touches that I enjoy in a hotel. For instance, I stay in a lot of hotels across Ireland and Europe. I am a big coffee drinker. One of the things that I love so much is a Nespresso Machine or even a copy of one in my room. I enjoy a real coffee in the morning. What I have found is that most hotels have this..However, this hotel didn't. They had the cheap Nescafe sachets, which are disgusting. I also felt the room needs a major refurbishment. It was very outdated with natty carpet..I ate in the restaurant on the first night, I orderd a Capresse salad to start with. It was terrible, it had heated bread instead of toast and the rest of it lacked a fresh taste..I had steak for the main, it was ok at best. Also, for the price of €200 per night, I expected breakfast to be included. It wasn't, so I went down town and had great food in the cafes there. Overall, a very average hotel for the price. However with a few tweaks and changes, it could be a good hotel.
Food, coffee machine, ugly carpet in room.
Location perfect for going to a wedding nearby in Fernhill
Bathroom in room was dirty, drain in sink needed work and took forever to drain. Room VERY dated, carpet worn, amenities lacking. Beds very uncomfortable. Overall for too expensive for what you get, would not be in a rush back. Swimming pool changing rooms also in desperate need of a good deep clean.
This is a superb family hotel with so many activities for children ,staff are so helpful and would go out of their way to help with anything.
Absolutely nothing. Well one criticism coffee could be better but not an issue .
Absolutely outstanding hotel . The staff were amazing so helpful and what I really have to commend the hotel on how many Irish staff were there. From start to finish it was the most enjoyable stay I have ever spent.
Couldn’t comment on this because everyone and everything in the hotel was incredible !
Excellent
The quality, variety and atmosphere
Plenty of variety of food Quick ans efficient Very spacious
Just brilliant!! Couldn't praise it enough, amazing for families. Special shout out to the staff at the leisure centre, each and every one of you are an absolute credit to the hotel. We had 4 kids go to your kids camp for 5 days out of 7 and they had such a great time. Initial misgivings from the 12 and 11 yr old who thought they might have been too old for it were quickly forgotten and they were begging to go every day! We ate twice in the bar/restaurant. Kids enjoyed it but adults didn't feel it was as good as previous visits. Service was good to be fair but standard of adults meals wasn't great at all. However overall it was still a very enjoyable stay and we'll hopefully be back soon.
Excellent. Great rooms and breakfast excellent staff hard to fault..
Staff friendly room clean
The stairs are confusing and the locked doors unnecessary
Lovely 2 bed apt. Perfect for family.

My family along with 4 other families stayed at your hotel this past weekend. There was 19 of us in total and all I can say is WOW! Adults and kids alike had the most amazing experience. From the moment we arrived it felt like a home away from home. The rooms were gorgeous and spotless clean, the activities were endless!!! A firm favourite with the kids was the obstacle course and zip lining, but the kids disco/bingo, crazy golf and pool all came a close second. The dining experience was fab! We especially appreciated the fact it was buffet style for the kids (something for everyone and plenty of it!). Our food was great and a server Fiona was wonderful she couldn't do enough! Later in the evening we had the pleasure of meeting Trish , another fab member of staff who is such a great representative for your hotel. She went above and beyond. Very down to earth with a great sense of humour and craic. We were sad leaving on Sunday and our only complaint was that we wished we had stayed two nights as one night just didn't feel like enough! We are already talking about coming back for the festive season. 5* , just brilliant!!!
Stayed in the Clonakilty Park last Thursday and Friday in one on the houses 702 . Great house , plenty of room has everything you need , in great condition , beds are comfy , good strong shower . We dined in the bistro both nights , Food was very good and service was excellent , Kids Buffet excellent value for money €11 per child , Ice cream machine at the end with brownies great touch !! Breakfast has everything you need and plenty . We even got to the Cinema to watch Toy Story ! Now the star of the show is Keith the DJ in kids club . My son Liam is Autistic , Massive Michael Jackson fan , Thursday night he played Michael Jackson song for him , the moves came out and Keith gave him award for best dancer , the look on his face of pure joy was just brilliant! Friday night we went back again it was busy , Keith spotted Liam , Told everyone he had a special guest and that Liam will be dancing a Michael Jackson song .The claps he got my wife was nearly in tears!!!!!!! We left after the disco , tears of joy which we have never seen from him before , we just cant explain how special Liam Felt , as Parents , Keith we thank you for giving Liam that experience , you are a pure gentleman Now we have to go back for his Birthday , see you soon
I went swimming and a guy named George and Cathal were very nice to me
Beautiful hotel in great location with lots of amenities. Staff very pleasant and rooms are very comfortable thanks.
lovely hotel, friendly staff and very clean
rooms very warm at night
Location is 5 mins walk from all thing center, atmosphere is excellent, staff are ever so nice, rooms have everything you need. Value for money is an understatement, you dont have to leave the hotel. Climbing, pool, playground, cinema, teens room, cafe, restaurant and bar for the lads. 10 out of 10
The hotel is very comfortable and staff were very helpful. Lovely food in the bar and good service
Everything - the apartment was well furnished and was spotless. It had everything we needed.
Went for 2 nights with my partner and our 2 year old child, stayed in the apartments, everything was amazing, the pool, the playground, jungle gym, kids disco in the evening, food was spectacular. So close to everything
Rooms where amazing. Brilliant for kids. Had bunk beds and patio with chairs.
Time going to fast. Nothing we didn't like.
Friendly and nice staff
Parkplatz vor der Tür. Freundliches Personal.
Kaffeeautomat mit altem Tab drinnen.
As an ASD family, finding a holiday that’s suits our family can be difficult to get right and we did get it right here. Where the apartments are based were right opposite the pool and little cafe. This was ideal for us with an older teen. The teen room was brilliant with fussball and pool tables and arcade machines. Alongside the cinema ( which we didn’t go to, this time) I could not fault the Clonakilty Park. They have hit the nail on the head with facilities. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartments were stocked with everything we could have possibly needed and the smart tv catered for everyone. It’s was comfortable, immaculate and really lovely stay. We will definitely return.
The pillows were a little hard but that’s really being picky. We survived,
Three nights at this excellent hotel. Comfortable room, good food - large portions - and friendly and helpful staff. Good provision for gluten free.Three nights at excellent hotel
The best family hotel we have stayed at. Everything was perfect. The soft play, swimming pool and outdoor playground keep the kids busy all day! The restaurant is very child friendly and food is great, the family room with bunk bed was so spacious. We also got the terrace room so was a nice addition. They really thought of everything for kids in this hotel, when the room door handle is opened a quiet beeping noise is made, the fish tank in reception allows for a peaceful distraction for kids while waiting around. We stayed with a 3 year old and 6 month old. We will definitely be returning. Would also recommend visiting the beach and model train village while in clonakilty! There is also another playground near by with inclusive equipment.
Fabulous hotel. Warm and cosy. Great facilities. Lovely foyer area to relax in. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Hotel is Family Friendly. Lovely selection of options for breakfast. We stayed here while attending a wedding elsewhere in the town. Staff were really helpful and gave us a list of local taxis to get from one hotel to the other.
Residents bar was closed at 2.30am. It’s outside the town so bear in mind that a taxi will be needed if you want to head into town and have a few drinks. FYI the Hotel Bar doesn’t stock West Coast Cooler.
We stayed in the apartments- so lovely and clean and spacious. Friendly staff Smooth check in/check out
Friendly and helpful staff Great breakfast Comfortable beds

Great for the kids. The property is fine and big with lots for the kids to do
It can be a little bit pricey at times
Very clean with great value for money. Breakfast & lunch were both very nice too.
We had acroom with a patio. Multiple cigarette hutts left in orange on patio.
Beautiful
We recently stayed at the Clonakilty Park Hotel for two nights to celebrate our daughter's second birthday, and I honestly cannot speak highly enough of our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Our daughter was delighted to receive a colouring book and crayons on arrival, and the reception team even gave her a complimentary teddy bear for her birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch that immediately made her feel special. Our room was huge, spotless, and exceptionally comfortable. One of our favourite features was the spacious terrace, complete with a table and chairs, where we could sit out and relax. It was a lovely addition that really enhanced our stay. The facilities for children are absolutely fantastic. Our daughter had the best time swimming in the pool, playing in the soft play area, and exploring the wonderful outdoor playground. There was always something for her to do, which made the trip so enjoyable and stress-free for us as parents. The food was outstanding throughout our stay, and every member of staff we encountered went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. The highlight of the trip was when the staff brought out my daughter's birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to her. It was such a special and heartfelt moment that meant so much to our family and is a memory we will cherish for years to come. What really stood out was the genuine warmth and kindness shown by every member of the team. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and it was clear that they truly care about their guests and go the extra mile to make every stay special. This was genuinely one of the best family breaks we have ever had. The attention to detail, exceptional service, fantastic facilities, amazing food, and welcoming atmosphere were second to none. I honestly cannot find a single fault with our stay. We loved every minute of it and are already looking forward to booking our return trip in the near future. A huge thank you to everyone at the Clonakilty Park Hotel for helping make our daughter's second birthday so magical and memorable.
Clean, comfy and good facilities
Nothing! All good
Firstly, I have to say that the rooms themselves are good quality. The family room is a great example of its type, with quality bunk beds, comfortable double bed, modern bathroom and we had a terrace that caught the afternoon sun. Staff are also professional and helpful. Buffet breakfast also covers all the bases. But basically, we really weren't feeling it here. We had just come from Parknasilla in Kerry which we loved and is a different quality of hotel to this one, so by comparison this felt a bit of a let-down. Also, it is very much dominated by young kids - which I understand as it caters for them very well. I think our kids are possibly a bit old for this place now - there is the teen room with some free arcade machines though the games are all from the 90s so only held their interest so long. The other items like the pool table are extra charge, but basically the room isn't that nice to hang out in. The Activity Centre is geared for older kids but outside of local school holidays is only open at weekends so wasn't an option for most of our stay. The swimming pool was ok though a bit tired. For younger kids there is the indoor jungle gym, the outdoor pirate ship playground, the kids buffet at dinner with a range of options (not sure if this is every night), the evening kids disco aimed at young children etc. The location is uninspiring - basically in a business or light industrial park. Its about 15 minute walk into the centre of town but much of it along a busy road (though there is a good quality playground and exercise area on the way). If I was doing this again, I'd look to stay on the coast.
