A bit less fancy than a regular Shangri-la, but this is what you can expect from a high end business hotel in central Beijing, very convenient. The food is good.

Coming from another smart-looking hotel in another city, I worried that this—our third stay at the Kerry Hotel—wouldn’t impress us so much this time. I was wrong, because it’s still a step up. Clean, smart, with every convenience and attentive service.

Good afternoon. We stayed at the hotel from August 17 to August 21, 2026. We really liked the rooms provided for our family stay; we had adjoining rooms with a connecting door, which was very convenient. We also really appreciated the hotel's location, with many cafes, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. I would like to highlight the staff: my son lost his headphones in a taxi, but the staff contacted the driver and resolved the issue, ensuring the headphones were returned to us that same evening. The staff were very attentive and responded quickly to our requests. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious. We recommend staying here.

When we checked in at night, we discovered we had to pay a 4,000-yuan deposit. We hadn't been warned about this, and the information wasn't on Booking.com either. My husband happened to notice that the amount shown on the payment terminal was different: it displayed 15,000 yuan instead of 11,000. When we asked about it, the staff explained that the difference was the deposit, though they couldn't explain why it was 4,000 yuan. Eventually, the male staff member left, and a female staff member told us that if we didn't want to, we didn't have to leave a deposit; instead, we could simply pay for hotel services as we used them—an arrangement that suited us fine. However, the requirement to pay a deposit should be stated on the website, as 4,000 yuan is a significant amount for foreign nationals. Even though the money is refundable, what is a guest supposed to do with it after checking out if they are flying home? We had planned to spend that money during our stay in Beijing. That was a downside.

Hotel’s location is convenient, everywhere is reachable with maximum 20 mins of Didi. The hotel is new, clean and welcoming. The room is spacious and very clean. There is a proper Japanese style Toto toilet which is a big plus in the room. The spa and swimming pool is so clean and well maintained. You need to bring swimming cap for both facilities.

Breakfast was superb - unbelievable amount of choice and it set us up for the day until dinner. Room was excellent, as were the staff who did a brilliant job looking after it each day. Mini-bar was restocked everyday on the deal we had and plenty of water was always provided. Good range of additional places to eat in the Kerry Mall - this is attached to the hotel so makes things really easy if wanting to stay ‘closer to home’, as well as a small supermarket at the end which had a feel of M&S /Waitrose, so good for a few extra supplies for day trips.

Female changing rooms had far smaller sauna, steam room and jacuzzi than the male changing rooms, and no plunge pool.

It’s part of a shopping mall. Not what you expect from a 5 stars hotel.

We choose this hotel as it sells itself as kids friendly. We tried the swimming pool but it’s not inside the hotel and everyone was training like if there is no tomorrow . It was impossible to chill and our 5 years old was bullied away. Then the other announced amenities are also part of the shopping mall besides the hotel. The room is small and in gral aged.

The sofa was useful for me to entertain my beijing guests who visited me. The hotel foyer was big n classy which impressed my beijing friends. The e bidet is upmarket stuff n working well

1 The swimming pool wasnt inside hotel itself. I visied it to take a look n met with a very rude gymn staff who treated me as if i was passerby or gatecrashing. BAD name for Kerry! I ended up not having a swim like i had enjoyed in Yunding hotel at Chongli 2 days earlier 2 The swivel doors at lobby are heavy n outdated for use. 3. The staff who administered my checking in could not speak proper English. I couldnt understand what she said about mini bar in the room

Club access enhanced our 5 night stay as the range of food/drink and service in the lounge was exceptional. The staff throughout the hotel were so helpful especially the concierge desk. The hotel is in a great location in the financial district with lots of restaurants/shops close by. The restaurant and wine bars in the hotel are also very good. The peking duck in the restaurant was amazing. This was our last hotel stop in our 3 week tour of Asia and we definitely saved the best to last.

I was initially torn between this hotel and another Shangri-La property nearby. From the moment I arrived, I was immediately struck by the awe-inspiring vibe of the grand entrance, and the service throughout my stay only reinforced that impression. This is without a doubt a prestigious hotel with first-class hospitality. Though the hotel has been around for years, its amenities are well maintained, and the experience brought back childhood memories of what a classic hotel should feel like. The view of the city skyline from the hotel was an added highlight that enhanced my overall stay. This hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I will definitely be returning.

Nothing needs improvement. If you're looking for that classic hotel vibe—the kind you experienced back in the 2000s or 2010s—this is the place to go.

Room: Spacious and very comfortable. Rooms are well-equipped with a large bed and complimentary minibar. Cleanliness and overall maintenance are excellent. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet offered plenty of choices.

The hotel facilities and location were excellent. However, the guest welcome and check-in experience were not up to the expected standard. The reception staff could have been more warm, attentive, and welcoming upon arrival.

Réception staff was very arrogant and very cold compare other cities I tried in china. The receptionist girl were not professional and always laughing at the réception like constantly. Very weird for an hôtel of this kind..

Such an amazing hotel! I stayed here for 8 nights and had a wonderful experience. The gym and spa are excellent — super clean, modern, and very well equipped. The breakfast is absolutely top-notch, with an incredible variety of options for everyone. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Some employees speak English and some do not, but it’s very easy to communicate using a translation app on your phone. I also loved the café next to the lobby — they serve really great coffee. I will definitely come back to this hotel!

Really liked the location of the hotel and it has a modern, business friendly style to it. Shopping malls and many restaurants are nearby so have lots of options. Easy taxi access too.

Pretty good overall - not much to not like.

Nice clean room. The location is good. The hotel links to other malls via underground walkways, even it’s raining we can still enjoy shopping and yummy food in restaurants.

Отличная локация , вход в тц прямо из гостиницы . Достаточно неплохой завтрак . Отдельно отмечу чистоту в номере и уборку . Так же понравился бассейн . Ребенку бесплатно предоставили дополнительную кровать. Вечером выступал аниматор для детей . Поздравили с др тортиком , очень было приятно . Спасибо . Очень хороший ресторан пекинской утки на выходе из отеля в тц, однозначно рекомендую!

Absolutely exceptional hotel! The room was spacious and the hotel provided additional bed for our son upon request. we also had access to club lounge where the food and drinks were delicious ! massive bonus was the health club with gym, yoga, pool and sauna and hot tub! we enjoyed it every day during our stay!

Very clean and nice room, nice pool free for usage as well. They have arranged for connecting rooms as requested which makes it easier for us as a family of four. There are also complimentary drinks in the bar with beer, soft drinks and fruit juice which are great for us. They have also kindly allowed late check out at 1pm. Location is very near to shopping malls so very convenient to find places for food.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. It had everything that we needed and more. There was a wine bar that had some of the most delicious drops from around the world and there was also a separate cocktail bar with live music on certain evenings. Breakfast buffet was great. The attention to detail by the room cleaners was second to none. All the staff was helpful. Location was convenient to our itinerary and there was a small shopping mall connected directly to the hotel. The gym facility was first-class and there was sauna, spa and pool for relaxation during our stay. The room was very spacious. And last but not least, there was a large sink to wash clothes and clothes line to hang the washing across the bath tub.

The location is near to China World mall, about 5 mins walk and walking distance to 2 subway stations. Pretty much of standard 5 stars hotel in room size, service and facilities. Nothing exceptional.

The breakfast is standard spread but it does not change its menu. Hence it is boring if you stay more 3 nights.
