Great location for walking in central Alesund. Very nice, comfortable room. Little sitting area with 2 comfy chairs. We were there on a Saturday night so could park for free on the street. There a few parking places right near the front door of hotel and we could leave car there overnight. Nice breakfast in lovely breakfast room.

It’s a little walk to the ferries about 15 minutes. But the walk is straightforward and easy.

Location of the Hotel was ideal. Walking distance to everything in Alesund. Room was spacious and clean with a lovely view of the water and the opposite side of town. Breakfast choices and quality were very good.

It is a large hotel with 170 rooms. Breakfast was quite crowded when we stayed in late August. Also breakfast hours of 6:30 to 9:30 contributed to the crowding between 8-9.

Super delicious breakfast with the range of Norwegian fish like salmon and cod. My best breakfast of all times after Eurostar Saragossa hotel.

Exceptional hotel, location right in the harbour at Alesund! Clean, beautiful rooms, great staff and and a banquet laid out as the breakfast buffet. Would certainly go back there again and recommend it to anyone.

The breakfast was good. Nice variety of foods available. Probably the fifth or sixth best we had in Norway.

Part of the reason we chose this hotel was that we needed a parking space. We knew we would arrive late but we did not anticipate this being a problem. When we arrived from the airport, we were told there were no parking spaces. The desk clerk told me if I wanted parking I would "have to arrive at check in time. You can not expect people not to park in spaces. They are home from work and they park here." I have rarely felt the need to explain to a hotel employee that I do not control the time a flight arrives. They have 22 parking spaces and 200 hundred rooms. We found parking in their "alternative lot". My husband, who is not a large person had to climb out the window of the car to get out. It was the last space in their alternative lot. It's not so much that the parking was so bad it's more that the desk clerk was condescending and lectured me on my late arrival time. It was about 9:30, not 2 am. Part of the reason we chose this hotel was the view overlooking the harbor. We overlooked the alley.

Das sehr bescheiden Menü, das an allen Tagen gleich war. Wir haben nur einmal gegessen, weil wir es nicht kannten

Location stupenda, davanti al faro, sul mare, in centro città. Pulizia, camera ampia, vicinanza a tutti i punti di interesse.

Personale non molto empatico, sebbene cortese. La nostra camera era abbastanza buia perché esposta sulla strada stretta dell'ingresso. Tetti camera un pò troppo bassi. Colazione buona, tipica norvegese, con poche opzioni dolci.

Breakfast buffet was the best we’ve encountered in Norway. Staff, especially Anita from front desk is very receptive, friendly and responsive. Location is very good as it’s close to water and a little bit away from cruise ship passengers.

Our bathroom smelled and shower drain was plugged. To give credit to the house keeper, she came to fix the issue right after the phone call!

The town itself is beautiful.

We specifically asked for a twin room with separate beds but did NOT get that. It impacted sleep quality in a bad way all week.

Très bel Hotel design avec une vue incroyable, très bons conseil de la jeune femme qui nous a accueillis, chambre incroyable avec vue sur la mer, bon petit déjeuner, et très bon emplacement.

Posizione straordinaria con vista mozzafiato. Bellissimo lounge bar all'ingresso. La camera è ampia, comoda (prenotata per 3 persone), dotata di bollitore e assortimento di thè, frigo, asse da stiro, asciugacapelli. Sala per la colazione ampia e accogliente, buffet strepitoso!

Parcheggio a pagamento, non comodissimo. La zona intorno è riservata ai residenti quindi bisogna per forza prenotare il parcheggio con l'hotel.

Dopo un botto di soldi a notte non ti omaggiano neanche una bottiglietta d'acqua, frigo vuoto , nessun optional in bagno, personale freddo e servivano a colazione solo caffè americano, niente cappuccino o caffè espresso!! Assurdo

Sehr gute Lage, alles fussläufig zu erreichen in der Stadt und dennoch ruhig. Zimmer mit seitlichem Blick aufs Meer war sehr schön, Bett sehr bequem. Alles sauber und das WLAN sehr schnell. Frühstück ausgezeichnet! Es hatte auch genügend Plätze, da sie die Bar noch öffneten. Personal war sehr freundlich, ausser beim Einchecken- ich mag es nicht, wenn die Dame mit ihrer Kollegin spricht während dem Einchecken - und uns nur so knapp die Zimmerkarten gibt. Sie war nicht unfreundlich, doch finde ich, man ist zu 100% Aufmerksam beim Kunden und nicht am Schwatzen mit der Kollegin.

Parkplatzsituation ist schrecklich! Vor dem Hotel gibt es 4 Parkplätze. Die waren nie frei. Wir waren 2 Tage dort im Juli. Gar nicht gut ist aber, dass es nicht mal einen Parkplatz zum Aussteigen/Koffern abladen hat. Man kann schon kurz direkt auf der Strasse vor dem Hotel parkieren. Aber erlaubt ist das nicht. Das angrenzende Parkhaus war voll und eine Zumutung - so eng! Unglaublich. Es hatte eigentlich noch 4 freie Parkfelder, aber unmöglich, da sein Auto zu parken. Wir fanden dann aber ein anderes Parkhaus. 10 Minuten zu Fuss zum Hotel. Das ist ok. Teuer sind sie sowieso.

Fin utsikt från matsal, bra frukost.

Sehr ruhiges Zimmer,Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral. Abendessen im Restaurant war gut mit sehr schönem Blick auf das Meer.
