Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Rolf è un proprietario molto disponibile e gentile. La stanza era piccola ma comoda e pulita. Asciugamani nuovi e morbidi. Doccia ottima. Cucina (poco usata) attrezzata, spazi comuni molto ampi. La posizione è perfetta, in pieno centro.
Le trapunte separate del letto matrimoniale non si potevano fermare sotto il materasso e quindi si scoprivano i piedi. Ma le abbiamo trovate dappertutto così, perciò è proprio usanza norvegese.

Shared spaces could be a bit cleaner, but nothing major really, this is a very good apartment as far as I'm concerned

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026W Alesund chciałam nocować w secesyjnej kamienicy, ponieważ tylko pobyt w takim obiekcie- z uwagi na historię miasta- ma dla mnie sens. I nie zawiodłam się- wnętrze mieszkania nosi jeszcze ślady charakterystycznego dla Alesund stylu secesyjnego, podobnie jak całą kamienica wraz z subtelnym witrażem na klatce schodowej. Pokój przestronny, łóżko niezwykle wygodne. Mimo że przez białe noce miałam problemy z zaśnięciem spałam na tym łóżku jak dziecko. Za jednym zakrętem muzeum i widokowa część miasta, za drugim zakrętem supermarket czynny 24/h. Bezpieczna okolica dla samotnie podróżującej kobiety. Bardzo miły właściciel, w ciągu kilku sekund odpisywał na wiadomości.

Todo estuvo perfecto, solo por ser muy exquisito, diría q las sábanas no eras muy suaves

Duży plus za dostępne podstawowe kosmetyki, rzeczy przydatne do gotowania (olej, sól, kawa, itp) i mapki miasta i okolicy. Pokój przestronny, z częścią wypoczynkową i lodówką- super! Wszędzie jest blisko, w pobliżu sklepy i przystanki autobusowe oraz przystań promowa. Chciałabym tu jeszcze wrócić!
Przydało by się więcej garnków (jest tylko jeden) i sztućców. Dwie noce były nieprzespane z powodów imprezowych sąsiadów, ale to nie jest wina gospodarza.

Kuchnia w której niczego nie brakowało z wyposażenia. Obawiałam się wspólnej łazienki - zupełnie niepotrzebnie. Nawet nie odczułam, że nie korzystam z niej na wyłączność. Polecam ten obiekt.

Reviewed Nov 29, 2025Der Gastgeber ist super freundlich, das Leben in der „WG“ war super - es wurde auch sehr oft geputzt, sodass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Die Lage ist zentral und wir konnten am Anreisetag ganz unkompliziert unser Gepäck zwischenlagern, bevor das Zimmer bezugsfertig war.
Die Wohnung ist recht hellhörig, unsere Zimmernachbarn waren aber auch alle leise, daher hat es nicht gestört. Bei unserer Bettwäsche waren die Reißverschlüsse kaputt - da dürften gerne mal ein paar neue her.

Perfect location - just few minutes to all important places, close to restaurants, bars, shops etc. Very welcoming and helpful owner, explained us everything after our arrival with some recommendations. We saw the good reviews before, but the place was even better.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2025Relatively close to the loc bus terminal am as well as to two different fjord cruise departure points ( for different fjord cruises lines ). The main shopping areas are close as well. Also, over all the rooms ( meaning the bedroom and the bathroom are large in comparison to other hotel places, however the room is very very basic. The bed comfort was ok however I would suggest that new pillows are purchased. And lastly, I am happy with the responsiveness of the management of this apartment.
Rather narrow and steep stairs /- with no elevator makes it hard to carry luggage upstairs / especially if one has more than one small piece ( 21”) . That information about not having elevator there is „ hidden deep” in the description as posted on bookings. Also, as much as I appreciated having access to washer and dryer - I really didn’t like the fact that it was two floors down / in a dark and rather smelly basement as well as the fact that to get there one has to walk through another occupied apartment to get there. The light in the basement in the are with the washer and dryer js sensor based and it gets spooky at snigger when the lights turn off . And I think it would be a good idea to have English info posted as two what program does what and what bottoms to press and which not to press. The machines are not very intuitive. Lastly, for me personally the entire configuration of this arrangement was weird and not what I am used to . I guess I had a different concept of a „ studio apartment” and I had envisioned it as a part of the main hotel as opposed to a part of house or a student dormitory type of arrangements. Again a that’s me and someone else may be fine with that. Also, the street outside can get loud especially with the pub being almost across. The apartment is not soundproof by any means.

There was nothing to dislike. I travel on my own and on a budget. This suited my needs perfectly

Rolf organises everything brilliantly, so things are always clean, there's loads of space where people can share or be alone as they like. Highly recommended!

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Zentrum von Alesund, die Parkmöglichkeit ist durch ein nahe gelegenes Parkhaus gegeben. Die Räume sind groß. Offensichtlich wurden sie früher geschäftlich genutzt, die Geschäftsräume des Vermieters sind direkt nebenan. Auf die frühere geschäftliche Nutzung weist eine Steckdosenleiste im Zimmer hin, daher ist an Steckdosen zum Laden von Handy, Fotoapparat oder Rasierer kein Mangel. Der Vermieter hat uns freundlich empfangen und ausführlich eingewiesen, später fiel er uns nicht mehr auf.

Everything was just fine, but I think there is some potential for improvement, especially in the shared rooms - some new furniture or a better coffee machine etc. All in all a great option though!

Reviewed Apr 9, 2025The room was quite big and very spacious for two people. The bed was comfortable, and room heater was adequate. Even though the in-room kitchen is small, the common kitchen in the side room is spacious and it was stocked completely. When we arrive, host also came in person and gave a tour around the facilities in stay. Also he gave good tips to roam around the city. It was wonderful and most helpful chat to start the stay. The location is very good and walkable to all places. The supermarket is just opposite, but i would recommend Kiwi and Rema 1000, which are 500meters away. During winter to make the room cozier, we need to close both kitchen and bathroom doors, else the room will not get heated to adequate level.
The property on first floor, we need to climb the stairs with luggage. No lift option. The bathroom floor was ice cold to walk during winter night time.

Reviewed Dec 3, 2024Highly Recommend! I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this apartment. The space was exactly as described, clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped. The location was perfect – close to everything I wanted (center, buss station etc.) and in a quiet neighborhood. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions, dining spots and assist for taxi.
I don't have anything specific that I didn't like.
