Situato vicino al centro e la vista spettacolare dal balcone!!!!

The host had informed me that the room was actually a sunroom (that is fine); however, what made me uncomfortable (and I wasn't aware) was that the room is separated from the living area by a curtain that closes from the living room side. This means total privacy isn't possible: there is always a gap between the curtains, and—crucially—they open from the living room side. The same applies to the door: I couldn't lock myself in because the lock was on the living room side. Furthermore, the host uses the other side of the veranda, so the only thing separating the bed from the shared area is, once again, just a curtain. I want to emphasize that everything turned out fine in the end, but the fact that the curtains and door open from the outside is something that should be clarified beforehand. Finally, there were several hairs on the bedsheets, and the toilet was dirty.

Остались очень довольны пребыванием! Отдельно хочется отметить гостеприимство и доброжелательность хозяина. Комната уютная, чистая и комфортная, в квартире приятная атмосфера. Всё необходимое для проживания было под рукой.. Великолепный вид из балкона, где можно завтракать и наслаждаться видом идущих кораблей. Удобное расположение рядом с центром города. Kjell, спасибо большое за незабываемое пребывание — с удовольствием остановились бы здесь снова!

Great sea view

The place felt a bit more like Couchsurfing than a regular accommodation. The host was almost always in the kitchen or living room, so we didn’t really feel like we had much privacy. My mom was quite uncomfortable when she received a towel that was technically washed, but had noticeable brownish stains on it. There were also some unusual house rules, like having to keep the bathroom light on all the time. Overall, we didn’t feel particularly comfortable there

J'ai pas trouvé la clé de l'appartement malgré les instructions très claires. La réaction de propriétaire de l'app était très rapide, dans 15 min il est venu de travail. Pourtant c'était ma faute. La chambre est belle et propre. La vue extraordinaire sur la mer avec les iles et coucher du soleil nous attendent au balcon du salon. La cuisine est bien équipée. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut aussi dans la salle du bain. En plus il y a la possibilité garder les valises avant et après le séjour, ce qui est très important.

Loved the stay. It is sea facing and such a comforting vibe. The owner Kjell is kind and we chit chatted in the morning at coffee.

Die Kommunination mit Kjell war von Anfang an super. Er hat alle wichtigen Informationen mitgeteilt und auch in der Wohnung war alles beschriftet. Der Schlüssel war einfach zu finden. Die Wohnung liegt zentral, aber ruhig und ist gut zu erreichen. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich und ich habe sehr gut geschlafen. Ein Highlight ist die tolle Aussicht. Wir haben den ganzen Abend auf dem verglasten Balkon gesessen und uns sehr gut unterhalten. Ich bekam Tipps für die Stadt aber auch viele Hintergrundinfos zu Norwegen allg. Kjell ist interessiert und ich fand seine sympathische, ruhige Art sehr angenehm.

房子位置极佳，离机场大巴车站、码头、超市市内租车点都不远，站在阳台上，远处的岛屿、来往的游轮、飞翔的海鸟，平静的海面尽收眼底，美极了！

房子没有电梯，对于拿着沉重的行李箱我们来讲，爬上4楼，真的有点力不从心。尽管房东在我们来的时候帮我们把行李搬上了楼，但退房时，把沉重的箱子拿下来，也是不小的考验

Lovely apartment all around with a fantastic view to the sea from the balcony/living room. The host is very helpful.

無敵海景。屋主正好在下班回來的路上幫我拉行李。還讓我使用洗衣機。會告訴我Aalesund 的景點評價。總之有人可以溝通是很好的。

Heizung im Winter wäre gut gewesen. Mit Klamotten,2 Decken lag ich zitternd ! vor Kälte im Bett. Der (sehr kleine) Radiatior hat auch in 4 Std keine Wärme erzeugt, aber seltsame Geräusche und Geruch (ggf. der Dreck am Gerät). Bad, Waschbecken auch dreckig. Kein Licht im Flur. Weitere 2 Nächte waren unzumutbar so dass ich nach einer Nacht die Flucht ergriffen habe. Der Vermieter hat sich bezgl. der Beschwerde nicht bei Booking.com gemeldet und ich bin auf 2 bezahlten Nächten sitzengeblieben. Die Gemeinde Alesund wurde von mir informiert.

Unfortunately, an unpleasant situation occurred. I would like to clarify that I cannot evaluate the accommodation itself, as I did not have the opportunity to stay there. I booked this property and paid for it immediately. About 10 minutes later, I received a refund, so I was sure that the host had canceled the reservation. Based on that, I immediately booked another accommodation. A few days later, I received a notification from Booking stating that I was no longer able to book accommodation because this property had placed a restriction on my account due to a no-show. I immediately checked all the notifications and realized that, despite the refund, the host was actually expecting me. I sincerely believed that if a refund was issued, the reservation had been canceled. As a result, I was charged a no-show fee. I was willing to pay this fee and expected that we could resolve the situation — I would pay the penalty and the host would remove the restriction. However, the host did not take any action and did not respond. For this reason, I do not recommend this property. In such a situation, the host may simply file a complaint and then stop communicating, without trying to resolve the issue.

Small but clean and tidy room, very comfortable bed. There is everything in this apartment what you need kitchen equipment and towels cause you share that flat with the owner. Kjell is a lovely person who shared his warm and cozy place with us. The dinner which we could enjoy together was seriously great and gave a chance to know the Norway better.

Everything was wonderful. The host is a very calm and friendly person. Kjell treated me to dinner, and I felt as if I had come to visit relatives or a good friend. The room was warm, clean, and cozy. If I come to Ålesund again, I will definitely stay here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Pas vue sur l’océan mais sur le parking

Kjell is a kind and helpful host. The views from the apartment are stunning.

De gastheer is een vriendelijke en behulpzame man, en deelt graag advies en kennis. Het apartement heeft een prachtig uitzicht en alle voorzieningen zijn er om te kunnen koken enz. Het dorp is binnen makkelijke loopafstand, en zeer de moeite waard om te exploreren. De Jugendstil gebouwen van Ålesund zijn wereldberoemd! Vanuit het dorp is het per auto makkelijk om de andere eilanden te bereiken, en er is geen gebrek aan mooie uitzichten en natuur.

Geen klachten. Houd er rekening mee dat het een homestay is, en dat de eigenaar er ook woont. De eigenaar heeft ons echter in alle opzichten gerespecteerd en geaccommodeerd.

Host was very friendly, helped us with the parking place and we had a nice talk. The house was very close to the city center. It was clean and comfortable. The view front the balcony was amazing.

The apartment is very nice, and the host, Kjell, was friendly and accommodating. The real crowning jewel of the place is the covered balcony, with a stunning view on the fjord and the pier! It’s very cosy to sit at the table and watch the sea, and is nice and cool when it gets hot outside. The location is also very good, you can get to the beating heart of Ålesund within 10-15 minutes on foot, which is ideal.

The room was a bit warm but at the high of summer and facing south it’s normal. Staying on the balcony instead of in the room when resting helped with that!
