Ülkeye göre pahalı. Verdiği hizmete göre de pahalı. Personel kendini Paris'teki bir otelde çalışıyor sanıyor. Buna göre davranıyorlar (kibirli ve soğuk). Buna rağmen otel ne çok yeni ne de çok bakımlı ne de bir numarası var (Paris'teki personel de böyle aslında). Kahvaltısı bile saçma sapan bir pahalıydı. Kalmayı düşünüyorsanız kahvaltı filan almayın. Ülke yemek konusunda ünlü zaten. İsteseniz de aç kalamazsınız. Civarda Old Town'a yakın uluslararası standartlardaki birkaç otelden biri olduklarından bu fiyatı ve tutumu sürdürebiliyorlar. Ailenizle ilk defa Vietnam'a gidecekseniz ve diğer otellere güvenemiyorsanız burada kalın. Çünkü Old Town'daki her otelimsi puan yükselttirmek için türlü numaralar çekmişler. Hepsi 10/10 görünüyor ama alakası yok. Burası en azından bu konuda dürüst. Çocukla seyahat etmiyorsanız burada kalmanıza gerek yok. Ayrıca kredi kartınızı depozito için bile vermeyin. Sanal kart kullanın. Adamlardan plaj havlusu aldık ve geri verdik. Aradan 10 gün geçti ve sanki geri vermemişiz gibi havlu ücreti kesmişler. Dikkatli olmazsanız tokatlarlar hiç şakaları yok.

The concierge was very helpful when we were having a problem with booking the flight. Could no solve the problem, but we appreciate his effort.

Staff, amenities, pool... Everything is prepared so guests have a very nice and relaxing stay.

We were required to leave a deposit in case of damage/loss of any furniture or amenities, which was a bit shocking considering this was not requested in any other of the hotels we booked in Vietnam.

The staff were incredibly professional, friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The level of hospitality was truly impressive and made our stay in Hanoi even more enjoyable. A very special mention must go to Chief Concierge Nguyen Trong Tuan, who deserves the highest praise. He was absolutely outstanding — professional, attentive, incredibly kind and always willing to help. His recommendations, assistance and genuine care made us feel extremely well looked after throughout our stay. Nguyen Trong Tuan is a true asset to Meliá Hanoi. We are extremely grateful for the wonderful experience and the exceptional service we received. Meliá Hanoi is definitely a hotel we would recommend without hesitation, and we would be delighted to return in the future.

Nice room. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. We got a very large extra king size bed. Great location. Good breakfast choice. The food at the cafe and chinese restaurant were also really good. Wonderful service. We had a really great stay.

Pool size is a bit small for the size of hotel and the kitchen exhaust was towards the pool.

I would like to express my appreciation for the proactive and helpful service from Ms Thoa and Ms Quynh at the Level Lounge during my stay. Thank you both.

Estar en el Meliá Hanoi es sentirte como en casa. El trato es excepcional y en el desayuno, entre las muchísimas opciones que hay, puedes encontrar tostadas con aceite de oliva u otros toques españoles. La comida vietnamita que sirven es buenísima. El personal es super amable y además está Olatz, esa vasca encantadora que, de repente, viene a saludarte con su enorme sonrisa, pendiente siempre de ayudarte y de hacerte recomendaciones si lo necesitas . Fue un lujo que estuviera allí. Para nosotros, la experiencia en el Meliá fue estupenda.

Absolutely stunning place to stay in centre of Hanoi. Really great place to stay. Very Spacious room, great view, very clean and service was just outstanding. Breakfast was the best of all and I never had such a choice anywhere in past around the world. It was my birthday, so they have got a nice birthday cake for me. The staff are so caring and welcoming is unbelievable. Reception, Concierge staff and restaurant staff are amazing. Great value for money!

A lovely 5-star hotel that feels every bit as grand as you walk in. The bar is lovely and welcoming, offering a great escape from the hectic streets of Hanoi. Breakfast was excellent and had the best choice of all the hotels we stayed at in Vietnam, with a great mix of Asian and European options. The European selection was easily the best of our holiday. The rooms are nice but nothing particularly special, although the beds are huge and incredibly comfortable. The pool is small but very well kept, and the sun loungers are really comfortable. The only slight negative was that drinks ordered around the pool could take a while to arrive. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay — friendly, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. We would highly recommend the Melia Hanoi if you’re staying in the city.

Good options for breakfast. Vietnamese coffee ordered at the drinks bar was good. The location of the hotel was great, walkable to many places and good restaurants/eateries. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Not a lot. If I was being picky I would say the coffee from the machine at breakfast was average. The room came with a clothes steamer rather than an iron. It took me an hour to iron a shirt and trousers...

The hotel amenities are excellent, room staffs are very friendly, warm, and take great care of guests. Ms. Phuong, room staff, is very kind and attentive.

I have been staying at this hotel many times and it is always a pleasure to be back. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around the old quarter. Overall, the service was excellent, and everything met my expectations. Special mentions to Ms. Huyen in the front desk for helping me print my documents, and Ms. Ngoc Anh for being helpful throughout my stay. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Meliá Hanoi and would highly recommend it. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a 10-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and within easy reach of Hanoi’s main attractions, including the famous Train Street. It offers an international atmosphere while still maintaining the warmth and genuine hospitality that Vietnam is known for. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and offered fantastic views over the city. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding service provided by The Level team. Quyah, Huyěn, Huy, Thao, Olatz and Thoa were all incredibly welcoming, professional and attentive, making our entire family feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. Every interaction was warm, thoughtful and delivered with a smile. I would also like to give a special mention to Tu. While every member of The Level team was exceptional, Tu’s ability to speak Spanish made a particularly meaningful difference for my parents. Being able to communicate with them in their native language immediately put them at ease and made an already very special family trip even more memorable. It was a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected the genuine care, kindness and dedication shown by the entire team. Thank you all for making our family trip so special. We look forward to returning to Meliá Hanoi in the future.

Location: Excellent location. It’s not directly next to Hoan Kiem Lake, which I actually prefer since that area can get very crowded and noisy. Instead, the hotel is just a pleasant 5-minute walk away, offering the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Many of Hanoi’s major attractions, restaurants, cafés, and shopping areas are all within easy walking distance. Room: I stayed in a Suite on the 20th floor, and it exceeded my expectations. The room is spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and beautifully maintained. While the interior design leans toward a classic style, it’s truly a case of “old but gold” - timeless, elegant, and full of character. The suite was spotlessly clean, with a separate guest toilet, which was a thoughtful touch. The work desk overlooked Hoan Kiem Lake, making it a wonderful place to work or simply enjoy the city view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had an excellent night’s sleep throughout my stay. Service: The service was outstanding from check-in to check-out. Every member of staff I encountered was warm, professional, attentive, and spoke English very well. A special thank you goes to Ms. An, our room attendant. She kept the room immaculate every single day and consistently went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Whenever we met in the corridor, she would always greet us warmly, ask how our day had been, check whether we needed any assistance, and make sure we were satisfied with the room’s cleanliness. Her genuine care and attention to detail made us feel truly welcomed. Atmosphere: The hotel has a refined and elegant atmosphere that perfectly suits both business and leisure travelers. Despite being located in the heart of Hanoi, the property feels calm and peaceful, providing a relaxing retreat after a busy day exploring the city. The lobby is grand and welcoming, and the overall ambiance reflects the high standards expected from a luxury hotel. Amenities: The facilities are excellent and very well maintained. The executive areas, fitness center, swimming pool, and public spaces are all clean and thoughtfully designed. Everything is organized efficiently, making the stay comfortable and hassle-free. Whether you’re traveling for work or vacation, the hotel offers everything needed for a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Overall: Melia Hanoi delivered an exceptional stay in every aspect: location, comfort, service, atmosphere, and facilities. The outstanding hospitality. Great location about 20 min walk from the busy Old Quarter, which we preferred. Good size room on 21st floor, very comfy bed. Lovely breakfast with plenty of variety for all. Lunch was good too and the bar is relaxing and fabulous for a cocktail before dinner. We didn't have the chance to use the pool but it looked nice. Gym was decent. Staff are friendly although outside greeter was almost forcing us inside as soon as we stepped out of the taxi.

The shower is in the bath which is very high to step in and out of. Would not suit elderly.

Breakfast is very good, a lot of choices. Services OK, not excellent, as I saw twice used/dirty cloth used to wrap up clean forks for new customers, which is annoying. Room sink leak water, not solved for the whole week, no apologies from services either.

Excellent service. Unbeatable location. Clean and quiet rooms. Level lounge service and access really makes trip. Thoa and Quyen and entire Level lounge team are fabulous. The delicious breakfast quick cups of coffee and a cool drink at the end of the day is perfect.

Great business hotel in central Hanoi - a big one, western-style and international standards (i.e., could be anywhere else in the world but the food). If you are in Hanoi for business, and look for a "feel-like-home" place, this is for you because again, once inside it could be in the US or any other western countries. If you are looking for something more local and typical or romantic when visiting Hanoi, then you may be dispppointed. Having said that, huge lobby, lavish and amazing breakfast, large and confy rooms, high tech bathroom.... everything you expect from and international-class hotel. The outdoor swiming pool is a plus! Melia is not really a place with a soul as you get it - but someting highly functional and practical.

The food at the breakfast buffet was amazing. Hotel room clean and nice. Gym well equip and pool a great place to hang out and relax if you want some down time.
