We boekten 3 kamers in zelfde categorie waarvan 1 geen airco had. Matrassen aan de harde kant.

It was clean and good value for money, especially as you can use the Royal Plaza hotel facilities, directly across the road from Villa Toscane. Our request for 2 beds was accommodated and very welcomed thank you. The staff member at reception was welcoming, helpful and very informative. Location was great. It's about a 10min walk from the station and a stones throw from the lake.
The hotel felt dated and in need of a little refurbishment, decorating, new carpet. But it was clean and very good value for money.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Centrally located. Walking distance to train station. Good size bedroom with comfortable bedding. Good ensuite. Very good, cooked breakfast ( we paid for it).
You stay in one hotel ( Villa Toscana) but have to go across the road to another hotel ( Royal Plaza), to check in and check out and for breakfast too. Not much service interaction. Please state if you have any mobility issues as the lift only takes you to your floor. From there, some room are only accessible by 2 flights of stairs (rooms 314-317). The bedroom has no AC but they left us a fan and we opened the windows.

Bathroom was a bit small, room for one. Ten minute walk from train station, close to bus stop; taxi only 13CHF - so doable.

Eingangstüre zum Zimmer hatte einen riesen Spalt. Das Zimmer roch nach einem Desinfektionsmittel welches für beseitigung von Todesgeruch benutzt wird. Die Klimaanlage ist nicht Leistungsfähig. Trotz 16.5Grad auf der Anzeige wurde es im Zimmer nie unter 25 Grad. Für den Preis ist das Hotel eine reine Zumutung. Vom Frühstück möchte ich gar nicht erst beginnen.

Sugeruję innym by zamiast standardowego śniadania podnieść za dodatkową niewielką opłatą ów standard na wyższy lewel. Róznica w zamian jest diametralna na kożyść.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026La chambre est propre et confortable. L’accès à l’espace spa/piscine de l’hôtel d’en face est un gros point positif. La mise à disposition d’une carte de réduction pour visiter des lieux alentours est très appréciée et très pratique.
Le parking n’est pas donné (25 CHF par nuit). Cela peut valoir le coup de chercher un autre lieu de stationnement. La chambre est un peu vieillotte, on était au rez de chaussée avec pas beaucoup de luminosité l’impression d’être un peu dans un sous-sol

Das Zimmer wurde mit Frühstück gebucht-Croissants mit Marmelade-wenn man ein besseres Frühstück haben wollte ging man eine Etage tiefer und bezahlte nochmals 10,00Euro-sehr befremdend!!!!! Das Zimmer hatte bei über 35Grad nur einen Standventilator. Für 190,00 Euro erwartet man schon etwas anders!!!

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026The hotel is centrally located. Few steps and you are by the lake. Very close (10 minutes walk) to the train station. Our room was on 4th floor and there was a balcony and a lake view which we enjoyed a lot. Visitors can use the facilities of the hotel which is across the street which is a very big advantage. We overall enjoyed our stay.
It is on the Main Street. On one hand it is an advantage and you do not need to climb stairs or drive a car. On the other hand noise of cars, trucks, busses can disturb you if you are not used to it and sensitive.

Le prix exorbitant du supplément chien : 49 chf par chien et par nuit! Nous voyageons beaucoup avec nos 2 chiens et jamais nous n'avons dû payer une telle somme ! Les salles de bain (2 pour notre chambre) sont vraiment minuscules et défraîchies. L'éclairage de la chambre n'est pas pratique du tout et une seul côté du lit est équipé d'une table de chevet.

Ho fatto reclamo ( senza alcuna risposta) perché non era presente aria condizionata senza specificare che la stanza era a piano terra ed era consigliato dallo steddo Hotel di non aprire la finestra per gli insetti. Il ventilatore in dotazione non era pulito penso da decenni e la pulizia lasciava a desiderare ( la moquette era maleodorante )

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026La situation géographique (à pieds: 2 min du Lac/ 10 du centre ville) Le très bon petit déjeuner avec vue sur le lac sur la terrasse (NB: le petit dej est à prendre dans l’hôtel partenaire en face de la Villa Toscane. Idem pour le parking et la piscine)
Chambre standart en basement. Pas de Clim (nous le savions au moment de la réservation), mais impossible d’ouvrir la fenêtre étant donné la circulation et le fait que la chambre donne littéralement au niveau de la route. Par ailleurs, de ce fait et probablement par “sécurité”, elle était équipée de barreaux !! Evidemment le site montré plusieurs photos de chambres standards (dont certaines avec une petite vue lac), mais pas celle ci, or il y en a à minima 4 ainsi.
