Lovely and clean, nice and friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Will definitely go back
Amazing, staff extremely friendly, lovely comfortable room loved it
Nothing
It was beautiful view out and the village around it was good it remind of of harry potter which i love .
Wasnt happy as i was a late checkin staff member wasnt very helpful . Breakfast was expanse room was big but a bad misty smell when we arrived room door doesnt close properly when you leave room was very cold could not work the heating . Didnt bother to ask the member of staff as i said wasnt helpful as i said it was a late check in.
Fantastic amenities. The main restaurant was lovely and the spa facilities were first class
Room was ok clean and tidy
Room was very small for the money and only one towel for two of us
Facilities were nice. Wish we had been warned we have to rebook spa facility use if wanting to go between 1-7pm as we could not get in as was fully booked when we arrived
The wedding venue was lovely had a cracking day.
There was only one towel for the two of us had to use the small one for myself. The service at breakfast was poor to say the least it took ages to get served and once we were it was very slow and very rude service. We were sat there a good ten minutes before being acknowledged and god forbid if we requested anything else it was like we were taking their breakfast. Joke to be honest. Must admit brilliant wedding but next time we will not be staying over.
I’ve now visited the last drop village several times, it’s so pretty and quaint and has lots of facilities
The water in our room took a long time to run hot
Good atmosphere, friendly staff, very relaxed, did enjoy our stay
Spa run down, bit tatty, needs a bit of an update.
We got a really good price for an overnight stay with access to the spa, it was bliss. Nothing to complain about.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice.
Room 92 reaks of vomit. At some point someone has vomited of the carpet and it has seeped into the underlay and no amount of airing or deep cleaning is getting rid of it. The carpet needs ripping out and replacing. The smell is so pungent it made us nauseous and had to leave early.
The drop in pub, staff lovely there. Car park right outside of the cottage we were at
1. Excessive wait at the bar We waited approximately 20 minutes at the bar despite there being no other customers waiting. We only wanted two drinks, so this was particularly frustrating and not the level of service I would expect from a hotel of this standard. This was the case ever time we went to the bar. Service is atrocious. 2. Very disappointing massage experience We both booked massages at the same time. My partner had a different therapist, who was lovely, friendly and very professional. Unfortunately, my experience was completely different. My therapist was abrupt and made me feel uncomfortable from the beginning. 3. Problems with lunch at the Clocktower Bar We went for lunch at the Clocktower Bar. My partner ordered salmon and scrambled egg on sourdough bread, but an avocado on toast was brought instead. We explained that this was incorrect, and the meal was taken away with the assurance that it would be corrected. Unfortunately, when it was brought back, they had made exactly the same avocado on toast again. Eventually, after another considerable wait, the correct meal was brought out. To make matters worse, the lady collecting the plates and glasses subsequently dropped them all over the table and floor while one of us was still trying to eat. This was unpleasant and disruptive to the meal. 4. Breakfast was not delivered We were advised by reception to complete the breakfast form, leave it hanging on our door and that it would be collected and our breakfast delivered the following morning. At approximately 10:30am, after our breakfast still had not arrived, I contacted reception to find out what was happening. I was then told that the breakfast form had not even been collected from our door handle. 5. Excessive noise during our paid late checkout Our room was number 91. At approximately 10:00am, there were cleaners/people in the room opposite us.
the lovely village set up with a shop bakery and other shops - it was really great
Some of the sa facilities wasnt available
Everything
Nothing is didn't like
Lovely location tv didnt work roll was ok but quite warm as heating was on and its still summer
The facilities was naff
Lovely village, great spa and nice food
Nothing
Great location and facilities
The setting was lovely, especially the village. We took our dog and the hotel is incredibly dog friendly.
Our room had a lovely small terrace outside, but unfortunately they couldn't find the key for the patio door
Room was fine , Hotel is Old but has been kept in Good Condition, Breakfast was ok , sorry did not use the Spa . Staff were all ok also as i was not in Hotel much only went to Sleep. if in that area and price is ok will stay there.
whatever they have there i dont think they can better as some parts of hotels very old but kept well
Staff where friendly. Grounds were lovely
Dark and gloomy dated rooms. Poor hygiene and cleanliness. Dirty bed linen and sheets. Dirty carpets with multiple stains
Loved the cottage style accommodation and the spa.Breakfast was also lovely.
Nothing
Staff were lovely, and our evening meal at the clocktower was lovely.
The rooms were dated, and where we were there was an awful banging noise that kept happening through the night. The spa was okay, some of the steam rooms were out of order, as it is busy it meant there was not a lot of chance to use them. I don't understand the location of the thermal pool. It's facing a carpark and houses? The breakfast at the clocktower, although what was there was okay for £18.50 per person, there should be more hit food options and cappuccino etc should be included and not an extra £1.45
Such a cosy little escape! I don’t live far from here at all, but it genuinely feels like I’m in a completely different town. The perfect place to switch off and relax
Beautiful venue and lovely surroundings
All the pillows in room 27 were very uncomfortable found it hard to sleep

Beautiful place. Great entertainment in last drop inn
Nothing really but was a bit disappointed the halo therapy room was out of order
Staff very friendly, food was excellent.
Unique village style hotel was very quirky and staff were lovely
Me the wife and a small dog needed somewhere to stay while helping my youngest son replace a bathroom in his new home, this came up near were we needed to be and I'm glad we choice it, there's nice dog walks, bars a coffee shop nice little shops in the village that they have made there, the bonus was the Spa that is included in your stay, had food in the Inn as well as the bar very good, enjoyed it a lot and would defiantly use it again.
Nothing
The room was dirty, blood on bedding, a dead bug in bed, toilet lid had poo/sick on it Bedding also had dirty grey marks possibly from washing machine?
A quirky place which had good facilities, room was spacious and comfy although very dated.
A really noisy property, our room was outside of a noisy bar, noise carried on well passed midnight. We were then woken up at the crack of dawn with traders setting up for a market the next day- with no respect shouting loudly outside of our room well before 8am. Although room was spacious and comfy it was very dated and not the cleanest. Probably wouldn't return based on the noise alone.
Lovely place staff, spa, food, spot on really nice
Everything special mention to staff Roderick Evie Rhys Josh Tracy in the Spa and Cyrus the Virus who served us for breakfast i coulnt believe they have 300 staff members
Just the prices in the restaurant thought a little high
Very nice place
Dated, dirty, not good breakfast
Great location. Good facilities. Good value for money.
No fridge in my room.
Location, so diffident for anywhere we have stayed before. It’s beautiful.
The standard rooms need a bit of an update, but perfectly clean acceptable,
The staff were wonderful, really polite and friendly, very welcoming and helpful.
Upon entering the cottage executive suite we realised it was very basic and dated, with terrible design (tv placement for example) the plug in the sink was broken and the sink was full on arrival unable to be drained. The spa facilities were half broken (thermo ) and the pool was so full there was nowhere to sit and relax. We used 20 minutes of our 2 hr allocation and chose to get out. The food at drop inn was poor with the beef being undercooked and squidgy, veg rock hard, gravy tasteless. Fish was soggy and chips were hard in the middle. Starters and desserts were fine. The advertised entertainment which we waited 2.5hrs for never turned up so we retired back to the room in hopes of relaxing and watching tv. The tv only had 1 working channel and was placed in a place that could hardly be seen from the bed. We ended up listening to the weakest link from afar feeling like a weakest link. Through the night it was freezing and there was no central heating control that we could find and the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable (I woke up with severe back and shoulder pain.) The following morning before check out we went down for breakfast. I ordered the English breakfast with a poached egg. The first time this came out it was stone cold, so much so I dunked my finger in the middle of the beans and it felt like they’d just came out of the tin, no heat whatsoever. I sent this back, and the second breakfast they sent out was microwaved but missing my egg. At this point I gave up and left. I spoke to the Manager (Mia) who was wonderful and absolutely lovely as all members of staff had been (I cannot stress enough how incredible the staff members are, as this was the only point of our stay which I can truly appreciate) and she has assured me that she will be in touch over the next couple of days with some resolution for this. Would I stay at Last drop village again? Sadly not.
Nothing
Staff, manager rude and disrespectful Noisy, smelly, no access to spa, ignored and needs not met!
Everything
Nothing
Staff friendly and welcoming Easy to check-In and Out Room was a good size
Breakfast was expensive at £18.50 if not ordering from hot food menu Room was a little dated
Beautiful setting and location
The barmaid (the older one) I know she’s was working but she could smile more! Everyone else was alright and friendly
Staff were very helpful on reception when booking in as I needed to change rooms as I wanted a room with a bath. Staff were very friendly. I did not use the spa so I cannot comment.
The breakfast was the big disappointment. I had a full breakfast , which when it arrived was virtually cold. The tea was also tepid when delivered. The hash browns overcooked. Not much bacon on the plate. mushroom looked shrivelled I wanted marmalade. there were no jars and the machine for squeezing out the marmalade was either stuck or empty.
The Hotel was very nice the food was outstanding treatment was amazing I was unable to use the pools but they looked great beds were so comfy shower nice and hot
The only thing was there lift was working so the stairs were a bit difficult
All the different elements in site. Brilliant spa!
Limit menus at the food options. Outdated and needs some TLC. 2 of the spa elements were out of order e.g biosauna and salt sauna
Love this place been a few times … this was my mums first time coming it was her birthday , she absolutely loved it. Nice cosy room comfy bed very clean never disappoint.
Great facilities and location.
Comodidad. Instalaciones

We have stayed here before and didn't enjoy our stay. That was a few years ago. This time the stay was really good. The room was cleaner and looked fresher. I was worried when I arrived as they didn't have a room suitable but they managed to find us one.
The wifi was slow. It's free but not a major issue. We didn't get to use the swimming pool this time but I think we will be looking for a longer stay the next time
Nice place, it was a stopover for us while travelling up north. It's a nice hotel, with a swimming pool and spa. The breakfast was lovely. There is a nice garden outside and the bar is open till late. Overall good place for stay. Will definitely recommend.
Unreal hotel and spa my favourite place !
Everything
Everything was spot on
Had many great memories over the years.
Paid for ubers to get there and back have a healthy relaxing break like we always have in the past. To get in gym less than 10 minutes later fire alarm going off we had to stand outside in cold then to be told after an hour wouldn't be open tonight. Then in morning it was still closed for the day. So we paid all that money to sit in our hotel room and we checked out when no leisure facilities available again in the morning our whole reason for going was the facilities. It's a memory I never want to repeat again and staff just stated it's a freebie the facilities so sorry just hard luck for you. But has stated I have had many great moments in the past but thought of going through that again to be told hard luck. Not for me and shame that will be my last memories of that place
Bibury nin en iyi konumunda , kahvaltı çok güzeldi. Akşam yemeği çok güzeldi.
Beautiful place, nice big rooms

To be honest, I was glad to leave. I have stayed at the hotel many years ago and was looking forward to staying once again but it left a lot to be desired.
The room was dreadful. The floor was lifting in the bathroom and did not smell fresh and clean. It was very basic. I stayed in room 79 which was supposed to be a superior room. The toiletries provided were awful and smelt like disinfectant. We thought about eating in the pub but went to have a look before deciding. It did not look inviting and I certainly did not want to eat in there. It was “tacky” We chose to eat in the restaurant and the food at dinner was fair but nothing special but the staff left a lot to be desired. We did not book bed and breakfast, we had room only, but decided to pre-purchase breakfast the night. Quite frankly, we should not have bothered. The staff who showed us to our table was miserable, no pleasantries at all. I don’t think she even smiled. The breakfast came and it was served on cold plates. I ordered porridge first but the staff brought the cooked breakfast first. When I reminded her about the porridge, she brought it but I have never been given porridge after a cooked breakfast. I asked for a latte and was told there was a supplement of £1.35. I did not mind paying the extra but having given my credit card for authorisation during check-in, I assumed that my card would be charged. However, the waiter brought my cold coffee and then pushed the card machine at me for the payment. I find that really unprofessional. I was sat at a breakfast table and it seemed to me that it was more important to get the supplement for the coffee rather than me having an enjoyable experience. It was far from that. The reception staff were pleasant and we received a warm welcome from them but the remainder of the staff need training in customer care and relations. I rang reception when I arrived home to inform them that I had left my phone charger in the room. I spoke to reception who advised me they would ring me back once they had checked with housekeeping. Not surprisingly, they have not rang me. The overall experience was dreadful.
I absolutely loved this stay so nice clean and friendly and so homely!!!!
Loved the bars, swimming pool and outdoor area for the kids to play on. Very family friendly! The kids had a great time. Beds really comfortable.
No air in the rooms whilst it was warm weather, needed to be able to open the windows better or some air con would of been nice.
The room was lovely and clean but hard to locate, the signage was a bit vague. The hotel and grounds are lovely.
Disappointed to see the view from the spa has gone
Staff always happy to help with a smile. Nice rooms - simple but clean and comfy; lovely spa and reasonable sized pool. Very kindly was offered a discounted breakfast rate as I was paying for 6 people.
Ate in the clocktower restaurant. Food was not up to expectations. eg Waiter explained duck would be cooked pink (which is great) but then came overcooked. Waiter mis-entered the pudding order, it was rectified but just a bit disappointed.
Location
Changing rooms at spa dated Not all spa facilities were working Breakfast limited and service slow
The bed was comfortable
The room was dirty smelt of sick
Was in the more dated side of the hotel but was still lvery clean and comfortable. Restaurant, With a child with ADHD he knocked a, drink over, had a meltdown, was very over stimulated but the bar staff and waiters were lovely and understanding.
Although I understand for adults wanting to relax and it is quite hot, my kids really really wanted to try the infinity pool, maybe have a set time for an hour with a warning for parents/carers to check temperature for them first.
My husband enjoyed the spa and pool, using them in the early hours of opening before we went out for the day and late in the evening on our return. The room and facilities were clean and tidy and although busy and the gym and pool popular with local residents it was still accessible for my husband to use.
I previously advised the hotel of my limited mobility, due to illness and they suggested a different room and I did emphasis my limitations and was assured everything would be fine in a ground floor room. On arrival a slightly disinterested person gave me vague directions to the room and agreed where we were parked was the nearest to the room. I am severely asthmatic and the room was, for me, too far a distance and on a slope. My husband found another entrance and nearer car park, so that we made it work for me. The twin beds were too narrow and uncomfortable and the pillows were the same. The alternative bedroom did not appear as good as the pictures of the one I had booked. Corridors, carpets and decor need modernising.
Everything
Nothing everything fantastic
Everything from the warm welcome to the spacious bedroom. Beautiful food , and a fabulous village spa with an affinity pool
Luke warm white wine at the Drop inn :(
Great location and comfortable beds. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Food in the restaurant and bar is delicious. Spa facilities nice and treatments in the spa were great. The little shopping street and pub are great and well worth a visit.
The view from the pool needs some shrubs or trees to hide the car park and neighbouring properties. Some of the carpets need cleaning. A children’s play area would be good too.
The breakfast was excellent. Makes a change to be served.
Nothing
Friendly Staff and comfy bed, beautiful location.
Stained carpets throughout the hotel, dirty shower/bath, breakfast was just ok- given small amount of sauce, one of anything e.g one sausage and one rasher of bacon.
All good
Gorgeous location, really well kept and spa facilities were great!
My room wasn’t cleaned and we were there for 3 nights but the hotel was packed due to the Ironman so for the quality of room and service it out weighed not having the room cleaned.
Location was quiet, perfect place for long walks
Staff were rude, unprofessional and poorly trained, not equipped to manage issues and complaints, not empathetic or helpful. The service was non existent when requested. The rooms were dusty and dirty, pillows and mattresses stained yellow. The manager was dishonest and had a bad attitude. I’ve stayed here before many times but will not be coming back. Staff are all barely out of school and have no experience or knowledge of hospitality. This used to be a really nice place, sad that it’s now become a hang out for 17 year olds. The hotel is run down and dirty, need serious cleaning and renovations. The housekeeping staff were loud and the cleaning products they were using stank of dirty dish water when walking past the rooms whilst cleaning.
Nice semi rural location
Bath grimy, told staff no difference. Heated towel rail didn’t work. Requested bath mat Monday, received it Saturday. Qty of amenities and towels for 3 never delivered automatically without request. NO guest laundry despite what website says.
Staff very friendly and helpful very clean and great location
Maybe the price for 1 adult was the same for a couple
Everything
Nothing
The spa facilities and the village was great
The bed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on in my life and we have stayed in a lot. The room was dated and smaller than expected.
Location and good spa facilities
Ire from window was of a wall lots of banging doors during the night along the corridor
The restaurant, the pud,the spa and the nun 10 room. I love it the old still design and the retro atmosphere 😍
Maybe the fact we have to ash for extra shower gel
Big rooms with a bath
Nothing we lived everything
Lovely staff, beautiful hotel, fabulous spa.
Nothing
Food in pub was lovely and lovely breakfast great location
Due to a fire in the spa which closed it do we couldn’t get into the spa till after 3pm which ruined plans but we always have a lovely time when we stay
Location & pool
Silly money upfront system ……made checking in/out overly complicated & slow …..very poor!!
Nothing
The staff and it was so noisy
I had stayed before and it was OK but my experience this time meant I wouldn’t stay again
The staff and noise
Location was perfect for our quick one night stay to visit family in the area. Room was spacious and bathroom was large and modern
Due to having international phones we were unable to request an early check-in. Arrived at 1:00 p.m. for a 3:00 p.m. check-in, room was not available and staff did not offer to store our bags or offer the use of the facilities while we waited. We had to leave our bags in our hot car all afternoon while we visited family. When we checked in we confirmed the time the pool was open until but was not informed that they stopped admitting one hour before closing and we were refused entry to the pool 55 minutes before closing. This was extremely disappointing after a long day of travel, visiting family. We were really looking forward to having a swim, a little relaxation before settling in for the night.
Staff really polite, helpful & accommodating & the venue really worked for a large family get together - all the different ages could do what & when they pleased with all the on site amenities
Nothing
Mysigt område, fin utemiljö och trevlig rum.
Personalen kunde vara lite trevligare, kostar inte så mycket att säga hej.
Great brteakfast and good value for money
Clean rooms, friendly staff, great environment.
Double bed was on the small side for a couple. Check out time of 11am was unusual. 12pm usual check out time in all hotels I have been.
Nothing
Everything. Staff was horrible, unprofessional.
We have stayed a few times now. Staff are polite, rooms are great especially the dog accessible courtyard rooms, location is great... especially for dog walking and the spa is a nice bonus relax after being tired out by the dogs! Would definitely recommend, great value for money.
De ligging van het hotel en zwembad facilliteiten waren super! Prijs was goed.
Hygiëne van de kamer kon beter en bij inchecken geen uitleg over het hotel etc.
I have stayed in this hotel many times and always love my stay here. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely with all facilities working well. The spa facilities are lovely. There are three restaurants to eat in and all have lovely staff and delicious food. The village of shops is always a pleasure to walk round giving a really lovely relaxed feel to the stay.
Nothing
Lovely area, love act in the drop in was amazing
Disappointed in breakfast - items were undercooked
Nothing
The room was filthy and massively outdated stains in the carpets and curtains... the bath tub with other people's hair and stains in and staff that Frankley wasn't to fussed. We did try to find alternative accommodation but couldn't because of our late check in
