Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Die Lage war sehr gut. Das Frühstück war auch gut, die Dame beim Frühstück war wirklich super nett.
Teilweise wirklich sehr extrem klein, sodass wir ein Doppelzimmer tauschen mussten, da mein Freund (mit 1,84cm) wenn er im Bett lag mit den Füßen direkt an die Wand gestoßen ist. Und das Zimmer für ein Doppelzimmer keinerlei Platz geboten hat um das Gepäck unterzubringen. (Das zweite Zimmer war dann aber gut) Und bei unserem noch gebuchten Einzelzimmer war das Bad leider viel zu klein.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026The property front was clean and welcoming, and the hotel as a whole was generally clean and the lobby/bar was a lovely area to hang out.
The room we had (2 queen 2 twin (upstairs)) was quite tight to move around in and was extremely warm most of the day, we had on 2 rotating AC fans that didn’t really do much and could only open the balcony door slightly due to undetectable safety chain. The bathroom was also very small and the shower itself was hard to move around in. Not enough ventilation for such a small room. Lastly getting to the room with our stroller and luggage was tough with smaller elevators and tiny corridors and only stairway to our room. So not really suitable for a family which was supposed to be a selling point at this property.

Room was very small and the bed was uncomfortable. Windows were not properly sealed, so it was cold even when window was closed. There is only one power outlet,which was barely accessible behind the table.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Me gustó mucho la ubicación del hotel, así como la amabilidad del personal y su predisposición en todo momento. También me pareció un detalle muy positivo que la habitación contara con ventilador. El baño era bastante amplio, a excepción de la zona del lavabo. Además, había solicitado una habitación amplia porque viajaba con un carrito de bebé y tuvieron el detalle de asignarme una habitación con un pequeño pasillo donde podía dejarlo cómodamente sin que molestara. Esto fue muy práctico y lo agradecí mucho. En resumidas cuentas, si vais a viajar a Londres con un bebé, me parece una opción bastante recomendable, ya que para mí tiene más pros que contras. Eso sí, recomendaría pedir una habitación en planta baja, sobre todo si vais con carrito. En nuestro caso, para llegar a la habitación había algunos pasillos bastante estrechos que con el carro resultaban un poco complicados, aunque se podía acceder sin problema. Si el precio os encaja, creo que es un hotel que puede venir muy bien para viajar con un bebé a Londres, especialmente por su ubicación, la amabilidad del personal y la posibilidad de solicitar una habitación amplia.
Lo que menos me gustó fue la cama, ya que dependiendo de la zona se notaban bastante los muelles y no resultaba del todo cómoda. También se escuchaba mucho el suelo al caminar, algo que entiendo que puede estar relacionado con que el edificio es antiguo, pero que se hacía notar bastante. Por último, el lavabo me resultó bastante incómodo: era muy difícil lavarse la cara correctamente debido a su diseño y espacio.

No extractor fan in bathroom. No air con unit. TV reception nil. Wifi kept dropping out on the 4th floor where we were staying.

Do acesso ao hotel, para chegar a recepção, você tem que subir uma escada ingreme e estreita, com as malas, não houve ajuda de ninguém da recepção. Um dos recepcionistas falava um inglês muito ruim e muito rapido, e não gostava quando você não entendia.

The room was small, as is the case in many of these types of hotels in London, so that wasn't really unexpected. Mattress was terrible unfortunately. I had a neck and back ache all weekend and still have it. That's my main gripe. Also, I would recommend leaving instructions for the safe. It's not straightforward.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood in the Paddington area, just about a 5-minute walk from Hyde Park and literally only 3 minutes on foot from the Paddington train and tube station. The building is very beautiful from the outside, and the hotel staff are extremely friendly and always willing to assist, serve and accommodate guests.
The rooms are quite small and do not have a mini-fridge. However, since we visited London in August and having some cold water during the day was very important to us, the staff kindly offered to keep our bottles in the refrigerator at the reception desk overnight. The room does not have air conditioning, but there is a fan available.

Hiukan rauhaton huone kadun puolella. Myös sänky oli aika kova, vaikka muuten ok.

Das komplette Hotel. Das Hotel ist komplett herunter gewirtschaftet. Die Zimmer sind extrem klein und größtenteils kaputt. Unebene Böden, defekte Badabsaugungen, 1,40 Betten für 2 Personen, Aufzüge bei denen man Angst bekommt und unser Höhepunkt: Feueralarm wegen zu heißem Duschen (warum wir morgens um 7 dafür unser Zimmer verlassen haben, hat beim Personal niemand verstanden)

Me hospedo nele há mais de 11 anos e essa foi a quinta vez. E claro! Eu amo essa localização. Adoro a Craven Road. E estar do lado da Paddington Station e como estar com Londres nas suas mãos.
Tudo foi perfeito.

Sehr verwinkelt (altes Gebäude), es war sehr warm im Zimmer (es gab keine Klimaanlage, dafür 2 Ventilatoren, was wieder ein wenig wett gemacht hat).

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Jeg hadde bestilt et dobbeltrom med to enkeltsenger,.når vi kom frem tidligere på dagen og meldte vår ankomst så var de ikke sikre på om de hadde et sånt rom til oss, men de kunne se på sin pc at vi hadde to rom. Jeg hadde på forhånd betalt for rommet å de ga oss to enkle rom istedet uten noe ekstra kostnad. Det var kort vei fra Paddington Underground til hotellet, gangavstand til det meste så sant man liker å gå, ca 20 min gangavstand til Notting Hill, 5 min til underground, vi gikk også på 20 min til Oxford Street. Ellers var tilgangen på underground sånn oppsatt at vi kom oss dit vi ville. Vi valgte Victoria line fra og til Flyplassen. Hotellet var åpent 24/7. De lagrer bagasjen for 5 pund før innsjekk ved behov og etter utsjekk ved behov. Vi hadde ikke frokost. Valgte heller å kjøpe det under gåturene. Rent å pent, fint inngangsparti. Blide og god service på personalet som tok imot oss. De ga oss frukt og drops imens vi ventet på å få scannet pass. Vi hadde til og med kjøletårn på hvert rom hvis vi heller ville bruke det enn å ha åpent vindu. Stille å godt på nettene i området.
Vær oppmerksom på meget harde senger.

Zimmer viel zu klein für 2 Personen und Gepäck. Man konnte sich kaum drehen. Sehr verlebt, Wände schmutzig und das Bad veraltet, Eingangsschloss beschädigt. Frühstück einfach, die Bar frühzeitig geschlossen. Der Hotelname trügt.

Sehr warme Zimmer, defekte Fenster. Wir haben einen Deposit von 50 Pfund hinterlegen müssen, was ich übertrieben fand. Gepäckaufbewahrung kostete auch nochmal Geld.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου εξαιρετική, πολύ κοντά στα ΜΜΜ. Η καθαριότητα του δωματίου πολύ καλή. Το προσωπικό της ρεσεψιόν ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Δεν αντιμετωπίσαμε κανένα πρόβλημα στην διαμονή μας εκεί.
Κατά τις μέρες της διαμονής μας ο καιρός ήταν υγρός και σχετικά ζεστός. Το δωμάτιο είχε μπαλκονόπορτα και διέθετε τρεις ανεμιστήρες που δημιουργούσαν καλή θερμοκρασία. Στα πλαίσια πρότασης βελτίωσης θα ήταν η τοποθέτηση κάποιου συστήματος ψύξης για τις ζεστές ημέρες.

Je moet niet te veel verwachten qua luxe. Het is basic en beetje klein. De wastafel mag echt anders, niet te doen het tandenpoetsen daar. Nachtlampje had ook fijn geweest.

The staff. Male staff watched my friend and I struggle with bags after being delayed for7 hours. Which was shared with the staff but yet they did not make an attempt to help us up the stairs to the entrance to check in. Rooms are extremely small. Hotel is not maintained. This is not a comfort stay but for anyone trying to view London for a very short stay.

Non ci sono prese elettriche vicino al letto, per ricaricare telefoni e altri devices non è molto pratico. Letto matrimoniale piccolo, passaggio strettissimo per ingresso in bagno. Non c’è l’aria condizionata ma forniscono un ventilatore, più che sufficiente per la dimensione della stanza.

Le lit car on sentait les ressorts. L'espace de la chambre qui est très petite pour 3 personnes. De plusbla chambre n'est pas insonorisé parceque l'on entendais les personnes des autres chambres.

Zeer teleurstellend hotel. Wij verbleven hier 5 dagen en het was absoluut niet wat ons online werd voorgespiegeld. De douche was vies, de bedden oud en verre van fris en het hotel was ontzettend gehorig. Geen koelkast, geen airco en zelfs geen fatsoenlijk stopcontact om onze telefoons op te laden. We waren met z’n drieën en moesten zelf van alles regelen en erachteraan blijven gaan. Online worden voorzieningen als beschikbaar aangegeven, maar bij aankomst blijkt daar weinig van te kloppen. Voor de prijs die je betaalt, mag je toch wel iets meer verwachten. Het personeel was vriendelijk, maar dat maakt de rest helaas niet goed. Voor ons absoluut geen aanrader.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Very close to Paddington station, Hyde Park and Kensington Park, can walk to Notting Hill etc. Simple tea and coffee in room. Had an issue with our room and staff assisted to move us which we appreciated.
Very small rooms and unable to lay luggage flat without having to climb over bags to get around room, no aircon so had a plug in fan and aircon to wall - we were there on 20 degree days and still hot at night with window open also. Would not be comfortable in a heat wave. Very small shower, would not be easy to enter for a bigger person. But we understand this is likely the standard for location and old building.

The beds, the hotel windows, the cleanliness, the sheets, and the towels were filthy—it was a terrible hotel. We had a terrible night. There were holes in the ceiling of the room, which worried us; I was staying with my family, and we had no choice but to stay there. The hotel window wouldn't close, so we didn't feel safe at all—we were constantly on edge. At the crack of dawn, people were talking and making a huge racket right outside the window; because the window frame wasn't secure, all the noise came straight inside. It was a terrible night—absolutely terrible.

La habitación pequeña, el colchón incómodo ( demasiado blando ), un lavabo ridículo. Querían cobrarnos 5 libras por dejar las maletas 2 o 3 horas. Protestamos y al final no nos cobraron.

We stayed during a heatwave and had no air conditioning with no fan in the bathroom which made it really uncomfortable. Staff gave us an extra fan but only had one socket not ideal for a family

la stanza è piccola e priva di condizionatore, le stanze piu grandi danno invece su una strada molto trafficata e senza condizionatore bisogna tenere aperta la finestra... la colazione molto scarsa e con roba tutta confezionata. pulizia dell'hotel scadete così come i mobili e l'aspetto generale

Nous avions choisi cet hôtel car il était climatisé or nous avions à notre disposition 2 colonnes rafraîchissantes bruyantes et 2 ventilateurs. Nous avions uniquement une triple prises pour tout brancher.

Tutto tranne la posizione. Letti scomodi, camere piccole ma piccole che nemmeno c’erano due comodini in un letto per due. Che poi, letto per due.. era una piazza e mezza, messo pure chissà quali cose ma sicuramente non avevano doghe o molle. Una scomodità assurda! Armadio che nemmeno si apriva dato che davanti c’era un misero tavolino che nascondeva L’UNICA presa della camera, nemmeno in bagno c’era. La doccia poi così piccola che per entrarci dovevamo metterci di lato e trattenere il fiato. Infine niente aria condizionata. Londra, siamo nel 2026 con il riscaldamento climatico, l’aria condizionata è ESSENZIALE. Ah ma lo sapete bene no, dato che nella hall invece l’aria era sparata al massimo?? Pulito il minimo indispensabile anche se a volte era anche troppo, tipo il ricambio delle asciugamani ogni giorno assolutamente uno spreco e non necessario. Per il resto mura scrostate, battiscopa staccato con anche chiodi in bella vista e pericolosi. Ho 31 anni e viaggio da 30, l’hotel più brutto della mia vita.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Man skal betale 50 pund i dispotium ved andkomst selvom værelset var foudbetalt. Dobeltværelset var meget lille ca 5 kvadratmeter. Intet vindue der kunne åbnes lå i stueetagen . Temperatur var ca 30grader om natten. Selvom temperatur kun va 18 grader udenfor, så man fik slet ikke sovet

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026El hotel está muy bien situado, al lado de Hyde Park y de la estación de metro y de tren de Paddington. Hay muchos pubs y restaurantes cerca donde comer y el ambiente del barrio es muy bueno. El personal del hotel muy amable.
Pedí una habitación con cama de matrimonio, y otra con dos camas para mis hijos. La de los niños era aceptable, aunque el baño muy pequeño. La de matrimonio era una caja de cerillas, no cabían ni las maletas, era el espacio justo para la cama. Protesté y nos dieron un un poco más grande, y más cómoda, aunque son habitaciones pequeñas. El desayuno bien, el personal muy amable y dispuesto a hacer los huevos revueltos sin mantequilla. El fallo que tuvimos, fue no mirar si había aire acondiconado. Si vas en verano, es importante mirarlo. hace mucho calor. Nos pusieron ventiladores, que por la noche como baja la temperatura ayudaban a refrescar la habitación.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Das Hotel besticht durch seine Lage mitten in Paddington. Man ist schnell am Picadilly Circus und mitten im Geschehen. Es ist allerdings schon etwas älter. Das merkt man an den Zimmern z.B. sehen die Wände nicht mehr so frisch aus. Unsere waren aber in Ordnung. Nicht dreckig, nur das Bett schon etwas durchgelegen. Generell ist es eine ganz gute Unterkunft, wenn man nicht zu hohe Ansprüche hat.

Problemlose Anreise von Heathrow mit dem Heathrow-Express oder der Elisabethline - beide in fußläufiger Entfernung von 5 bis 10 Minuten. Hotel war sauber, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte Probleme mit dem Safe, von der Rezeption wurde umgehend jemand geschickt. Zimmer klein und einfach ausgestattet, aber Preis-Leistung für London aufgrund der zentralen Lage für mich in Ordnung. Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen. Frühstück hatten wir keines, so dass ich dazu nichts sagen kann. In der Nähe gab es eine kleine Bäckerei mit leckeren Croissants und Kaffee.
Eigentlich gab es nichts zu bemängeln.
