The hotel was very nice , clean and very nice location

The spa was broken and according to a local lady in the swimming pool the steam and sauna rooms had been broken all summer. The first nights buffet was good we had a choice of pork or chicken and ham pie and all the usual other dishes unfortunately the second nights dinner choices were the same , it would have been great to have a change . I selected this hotel as I was on a course in Camberley but wanted a spa experience for my wife during the three days I was busy and for me in the evenings, I was extremely disappointed and annoyed all that was open was the swimming pool, the hotel should never have offered a spa they knew wasn’t working at the time of my booking, I travelled to and from my course 13 miles and anything up to 40 minutes travelling time to enjoy your hotel. Very disappointed is the cleanest way of voicing my frustration as a company you should have been honest with me about the booking.

I felt at home it was much more homely than a Travelodge

Someone entered my room at 0830 on checkout day , presumably a cleaner, I was asleep. Not really a problem for me but might be for some people.

I have stay at hotel before, this room was very noisy, from fan outside and next water disposal going off at 5am. As got back late from working was going to eat in hotel and advised food had all gone.

Everything! The room was little more than a closet the bath was half size suitable for a dog. There was no shower my wife smashed her leg on the dressing table as ther wasn't sufficient room to move around the bed leaving a nasty bruise. I have been charged twice for one of the rooms and nearly week later still not been sorted. I had paid during the online check in for 2 rooms and opted for early check in on arrival the staff was reluctant to let us to room as it was 1pm and not 3pm despite me explaining I had paid extra for early checkin. Once that was sorted they said I had to pay again despite me showing my bank statement. He pressed soem buttons and said oh money has arrived when in fact he just debited my account again without my permission. Im still £149 out of pocket.

The whole building needs redecorating and modernising.

The 2 mattresses were uncomfortable especially the gap between the two mattresses. The 2 headboards were of different height It was difficult to flash the toilet the water in the cistern had no pressure The room had an uncomfortable odour

The room was very comfortable lovely and clean. The tea tray was topped up on request at reception, I was thirsty so pleased! Really very good value. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was great to be able to relax about having my dog with me, theres a small woodland next to the hotel - perfect :)

The pool was shut for maintenance. I know this is bound to happen at some point, but I had considered a dip.

Not a bad hotel for the price however, reminents of the immigrants that stayed there was apparent slashes in the faux leather (previously a migrant hotel). The staff failed to top up the tea and coffee daily, which is not what was expected.

When we arrived there were hairs by the basin in the bathroom, there was a used dental floss stick on the bathroom floor and there were hairs in the bedding. We made the staff at reception aware and they asked us if we wanted to move, but after a 3 hour journey and having unpacked, I didn't have the energy and assumed it would have been cleaned by the same staff anyway. My trust in their cleanliness had gone. The tea cup had a tea spill down the side, it looked like it had just been quickly rinsed out. The floors were dirty and walking back from the shower, my feet were covered in bits of dirt and dust! I slept on top of the bed, rather than in it. We didn't stay for breakfast as the place was just disgusting.

Staff where rude, facilities where not working and room had many things that needed sorting by the maintenance man.

The TV was on drawers, so could not be watch in bed. The matter was uncomfortable. There was no chair for the dressing table. The shower head kept coming out when using.

Man at reception was the rudest I've ever met, tv didn't work, hazard tape around the tiles in the bathroom and refused to move are room to another because they were fully booked (they weren't) and after about half an hour of our lifes wasted they moved us to a smaller room nice not!!!!! ,do your self a favour sleep in the car

Upon checking in there was confusion on who we were. The room is very poor and dirty. Brocken taps , corroded pipes. Dirty floors None helpful staff

We booked this hotel specifically for the swimming pool. However, upon arrival there was a sign telling us the pool was closed. After enquiring we were told the pool would be out of action for at least a month and had been for a while already. At no stage during booking or paying were we told the pool was closed. We only booked three days before travel and if we had known we would have stayed elsewhere.

The staff were friendly polite and courteous. When issues were raised, they were dealt with as soon as possible.

Having to book room service 24 hours before required and this was not highlighted at check in. They ran out of beans and tinned tomatoes at breakfast. The hotel is in need of some TLC. The food in the restaurant was poor quality and definitely not worth the price charged. The key card for the room stopped working before check out time advertised. The shower pressure kept dropping.

The location was good that is about it really.

The room was terrible, no shower just a plunge bath. The room was tired, not cleaned/refreshed during our stay. We arrived early, which i did inform them of but wanted to charge for early checkin. No blinds in the bathroom. We asked to be moved but were told it was full, we knew otherwise.

Old tired and run down over priced window wouldn’t open I only booked it cause it had a pool, and it was broken!!! Brambles in the gardens so over grown breakfast was cold and dried up

For the price, more than pleased with this stay. Just me and my wife needing only a single night to attend a wedding in the area and it more than sufficed. The hotel was a little dated, the room was more than fine however with a renovated bathroom so that helped. Staff were perfect but only needed to check us in quickly.

The price matches the stay so nothing much to report here. It was typically cheaper a hotel in the area than any other so we did not arrive expecting some 4-5 star abode... nor should you if booking a stay here. It is fine, but not modern or luxury.

The pool was closed which we were not mafe aware of and was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. Understand it was a hot day but the room was a sauna! they did provide 2 fans but they where about as good as a warm fridge, couldnt offer us sny more fans which is fine but the receptionist didnt seem to care about our comfort in the slightest. Regarding the pool closure we were told to just contact the third party (booking.com) as she stated they had been told but they didnt display it or make any attempt to notify us of this even after emailing the hotel to make them aware we where travling with a 2 year old, noone mentioned about the pool being closed i feel this is somthing that should be stated to people booking especially from third party when not going through their website, as i feel this is a strong selling point for the hotel and would determin wether someone books or not!?

Lovely little room, nice and clean. Air conditioned downstairs, good bar.

No shower in bathroom, only a half bath. No soap or things in bathroom.

The room was stifling , no air con working , breakfast was inedible.

For what we paid for the night with breakfast you couldn't fault it, our only issue which was no fault of the hotel as it had been a very hot day and night the room was extremely hot. There was 2 fans in our room which help. The swimming pool was closed which was a little disappointing but didn't spoil our stay, this is our second visit and will definitely be returning.

Was only able to book a budget room as short notice booking as no other rooms available. Thought it would be a small double but no it was a small double with no window in room!!!! Was so hot. Had a fan to circulate hot air in this weather! A wedding was going on so restaurant wasnt open as dont do food if an event. Bar menu otherwise in our room or bar which was full of wedding guests. Had to go to a local pub instead. Pool was shut for maintenance.

We like the staff at points in time and we liked the bed, some parts of the location and the property has massive potential but needs work. Overall so wonderful I just wish more care was taken.

We didn’t like: - the staff stare at you while you eat or do anything - the aircon not working in a heatwave but not notice about it given - the fans given as an alternative without word were so filthy and covered in dust I had a full blown allergic reaction (see photo of dust I tried to wipe off with a tissue but it was still so much trapped on the fan cover) - the shower head being so filled with limescale it was hard to turn the feature setting and it was like I was being washed with sandpaper - the fire alarm went off at 3am and no one apologised then or in the morning either - the food was not made with care, the custard was so watered down it wasn’t custard anymore

This is a lovely friendly hotel and they let you bring your dogs. Well placed for walks by canal at colt hill odiham

Shabby rooms, looked like they haven’t been updated in 30 years. Broken A/C, paint peeling from walls, very weak shower

Staff attitude towards guests, food menu was rubbish, hard pillows , no spa facilities even though booking.com never mentioned closed pool , cleaners not in uniform working with no shoes on 🤢, room plug sockets left out see pic, room was too hot and stuffie my wife was sick , just shocking experience all round never will come back here

Absolutely awful hotel with no atmosphere , pool closed for maintenance with no warning before arrival. Grounds unkempt with brambles through bedding areas. Not greeted on arrival , when I went down for dinner and breakfast. Food at dinner was only a carvery, which was awful seasonal vegtables were carrots only! Breakfast was not much better. Fruit options were tinned and left out too long. Asked for poached eggs and bacon which were dumped on a plate. Bacon underdone and floating in water from poached eggs. Could not eat it. Felt unsafe at night and bedroom tired and awful carpet. As travelling sole female this was worrying. Bathroom rusty plugs, radiator and very old. Shower was not fitted correctly so sprayed everywhere. Looks like the whole place is ready to close down.

The rooms were tired, the beds standard but very firm matresses and pillows. Service wasn't great.

It was easy to find, plenty of parking and easy to check in, staff very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble, the hotel also had hydration stations to fill water bottles

It was close to the road so the rooms at the front have a lot of traffic noise and with no air conditioning in the rooms sleeping with windows open was difficult because of the noise, on a plus side the hotel did provide fans for the rooms, outside areas let the inside of the hotel down looking scruffy they need to store rubbish waste out of view, and as usual with a hotel booked with booking.com the pool was out of commission

Our room was clean and comfortable. It had plenty of refreshments and plenty of room for us and our dog. The staff were friendly and helpful.

A bar area that was for adults only would be nice.

Allocated different room than booked. No air con, hence unbearably hot. At time of staying, a week ago, there was no access to the swimming pool due to maintenance. Avoid room 402 as it is located next to an all night noisy vent. That and the heat is equal NO sleep. Peeling paint in small bathroom.

Leider laut, durch Aircondition Gerät neben dem Fenster. Das Zimmer heizte sich sehr auf durch die Sonne wodurch ich den Ventilator einschalten musste was wiederum laut war. Die Aussicht meines Fensters war leider auch nicht besser: ein sehr ungepflegter Balkon, übersäht mit Müll. Das Personal war teilweise bemüht, teilweise sehr unfreundlich. Alles ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen von der Bar-Karte war super enttäuschend - Fertigprodukte, die keinen Geschmack hatten. Wir haben unser gebuchtes und bezahltes Frühstück dort geskippt.

What an awful experience. We booked this hotel out of several options because it had a pool. However on arrival we were told it was closed due to a burst water main. We were also told that our room would be 'very hot' (as it was in the attic). We went there, and it was over 30 degrees, which isn't safe for sleeping in, so we couldn't stay and had to go home. No offer of a discount let alone a refund. We were told if we applied for one it would be refused. You'd have thought if they had a fault like this making the hotel unsafe then I insurance would cover it. But there seemed to be no interest in our safety. Avoid at all costs

The staff were lovely. The location was perfect for what we needed. The bed was very comfy and the room was quiet and clean. Free car parking. Hydration stand in reception. Fan in the room.

The hotel rooms are a little tired looking but the room rate reflected this fairly.

I sadly had no window in the room, but I did get a big spider in my bed! They gave me a different room after I asked the reception, who informed my friend before my changeroo, that they were fully booked after also asking for another room. My new room had at least 5 insects hanging out in the bathtub (RIP), and plenty more in the windowsill as if no one has cleaned this room since weeks ... Some of the people that worked there, were very rude when we asked questions about the food/buffet. I very much dislike leaving this neg review but we were really not happy with our stay. A positive was def Janet from the bar area, we shared a couple of good laugh with her!
